Just like Dusk Rainbow was reaching the castle with record time with her speed. Just like in the air she was quite fast on the ground from out of nowhere,an unknown woman appeared in front her. Causing Rainbow to come to an abrupt stop. Huh? How did you get here? The unknown woman was silent,and Dash notice she had wings. But her wings were more leathery and curved than normal feather wings. Who are you? Besides her unusual batlike wings, the unknown woman wore a pair of googles over her neck. She also wore according to Rainbow Dash has black altered uniform of the WonderBolts, who wore blue uniforms with yellow thunder stripes. The young woman uniform was a dark indigo and with the same yellow thunder stripes on it.Tge unkown batwing woman looked. Rainbow but not sinisterly,and Spoke. I am Night Shade.I saw you running and noticed you had wings. She said. Yeah so…. Replied Dash in usual mannerisms. So I thought you might interested in a little flying race. Night Shade told her. This peaked Rainbows interest but she was still suspicious as she told her. I might be interested in the race but where to exactly? Well let's fly up and I'll show you. Up in the night air Night Shade pointed to where the they'll be racing. We'll be racing over there to where the bridge connects to old castle. Hmmmm. Dash thought. Alight. She told Night Shade. "Hell yeah! Rainbow yelled. As the wind wiped at her face. Looking behind Dash saw Night Shade was keeping up with her. Which cased Rainbow to flapped wings harder. Looking behind she saw Night Shade a few meters behind her but, she was smiling and didn't seem upset she was losing the race. What's her deal? Rainbow thought as she looked forward and realized she was about to hit a tree branch which she narrowly missed. With this she heard Night Shade laughing as she said to her. Better watch where you're flying. This caused the proclaimed fastest flyer to become annoyed but, also more focused as they neared the old stone bridge which was the finish line. Taking a last minute glimpse of her opponent who was still closely behind but giving her that eery smile. After Rainbow won she stated a little dance. As she and Night Shade flew . Oh yeah. Further more who are these people? And why do they have Batwings? Well.. Dash explained they're the Shadow Bolts. Shadow Bolts? I've heard of the Wonder Bolts,but never the Shadow Bolts. Said Pinkie. Well.. Night Shade told them we're the greatest aerial acrobatics in the Ever Free Forest. So tell me. N.S told Dash. Will you give up this foolish errand,against Nightmare Moon and join us to be the leader on our team? Yeah. Said the male Shadow Bolt. Yeah you said your the fastest and greatest. Daid the look alike Hearing this Apple Jack said. Rainbow No! Don't do this. Suddenly Dash voice said. Yeah. As it looked like she was about to join them by shanking Night shades hand but,unexpectedly. Rainbow grabbed her wrist instead. Huh? N.S said confused. As Dash placed her other hand on her arm as Dash said. Yeah right. As she flung Night Shade into the air and back hard on the ground. Grab her. The female Shadow Bolt said. But Rarity had her wand out and zapped them with her magic. However upon being deduce both turned into a dark mist. Including Night Shade herself,as the dark mist destroyed the bridge before heading into the castle. Seeing this Apple Jack said. More of Nightmare's trickery. Glad you didn't abandon us Rainbow. She told,her. Uh guys. Fluttershy told everyone. How are we going to get across? No worries. Rarity I teleport us across. Not this time. Dash said as she grabbed. Apple Jack. Hey what are you doing? A.J asked. Relax. Rainbow told her. Hey Fluttershy's why why don't you grab Pinkie so we can get over to the castle. Ummm alright. As they both flew. Wow this amazing. Said Pinkie . Alright I guess I'll just teleport myself than. Rarity said as her wand glowed. On the other side Rainbow. Asked Fluttershy where Rarity went off too,but before she could answer Rarity appeared as she teleported herself as she abruptly fell on her butt. Seeing this Rainbow snickered. An irritated Rarity said. See? I told you I could teleport without trouble. Yeah just keep telling yourself that. Dash replied. Alright enough foolin we need to get to Dusk before somthin bad happens to him and we're going help him "together". Understood?

I'm sure Dusk might know if we ever find him and save him from his foolish attempt to go fight Nightmare Moon solo. Though I would like to know why he would ever attempt to do something so foolish. Hearing this Fluttershy thought of what Spike told her. The struggles that Dusk dealt with when he was young,must have caused him to have a negative outlook on life. You okay Flutters?
