Imagine it's still Christmas guys lol.
Anyways I noticed I have some unfinished stories so I am going to go work on those, the goal is that every story on her has the lovely complete sign beside it.
Enjoy lovebugs :)

"Well, I am glad that you are having fun on the cruise, Mom, especially with Ms. Mary," Mercedes said on the phone. Typically Mercedes and her mother always spent the holidays together, but this year Melinda and her new best friend, Mary Evans, decided that they would be partaking in a holiday cruise this year, which was fine by Mercedes because this allowed her to spend Christmas with Santana, and her girlfriend Quinn. And they were due to come by her house pretty soon. Lucky for Mercedes, she had finished cooking earlier this morning along with wrapping gifts, so she was sitting by a tree drinking a glass of wine as she watched some of her favorite holiday movies, and hung up the phone with her mom.

She was in the middle of watching Almost Christmas when there was a ringing at the doorbell. Pausing the movie, she stood from her couch and headed to the door and checked the peephole, and sure enough, there was one Stacey Evans at the door. She swung the door open and immediately, the now sophomore was hugging her.

"Merry Christmas, Mercedes." Stacey cheered.

"Merry Christmas, Stacey, oh how I have missed your face. How is shadowing Artie going?" Mercedes questioned. Artie had made a deal with Stacey that as long as she did well in school, as long as her parents allowed it, during her breaks, she could come down to LA and shadow Artie's work. Luckily for her, it worked out great, and she was able to shadow Artie. She enjoyed being in the studio with him and learning the ins and outs of the job. There also was the perk of being able to work with either new artists or veterans.

"Oh, Merce, it is going amazing. I have learned so much, and I even saved up enough money to get my equipment." Stacey smiled.

"I'm glad for you, sweetie. How did you know where I lived?" Mercedes asked. Stacey shifted towards the left, and sure enough, a few feet behind her, there was one Sam Evans dressed in a matching red and green Christmas sweater that went along with Stacey's.

"She is spending the holiday season with me, and she wanted to know if she could see you, so I pointed her in the right direction," Sam spoke. Mercedes smiled.

"How about both of you coming on in? Quinn and Santana will be here soon, and we can spend Christmas together," Mercedes suggested.

"We wouldn't want to impose," Sam replied.

Mercedes playfully rolled her eyes, "Sam, you guys wouldn't be imposing. You are both practically family."

"Great idea, I will go and grab our gifts and the puppy," Stacey announced before heading back over to Sam's. Sam entered the house while Mercedes shut the door behind her. She walked towards the living room, and Sam followed behind her.

"You know we would have been fine spending Christmas by ourselves." Sam began.

"I know, but I insisted that you come over, and trust me, Evans, that was going to be one argument that you would not ever have won." Mercedes laughed.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Sam added, "Did you mean what you said? That we are family." Mercedes walked over to Sam and held his hands.

"Sam, I know we didn't end on the best of terms, but we are a family, especially since our moms are best friends and decided to spend their respective holidays on a cruise."

Sam chuckled, "Yeah, I forgot about that detail too. Thanks, Mercedes."

"Of course." Maybe it was the sentiments of the holidays, maybe it was the fact that she hadn't kissed anyone since Sam, and maybe it was the fact that he had such growth, but she couldn't fathom why she felt this way. But she couldn't help herself, so she leaned up and kissed Sam. It surprised him, but he leaned into it, wanting to savor the feel of her lips on his. Mercedes pulled away and looked at Sam.

"I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have-." Sam interrupted her by pulling her back in and cradling her face in his hands as he kissed her again. Mercedes wrapped her hands around the back of his neck, as she moaned into his mouth.

"And here I thought you needed mistletoe to kiss, but you two prefer pine." Santana came into the house with Quinn behind her and instantly Mercedes and Sam pulled apart.

Just then Stacey came through the door holding the presents, and Nala in her carrier, "The Evans siblings are ready for Christmas."

Mercedes cleared her throat, "OK, how about you all head to the kitchen and start eating, I have to go do something upstairs really quick." Mercedes spoke everyone went to the kitchen, and she headed upstairs to her bedroom. She walked through the bathroom ran some cold water in the sink and splashed her face. When she dried her face she turned and saw a smirking Santana leaning on the bathroom door.

"I saw Mercedes kissing Sam Evans for the first time in a year, wow." Santana teased her friend.

"Shutup, ok it was an accident. A very hot, and dreamy accident. Can we just go downstairs and eat please." Mercedes begged as she walked past Santana to get downstairs. The two walked downstairs to find that Stacey, Sam, and Quinn were already making their plates of food. Sam and Mercedes locked eyes for a second before Sam averted his direction to the mac n cheese he was trying to pour on his plate.

Surprisingly the dinner went without a hitch and everyone was enjoying themselves with the Christmas music playing in the background as they decided to do rounds of pool after dinner. Of course, Mercedes and Sam were tied with games because they were the best players in the entire house which drove Santana nuts that she couldn't win.

"You know what forget both of you, Quinn and I are heading out," Santana huffed out as she grabbed her coat.

Sam laughed at her as he took a sip of the Christmas mocktail, "Don't be bad that you are losing Santana."

"Whatever Trout Lips," Santana yelled out as she flipped him off. Quinn stood and grabbed her coat.

"You know she hates losing, but anyways I will see you later Cedes, bye Sam bye Stacey," Quinn spoke as she gave them hugs and left the house. Stacey ends up picking Nala and bidding both Mercedes and Sam goodnight. She insisted that she had work tomorrow and she wanted to get some sleep.

Mercedes spoke to Sam as she readied herself to hit a ball, "You know you can go home to Sam."

Sam smirked as he watched her sink a ball into the pocket, "Don't be afraid that I might beat you, Ms. Jones."

She scoffed, "You beating me is possibly one of the most hilarious delusions that you have ever had." Sam rolled his eyes playfully and walked around the table smiling that Mercedes had missed, so now it allowed him to hit a ball.

"A delusion no, but simply a mere fact." He replied as he sunk a ball into another pocket. Mercedes stood off in the corner watching him as she drank some more of her eggnog as Sam continued to hit balls into the pockets. Not one to accept defeat easily, Mercedes walked over beside Sam and rubbed his arm softly. Of course, he cracked and missed the ball. Sam looked down at her as she moved him out of the way to take his abandoned spot.

"You did that on purpose." Sam accused.

"No, I didn't." She smirked as she was able to his another ball in. At this point in the game, they both had only one ball to sink before they could hit the eight ball. Naturally, Sam wasn't going to let her win easily so moved behind her and caressed her hip.

"Just one more ball, Ms. Jones," Sam whispered in her ear. Like he planned Mercedes shuttered under his touch, and she tried to remain focused on the objective at hand but she ended up missing the ball. Sam gently moved her out of the way and readied himself to hit the ball. However, Mercedes moved in front of him and pulled Sam down for a kiss, it was long and sweet as he dropped his pool stick and wrapped her in his arms. When they pulled away Sam looked down at her.

"I have a feeling you have been wanting to do that since they left," Sam spoke.

"Or I just really wanted to win that pool game." Mercedes joked, as they both laughed Mercedes looked up at Sam and sighed.

"I never stopped loving you, I was just so hurt and angry," She sighed.

"I know, and I can not apologize enough for it, and I never stopped loving you," Sam revealed.

"What if we start over this time, just you and me."

"I'd love that." Sam smiled as he leaned down and kissed Mercedes again, loving how good her lips felt on his. "Best Christmas ever."
