Once in my room, I contemplated the events of the past days. It was crazy to me how my time in Skyrim was ridden by so much struggle and strife. As if the divines were toying with me. I gritted my teeth at the thought of me on strings and some divine being pulling them. * For all this strife, I am glad things seem to go my way for once.*
I thought as I began to undress. But my mind couldn't stay of Serana and the look she gave me.
*She looked so hurt by my expression maybe I should go and talk to her... But, no, that wouldn't be right. She took her own room.* I thought while pacing the room.
Meanwhile, Serana wasn't precisely tired either in the other room. Her mind raced as she kept seeing Dracar's disgusted gaze. *I shouldn't have done that. Now he hates me even more... And I thought we were finally getting along better.* She thought as she also paced her room. * Maybe I should go to him he looked so sad when I left him there.* As Serana was about to walk to her and she opened it.
I decided that I wanted to set things straight and walked out of my room. Forgetting that I wasn't dressed that earned me a few glares from the patrons in the inn and a few women excitingly whispering. As I neared Serana's room, I wanted to open the door, but it was opened before me. I was greeted with Serana looking a bit surprised. A small smile curved her lips. " Hey Dracar, what brings you here?" She asked me.
* Better not let him know I was about to come to him. That just sounds weak.*
I shifted in place a little as I looked towards the ground. " Uhm, this whole thing just didn't seem right with me. I just wanted to see if you were okay..."
Serana, a sweet smile crossed her lips before it faded, and she began to laugh. I looked at her with a questioning gaze. " What is it ?"
Serana looked at me amused " do you wanna come in. Everybody is looking at your undergarments." She replied with a delightful grin on her face.
I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I noticed my current clothing situation and hurried inside her room. She closed the door behind us and proceeded to look at me with an amusing smirk. " So is this how you decide to make up with somebody? Just come to a woman's room half-naked and expect everything to be okay, huh?" She said while eyeing me up and down. It was making me more aware of my lack of clothing.
" W...would you stop eyeing me up and down like that!" I stammered out as I looked for a blanket to cover myself.
Serana looked at me seductively as she proceeded to inch closer. " What you present me with such a nice view and then say I can't enjoy it, not fair, Dracar." She purred, which made me shudder. I couldn't shake the fact that somehow this woman was making me lose composure so quickly. I usually resist these kinds of advances, but with her, I just couldn't get a grip.
My heart rate skyrocketed as I felt her nail track from my chest to my neck, up towards my collarbone I shivered at her soft touch. I felt heat rising to my cheeks, a familiar feeling since I began to spend time with the female vampire. " What's the matter, Dracar.. you seem a bit flustered." She purred, inching even closer.
My mind raced even harder then my heart was beating as I felt her palms pressed on my chest. As she inched closer to my face. " BOO." She yelled as she pushed me on the bed.
" whoaaa!" I yelped as I connected with the bed. Serana began to laugh loudly. Her melodic laughter was like a song to my ears.
" Okay, I have had my revenge. We are okay again." She cheekily said as a smirk crossed her face.
" Ugh, I hate you. Would you stop teasing me for two hours?" I groaned as I got up.
" Never, it is just too much entertainment for me." She replied as she smirked. " Now, get to your room. We have a big journey tomorrow."
I nodded as I shook my head and left the room. My mind is still racing from the intimate moment. * God damn, that woman is a succubus.* I thought to myself as I entered my room.
Meanwhile, Serana was holding her chest. Her heart felt like it could burst out of her chest. * That was a close one I could barely contain myself... I really need to feed.* She thought as she could feel her vampiric hunger coming up.
The following day came, and I woke up from a good night's rest. I proceeded to get ready, put my Dawnguard armor back on, and strapped my crossbow and shield. Sighing as it felt really uncomfortable to wear all this luggage, but it kept me safe so that I couldn't complain. I made my way over to Serena's room. I knocked on her room. " Serana, are you ready? I will prepare the horses and pay alright." A groan was heard from the room, which brought a smile to my face. " Okay sleepy head, I will see you soon."
I walked over towards the innkeeper, paid him twenty septims for our stay, and asked if he could pack a meal for us. he nodded and handed me two meals for the road. I thanked him and went outside. The horses were drinking some water from a trog, and I gave them some hay as I packed my stuff on the saddle. The sun was rising in the east and left a beautiful sight before me. Skyrim's scenery never seemed to bore me as I took in the sun's rays.
Moments later, a sleepy Serana joined me outside.
" You ready, princess? I already prepared your horse for you." I said while smirking at her. She looked at me annoyed and mounted the horse.
"It is early. Why are you in such a hurry?" She groaned as we proceeded to ride away. I smiled at her.
" I don't think your father will rest either before he has his hands on that scroll again," I remarked as I kept my eyes on the road. Serana groaned again, which made me smile again. " Can't we take a day off for a change? We have been riding and doing missions for days upon days." She groaned again as she looked at me, annoyed.
" Awh, is it too much for the princess to handle," I replied as I thought I would get back at her a bit while she was like this. " Or do you want me to undress for you again?" I purred at her, which made her choke on her food.
We rode in silence for two hours, giving Serana the chance to wake up a little. And the both of us to enjoy the scenery, I decided to break the silence. " Say serana, how did you become a vampire? I can't recall you telling me." I asked her as I looked towards her but what I saw was not the Serana I knew. She began to tense up as she looked towards the ground.
" I uh its a sensitive subject." She stuttered as her words were no longer confident but weak and fragile. Then, realizing my mistake, I decided to switch the subject.
" So, what was your childhood like? Sorry if this is sensitive again, but I would like to get to know you." I quickly said before I touched a sensitive subject again.
She sighed. "It's fine Dracar, I didn't have the most normal of childhood's, but it was okay, I guess. We were quite a happy family before my father went mad..." She said the last part was a bit softer.
I decided to focus on the happy parts. " Ah, a happy little family of vampires, how lovely who wouldn't want that. So what did you like to do? " I replied, which earned me a look from Serana.
" well, actually, my mother and I used to tend to a garden. It is my most fond memory of her. Before, she also went a bit shady and always shooed me away." She explained as she smiled bitterly.
I began to laugh. " You tending to a garden somehow, I find that hard to believe." She looked me in the eye, dead serious. " I know enough of a lot of plants, and some make you sleepy, some paralyze you momentarily*perfect*." She replied with a dangerous glint in her eyes. I gulped a little as I looked away.
" And for the most part, my childhood was quite normal. The only thing I lacked were friends..." She continued.
I felt pretty sorry for her. She had an abusive father, and something terrible happened to her to become a vampire. I can only imagine what. And to grow up without friends, I probably can't fathom how lonely she must have been.
" You have one now, Serana," I replied with a sweet smile. * What am I thinking, friends with a vampire? I must be out of my mind!* A little voice in my head protested, but I shove the thought back. Serana looked at me with a sweet smile which made my heart flutter as a slight tint of red crossed her cheeks.
" You better be! Because you are not getting rid of my mister, teasing you has become my favorite pastime." She replied as she winked at me seductively.
I almost didn't realize it, but the sun was already setting on us. We had talked for a while. I glanced at Serana, and she was yawning as she looked back at me. "Tired are we now ?" I asked with an amused smile on my face.
" Yeah, a bit." She replied, holding her hand in front of her mouth. " Uhm Dracar... I have to tell you something."
I looked at her with a quirked eyebrow, as her tone was soft and low. " What is it ?"
" I need to feed..." She said in a low whisper.
The words shocked me, and I realized all the while we were together, she never fed on anyone. Flashbacks of her tearing into Malkus came back to me as images of her draining an innocent person.
" You can't!" I commanded in a low, hoarse voice. She looked at me, a bit shocked and surprised. " But if I Don't, I will starve! Do you want me to starve?!" She yelled at me.
" I am sorry, Serana. I can't let you hurt anyone." I shot back, which earned me an hurt, angry look from Serana. " It won't even hurt them. They will be sound asleep. I can't believe you! after all this time, and you still resent me for what I am! I am a vampire, and I need to feed if you like it or not!" She replied in pure rage as she stormed off with her superhuman speed. I tried to run after her, but she was too fast for me.
I saw that she was running towards a farm and bolted towards it as fast as I could. After a while of sprinting at top speed, I finally made it there. I began looking for Serana, which I saw nowhere. * How could I be so stupid? Of course, she needs to feed!* I thought while my mind raced. Then I thought of a plan I wouldn't let her feed on others, so she had to feed on me.
As I turned the next corner, I sighed in relief as I saw her standing there, arms crossed and kicking a rock away.
" I wasn't going to do it. You can relax now." She said in a low whisper. I, in turn, said nothing and pulled out my knife, which earned me a dangerous glare. After that, I just looked at her and sliced my arm. She looked at me, shocked. " Are you sure?" She asked as she approached me slowly, her senses taking over a bit.
" Just do it. I am losing blood." I replied as I looked away. She grabbed my arm softly and put her warm lips on the wound, which made me shudder, and began to suck the blood. After she was done, she cast a healing spell on the injury. I could feel the warmth of it as the wound closed up.
* Whoah, this is delicious. What power in his blood! I have never tasted something like this before!* Serana thought to herself as she slipped out a soft moan.
We looked at each other in silence, and Serana was the first to speak up. " Thank you..." She said softly as her beautiful red eyes stared at mine.
" It's okay. I shouldn't have made such a big deal out of it. I am sorry." I replied with a hint of shame. " Yeah, you were a huge dick." She replied as she crossed her arms.
" Come, let's get out of here and find a place to sleep," I said as I walked away from the farm.
We searched for a suitable place to sleep away from the main road as we got back to the horses. We made our camp not that far away, and I gathered some wood for a fire. Casting a fire spell on it, the fire was made quickly.
Grabbing my sleeping bag from the horse, I laid it next to the fire. And Serana was sitting on a log across from me, playing with a stick poking it in the fire.
" Hey, Serana," I said, getting her attention.
" What is it, Dracar?" She replied, looking at me with a smile.
I was going to regret this, but I did it anyway. " If you are ever hungry, just tell me, okay, and I Will let you feed," I told her, cringing a little at my words. Never would I have thought that I would let a vampire feed on me willingly.
" That is really considerate of you, Dracar. Lucky for you, I don't have to feed as often as others." She replied while keeping her gaze on the fire.
" Yeah, why is that? Other vampires would have gone feral." I asked her. She kept her gaze on the fire.
" Well, it has to do with how I was turned. Are you familiar with Lamea ball?" She asked me.
" Yeah, a little that was the first-ever vampire, right?" I replied, now getting quite interested.
" Yeah, that's right, well, she had to undergo a ritual to make her a vampire. That's why she was so powerful." She replied, still gazing into the flames, her expression unchanging.
" What kind of ritual?" I asked her, getting more intrigued.
" You are familiar with the deadric lord Molag Bal?" She said his name with spite which made me think back to what she said earlier today.
" Yeah, I am. So what does he have to do with her becoming a vampire?" I asked her with a quirked eyebrow.
" Well, as you might or might not know, vampirism is a curse. And Molag Ball is the one that brought it into the mortal world. However, when he turns a woman into a vampire, she has to go into a very degrading ritual in which he rapes her relentlessly. And that woman will, in turn, become a daughter of Cold Harbor with unimaginable power..." She replied in a sad tone.
I looked at her, shocked* it couldn't be right. Did she become a vampire-like that? What sick fuck would put their daughter through that trauma.* I thought to myself, shocked to the core. I was looking at Serana with sympathy.
" Is that how you..." I asked her. She just nodded, gazing into the flames, her eyes devoid of any emotions.
" Serana, I am so sorry. How could your parents do that to you." I said with a hint of worry and anger at her parents.
" Well, we were deadra worshippers, and we all had to do it. I don't regret it; however, it gave me power, and in the end, I met you because of it..." She replied, finally looking at me with a weak smile. I gazed into her eyes. They were full of sadness. I felt really sorry for her, but something in me was happy she told me that.
"I am glad I met you as well, Serana. You are a strange one, but I like your company," I replied, smiling at her. She gave me one of her sweet smiles again.
" Again, you are not going to get rid of me even if you want to. We are stuck now. And after I tasted your delicious blood, I am never going to let you go." She replied, licking her lips, making me shudder at the thought.
" You are a crazy woman Serana," I said as I frowned at her. She began to laugh as she put up a charade of crazy faces. " You mean like this?" She replied. I laughed a little at her antics before a big yawn left my mouth.
" Let's get some sleep, shall we? Tomorrow we can probably make it towards Whiterun." I said as I lay my head on my backpack.
" Yeah, that sounds good," Serana replied as she also laid down.
The following day came, and we packed our stuff and continued our journey. After a while of riding, we came across Rorickstead, and a familiar sound chilled my bones. Serana looked at me, surprised. " What was that sound? It sounds huge."
" Dragon," I replied before riding off as fast as I could. Serana was left there dumbfounded before following me. I looked up at the sky, scanning it for the Dragon. I spotted it coming from the mountains.
" What are you doing? Shouldn't we be running or something!" Serana yelled at me. I, in turn, didn't reply as I felt my blood boil. Every fiber of my body told me to heed her advice and run, but something in me just couldn't resist the challenge. I rode away from the village, its inhabitants running around in panic. I turned towards the DragonDragon and mustered all my power from within, and with a thundering sound, I shouted at it.
** Fus**
The thundering sound of the shout filled the valley as the shockwave shot towards the Dragon. It was finally turning its attention towards me instead of the town.
Serana approached me. " Now we got its attention. What are you planning to do?"
I looked at her stoic. " Fight it." She looked at me, shocked but got off her horse anyway.
The Dragon swooped down at us, its fiery breath leaving scorch marks on the ground. As he spits its fire at us, we evaded the flaming inferno. I unsheathed my crossbow and aimed for its wings—the bolt connected with its wing but didn't shake the beast.
It just turned around and spat its fire at us again.
" Serana, shoot his wings! We need to get it down to the ground!" I yelled at her. While I was hiding behind a rock, my heart rate skyrocketing. But the thrill of the fight made me feel alive like I never felt before.
Serana nodded and mustered up a colossal lightning spell as she turned it towards the Dragon. A giant beam of lightning left her hands, connecting with the beast's wing sending it spiraling towards the ground.
" Good job! Now comes the hard part killing it." I told her.
" You are crazy!" She replied.
The Dragon stomped towards us with every step it took. The ground shook. Serana and I circled it, but to my surprise and shock, it turned towards Serana, spitting an inferno at her.
"SERANA!" I yelled as I saw her getting engulfed by the flames. I ran past the side of the Dragon, which slapped me away with its tail.
Air left my body as I was smacked a few feet away. I was connecting with a rock which made me spit out blood. The force of the impact probably caused some internal bleeding.
But from here, I could see that Serana was just barely holding the beast's fiery breath back with a warding spell. I sighed in relief as I slowly got up. I unsheathed my cross ow and aimed for the Dragon's eye. It was a clean hit as the Dragon roared out in agony.
It tried stomping away, but I was quick on my feet, jumping on its back. Sticking my knife in its back as it slowly made my way up to its body towards its head. The Dragon jerked and roared, but it was to no avail. As I made my way up, I stuck Nightbane through its skull.
The Dragon collapsed to the ground with a loud thump. As dirt flew in the air, I stood on top of his body and screamed loudly. Serana looked at me in awe as she saw me standing on top of the Dragon's body.
* Just how strong is he.* She thought as she looked shocked as to what happened next. The Dragon disintegrated into nothing but bones. And what seemed to be its essence flew into my body.
I felt a strong feeling again, and I could swear that I was getting stronger with every Dragon I defeated. As my injury from just before was gone already. I made my way towards Serana which just barely managed to keep her mouth from gaping.
" You did good, Serana this one was much stronger than the ones before. I don't think I could have killed it by myself." I told her as I caught my breath.
" What are you?!" Serana replied as she looked at me, shocked. " You just consumed its soul !"
I looked at her funny her expression was priceless. " The guards at Whiterun called me Dragonborn, whatever that means," I said sheepishly, scratching the back of my head.
Serana wanted to reply but was interrupted by the horde of villagers running towards us. Leading us back towards Rorickstead, they showed us towards the inn where I was congratulated probably a hundred times. And patted on the back, even more, some girls were trying to make their move on me, but Serana dangerous aura kept them away. Some brave ones still tried, though, earning themselves a glare from Serana that scared even me.
" Protective of me, aren't you now, huh?" I said as I decided to tease her. She looked at me a bit flustered as she quickly looked away.
" They aren't worthy of you, and they just want to bed you because they feel saved." She replied with a jealous tone.
I closed in on her, my mouth close to her ear. " None of them compare to you anyway," I whispered in a husky voice. And I noticed her shiver a bit.
As the party in the inn raged on, people became drunker and paid less attention towards us. Finally, we made our way towards a quiet table and sat down.
Serana turned her attention to me. " That was really dangerous, you know." She told me as she looked worried.
" I know... When that DragonDragon engulfed you in its flames, I thought I had lost you." I replied in a soft whisper.
" I would have if it wasn't for your blood from last night." She replied, playing with her mug.
" Well, that makes me regret it a little less." I teasingly replied.
She nudged me a little and then turned serious. " Dracar, it seemed you didn't quite know what a Dragonborn is." She said, quirking her eyebrow. Looking at me questioning.
" I know Tiber septim was a Dragonborn, but I don't know what it entails," I replied as I took a sip of my ale.
" A Dragonborn has the ability to kill a Dragon by absorbing its soul. That's what happened back there, making you more powerful with each DragonDragon you kill. " Serana proceeded to explain.
* It all made a bit more sense now the powerful feeling I get and my blood boiling every time I come in touch with them. Curse the divines for this wicked fate, though.* I thought to myself as I took another sip.
" That explains a lot," I replied.
Serana looked at me, a bit worried. " The divines really must like and hate you." She said as she smiled at me a little.
" Tell me about it; they have been toying with me since the start. I feel like their little plaything." I replied, frowning at my fate, fighting vampires, and also getting the ability to kill dragons which aren't a pushover either.
Serana nudged me playfully. " Lucky for you, they threw me on your path. You would have been a Dragonborn without ahead if it wasn't for me." She exclaimed proudly.
" Yeah, and draining me of my blood," I said, teasing her, which earned me a slap from her.
I looked around the inn and decided we had to move on. We had more to do.
" Shall we get out of here?" I asked her, and she nodded. We waved our goodbyes and decided to hire a carriage towards riften.
The carriage driver asked us where to go and kept looking at Serana, which somehow made me feel a bit angry.
" Do you want to sit in the front fair lady?" He asked her. Serana happily agreed as she mounted the carriage. I tied our horses on the back of the carriage, letting them trail behind it.
We took off, and all along the journey, Serana conversed with the carriage driver about Skyrim's politics and other stuff. I dozed off when we were halfway past Whiterun and was awoken by the carriage grinding to a halt. It was late in the afternoon, and the familiar sight of Riften's walls greeted me. The town was still in disrepair, but building crews were busy repairing the damaged buildings.
We mounted our horses and made our way towards dayspring canyon. We made our way through the canyon and were greeted with the familiar sight of the waterfall and castle Dawnguard.
Serana spoke up as we were making our way towards the palisade wall. " Do you really think that moth priest can read the scroll?"
" I surely hope so, or else we would have done all this for nothing," I replied, frowning at the thought of all this hard work for nothing.
The guards at the palisade greeted us and opened the gate. " The moth priest is inside with Isran." They told us as we moved up towards the castle.
Making our way into the castle, we were greeted with Isran Durak and Dexicon conversing about how we saved the Dexicon.
Dexicon turned towards us. " Ah, Dracar and Serana. How good to see you two again. Shall I read that scroll for you guys now?" The man asked us reaching his hands out excitingly.
Serana handed him the scroll, and the man sat down. Isran then turned towards us. " What took you guys so long to get back?"
"It's quite the long story, Isran. I will brief you after the moth priest is done," I replied as I turned my attention back towards the moth priest.
The man proceeded to read the open the scroll and read it.
" It says something about a prophecy and an eternal night, also about vampires and how they can walk in the sun. There is not anything more in her. It isn't complete." The man explained as he read the scroll.
" It said something about other scrolls. You will have to find them so I can completely decipher the text."
" Great more work..." I replied, " And do you have any idea where to find those scrolls."
" I might have an idea where we can start looking," Serana replied.
" Speak," Isran said.
Serana scoffed at the man. " Maybe in the college of Winterhold, we might find a few clues."
" That's a good start, Serana! You young ones also could go ask the greybeards atop the throat of the world. They have a monastery there with a lot of ancient knowledge." Dexicon replied.
" Well, it seems you two got a lot to do. Get it done." Isran said with authority evident in his voice.
" Can I keep the scroll for a little while longer? I'd like to study it!" Dexicon asked Serana.
Serana smiled at the man.
" Of course you can." She replied.
Isran touched my shoulder. "Good job Dracar, will you come to my study to brief me?" He asked me as he walked off.
" Of course," I replied as I made my way over towards Serana which was busy conversing with Dexicon about vampirism.
I touched her shoulder. "Come, we need to brief Isran."
Serana groaned. " Do we have to? That man is a nightmare to deal with." She exclaimed, which made me smile a little.
" He is, but at least he is determined," I replied as we made our way towards Isran's quarters.
" You could wait out here if you want to," I told Serana.
" You don't have to tell me twice." She replied as she began leaning on the wall.
I made my way into Isran's quarters and began explaining to him what happened on our journey. He frowned a bit at the part where the empire attacked Riften. And was surprised to hear about Dragon'sDragon's plaguing the land. "Really, dragons are back in Skyrim. The times really are weird. And you a Dragonborn, you said? I must give it to Durak. He really knows how to pick them." Isran said.
I wanted to reply but was interrupted by Serana opening the door in a panic.
"Come quick. Something has happened to the moth priest!" She yelled. Isran and I looked at each other and quickly made our way down towards Dexicon.
" What's the matter?!" Isran said, worried. As the sight before us didn't seem promising.
Dexicon stood before us with a bandage in front of his eyes. I could not imagine what happened as I frowned at the bandage in front of his eyes.
" Uhmm." The man stuttered. " I tried to reread the Scroll in my excitement, forgetting to prepare myself as I have never seen a scroll before. And without proper preparation, elder scrolls can blind you. And that's what happened..." The man sheepishly said as he scratched the back of his head.
" What !? How are we supposed to read the others if we can find them." I replied, facepalming at our luck.
" Well, my sight can come back, but it may take months..." Dexicon explained.
" That's just great.." Isran replied. " We don't have that long.."
" Just continue finding those scrolls, and I will find out a way to read them," Dexicon replied.
After that whole ordeal, Serana and I made our way up to our quarters.
" Where do you wanna start?" Serana asked me as she sat down on a chair.
" We should go to the greybeards, and they can also explain a bit more about my powers as a Dragonborn. We might encounter more dragons, and I want to be prepared." I replied, grimacing at the thought of fighting them. They scare me almost as much as vampires do.
" That is a good plan, Dracar. We should be as prepared as we can. And you need to be as powerful as you can when we eventually face my father." She said. I cringed at the thought of fighting her father, especially if he takes that terrifying form.
I nodded at Serana. " Fate really is a strange thing, huh. Putting us together like this a vampire and a vampire hunter. Becoming friends and fighting evil." I told Serana, laughing a bit.
" Two adventures on adventurers," Serana replied, smiling sweetly.
" Two adventurers are exploring the world." I corrected her. She got flustered a bit by that.
" Yeah, two adventurers are exploring the whole world." She repeated it softly as to rehearse and plant the thought in her mind.
" We should get some rest because tomorrow we will have to get back to Whiterun again. I swear if I don't know every nook and cranny of Skyrim by the end of this, I'm going to hurt someone." I exclaimed, putting my hands in the air.
" Well, it is in good company," Serana said, winking at me. "Can't you tame one of those overgrown lizards, flying sounds like a good alternative!" Serana said with a cheeky smile on her face.
I laughed at the thought of a dragon with reigns in his mouth.
" That would be useful," I replied, amused.
After a while of conversing with each other, Serana stood up to grab a book to read. And I rummaged through the bookcase as well, looking for something on Dragonborns.
I was smiling a little when I found a book about Tiber septim. I proceeded to read through it and, after a while, heard Serana humming a song.
" Serana, what song are you humming all the time?" I asked her interested.
"It is a little song my mother always sung to me. Want me to sing it to you?" She asked me.
I shake my head excitedly, and Serana began to laugh a little before she started.
*Old Stone Walls
Towering over the sea
By the candlelight
High up shining brightly
All alone
Sitting in the bay window
Tear stained eyes
And the waves crash below
Old Stone Walls
Deep down in the dark
Long lost hopes
And secrets sealing my heart
But then, you were there
Reaching out your hand
And just for a moment
I was brought to life again
Old Stone Walls
I've seen so many now
Tales and stories
And the joy of being dragged around
Your smile so bright
I could go blind
But that's okay
If you stay by my side
Cold dripping leather
The smell of rain
You fast asleep
As I study your face
Old Stone Walls
They don't hold me anymore
I'm happy where I am
In the grip of your arms*
As she concluded, I was awestruck. Her voice was so pure and beautiful. Her melodic voice sung every word beautifully.
" Woah, Serana, that was amazing... I didn't know you could sing like that!" I said excitedly.
She began to blush a bit.
" Thank you, Dracar.." she said as she smiled at me sweetly, which made my heart skip a beat again. " But something bugs me a bit. This sounds a lot like a love song." I replied.
She gazed into my eyes. " Who knows." She replied mysteriously.
I quirked my eyebrow at her a little but decided to let it slip.
* Damn, he almost noticed it.* She thought to herself as she stared at me reading my book.
