Chapter 26 - Kanto League Starts
Azlan and his group reached the Indigo Plateau, where he noticed Ash and his group, Gary, and some of the trainers, which he has meets with, has also reached the place.
Indigo Plateau, this place was the home of the Pokemon League of Kanto. Everyone was so much excited for this league.
Trainers were excited for showing off their training results, audience were excited for enjoying the intresting Pokemon battle.
As the rules were coming from the many years, before the tournament begins, the lighting the ceremonial cauldron with the flame of the legendary Pokemon, Moltres, begin.
Ash, as a participant, is free to carry the flame and he was so much excited, as he does the event, and even the Moltres the Legendary Pokemon also show his face there, everyone cheered for it.
As the event ended, Azlan goes to participate in the tournament. He reached the Pokemon Centre, where Nurse Joy was making the entry of everyone inside the tournament after verifying their Gym Badges.
"Next," Nurse Joy said, after completing the entry. Azlan comes in front of Nurse Joy.
"Okay, participants, please show me your badges, and give me your Pokedex," Nurse Joy said, and Azlan gives her the Pokedex.
Nurse Joy puts the Pokedex into a machine, and started entering the command. Once she had finished with it she handed over back to him.
Nurse Joy strated explaining him, "First, you need to win four Primellary battle to qualify in tournament, by battle on Rock, Ice, Water and Grass, and this will be continued battle. If you lose anyone of this, you will be kicked out of the tournament. Then rest of your battles and types of fields, have been downloaded into your Pokedex."
Azlan nodded after taking the Pokedex, as he found his next contestant was a girl named Sandy, and it will take place in the Rock field.
"Hello Azlan," Azlan turned to see who called him, he found Ash called him.
"So, who is your opponent?" Azlan asked.
"My opponent is someone named Yakuza, and it will take place on the water field," Ash replied. They started talking about their Pokemon, when they heard, Announcer call the Azlan name, the same time another announcer announced Ash to be present in the battle.
"Good luck for the battle," Azlan congratulated him.
"Same to you, good luck for your battle," Ash also congratulated him.
Azlan reached the field, there was rock everywhere. In his opposite position a girl is standing there. Sandy noticed Azlan came with the three Pokemon, since all his Pokemon were outside. They are Leafeon, Hypno and Charizard.
The referee raised both flags in the air, and announced, "This is a first round qualifying match between Sandy from Pewter City Azlan Starwind, from Pallet Town. This is a three on three. All clauses are in effect. Once one trainer loses all their Pokemon, then I will declare the winner. Trainer sends out your first Pokemon."
"Wartortle, ready for battle," Sandy said and threw the second evolution of Squirtle.
"Leafeon takes the stage," Azlsn said and Leafeon jumped on the stage.
"Wartortle Water Gun," Sandy commands and the water blows from the Wartortle, in speed water going toward Leafeon.
"Leafeon dodge it, and use Razor Leaf," Leafeon easily odge it because she was greater in speed than Wartortle, and then she fires the continuous leaf on the rock and some of them on the Wartortle. And Wartortle got more hurted by the rock falling on all of his over, it shows Leafeon was so experienced. So by this Wartortle got knocked out in one heat.
"Wartortle is unable to battle, winner is Leafeon, Red side trainer sends out your next Pokemon," the Referee said.
"You are really amazing, your Leafeon was maybe so much experienced, but this time, I will not lose. Charizard, I choose you." Sandy throws his next Pokeball, which reveals the fire orange dragon.
"Leafeon, Leaf Blade," Azlan commanded, Leafeon gathered the leaf in his paw, and it turned into the blade shape, with it she attacked on the Charizard.
"Charizard, Flame Thrower," Sandy commanded, Charizard fired a huge fire blast from his mouth, which vaporized the Leafeon Leaf Blade, and hit him, nearly knocking him out.
"Leafeon, use Iron Tail." Leafeon, following Azlan's command, attacks the Leafeon with his tail, which turns into Iron, and hits the Charizard.
But after the Leafeon attacked the Charizard, "Charizard captured Leafeon, and flew into the sky," Sandy commanded. Charizard caught the Leafeon, before he ran away, and he flew into the sky.
"Now, use Seismic Toss," Charizard comes down with the spinning, and throws back the Leafeon on the ground with force, which causes Leafeon to fall on the ground with his eyes swirling.
"Squirtle is unable to battle, Green side trainer sends out your next Pokemon," Referee raised the flag on Sandy's side.
"Charizard, take the stage, and use Flame Thrower" Azlan command, the Charizard flew in the arena from the sidelines, and he as release the huge fire on the other Charizard. It caused Sandy's Charizard to get hurted.
"Charizard, use Seismic Toss," Sandy shouted, his Charizard went from behind and captured Azlan's Charizard, then he flew upward.
Azlan noticed Sandy's Charizard was taking his Charizard into the sky, and he just waited for the right chance. When the Sandy's Charizard comes downward with spinning, ready to use the Seismic Toss.
"Charizard escapes from the other Charizard and throws him back on the ground," At Azlan's command, his Charizard quickly escapes from Sandy's Charizard capture, and throws him back on the ground with his full force.
Sandy's Charizard crashed on the ground very hard, he already used his full power on the Seismic Toss, and mixed with Azlan's Charizard power, he crashed on the ground with full force, he stood for a moment, before he fell down again."
"Charizard is unable to battle, Red side trainer, send your last Pokemon," Referee announced, raising his flag towards Azlan's side.
"It's my last chance to beat you, Nidorino takes the place," Sandy shouted, the lover Pokemon came out on the battlefield.
"Attack using Toxic," He commands and Nidorino blows the toxic toward the Charizard.
"Charizard, use Ember." Azlan quickly commands, and the Charizard blows the little fire from his tail, which destroys the Toxic powder.
"Now Charizard, use Fire Fang," Charizard mouth has become heated, as he caught the Nidorino. "Now, use Flamethrower," As he commands, Charizard blows the fire from his mouth.
"Nidorino, use Dig," Sandy quickly commanded, Nidorino dodge the fire by just digging a hole in the ground and hiding inside of it.
"Charizard, quickly Flamethrower on the hole of the ground," As the Azlan commanded, Charizard blew a huge fire inside of the ground.
Nidorino came out of the ground, it shows, she took huge damage from the fire, as she came out, she fell on the ground, with her eyes swirling.
Referee raised the flag toward Azlan's side, "Amazing folks, it's like the trainer Azlan Starwind claimed victory, since trainer Sandy is out of Pokemon, victory goes to Azlan Ketchum," Referee declared in joy and excitement.
The audience cheered and shouted for the amazing match, while Azlan didn't show any effects on his increasing fan following, he calmly exited from the field ignoring everyone. He found that Ash and Gary also won their first battle.
Next day he found Ash and Gary already won their own battle. And now, he was going to battle a boy named Yakuza on Water Field. Lucario followed behind him, with the Hypno and Leafeon. He reached the battlefield when the announcer announced his name.
He noticed Yakuza was a cocky and arrogant trainer. Because Yakuza was told by many trainers that he will win the battle with ease and defeat their Pokemon like nothing.
"This is a second round battle between Yakuza Colio from Vermillion City and Azlan Starwind. This is a three on three battle. All clauses are in effect, once all of one trainers Pokemon are fainted then I will declare the winner. Trainer please prepare your first Pokemon," Referee explains the rule.
"So you are the kid who's going to lose to me, Exxegutor takes the place," Yakuza said and threw his Pokeball which revealed to be a Psychic and Grass Type four head tree.
"Hypno, take the stage," Azlan commanded, and his Hypno jumped on the stage.
"Exxegutor, use Psychic to hold him then attack by Egg Bomb," Yakuza said, and Exxegutor used Psychic to hold off, then he threw some egg toward Hypno, which blast and give heavy damage to Hypno.
"Hypno, use Hypnosis," Azlan quickly commanded. Hypno started the Exxegutor, who was immobilized by Hypno glaring and then fell in the Hypno's hand, "Now, make it over."
Hypno followed Azlan's command and made Exeggutor harm himself by colliding everywhere. Yakuza tried many times to wake up the Exeggutor, but he was unsuccessful. And just like that, Exxegutor was knocked out.
"Exxegutor is unable to battle. Hypno is the winner. Red side trainer sends out your next Pokemon," Referee said. Yakuza recalled Exxegutor and then threw another ball onto the field.
"Seadra, I choose you." The Water/ Dragon Pokemon landed on one of the floating islands.
"Hypno, use Psychic," Azlan commanded before Yakuza said any word, Hypno hands and eyes started glowing and he caught Seadra in his control. Then he slammed Seadra many times on the ground, until Seadra was not knocked out, much to Yakuza surprise.
"Seadra is unable to battle, Hypno is the winner, Red side trainer sends out your last Pokemon," the Referee announced.
"Golbat, I choose you." Yakuza shouted and Golbat came on the field.
"Hypno, Psybeam," Once again, Azlan commands and Hypno releases the psychic beam from his palm which hit the Golbat, before he knows anything, he is knocked out.
The referee raised the flag on Azlan's side of the field, "Golbat is unable to battle. The winner is Hypno, and with all of Yakuza's Pokemon unable to battle, I declare Azlan the winner of this first round match!" Everyone was shocked, by the use of only one Pokemon, Azlan knocked out the opponents all Pokemon. And his fan following once again grew up.
As he left the battlefield, he came outside where many people called him for his autograph, and they tried to reach near him, but the Hypno and Lucario made it impossible, as he calmly exited the stadium, and returned back to his room, which was allotted by the Pokemon League.
PSYCHIC USER MANSION
Pakura wakes up her eyes, and the last thing she remembers is searching for Evil Psychic Users or Shira Tobi's descendants. But his bad luck, as she enters the Toshiro Tobi's Mansion, which is protected by the Psychic rays, she is attacked by the Tushiro Tobi's left and right hand women, Sarada and Himawari.
Pakura defeated both of them, and she also defeated more other Evil Psychic Users. But, Tushiro was not like other than, he was the strongest user of the Psychic power, he easily Hypnosis the Pakura before she understood anything, and the next thing she found, she was inside a house, and some types like a belt attached to her both hands. The belts is not any simple belt, but this will cutting her Psychic powers from her. This cause, she is unable to send any messages to Ash.
TEAM ROCKET HQ
Giovanni was really frustrated, first Mewtwo escaped, and then caught by the Azlan's guy and now, Evil Psychic User broke their partnership with the Team Rocket. It was really bad, as the Psychic Users treat him like a loser.
They only needed the Team Rocket, till they have Mewtwo, but without Mewtwo, they do not think the Team Rocket has any value. Giovanni decided to take revenge on both Mewtwo and Evil Psychic Users.
Now his first mission was to capture the Mewtwo and take it from the Azlan, and second was to destroy the Evil Psychic Users, and he already decided what he needed. He has taken the Evil Psychic Users blood sample, and ready to be infused in some human. He was going to make his own Psychic User, who do as he want. And he already captured some human, they does as he want. And he will rules the world.
INDIGO PLATEAU
Azlan reaches towards the battlefield, he finds that Gary and Ash have already won their third match. He was going to battle a beautiful girl named Simran on the Grass Field. His opponent, Simran Fisher is also popular, or more popular than Azlan.
His opponent Simran teases him that she will win this battle. "This is the third Primellary battle between trainer Azlan Starwind, who shows us many amazing skills to us and Simran Fisher from the Cerulean City, she is famous in her city and known to be a very beautiful trainer. Both trainers start your battle." Announcer announced it.
Both Simran Fisher and Azlan raise their hands, and the crowd erupted in cheer. "So, let's get ready for this match. Beedrill takes the place." Simran says, as she throws her first Pokeball, which revealed the yellow and black needle bug Pokemon.
"Leafeon, show your powers," Azlan said, and Leafeon jumped on the stage from beside him.
"Beedrill attacked by the Poison Sting." Simran ordered and Beedrill started attacking by his needle toward the Leafeon.
"Leafeon dodge it and use Razor Leaf." Azlan commands, and Leafeon dodge it in the meantime, then she attacks back by the sharp leaves which go toward Beedrill.
"Beedrill counters it with Twineedle." Beedrill cut all the leaves with his needle as Simran ordered.
AUDIENCE SEAT
"Wow, how cute Simran is, I was hoping she doesn't have a boyfriend, and she will make me her husband." Brock again fell in love, as he started cheering Simran. Misty tells him "There's no way that boyfriend is going to be you, mister, if that girl beats Azlan!" she gives a smack on Brock's head.
BACK TO BATTLE
"Leafeon, use Body Slam." Azlan orders Leafeon to jump on Beedrill and start slamming on him. When Leafeon releases him, Beedrill is already fainted.
"Beedrill is unable to battle, winner is Leafeon, Red side trainer sends your next Pokemon," the Referee said.
"You have done your best Beedrill, now let's live everything on the Scyther," Simran praised her Beedrill for a good match, and threw her next Pokeball, which revealed the flying cutter bug Pokemon.
"Leafeon, use Razor Leaf," Azlan commanded Leafeon to attack by the many leaves, but Scyther easily cut all of the leaf.
"Scyther Double Team," Simran commands Scyther to make many copies of itself. "Now use Air Slash." As Simran commands, Scyther starts attacking by his razor-like hands on Leafeon, which harms him more.
Azlan looks, the battle is going out of his hand, then an idea comes inside of his mind. "Leafeon, use Giga Drain on all the copies." Leafeon does as Azlan said, and is able to take the energy from the copies of Scyther and destroy them, and also snatch the energy from the real Scyther.
"Now, use the Razor Leaf." Leafeon uses the Razor Leaf at the near of Scyther, which causes it to hit the Scyther rapidly, and the Scyther falls on the ground, with his eyes swirling.
"And the Scyther is unable to battle, winner is Leafeon, Red side trainer sends your last Pokemon." Referee said with raising his the flag towards the Azlan's side.
"You also give your best, now rest well, and leave everything on Bellsprout," Simran replied as she threw back her last Pokeball, which revealed the grass stem flower Pokemon.
"Leafeon, use Tackle," Azlan commanded Leafeon to strike with his full force at Bellsprout. But Bellsprout easily dodged it. Which causes Leafeon to harm itself. Leafeon tried two-three more times to harm the Bellsprout, but he was unable to make a single hit.
"Bellsprout, use Razor Leaf," Simran commanded, Bellsprout fired the blades of leaf towards the Leafeon, which perfectly hit the Leafeon and knocked him out.
"Leafeon is unable to battle, Green side trainer sends your next Pokemon." Referee raised the flag toward Simran.
"You did very well, Leafeon, Lucario, take the stage," Azlan said, and Lucario jumped from beside him on the stage.
"Bellsprout use Tackle." Simran command. Bellsprout kicks Lucario with her legs, but her hit does not show any effect on Lucario. "Bellsprout, use Razor Leaf." Simran orders another attack. Bellsprout fired the blade of leaves, but before it collided with Lucario, it just collided with the Aura Shield.
Simran told Bellsprout to continue using Tackle, but again, it's not have any effect. "Lucario, use the Body Slam," Azlan commands as Lucario jumps on the Bellsprout and puts his all body on her while slamming her down.
"Finish with Aura Sphere." Lucario gathered the Aura in his hands, and fired on the Bellsprout, making her fall on the ground, and her eyes showed swirling.
"Amazing folks, one more time, the trainer Azlan Starwind claimed his third victory, since Simran has lost all of her Pokemon, so she lost his match, and Azlan was qualified for the fourth round." Referee declared and the whole stadium erupted in cheer.
Azlan and Simran both shook each other's hand, and said to each other that they both did as well. And just like previous time, Azlan didn't get affected by the game, as he calmly exited the stadium and reached his room, where his wife congratulated him, and celebrated with him.
Next Day, Azlan goes for his last match on the Icy Field, he is going to battle a man named Peter Parker. As he was going towards the Ice field, he finds that Ash's rival Gary Oak has lost in the last of the Primellary Battle. Gary was frustrated by his defeat, so he returned to Pallet Town. While Ash has advanced in the next round.
"This is a final qualifying match between Peter Parker from Viridian City and Azlan Starwind. Let's see who is going in the top 16, or who is going to get out of the tournament. Our famous Azlan, or Peter Parker. This is a three on three. All clauses are in effect. Once one trainer loses all their Pokemon, then I will declare the winner. Trainer sends out your first Pokemon," Referee announced.
"Go, Dewgong," Peter said after throwing his Pokeball, which revealed the Dolphin Pokemon.
"Charizard, take the stage," Azlan commanded, and the Charizard jumped on the stage.
"Dewgong, attack by Ice Beam." Peter commands. Dewgong releases the beam of Ice.
"Charizard, dodge it and attack with a Dragon Tail." Charizard dodge the last moment of Ice Beam, his tail glows, and with his tail, he hits the Dewgong, because she was busy attacking.
"Continue with Dragon Rage," Azlan command and Charizard release the shocks which hit the Dewgong, Dewgong already has not recovered from her last attack, and then, this attack knocks her out.
"Amazing folks, one time again, the trainer has surprised us, Dewgong is unable to battle, Red side Trainer, please send out your next Pokemon" Referee announced, raising the green flag toward Azlan.
"Cloyster, I choose you," Peter said and released his Shell Pokemon.
"Charizard, Body Slam," Azlan commanded, and Charizard captured the Cloyster and prepared to slam him.
"Cloyster Ice Beam," Peter quickly ordered, and Cloyster released the beam of ice. Which perfectly hit the Charizard and he collapsed on the ground. Everyone thinks he is knocked out, and loses the battle, as the Referee was ready to announce that he is defeated.
But the Charizard once again stood up, and he was ready for the battle, "Once again Body Slam." Charizard slams the Cloyster, and Cloyster faints. "Like we see, once again, Cloyster is unable to battle, the winner is Charizard, Red side trainer, please send your last Pokemon." Referee declared by rising the flag Azlan side.
"Arcanine I choose you," Peter said and threw his Pokeball, which revealed the fire type tiger. Azlan quickly ordered, didn't give any time to Arcanine, adjusted the situation, "Charizard, Seismic Toss."
Charizard caught the Arcanine, and flew upwards, then after some hits, he flew downside, and with his full force, threw the Arcanine in the ground. Arcanine collided from the heavy height to Icy Ground, and collapsed on the ground with his eyes swirling.
"Amazing folks, oncs more time, the trainer Azlan Starwind of Pallet Town claims his final Primellary battle. And with it he secured his place in the Top 16," Referee declared and all the stadium erupted in claps and whistlings.
Azlan returned back to Pokemon Centre after winning the fourth round, and now he just needs to win four more times, first he reached top 8 in the quarter finals, then semifinals and finally the finals, and he became the winner, if he continuously won.

Meanwhile Ash has also won the tournament, and he reached the top 16, but for a few days, he was having a weird dream.
He was seeing the dream about a Pokemon Mewtwo, and the Legendary Pokemon Mew, both have fired their Psyshock. Ash ran between their attack, shouting, to stop the battle, but he was unable to do anything and then Mewtwo attacked him with his Psyshock. It shocked him, and Ash awoke from his dream.
Because, he never remembered of this dream. He not know, it is really happy to him, or going to happen. He thought, maybe this is going to happen, so he needed to be prepared for this. Misty and Brock also find out Ash is behaving very weird.
