Connor had always dreamed of becoming a member of the elite King's Guard, the most prestigious group of warriors in the kingdom. He had trained hard, honing his skills in swordplay and archery, and had finally earned his place among the royal protectors. But after only a few months of service, Connor began to realize that this was not the life he had imagined.

The endless duties and protocols of being a King's Guard left him feeling confined and restless. He missed the freedom he had as a commoner and longed for adventure and excitement. Despite his initial enthusiasm, Connor knew that the life of a King's Guard was not for him.

One day, as he was patrolling the kingdom's borders, Connor received news that the king had decided to organize a grand tournament to celebrate his recent adoption of himself into the royal family. Connor was surprised and honored by the news, but also worried about his lack of enthusiasm for his new role.

As he walked back to the palace, Connor's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the TARDIS materializing in front of him. He recognized the familiar blue box as the Doctor's time machine and was thrilled to see his closest friend stepping out of it.

'Connor my boy, it's so good to see you!' the Doctor exclaimed, pulling him into a hug.

Connor couldn't contain his excitement as he told the Doctor about his new position as a King's Guard and the upcoming tournament that his father is organising

'Well, I have a little something for you,' the Doctor said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a sleek, silver sonic screwdriver. 'Consider it a gift to help you on your new journey.'

Connor was speechless as he held the sonic screwdriver in his hands. He promised that the doctor to take care of it

As the day of the tournament approached, Connor couldn't shake off his doubts about his role as a King's Guard. He confided in the Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, whom he had become close friends with during his time at the palace. She was kind and understanding, and listened to his concerns.

'Have you spoken to my father about this?' she asked.

'No, I wouldn't want to disappoint him,' Connor replied.

Rhaenyra smiled and said, 'Don't worry, I'll talk to him. He's always been understanding and open-minded.'

True to her word, Rhaenyra spoke to her father, the King about Connor's predicament. The king was surprised but understanding, and he called for Connor to join them in the throne room.

'My son, I have heard about your doubts regarding your role as a King's Guard,' the king said. 'I understand that it may not be the life you envisioned, but I hope you will give it some time and see how things go. In the meantime, I have something that might interest you.'

He went on to tell Connor about the upcoming dragon games, a competition that would test the skills and bravery of the kingdom's warriors. The winner would be granted a wish by the king himself.

Connor's eyes lit up with excitement. This was the kind of adventure he had been longing for. With renewed enthusiasm, he wanted to be part of the games he was told the great houses of Seven Kingdoms would compete in the games and of course it was the celebration of House Targaryen
