Married… with a Useless Goddess 12

In the time since Kazuma and Aqua got settled into their new house after the passing of Grandpa Satou, a lot has happened these last few months.
Be it having a nice get together and welcome party, Brody getting promoted to the new store manage with him promoting Kazuma as his assistant manager, Vanessa being able to skip a grade and graduate on ahead with her friends, Ami being the first one of the group to get her own car, and of course Ozu getting primmed and prep to run over as the next head of his family clan.
Yup so much has happened, but frankly a lot of it pales in comparison as to what was going on in the life of the new Satou family and what they had in store for them.
Waiting in down town enjoying soft drinks and soft served ice cream were Vanessa and Ami as the patiently awaited for Aqua to join them.
"So Vanessa I heard you might be going to Hokkaido University in a few weeks" asked Ami, "Yeah, that's the plan, go there and get my engineer degree, maybe find a cute boy or girl or 2" said Vanessa.
"I've no doubt you'll find someone out there waiting for you" said Ami as they both spotted a familiar face in the distance.
"Hey girls, sorry I'm so late, it's not easy moving around these days" said Aqua as she was wearing a blue maternity dress over a white long sleeved shirt as she made a spot between her friends.
"It's alright" said Vanessa, "It's not, I've told you many times before I could always come to pick you up" said Ami.
"It's fine girls, now let's not argue and have a good time" said Aqua as her 2 friends gave in and gave into Aqua's demands as they all reminisce back to when this all began.
December of Last Year
If you know Christmas in Japan, you'd know it was essentially Valentines Day as anyone and everyone is doing it, be it married couples at home, coworkers with unrequited love going to a love hotel, or high school sweet hearts doing it out in the park.
And this made no different to Kazuma and Aqua as the water goddess had herself tightly wrapped from head to toe in blue ribbon as she lied patiently in bed.
"Kazuma, come and open your Christmas present already" cooed Aqua as Kazuma stepped out of the bathroom fully naked, less you count the green bow wrapped around his fully erected penis.
"Trust me babe, when I told you that we were going to have nonstop baby making cream pie sex till the break of dawn, I meant it" said Kazuma as he pounced on Aqua, accidentally turning the TV on, which happened to show a bunch of euphemism imagery, like a construction worker using a power drill on the cement floor, someone trying to split a wooden stump in half, 2 sumo wrestlers sumo slapping each other out the ring, a sudsy wash cycle in a washer machine, and finally a submarine firing a bunch of torpedoes.
A Few Weeks Later
It was alarming at first how Aqua suddenly began to puke first thing in the morning for 3 days straight, so naturally Kazuma drove Aqua to the hospital to check in on her.
After running some tests, Aqua and Kazuma waited for their physician to come back with their test results.
"So is everything alright with my wife doctor" asked Kazuma as he held Aqua's hand tightly, "You're wife is perfectly fine Mr. Satou, she's just pregnant" said the doctor as the news hit them both like a bomb.
"Congratulations you 2, please take these pamphlets with you to aid you both throughout your first pregnancy together" said the doctor as he finally dismissed the couple on a bill of clean health.
Even when they were outside, they were still in a stupor of disbelief that some time after they final graduated from high school, they're going to be parents.
"I'm going to be a father" spoke Kazuma as he had to say it out loud as he still find it hard to believe.
"Wah" cried Aqua as she was already balling her eyes out, "Aqua, what's wrong" asked Kazuma as he was even more concern for her well being now that she's confirmed to be pregnant.
"Nothing, I'm just so happy to hear that you and I are going to finally become parents to our first child" cried Aqua as Kazuma held her tight and began to happily cry with her.
By the end of the day, Kazuma and Aqua had shared the news with their friends as they had a small gathering to congratulate the continuously happy couple over their biggest mile stone yet.
"Way to go daddy, you're becoming more of a man by the day" said Ami as she, Kazuma, and Ozu were outside the house lighting a Cuban cigar in celebration.
"So how does it feel man, knowing that you're going to be a dad" asked Ozu, "I'm like happy, scared, excited, just filled with mixed emotions and heavy anticipation" said Kazuma.
"Well you don't have to worry your pretty head about having to do it all alone, you got friends watching your back" said Ami, "Thanks guys that's reassuring to hear" said Kazuma as he turned back to see that Aqua was happily mingling with Brody and Vanessa as they were fawning over her as they were all excited for the arrival of their baby.
4 Months Later
The day had finally arrived for both Aqua and Kazuma to graduate from high school together, which was not easy considering how Japan was definitely one of those countries that encouraged that their female students to drop out of school as soon as they've been confirmed to be pregnant, even if they were a few works short from graduation.
Still thanks to some behind the scenes help from Ozu and Kyoko, they were able to ease any harassment or judgment from the teachers off of Kazuma and Aqua, while any rumors that might have started by the students were quickly snuffed out by Ami and Vanessa.
But even then, none of it mattered now as Aqua and Kazuma were handed their high school diplomas at long last as Aqua proudly flex her very pregnant belly for everyone to see that she may have trapped herself as a house wife, but she was definitely gonna do it with a lot of pride, and strength that only a mother can carry.
"Well we did it guys, we all graduated" said Ami, "Yeah, we did" said Vanessa as she was proud to be graduating with her friends at this very moment.
"Well now that we're out of school for now, what do you guys want to do" asked Kazuma, "Well funny how you should ask since Brody is back at my place with my grandfather preparing us a yakiniku barbeque" said Ozu as he spotted his limo waiting for him.
"Come on guys, let's go to my place and rage the night away" said Ozu, "Except you Aqua, you got to remain sober" said Kazuma as Aqua pouted a little, but appreciated how Kazuma was looking out for her and the little one's wellbeing.
Present Time
After witnessing Aqua drank an orange cream soda with pickle juice and devouring 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream to go with her roast beef, mustard, skittles, and carrot sandwich, with the bread being made of toasty tarts, the girls continued to chat.
"So how are things between you and Kazuma these days Aqua" asked Vanessa, "He's getting ready to be a proper dad. He always make sure the fridge is stocked with my favorite yogurts and puddings, he's fully taken care of all the chores even after a hard day at work, he's always ready to wrap me in a blanket when I'm cold, or rub my feet when they're sore" said Aqua as she had a smile of pure happiness when she thinks about Kazuma.
"That sounds really nice, in fact I'm low key jealous" said Ami as she wished she had someone as chivalrous like that as a boyfriend.
"Me too, especially since my current boyfriend seems to care more about that dog of his a lot more than me" said Vanessa with a pout.
"Aw, don't worry girls, I'm sure you'll find your special someone someday" said Aqua, "Unlikely, we live in Japan and the chances of us finding a Goth Girl with a fat dump truck, or an Emo Boy who enjoys playing the roll of a sub or into crossdressing is highly unlikely" said Ami.
"Speak for yourself, I just want a guy who's at least college educated, and likes gardening, or at least a girl who's down to spend some time down at the local arcade and writing NarutoxGarfield fanfiction" said Vanessa.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that last part, and trust me, given how progressive this world is becoming, I'm sure you're bound to find someone with those qualities even if they're not in that package you were hoping for" said Aqua with a warm smile.
Eventually it was time for Aqua to head back home, as Ami insisted to drop her off.
Once home, Aqua had saw Kazuma coming down the stairs with a hammer in his hand and wiping the sweat off his brow.
"Oh hey Aqua, you're back" greeted Kazuma, "Hey there handsome, what's got you so sweaty" asked Aqua.
"Oh, I just finished building the baby's crib, I was just about to make me a sandwich, you want me to make you anything" asked Kazuma, "A taco with chocolate, herring, peanut butter, and extra cheese" said Aqua.
"One messy taco coming right up" said Kazuma as he left to the kitchen to make their lunches as Aqua sat on the couch and notice that Kazuma left his laptop open.
Apparently during his little project, he was researching baby food and had ordered a large order of diapers in advance.
He's really trying hard to be a proper dad, thought Aqua as she smiled knowing that she was the one blessed to have such a caring husband.
Months Later
After a 2 hour long labor, Aqua finally gave birth to their first born child, Satou Naofumi as she and Kazuma had knew that from that moment on, they'll always strive to work hard and provide for not only their first child, but the ones to come after.
Still if Aqua had any complains it would be her being bed ridden for 2 weeks till she got her strength up, and while she understood that Kazuma had to leave for work, she still felt lonely.
Right now she finished nursing Naofumi as he was happily napping on his mother's bosom, to which Aqua found his sleepy face to be cute.
"Hey Aqua, I'm back" said Kazuma as he peeked his head through the doorway, "Welcome back, Naofumi is asleep right now, so please be quiet" said Aqua.
"Oh, I guess now's a bad time that I brought guest over" Kazuma said sheepishly as Aqua let out a defeated sigh.
"It's alright, I could use some company, plus I think it's about time our friends got to meet their god child" said Aqua with a smile, "Don't you mean demigod child" said Brody jokingly as everyone was there to finally see the child they've all been waiting to meet.
Truly this was a happy moment for everyone, and the best part is, they've only just begun.
Ladies, Gents, and my nonbinary friends, I appreciate your guys continued support as we finally got an update to this fic, which really only continues thanks your guys support.
So there's a lot to dive into right now, and this time I got all the time in the world to chat with you guys.
To start off with, this new chapter is not only to address a new journey in our protagonists lives, but also a metaphor how I'm currently starting a new chapter in my own life.
I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but currently I've relocated here with some family members in Reno, and while I was scared at first, having to start over again, I still managed to fit in, get a feel for the local area, find a job, which I start in a few hours, buy necessary amenities, signed up for financial aid as starting the new year, I am determined to finally finish school, and get my literature degree already.
And while there are things I still need to tackle and I know there are fears that are still beyond the horizon I am ready for them when the time comes, cause this is my last chance to get my life straight, and I plan to do it within the next 3-5 years, cause honestly I am tired of having to hustle in order to not only provide for myself, but to continue to pursuing my dreams as a writer.
Mother is the name of god, a quote used by Eric Draven, and while not every mom, or parent isn't perfect, they should at least have the realization how much responsibility comes when given that title.
I've already said that I don't have the best relationship with my own mother to you guys before, in fact I've even told you guys I have genuine hatred for her, however she's the only parent I can say that I'm not only honest with her, but also respect.
To explain, my mom gave birth to me at a barely legal age, when she still had a lot going for her, when my dad insisted that she got an abortion, which from his point of view at the time, I don't blame him since he and her were still kids, granted my dad was in his mid 20's, but he was still had the personality of a child, my mom however said no and that she was going to have me, with or without him, and since then, she had to for at least the first few years of my young life had to raise me and my brother, together with my dad at the time, and she still managed to not only work, but be a home provider to the best of her abilities, and going to school to get her business degree, which she finally achieved at some time before I turned 10.
It's because of her actions, that I can proudly say I respect her as much as I hate her, now let's try to see things from the other side of this coin.
Currently where I'm living at, I have an aunt, who had 2 kids, a cousin of mine who's the same age as me, and another kid who's roughly 10 years younger than me, and she unfortunately failed not only as a mother, but also as a functional adult to society.
She lost custody of my youngest cousin, who currently lives with my uncle, which was the best thing they can do for the kid, while the oldest one is trying hard to be a proper mom, and while her baby daddy can be an idiot at times, I at least know that she won't ever give up on my niece to provide her a proper life, one without being exposed to walking in on your mom while she's smoking with her degenerate of a boyfriend as they have a kilo of China white and various firearms lain on her bed, a life where she can see both her parents working and not living off government aid and fear of being forced to relocate with her chain smoking grandma even with all the smog in the air at this moment.
The reason why I bring this up is because being a mother, being a parent isn't an easy feat, especially since it feels like you're life doesn't matter since the one who should matter is the baby, which isn't entirely wrong, however a lot of countries and societies take this to an extreme.
How do I know this, I helped raised my youngest brother for the first 2 years of his life, and while I could care less that my moms baby daddy decides to either walk out or get deported, or killed, I know now that he's in better hands than I ever was cause my mom is older, more experienced, more prepared to take him on, even if she has to do it alone, which she wouldn't since me and my brother would help her cause after spending 2 years, helping to feed the kid, play with him, taking him out for morning strolls, waking up in the middle of the night to help carrying him, which is exhausting, not gonna lie, but when the day came for him to say his first word, when he said my name for the first time, I felt an unspeakable amount of pride, and happiness that still melts my heart that day, and on that day I realized and came to respect my parents and what it means to be a parent.
So to all those who think, 'I had my first kid at 18, and another one later, I'm gonna spend the rest of my life working in the back of the house squeezing Orange Juice at Whole Foods, with hopes that I get pension when the day comes for my retirement' is not a bad way to approach your life, especially if you don't have much options, or you can use that moment to spark a fire inside you to be a better provider, and set an amazing example for your children, and their children to follow, and even if you have a generation of failures, if you were able to inspire one child, than that's alright.
I'm fortunate to be alone and single right now, especially now, so I'm choosing this as my chance to strike before I find that lucky someone, or someone's in my life, cause as much as I myself am mad, I've come to realize that I'm more than ready to be a father myself one day.
I think that's all I want to share with you guys, so until then, be safe, be good people, and please support your local fandom communities.
