Finding the ancient Dwemer fortress was easy finding the correct entrance to it proved more challenging. Serana and I had made our way to the glaziers housing the ruins of the Alftand upper fortress.

It had the typical gray deeprock architecture that the Dwemer used adorned with the typical golden metal the Dwarfs used to decorate their buildings. Half-sunken buildings lay before us snowed under by centuries of snowfall and glaziers pushing the buildings to near breaking point.

A few forward encampments were built with rickety wooden walkways connecting the fallen buildings to each other. We had entered a few but found that most of them had caved in or the entryways to the deeper parts had been made inaccessible due to the landslides.

We had started to lose hope to find an entryway to the deeper parts. As we suddenly stumbled upon a rift in the glaziers which excreted steam.

"That looks promising," Serana remarked.

I nodded as we headed to the crevice in the ice.

We were met with tight corners and turns which we quickly navigated eager to exit the cold environment. We turned a few corners before hearing muffled voices I motioned for Serana to come closer as we silently proceeded further.

Through a crack in the ice, I could make out a khaijit arguing with himself.

"J'zharr I told you it was your fault we are trapped, trapped I tell you, you wouldn't listen now look what that has brought you." The khaijit rambled he seemed to be in a crazed state I figured he suffered from skooma withdrawal.

"Is there a way we can avoid him?" Serana whispered.

"I don't think so, he seems to suffer from skooma withdrawal if we turn the next corner we probably have to fight him," I whispered back.

"We never should have come here J'zharr these walls are closing in on us. And those white beasts might return if they hurt us J'zharr." The khaijit rambled on.

We decided to face the inevitable as we couldn't wait here for the rest of eternity.

Serana made the first move as she rounded the corner with me following closely. Our presence startled the khaijit who grabbed a woodcutter's axe he looked malnourished and weak as he gazed at us with a fearful expression.

"What's this? J'darr will not be captured again. No no not again arhhh!" The crazed khaijit screamed as he ran towards Serana.

Serana nimbly avoided the wild slashes of the khaijit. As she ducked under another one of the khaijit's vicious slashes she planted her knife in his chest making him fall to his knees. Frantically trying to stop the bleeding before falling to the ground.

"I am sorry..." Serana whispered as she closed the eyes of the khaijit.

I rubbed her shoulder.

"It couldn't be helped he wouldn't have seen any reason anyways. I have dealt with skooma addicts back in Cyrodill they are beyond reason when they withdraw." I said to Serana.

"That doesn't hide the fact his death was not necessary," Serana replied with a sad expression.

I saw the dead body of another khaijit laying just a few feet away.

"Looks like he didn't want to abandon his friend," I said pointing to the dead body.

"The way he talked about the stronghold worries me Dracar. It seemed like they came here with more people." Serana remarked worrisomely.

"We will be okay we got each other after all," I replied smiling at the female vampire.

Serana returned my smile before we continued on our journey. It wasn't long before the tight glazier walls opened up in a wide hallway adorned with the same Dwemer metal and broken pipes running all along the ceiling leaking its contents on the ground. The air was humid and a lot warmer than the outside.

We proceeded with caution as we didn't know what we would find in the Dwemer ruins moving ever so slowly through the large hallways. If I wasn't so cautious I would be amazed by the architecture it was a truly marvelous place and the fact that there the lamps were still working was impressive. The sounds of machinery turning and steam racing through the pipes filled the air.

"These Dwemer are something else it is impressive all these utilities still work," I remarked.

"Yeah, I agree I do wonder if they would still be around they would probably rule the entire world. Their ingenuity is breathtaking." Serana replied looking around her.

Walking deeper into the ruins we came across a crossroad two corridors leading to the left and right and one leading down deeper into the ruin.

I looked around me for an indication as to where to go this place was a maze. I saw some strange pipes with a round plate with a slit in the middle sealing it off.

"How strange," I remarked moving closer.

"Dracar don't touch anything!" Serana yelled at me however it was too late as the latch opened from which a spider like a construct jumped out.

It jumped right on top of me I luckily managed to hold up my shield just in time as its tendrils tried bashing into my face.

The strange thing had a soul gem planted in the middle of its (head) where above a red orb with moving parts around it sat.

The construct bashed down on my shield with incredible force. Luckily for me, Serana shot a thunderbolt aimed straight at its head making the soul gem explode.

I sighed in relief as Serana helped me up.

"That was a goddamn close one!" I yelled.

"I told you to watch out, didn't I! This is not the time or the place to get curious this entire place is rigged with booby traps and murderous constructs you have to be careful." Serana yelled worried as she scolded me.

"You are right I am sorry to make you worry," I replied as I caressed her back.

"Just watch out from now on there is no telling what we find," Serana remarked as she glanced around her for more of the constructs.

"But why did they have to make something as vile as a spider? Luckily they are made of metal but still what was wrong with these people!" I remarked grimacing.

"Yeah, Dracar they made spiders just to scare you off, you idiot," Serana said with a scowl.

I just laughed it off and we decided to take the corridor that led further down. If we were to believe Septimus Blackreach was a huge cavern so it only made sense to go further down.

The hallway took us to a big open space giant pipes were pumping steam further down into the ruin. And more of those weird pipes with latches were placed against the walls of the room a big gate metal gate was placed at the end of the room.

"Well, shit we have to move past those things, there is no telling what will come out of those pipes now," I spoke up gritting my teeth.

"If you are lucky more of those spider things. Remember hit them in the middle of the head where the soul gem is that will kill them." Serana remarked before cautiously inching closer to the middle of the room.

Loud machinery sounds filled the air as she walked past the pipes. Four latches opened up spewing out round balls my eyes widened as they opened up revealing tall human-like statues armed with sharp sword-like arms and the other arm was a crossbow.

"Serana duck down!" I yelled, Serana did as instructed and duck down quickly rolling to the side.

fus ro dah*

The sound of my thu'me canceled out all of the machinery noises as the shockwave collided with the constructs blowing them into the gate. I was horrified to see them getting back up again shooting bolts that flew all around us.

Me and Serana ducked bobbed and weaved evading all the bolts as we tried to get closer.

The machines were however way faster than us as they closed the distance in an instant.

I held up my shield narrowly evading a new haircut.

Looking up from my shield I saw Serana shooting lightning bolts at one assailants as she held off the other with her knife.

This is bad. We aren't even that deep and this place is already so dangerous.* I thought to myself.

I narrowly evaded another slash from one of the constructs as I ducked down trying to plant Nightbane in the construct's chest which bounced off the metal.

"Shit shit shit," I said as I rolled under the slash of another construct.

The machines were something unlike any other we had fought against. They were fast calculated and ruthless they didn't tire and didn't bleed we had to find their weak spots and fast or we would die. As I looked beside me I saw Serana struggling just as much.

Ducking under another vicious attack I bashed my shield into the construct's head which popped open a latch revealing the construct's soul gem.

"There it is!" I yelled as I shoved my sword in the middle of its head shattering the soul gem and resulting in an explosion blowing both me and the other construct away.

"Dracar!!" Yelled.

I coughed up some blood as I slowly stood up.

"I'm okay Serana their heads you got to aim at their heads!" I screamed back as I got to my feet.

wuld nah kest*

I was propelled forward colliding shield first with the other construct bashing it into the wall. Due to its immense power, it managed to push me back but not before I had planted my sword in its head shattering another soul gem.

This time I made sure to roll away before the explosion. I heard two more explosions sighing in relief as I turned around seeing Serana had disposed of her assailants as well.

Serana and I looked at each other both catching our breath I saw that Serana had multiple cuts on her arms.

"Are you okay?" I asked with a worried tone.

"It is just a few scratches nothing serious. I can say the same thing about you, you were caught in an explosion." Serana replied with the same worried tone in her voice.

"Yeah, I am but after this, I promise you we are taking a break," I replied smiling at her through ragged breathing.

Serana smiled back at me.

"I will hold you on that promise."

We took a moment to recover and tend to our wounds before proceeding further this was not the time to rush things or we would be caught off guard and surely die.

After a few minutes of regaining our strength, we moved further into the ruins walking slowly and always on guard for the unexpected.

After a while of walking, I had the feeling we were being followed. I glanced around me and could faintly make out bare footsteps connecting on the stone a few feet away from us. I motioned to Serana to be silent as we hugged the back wall inching closer to the origin of the sound.

What we saw shocked me a morbid-looking creature was sniffing the air and making weird clicking noises. Its eye sockets were shut closed and its skin was a sickly white pointy ears who were a sickly red color were pointed high. The creature held a weird very dark purplish sword that resembled a mandible more than a sword. The creature was armored by plates of the same material.

"What in Oblivion is that??" I whispered.

"Falmer," Serana replied almost inaudibly.

The creature turned toward us and uttered a guttural scream before running toward us. I was the first to act holding up my shield as the creature bashed down on it.

what strength for a creature so skinny it possessed incredible power.* I thought as I gritted my teeth my shield arm began to tingle from the impacts.

Serana came from behind my shield aimed her fingers at the creature's head and shot a firebolt straight into its skull. The creature dropped death immediately as its head flamed.

"They apparently rely on the sound we have to be more silent," Serana remarked.

Which did make sense as I inspected the creature its eye sockets were indeed closed shut and its huge pointy ears were definitely better suited for hearing than mine. It also seemed to rely on echo location hence the clicking sound it made.

"Scary I wonder what happened to make them like this. I have read about snow elves and these things don't resemble them one bit. They were described as noble and fair-skinned." I remarked.

"Well, thousands of years in these dark places must have done a number on them. I do wonder how they ended up here." Serana replied with a hint of sadness in her tone.

"Let us just move on before more come here. It seemed like this one was a scout." I replied before slowly moving further making sure to make as little sound as possible.

We followed the corridors which led us to a huge golden door. The Dwemer sure liked to make things big. I slowly opened it which required a decent amount of strength. The door screeched and creaked along the floor I cursed the door for making such a loud noise.

My worries were right as a group of five falmer stood beyond the door immediately alerted to our presence. They screeched loudly before running towards us well you couldn't quite call it running they were hunched over and it resembled more of a skipping movement than anything.

Serana immediately began casting fire spells. And I ran towards them with my sword in front of me.

Engaging two of them in battle I nimbly evaded every attack from the creatures sliding and ducking under every attack and bashing my shield to create an opening to attack.

I managed to bash onto its knees as I quickly planted my sword in its chest ending its life. The other one screeched loudly at this as it began to violently slash and cut in my direction.

I slowly backed away letting the creature tire itself out before ending it with a swift slash at its throat. The falmer fell down as a guttural yelp escaped its mouth.

Looking over at Serana who had no trouble evading every attack she was in the middle of the other three falmer. I looked on awestruck as she gracefully evaded their attacks it looked more like she was dancing than fighting quick knife jabs that injured the creatures for her to swiftly end their lives.

Serana glanced over at me as her assailants dropped before her.

"Wasn't in the mood to help?" She remarked crossing her arms.

"You seemed to have everything under control besides that I was admiring you," I replied which made Serana blush.

"Thank you, let's move on shall we?" She said a bit flustered.

We rounded another corner and were met with another open room. This one was ( decorated) quite differently. It seemed the falmer had made this their home as grotesque tents made out of some chitinous material was put up and weird egg-like mounts littered the room. On the walls higher up was the strange material again shaped in a hang mat-like structure glued to the wall.

"What is that?" I remarked as I closed in on the strange mounts filled with blue orbs.

I poked it with the tip of my sword and the orbs popped letting out a strange goo-like liquid. I almost gagged as the smell could be described as absolutely vile.

"I think they are eggs Dracar," Serana remarked.

"Eggs? For what creatures? " I asked Serana who pointed at the hard purplish material.

"Probably from whatever that is made of," Serana remarked.

I grimaced.

"Well, I hope we don't have to encounter whatever creature that is made off that stuff is as hard as steel," I replied.

"I have a feeling we will and from the looks of it they are insectoid great for you spider fear," Serana replied with a smirk on her face.

"Ha ha very funny why don't you mock my fears some more huh?" I said glaring at the female vampire which just winked at me.

We headed deeper into the ruins walking over what seemed like the remains of a battle a few falmer bodies and those weird Dwemer constructs littered the ground.

"Seems like those things don't like each other," I remarked grabbing some of the crossbow bolts.

"Well, the falmer are probably expanding their territory and the Dwemer constructs are tasked to protect this place so it's only natural," Serana replied investigating the constructs.

I walked over to another Dwemer construct grabbing the bolts and suddenly felt a tile sinking under my feet. Loud machinery noises were heard and a tall pole emerged from the ground.

"Dracar watch out!!" Serana yelled as she jumped on top of me knocking me down.

My eyes widened as above me the pole extended and two swords extended from it spinning around fast.

"What in oblivion!!" I yelled.

Serana held me tightly as our eyes met I became very conscious about our closeness as I felt her breath on my cheeks. A slight blush crossed our cheeks as we kept looking at each other.

"Be careful you idiot," Serana spoke up.

"If that leads to you jumping me like this maybe I won't," I said as I looked at the vampire seductively.

"Ass," Serana replied before slapping me.

I stood up helping her up and reminding myself to be careful of where I walked I liked Serana jumping me but I would like it to be in a less life-threatening situation.

After another long while of walking through the corridors, we became quite tired.

"Say Serana what do you think about resting for a while? I am getting quite tired." I asked as I yawned.

Serana nodded and we walked a bit more before we found a suitable place to rest. We had found another room with a separate room which could be closed off by a gate in the room stood a few stone tables and stone chairs we decided to sleep on the big stone table. As we locked the gate and made ready to get some much-needed rest.

I tried closing my eyes but sleep didn't come easy my mind was racing with today's events and how we narrowly evaded death multiple times already.

I sighed loudly as the sounds of machinery and the steam pipes didn't help either.

I held Serana close to me which snuggled up against my chest and felt sleep slowly creep on me.

We were running fast as we were chased by a dozen constructs shooting lightning as bolts flew past our faces.

"Why did you have to take that turn back there? I told you I heard something !" Serana screamed at me shooting lightning behind us as she picked up the pace.

"I don't know !! This place is a goddamn maze okay! Just focus on finding a place to hide from these things." I yelled back as I narrowly evaded a bolt that connected to the wall next to me.

We rounded another corner and were met with an unwelcoming sight of another falmer camp which screeched as they heard us coming. These ones were more heavily armored and had a mage. I evaded an ice spike as I slid under a slashing sword I looked next to me to see Serana kicking another one in the guts as she jumped over it.

The two factions clashed as now the falmer's noticed the constructs which clashed with each other. I turned around briefly as I mustered up my power.

fus ro dah*

The enormous shockwave pushed both the falmer and the constructs into each other.

We took the opportunity to quickly make our getaway.

We panted loudly as we were finally away from danger.

"Seriously Dracar you are going to get us killed! So far you made it your mission to set every trap off and get the attention of every enemy." Serana yelled as she glared at me.

"Hey, don't blame me again this place is a fucking maze you act like I know the inside of this place like my own backyard." I shot back.

"It's not my fault the Dwemer built so many fail-saves." I continued through my pants.

Serena's gaze softened.

"Yeah, you are right sorry for snapping at you."

"It is okay I am sorry too I really don't wanna die you know," I replied as I caught my breath.

We were standing in front of a another big gate I was reluctant to open it but decided we had nothing to lose. Behind us were either surviving falmer or those damned metal machines so I opened the door.

It opened up into a huge round cavern with a walkway towers holding up the walkway as the room was illuminated by hundreds of lights. The walkway was leading down I gazed down and saw another falmer encampment.

"What is that?" I asked as I saw a few creature's scuttling on the ground very fast.

"Let's find out," Serana replied as she slowly made her way down.

"Uhm Serana they look dangerous," I replied grimacing at the prospect of finally meeting those insects.

"Everything is dangerous here, are you coming or not," Serana said scolding me.

She was right but I didn't have to like it.

We slowly made our way down disposing of a few falmer centries on the way. Making sure to kill them silently I mostly shot them with my crossbow.

As we reached the bottom we were hiding behind a pillar I looked around the corner and was horrified. These THINGS had mandibles the size of my entire arms and multiple eyes their armor looked very tough and they made that awful scuttling sound as they moved. I shivered which made Serana chuckle.

"Want me to dispose of them," Serana whispered smirking at me.

"Fuck spiders these are even worse," I replied grimacing.

Just as Serana wanted to attack I saw a few falmer herding the insects leading them towards a cage. I gagged as they extracted the eggs from the creature and started to eat them making disgusting crunching noises as the goo escaped the side of their mouths.

I decided I had enough and loaded my crossbow with an exploding bolt.

Aiming it in the middle of the group I fired.

The bolt connected with one insect blowing it up in a mess of intestines and green goo.

The falmer were blown away aswel but the other insect survived. It screeched loudly as it charged us its mandibles secreting see-through liquid. It jumped towards me which made me yelp as Serana shot a fireball at the creature making it explode.

I was covered with green goo and looked at Serana with an annoyed look wiping the goo from my face.

Serana burst out in laughter.

"Hahaha oh hahaha I am so sorry hahaha." She screamed laughing.

"You enjoy this too much," I grunted as I stomped away from the vampire gagging and almost puking as I frantically searched for something to clean myself with.

Which made the female vampire laugh more hysterically.

"Green looks good on you." She said teasingly.

"Watch it missy!!" I yelled glaring at her.

After I finally cleaned myself we proceeded further. We came across another crossroad and decided to go straight.

After walking through it for a while we came across what looked like a human camp. A few tents were set up and a long extinguished fireplace lay in the middle.

Serana and I rummaged through the campsite trying to find any information as to where to go.

We seemed to go the right way up until now but as we got deeper inside the stronghold the more confusing the stronghold became with a lot of crossroads and offshoots.

I was looking through the tent when I came across a journal.

property of Sulla Trebatius*

We have lost a significant amount of people already. The Dwemer traps and constructs aren't to be trifled with. And I am not even speaking about the Falmer they do unspeakable things to humans. I fear for Rogni And Cassius.

They were caught two weeks ago. Further more J'zharr and J'darr are descending into madness. I must keep an eye out for them they can't handle the pressure.

However, all this is worth it Blackreach is within grasp I truly believe it. The college will reward me splendidly for exploring its secrets the cave is presumed to be a myth but I have found weird unknown flora in a few Dwemer rooms. It indicates that Blackreach must be real.

Now we will be moving deeper into the ruins in a few days. My people need a much-needed rest and this is a good place we haven't seen any Falmer or Dwemer constructs for a while now.

28th of last seed.

The man are going crazy they are telling me they hear weird sounds coming from the corridors next to us. I am skeptical nothing indicates the falmer have been here.

I am sending two men to investigate.

29th of last seed.

They were right the falmer infiltrated this deep. We barricaded the door but suffered a few losses the first time the falmer broke through J'zharr and J'darr ran off skooma-addicted cowards.

Anyway, if anyone finds this journal it means one of two things either I am taken captive by the falmer, or I managed to escape. I was planning on going right to the next intersection as we discovered a huge room there.*

"Serana, it seems the expedition the two khaijit were part of made it this far. This journal describes the events they went through." I said to Serana who came running towards me.

"Really? What does it say?" She asked intrigued.

"They were cornered here by the falmer it seems they made their last stand here. I don't know what happened as the writings stopped." I replied showing Serana the journal.

"It seems they found something interesting that way. Might be worth checking out." Serana remarked.

"Yeah you are right but first we are going to get some sleep here. I want to be rested enough to face any danger." I replied pointing at the beds.

Serana eagerly dropped down on one of the beds. As I made something to eat and let Serana feed from me.

We woke up at whatever time it was it was hard to tell how late it was being down here. Packed up our stuff and went in the direction the journal pointed out.

Walking there was quite peaceful as we had a small conversation.

"What are we going to do when we find Blackreach?" Serana asked.

"Probably find a lot more dangers and unspeakable things," I replied looking around me.

"I wonder what it looks like, ancient books describe Blackreach as an awe-inspiring place filled with unprecedented beauty," Serana said as she smiled.

"I am glad you found me life has been so interesting since I met you," Serana said honestly.

"I am glad I found you too there is never a dull moment with you. However, I sometimes wish we could enjoy each other's company without all this strife." I replied smiling at Serana.

"Well, what are we going to do once this is all over?" Serana asked hopefully

"I don't understand what do you mean?" I asked her not knowing what she meant by that.

"What are your plans once we defeat Alduin and my father? Will you retire? Will you travel the world?" Serana asked as she looked at me intently almost studying my expression.

"I haven't really thought about it, I feel like I have had enough excitement for a lifetime by then. Maybe I will try to settle down and occasionally travel a bit." I replied while dreaming about owning my own place accompanied by a certain female vampire.

"Is that all? Don't you want to enjoy that with somebody?" Serana said softly sounding disappointed.

I got where she was hinting at and looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Serana, it speaks for itself that I want to do that with you. Like I said before you won't ever be alone anymore." I said smiling at the beautiful woman, the prospect of living the rest of my life with her made me happy.

Serana blushed. As she bowed her head down smiling like an idiot.

"I wouldn't want any other thing in the world Dracar." She said softly holding one hand on her chest.

We had made it to another large door which we opened another large room was behind it large pillars were holding up the sealing I couldn't even see the end of the room as it was very expansive. Rows of pillars that I couldn't even count stretched on as what seemed to be infinite.

We cautiously walked further looking around us for any dangers.

I heard a sound and was immediately on high alert. We inched further with our backs against each other.

Mechanical sounds sounded in the distance as I could hear the sound of metal rolling on stone.

"Prepare yourself," I said to Serana.

Suddenly everything was silent.

A loud whistling sound sounded through the room and I held up my shield. A bolt bounced off my shield and then all hell broke loose.

Suddenly the room was lit up by dozens of lightning bolts aimed at us. Serana acted quickly as she conjured up a ward and extended it to wrap around us both.

I could see this was taxing on her as the lightning bolts connected with the ward.

"Dracar do something I can't hold this forever." Serana pleaded.

My eyes focused on the place where the most lightning bolts originated from sadly I found out we were surrounded.

I could feel my dragon blood boil.

"Serana NOW!" I yelled.

YOL TUUR SHUL *

An immense inferno left my mouth as I spun around trying to hit every attacker. Lightning managed to slip through the inferno and hit me I groaned in defiance and intensified the shout which by now was illuminating the entire room.

I could smell the scent of melting metal as the lightning bolts gradually lessened.

Once I was done we were attacked by but a few lightning bolts. The shout had taken a great amount of stamina from me as I panted heavily.

The Dwemer spiders inched closer and Serana picked them off with incredible precision each shot was a bull's eye.

I panted heavily as I lowered down to one knee the shout had taken more out of me than I thought.

I sighed loudly as I saw that the attack was not over yet. A large amount of the other constructs were closing in on us at incredible speed.

"Serana!!" I yelled as I got up just in time to evade a bunch of bolts being shot at us.

I quickly glanced over at my side to see that Serana had evaded mostly unscathed she had a few cuts on her arms but she was mostly okay.

What ensued next was a desperate fight from us to try and fend off the onslaught of Dwemer constructs.

I didn't want to admit it but I was exhausted I could feel my emotions getting slower as I desperately tried to evade the vicious attacks from the constructs. Serana wasn't in any better condition however doing better than me. The gap between us grew wider and wider as we were cornered and encircled by the Dwemer Constructs.

I screamed in defiance as I began to fight viciously. Getting cut left and right but I didn't care about my injuries constructs dropped left and right of me as I cut them down with incredible strength I didn't know I had.

My sword seemed to slice through them now as the runes on it glowed violently seemingly reacting to my emotions.

I saw Serana was luckily holding her own again doing the deathly dance again as she struck the constructs with eagle-eyed precision. She was an incredibly powerful mage but her fighting prowess wasn't to be underestimated either.

I got a bit distracted to notice a construct lunging at me I sidestepped just in time to catch its sword between my side and my shield. I headbutted its head which made it fall over. As I planted nightbane in its skull.

The fighting went on for what seemed like hours as we valiantly hold our own against both Dwemer spheres and spiders.

Serana and I had finally made it back together and we fought in beautiful harmony. As Serana ducked I parried which allowed her to swiftly administer the killing blows.

As I ducked down she rolled over my back kicking the constructs away. She grabbed a hold of my hand as I spun her around which allowed her to kick in the heads of the constructs with her vampiric strength.

As she ducked down I bashed a leaping spider away from her. To any onlooker, our fight could be seen as a deathly dance fighting in complete harmony with each other attuned to each other's movements as we gracefully moved around each other to dispose of our assailants.

Finally the last of the Dwemer constructs fell down as I held Serana close protecting her from the explosion.

The light illuminated Serana's beautiful face as sweat dripped down her forehead looking at each other intently. We panted heavily an onslaught of broken machines laying in a circle around us.

Now no sound but our heavy breathing filled the room.

"You are so graceful." I managed to say between heavy breathing.

"You are incredibly strong," Serana said as she narrowed her eyes in a seductive gaze.

We closed the distance between us inching closer for a kiss as we were interrupted by a loud screeching noise.

"Fuck! Not now!" I yelled.

Hordes of falmer filled the room and we were in no shape to fight.

I grabbed Serana by the waist and picked her up. Arrows rained down on us as I ran holding Serana on my shoulder.

"HOLD ON TIGHTLY!" I screamed.

wuld nah kest*

We were propelled forward at incredible speeds as I ran as fast as I could.

Arrows were flying all around us the place seemed infested by falmer. Probably because of the battle they were sound-oriented and we haven't been exactly silent.

shit shit shit we aren't going to make it.* I internally screamed.

wuld nah kest*

We were once again propelled forward as I moved with incredible speed holding on to Serana with all my might.

I saw the end of the room and a huge gate rejuvenated I sprinted as fast as I could. I had about one more shout in me before I would probably collapse from exhaustion.

The horde of falmer didn't relent however as they were coming out of every crack and crevice.

Nearing the gate I picked up the pace one more time.

wuld nah kest*

The last few feet were now in sight as we ran toward the gate.

However, just before reaching it, I was tripped down by a spear. Serana and I fell down with Serana falling close to the gate.

Serana looked on in horror as my feet were grabbed.

"Dracar!!"

"Serana do what we promised each other run!!" I screamed back.

"But..."

"NO BUTS! GOOOO." I screamed before I was dragged backward.
