Upon hearing that Grandpa Satou was dying, Kazuma and Aqua did everything they can to make the final days for their endearing guardian to remain comfortable and happy.

And while a humble man throughout his life, when asked about if there was anything they could do to grant some final happy memories with their grandfather, the old man had requested only 1 thing and 1 thing only.

It was for that his grandchildren to renew their vows since he felt that they deserved a proper wedding, one where they were surrounded by friends, family and loved ones.

So after months of planning, and just before the start of their senior year in high school, Kazuma and Aqua set something up a proper wedding during their spring break.

Being kind enough to offer at his estate, the venue was held on Yusuke's property as his grandson, and their friends were there to participate to stand by their friends side, with Ozu being Kazuma's best man, and Vanessa being Aqua's maiden of honor.

Speaking of, the water goddess stood outside the large doors leading to the alter, wearing a blue wedding dress, whilst holding a bouquet of blue and yellow flowers, who was sweating up a storm.

"Oh god, oh god" said Aqua as she felt extremely nervous, in spite of the fact that she and Kazuma were married, and were committed to spend their lives together, and yet standing here outside in her wedding dress was getting her more nervous than a drug mule crossing through a border inspection.

"Everything alright my dear" asked Grandpa Satou as he wore a yukata for the invent instead of a tux, "No- I mean, I don't know, I don't know why I'm panicking so much" said Aqua as she began to fan herself.

Stepping up and gently placing his hand in hers, Grandpa Satou got Aqua to calm down and look him in the eyes all with a warm smile.

"Relax my dear, you just got a case of the wedding jitters, they'll go away soon enough now" said Grandpa Satou reassuringly as they heard the wedding march song playing.

"I believe that's our cue, ready to go" asked Grandpa Satou, "Yes" said Aqua as she linked arms with her grandfather just as the doors open, where he lead her down the aisle.

Even if it was but just their friends and her husband, their stares still made her nervous, but having the old man by her side really helped calmed her down.

"She's all yours boyo" said Grandpa Satou with a smile as they made it in front of the alter, with Yusuke ordaining the whole ceremony.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today for the union between these 2 as they come to renew their vows, an act rarely done, much less so soon" said Yusuke.

"Now if we may start by hearing the vows from the bride" said Yusuke as Aqua turned to grab her parchment from Vanessa, Aqua began to read from it.

"Satou Kazuma, when I first met you, I thought you were the biggest loser who would amount to nothing, less it would benefit your slothful life style as a shut in NEET. And While you're stingy with your money, you've came to prove me wrong and made me realize that beneath that tracksuit, beneath that otaku vibe, you are a man, but not just any man, but a hardworking man who still goes to work even when you get no respect, a family man who comes home everyday to spend time with our grandfather, and me, your loving wife, and no matter what a great man who will give his all to succeed in seeing the happiness for others, even if it means having sacrificing your own for the moment. But more importantly, you're my man, and mine alone to love and see to it you become an even better man, or you know be at least as good as your grandfather" said Aqua as she put her parchment down to see her husband genuinely smiling at her.

"And now, we will hear the vows from the groom" said Yusuke as Kazuma pulled out his parchment from within his tux.

"Aqua, when I first met you, I thought you were a real bitch and a far cry from what it means to be a goddess, and while I still believe that it is true, I know there's more to you. You were always at my side from the beginning when my father wanted nothing to do with us, and when grandpa broke the news about his health, among many, many other little things, and these little things kept on growing and rubbing off on me. When I come home everyday after school, after work, you're always there waiting for me, ready to greet me, ready to tell me that you love me, and make me feel like I have worth as a human being again. And while I can't promise you the moon in my life, I will not stop providing for you, not only financially, but also my love for you, for I feel that no matter what, I can't ever pay you back for everything you did for me. So please just promise to stay with me, forever, and always" said Kazuma as he looked to see that Aqua had tears welling up in her eyes.

"If we have any objections as to why these 2 should not renew their vows, please speak now" said Yusuke, even though it was unlikely, since Kazuma's family isn't here, which he expected, even after sending invites, while Aqua has no real family, at least not on earth.

"Yeah I have an objection" came the voice of a man as everyone turned their head to see a couple of country side rubes from America, at least on first glance.

In reality, Kazuma and Aqua can see through the disguises of the pack of 10 unannounced guest were actually the various gods and goddess back from the heavenly realm in disguise to attend this event.

"And who might you be" asked Grandpa Satou accusingly, "Me, I happen to be the papi that daughter of mine, your son of an onion, grandson chose to swipe from me and my kin" said the man who looked and sound like renowned actor Tom Conway, except if he wore a straw hat, red and white plaid shirt, and overalls as he carried a shotgun in his hands.

In reality this was the God of Gods in disguise as he, along with the God of Time, and God of Kings stepped forward towards the alter, each carrying a rifle in hand.

"Now, didn't I tell you we'd be running a bit late" said the God of Gods as he shot Aqua a wink, "Oh, um, yeah sorry dad, but you took forever" said Aqua as she was going to be scrubbing her tongue for referring to an all mighty, cosmic being as her father.

"Shoot, well it can't be help, I guess I can let you all continue this wedding, however we intend to stand here with ours guns pointed at your back son, just like how you've been telling everyone around when you first got married" said the God of Gods as he was subtly scolding Kazuma for making up and selling the whole shotgun wedding to his friends.

"If it's worth any form of comfort, these ain't loaded, cousin" said the God of Kings as he was trying his hardest to sound like an American hillbilly coming to Japan.

"Right… by the powers vested in me, I pronounce you both… still married" said Yusuke as everyone began to clap and cheer as Aqua and Kazuma chose to roll with it as they sealed the deal with a kiss, before they started to party.

Throughout the night, everyone got to mingle and know the mysterious family Kazuma and Aqua had fabricated, to finally get her background and story straight, with Aqua being a runaway girl from America, who was previously going to school in Beverly Hills High, where she got fed up with her hillbilly family and tried to start her life a new, only to instead get lost with no money, till she ran into Kazuma, who was leaving home and survived getting ran over by a semi, thanks to Aqua nursing her back to health, where in his delirious state asked her for her hand in marriage, which she told her father, and allowed to happen, before they quickly flew to Japan and held Kazuma at gunpoint to commit to her, before winding up here in the present.

Yup, now with a proper back story to fall on, on top of a proper formal wedding, peace of mind can finally rest on the happy couple as they enjoyed the evening, however this moment may last.
