The World of Shinobi and the World of Pokemon are usually separated. After all, both worlds are in entirely different multiverses from one another. Surprisingly, there are some similarities between them. The World of Pokemon has fantastical creatures with extraordinary powers, and even humans with superhuman abilities like aura control, psychic abilties, and limited super strength. Likewise, the World of Shinobi have fantastical creatures and humans with vastly superhuman powers.

However, their differences do not stop there. The Pokemon World has a world-ending catastrophe that happens almost yearly. This catastrophe is typically started in a specific region and a child from that region is typically the one to stop it. The child utilizes the knowledge they have gained by defeating gifted trainers and villainous teams with the help of their beloved pokemon. Often, the child becomes the champion of their region and grows to be recognized as that region's protector.

On the other hand, the Shinobi World is filled with bloodshed and strife between the shinobi villages. At least, it used to be before a young boy named Naruto helped end a war among wars. Obito, Madara, and Kaguya were all threats to his entire world. With the friends Naruto made along the way (including befriending the fantastical beast within him), he was able to save the entire world. He is loosely similar to the children from the pokemon world.

Now, that young man is 33. He has achieved his goals for his life: he saved the world, he brought back his best friend, he became Hokage, people respect him, and he even has a family of his own.

He has seen tailed beasts, giant animals, deceased loved ones, aliens, eyes that create ethereal beings, villains turn to redemption, other dimensions, and even zombies made of paper. However, nothing prepared him for what he is witnessing at this moment.

Naruto stared down at a small, but unusually large yellow rodent who stared back at him. "Sasuke, what the hell is that?"

Sasuke looked at Naruto nonchalantly. "Apparently, it's yours."

Naruto slowly looked up from the bipedal rodent, who is currently playing with the pens on Naruto's desk. "Yeah, I am going to need more information than that."

Sasuke, in a mixture of nonchalance and somewhat dazed, handed his best friend a ball. "This has your name on it."

Naruto looked down at the ball incredulously. Sure enough. It had the name "Naruto" on it. Shockingly, under his name was another, "Shoyu." Naruto looked back at his best friend.

Naruto took a deep breath. A few weeks ago, Sasuke reported that he sensed a portal open up in their world. He was calm when he spoke about it. He needed to make sure more Otsutsuki were not coming their way, so he was going to scout the area. Unfortunately, the portal closed behind him. Naruto demanded the intelligence team to try and find a solution to save someone he viewed as brother, but to no avail. Now, out of the blue, two weeks later, Sasuke arrived with a yellow rat.

Naruto took another glance towards Sasuke's attire. His clothes were filled with tears, blood, and dirt. Sasuke has not even washed the dirt off his face. Whatever happened while he was over there must have been difficult. Maybe Naruto should start with a different approach.

"Okay," Naruto paused to ponder his words. "What happened over there?"

Sasuke stopped and memories of fighting multiple angry bears in the Crimson Mirelands, fighting Ultra Beasts in a Wormhole, having to deal with four different villainous teams, getting chased by a monster with long blonde hair and physically painful kisses, and literally meeting that Universe's god himself all without breaks in between flashed through his mind. "I'd rather not say."

Naruto's eye twitched. Sasuke is normally very dutiful and straight to the point. However, it seems whatever he went through has caused the Uchiha to decide to put it off until later. Naruto was about to respond when Sasuke handed him another ball. Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"What is this?" Naruto asked with mild annoyance.

Sasuke stared blankly, as if Naruto is the biggest idiot he has ever met. Naruto scowled and looked it over. Incredulous, Naruto sees that it has his name on it again with the name "Niseru" under it.

The yellow rodent perked up at the site of the ball and ran over to it. He clicked the button, which only caused Naruto to be more flabbergasted. Six little beings came out of the ball. Five of them were black with spherical bodies. The one in front wore what looked like a yellow helmet and seemed to be in charge. Naruto looked back up at his rival.

"What the hell is that?!" Naruto asked in shock.

Sasuke looked almost bored at this point. "It's yours."

Naruto was beginning to lose his patience. He was about to start throwing a tantrum like he did as a kid when the yellow rodent and six weird spheres started cuddling him. Naruto hesitantly let them.

Naruto took a deep breath. Obviously, Sasuke has hit his head and he is just dazed right now. "Please go see Sakura. After she checks you over and clears you for the okay, tell me everything."

Sasuke nodded and walked out, leaving Naruto with his apparent pets. "Shoyu" the yellow rodent hopped on his shoulder while "Niseru" the apparent group of animals hopped around his office. They all seemed very excited to be there, even if Naruto did not have a clue about what they are.

As Naruto tried to make sense of the little information he has, he hears something that sets him alight with dread. He hears Sakura yell "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"

It was going to be a long day.

Sakura has been worried sick over her husband's disappearance. He is tied for the strongest person alive, yet she cannot help but worry about why he has not come back yet. She has been spending all of her free time to work with the intelligence team to get her man back. You can only imagine the relief she felt as her husband walked through the door.

She rushed to hug him only for him to hold a ball in front of her. Her joy dipped a bit into puzzlement as she took it. It had her name and the word "Hime" on it. It also had a button, which she pressed. A (relatively) giant, purple, rodent-rhino-reptile hybrid appeared in her. All joy within her has dissipated.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" A startled Sakura yelled as she backed up.

Sasuke looked a bit tense in response and warily looked at the creature. The creature's eyes began to well with tears and it started stomping away in despair. Sasuke looked back at Sakura with irritation, causing Sakura to flinch a little.

"She is sensitive." Sasuke stated, matter of factly.

Sakura opened her mouth and then closed it. Obviously, Sasuke is in a mood that is indescribable to her. Regardless, she looked at the mammal and finally noticed that each stomp she made is adding cracks to her office. Sakura quickly sped over and picked the creature up over her head to minimize the damage.

The creature looked down at her in mild surprise. It was very apparent that the creature was not expecting her to interact with her, let alone lift her. The two began a unintentional staring contest.

As Sakura stared at the face of the being, guilt arose within her. Sakura reluctantly stated "I'm sorry."

The creature got so excited at her apology that she licked Sakura's face in excitement, covering the pinkette in saliva. Sakura was too surprised to even feel anything other than neutral towards it.

"I have to go give Kakashi one of his. You'll get others later." Sasuke stated blankly, as he walked out of the door.

"Uh huh." Sakura responded dumbly, before fully processing what he said. "OTHERS?!"

At this point, Sasuke was getting annoyed that people were asking him what pokemon were. So he has decided he will now be adding the species name on the pokeballs before he gives it someone.

Kakashi stared across from him as Sasuke wrote on a ball that is apparently "for him." Once Sasuke was finished, he received a ball that said "Kakashi", "Lycanroc Midday", and "Name it yourself." Kakashi sweat dropped a bit.

"Are you feeling alright Sasuke?" Kakashi asked, feigning neutrality.

Sasuke looked back at him. "Yeah."

Kakashi nodded and pressed the ball. A fairly large canine-like animal appeared. It looked up at him and nuzzled his leg. Kakashi was slightly surprised it was courser and more rock-like than he expected.

"Thanks." Kakashi stated.

"Hn." Sasuke grunted, as he walked away.

As Sasuke walked back towards Naruto's office, he felt the obnoxious amount of stress on his shoulders. It has been a long two weeks, and his current mission is not even over. Fighting in an entirely different universe across time and space, catching creatures he did not even think existed, and getting a mission from a multiversal being called Arceus is a lot to do in two weeks.

Sasuke grew annoyed when he thought about Arceus. What should have been a short scouting mission turned into all of that because of him. He is the reason he has to give these pokemon to people, and the being did not even limit it to those who are alive. Time travel is bullshit.

Sasuke pulled out one of his own personal pokeballs, the one that contains his beloved Houndoom. At least this mission has given him some good allies.

As he neared the office, he walked by Shikamaru who glanced at him warily. Sasuke nonchalantly tossed him a ball that says "Shikamaru" and "Gothitelle." Without even waiting for Shikamaru to respond, Sasuke walked inside.

Shikamaru looked at the ball and cautiously pressed the button. A black, feminine being appeared and immediately hugged him. Shikamaru sighed warily.

"What a drag."

Author's Note:

Yeah, I wanted to write a story that does not have to be massive if I did not want it to be, so this idea popped up. I thought it could be funny lol.

This is just to help remember what characters have what right now:

Kakashi: Lycanroc Midday

Naruto: Pikachu (Shoyu), Falinks (Niseru)

Sakura: Nidoqueen "Hime"

Sasuke: Houndoom, five other pokemon

Shikamaru: Gothitelle
