To say there was trouble in paradise was probably a big understatement that had to be said.
I mean yeah there's the fact that Kazuma is suffering from some form of direct or indirect injury on a daily with his homestays, but he at least has the pleasure of enjoying hide the salami with Lala, Zombina, and just recently with Leechi.
Well things just got complicated since he had to explain a lot of things he was trying to keep under hush lips with not only his homestays and friends, but now the Japanese Government, possibly the world government who knows.
With his first report regarding towards the arrival of Wiz and Yunyun, he had to reveal the fact that he did at some point died, and how he had to live the life as an Isekai hero like from an anime or MMORPG game, henceforth why both he and Aqua are able to use magic, though not helping their case is the fact that both Wiz and Yunyun came here being still able to use magic as well.
It should be noted that Wiz and Yunyun had brought some supplies to possibly help Darkness and Megumin being able to use magic themselves later on, though Kazuma is hoping that neither one, especially Megumin, be allowed to cast magic here back in his world.
After a long week of interrogation and explaining things to the brass, they decided that for the time being that Kazuma, after getting down on his knee's and doing some persistent begging, he'd have custody and control over Yunyun and Wiz, under strict conditions that they, along with the rest of his party members be under house arrest.
As for Kazuma he himself will be under constant surveillance while he's at work and outside, which made things very stressful.
"Kazuma~" whined Aqua, "What is it Aqua" asked Kazuma, "I'm bored, do something".
"I seriously can't do anything, you know this, everyone knows this, and it friggin sucks" said Kazuma as Aqua continued to whine next to him.
"Seriously, I'm getting bored locked up in here, my friends from the LARPing community have been worried and asking about me to when we can all hang out again" said Megumin.
"I'll admit, I'm not enjoying this feeling of cabin fever that much either" sighed Darkness.
"We're sorry guys, had we the foresight to know that our presence would cause us to be put in such a situation, we would have left well enough alone" said Wiz.
"It's fine, I mean you and Yunyun had good intentions at the end of the day" said Kazuma as he was eating himself a bowl Super Munchy Crunchy Bits and some Cüll Ade on the side.
"Hey look at the bright side, you guys get to enjoy in the day of our lives" said Leechi as she began to turn the TV on and switch it to one of the many shows her and her friends have sat down and watch.
"Welcome back to a brand new episode of 'So you think you have boobs with Tobi Yaza, guest staring with him on this episode Miles Luna, Faye Mata, and Tomokazu Seki" said the announcer on the TV.
"Sweet, I've been meaning to watch this show for a while" said Kazuma happily, "Of course you would be eager to watch this show" said Megumin bitterly.
Before everyone could be glued to the boob tube entirely, there was a knock at the door, which Kazuma had no choice but to answer since he's the man of the house on so many reasons now.
"Good day Kazuma" said Mr. Black as he stood outside his front door patiently, "Mr. Black? What are you doing here today sir" asked Kazuma.
"Well I've got some news that I would like to discuss with you about, in regards to your situation" said Mr. Black as this really peaked his interest.
"Mind if I come in and chat about this matter in a more private setting" said Mr. Black, "Of course sir, come on in" said Kazuma as he let his boss inside as this didn't go unnoticed by everyone inside.
"Guys, this is my boss and he's got some news for all of us" said Kazuma as everyone went to properly greet the man who pretty much had them all in this predicament.
"So what was it that you wanted to talk about sir" asked Kazuma, "Straight to the point, very well, in regards to your recent house arrest, an act that the government now realize to be quite cruel, they want to formally apologize for their transgressions and be the one to inform you that as of this day, you're all free to resume living your lives" said Mr. Black as everyone in the Satou household began to cheer in joy upon hearing this news.
"There is however a bit of a catch, while the girls you had brought back from the other world are more than welcome to live their lives here in Japan, it's only here in Japan as the government heavily insist that these woman, Aqua, Darkness, Megumin, Yunyun, and Wiz that they should focus on getting better acquainted with the men of Japan, possibly even keep in mind to the thought of marriage" said Mr. Black as this was already upsetting everyone.
"Really, we're treated as nothing more than property, as valuable assets" asked Aqua, "Even I got to admit this does sound quite a bit tyrannical for degrading us like this" said Darkness as this wasn't the domination play she was into as this feels more like she was living under her fathers roof all over again.
"Yes, I… must confess that I thought the same thing when they mentioned I relay this message, but I assure you that the Japanese government will provide you anything you need and will even help set you up to hook up with the elite members of society" said Mr. Black with a pained smile since this type of forced control on people in general goes against everything he stands for when he became the big boss of keeping the peace of the liminial relationship.
"Hey hold on a second, why the hell are these girls are being offered a chance of being the 1% of Japan and not me!" demanded Kazuma angrily, "Kazuma! There's a limit to how based we can be" said Lala angrily.
"Lala, where did you come from" asked Killa, "Irrelevant, also you have me and these other floozies you jerk" said Lala as she began to angrily pout.
"And that's exactly why you weren't offered such an opportunities Kazuma, you see this meeting we had between the brass and higher ups have the unfortunate habit mudslinging and revealing everyone's dirty laundry, and well while I myself did not mind the fact that you're in a relationship with a liminial, much less seem to enjoy a pseudo open relationship with your homestays, the liminials of your neighbors, and even with you coworkers, the men in charge and above me didn't think you were worth investing in since they consider this to be rather, how do I say this kindly, tainting" said Mr. Black.
"Tainting, what because I happen to want to have my own harem of hot babes of different races to myself" said Kazuma as he was insulted beyond words.
"Pretty much, I know it's quite appalling how backwards those degenerate baboons think, act, and say at times" said Mr. Black.
"Well screw them and tell those old farts they can kiss the whitest part of my ass, I ain't giving up my happiness, even if they were to offer me an alternative" said Kazuma as he tried to clung to Lala, but she pushed him away.
"I knew you would say that, so if you want to really stick it to them, by all means create the biggest interspecies harem you want, especially with the woman you love and those who love you back, which from what I'm able to see isn't that much of an impossibility for you" said Mr. Black as the girls behind Kazuma began to blush over their little open secret.
"Now one last thing before I forget, the government has also extended a form of compensation for all of you, in regards to indirectly affecting everyone and so they wish to offer you all 3 boons that they shall fully honor so long as it's within reason and be within Japan, just give me a call and some time to set everything up" said Mr. Black.
"Oh and I'm supposed to offer those from the other world a position working for the government if you like, otherwise if you need some help in acquiring a job for anywhere else, I'll be gladly to use my connections to help you all" said Mr. Black with a kind smile.
"Now I've said everything I needed to say, so please enjoy your freedom, you've all quite deserve it, Kazuma I shall see you Monday bright and early" said Mr. Black as he went and saw himself out.
"Well you heard the man guys, let's go out and do something together already" said Aqua as the girls began to rush back to their rooms and began to doll themselves up for some fun on the sun, while Kazuma was left alone with Lala.
"Lala, about what I said-ow" said Kazuma as Lala punched him in the arm, "That's for being a smart alec you jerk" said Lala.
"I deserve that" admitted Kazuma, "And you also deserve this" said Lala as she went and planted a kiss on his cheek.
"That's for saying how you'd reject any alternative methods" said Lala with a smile.
"Though don't think that means your off the hook yet, you owe me a proper date once you and your housemates get to enjoy the fresh air today" said Lala, "I'll start making plans then" said Kazuma as he saw Lala off.
Once everyone was in proper attire, they spend the whole day out at the park and enjoying an all you can eat buffet dinner afterwards, something that they all needed.
During that time, Kazuma got a bunch of text messages from not only his neighbors, but also his coworkers and how he's free to date and so has something to look forward to in the weeks ahead of him.
"I'm back baby!" exclaimed Kazuma as he felt everything was going to be back to normal again.
Hey guys, thank you all again for waiting for the next chapter to be updated after a long time, but as promised I shall going through another dating arc, this one centered around the girls of team Kazuma and the remaining girls of the Kurusu household, so if you guys have any dating suggestions, I'm open to suggestions.
With that being said, I pretty much have the date between Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin figured out, Megumin's more than anyone else so we'll probably see her date first.
