WELCOME BACK TO MY STORY EVERYONE! I hope you enjoyed the last chapter and have had a great week with everything. As you know I've pre-written this chapter as well. I've enjoyed writing this series far more than Naruto: The Darkness Within. At the time of writing this, it felt like a chore to write(Naruto: DWI), but planning and writing this story has been so much fun. Ideas and brainstorming more and more keeps me writing this story. So I hope you're all enjoying it! The next arc will start with Chapter 7.

Arc 1: First Real Mission (Finale)
Chapter 5: Mysteries and Truths Revealed!
"With the power of youth on our side, I'll defeat you Blue Devil!" Gai called out.
"Like your rival, you too will fall." The Blue Devil said. Gai tensed at this statement.
The intense stare down was intimidating to the young genin. Never actually seeing their sensei angry like this. "You're unyouthful, for that, you will lose this battle." Gai commented.
"We will just have to see about that." The Blue Devil stated.
The Blue Devil charged in and attacked Gai with a flurry of Taijutsu attacks. Gai met the attacks with blocks and dodges to avoid being struck. Gai quickly threw a kick at the mid section of the Blue Devil and charged in. The Genin watched as Gai moved with speed that was rarely displayed by their sensei. Gai charged in with a kick to the face of the Blue Devil. Unfortunately, the kick was avoided and he punched Gai in the Kidney. The Blue Devil followed up with a massive kick to the face that sent Might Gai into a tree. Gai twisted his body so that his feet landed on the tree.
"You're not half bad." Gai commented.
"You will fall to me Green Beast. Afterwards I'll test your Hyuga Student." The Blue Devil taunted.
"You will have to kill me before that happens." Gai spoke once again.
The Blue Devil ran through hand signs and called out, "Water Style: Tsunami!" A massive wave came from the man and charged at Gai.
"Leaf Whirlwind!" Gai yelled out as he kicked the wave, destroying the jutsu.
"What impressive Taijutsu. It's a shame you won't win this battle." The Blue Devil complimented.
Gai charged in again and yelled "Springtime of Youth Combo!" Gai threw 3 alternating punches and a kick that sent the Blue Devil through 4 trees.
"Gai-Sensei, that man's right side of his face is melting!" Neji exclaimed.
"What was that?" Gai asked curiously. He was caught off guard by his students claim. Melting face? He thought.
"It seems I've underestimated you. You've stopped me for now Green Beast!" The Blue Devil said as he suddenly vanished.
"Sensei, that man is no longer within the range of my Byakugan." Neji commented.
"No need to worry my student. We will continue our journey to Kakashi's team and figure out how to stop him." Might Gai replied with his usual happy demeanor, but inside he was worried. How could a man disappear in an instant, but not keep up with me. He thinks to himself.
With Team 7
After losing the battle against the Blue Devil, Naruto and Kakashi take notes from one another.
"So he was holding back against Naruto?" Sakura asked.
Naruto looked at the pinkette and wondered what she had meant. "Huh?"
"He defeated Kakashi with slight effort. The way you described him, he could not have defeated Kakashi." Sasuke answers.
"That's right," Kakashi agrees. "This man knew what I was going to do as well. He's done research on me for sure." Kakashi added. He started to wonder though, "I want to know why he went easy on you and didn't even bother to fight Mito."
"It must be because I'm totally awesome!" Mito yelled!
"As if." Sasuke answered. "If Naruto, Kakashi, and I battle against him, we should be able to defeat him."
"Hn. No." Naruto answered. "Even though he's stronger than us, he held back against me, apparently. I want to find out why."
Kakashi thought over Sasuke Uchiha's plan. He considered Naruto's wishes of battling the Blue Devil once more. I'm also curious as to why he would run away against mere Genin. Something isn't right about this. He also spared me. But why? He thought. "After further consideration, we move when we get our back up. Currently, we must protect our client, once Lord Third sends his back up, we will move. When the next opportunity arises, Naruto will face him one on one. I want every eye watching this interaction. Every muscle twitch and every move remembered." Kakashi orders.
"YES!" Naruto yells.
The full blooded Uchiha grunted, "Hn."
"Yes Sensei!" Both Sakura and Mito said in unison.
Kojiro appeared from a hole they had him in for protection. "So, the Blue Devil is even stronger than Kakashi of the Sharingan aye?" He asked.
"Sharingan?!" Both Uchiha clansmen questioned out loud.
Everyone turned to look at Kakashi. Kakashi pulled his headband to reveal his single Sharingan.
"Yes, I have a Sharingan. It is why you two were assigned to me as only I can teach you both how to properly use your dojutsu." Kakashi stated.
"Why didn't you tell us about this before?" Sasuke interrogated. He didn't like to be led around like this at all. Especially when it had to do with his clan.
"I didn't have a reason to do so." He answered ever so bluntly.
Naruto started to think. "When did you get that eye?" He asked darkly.
Everyone noticing the mood change in the atmosphere coming from Naruto. Kakashi quickly answered, "I didn't get it from when your clan was massacred, if you think that. In fact, I had it before even the Fourth Hokage was made the Fourth. The Uchiha clan tried to strip me of the legendary dojutsu, it was Sasuke's nofather who allowed me to keep it. I'm sure if you head to the office of Fugaku, you can see an official document of it." He answered.
Father did that? Sasuke thought. "Why would my father allow that?" He asked.
Naruto nodded. With his unusual relationship with Fugaku Uchiha and the clan, he was sure that the leader of the Uchiha Clan would take the eye, due to the clan. Had the clan really changed that much in a short amount of time? The half blood Uchiha thought.
Kakashi pulled his headband back to hide his eye. "It started during the Third Great Shinobi War. I had just became Jonin, and was assigned to take down the Kanabi Bridge to stop Iwa's supply line. During that mission, my newly promoted Chunin teammate, Obito Uchiha, had awakened his Sharingan. However, I was left with very little energy and would almost be struck by a massive boulder." Kakashi spoke. He took a deep breath and then continued. "Obito grab and threw me to safety. Doing this though, he was instead crushed. His dying wish was that I keep his Sharingan safe and allow him to see the world through me. It was then I adopted the teamwork rule."
The Genin of Team SevenPlus wiped some tears from their eyes.
Kojiro looked at the silver haired ninja, "But why did the leader of these two boys' clan allow you to keep it?" He asked.
"I explained the situation in front of the Uchiha council and Lord Fugaku stated that I would be allowed to keep my Sharingan if I enrolled in Anbu Black Ops and he wanted to fulfill Obito's dying wish, but also keep the kekkei Genkai safe." Kakashi answered.
The Uchiha boys now saw Fugaku in a new light. Mito and Sakura were curious how Kakashi had lost the fight. It seemed unreal.
"Kakashi-Sensei? How could you lose? I remembered once Naruto-kun unlocked his that no one could beat him. How is it that you lost?" Sakura asked. The question made sense. Kakashi also wondered. There wasn't many Shinobi in the world who could defeat him.
Kakashi took a moment to gather his thoughts for his response. With a long breath he spoke, "the Sharingan is a tool. I've been told to never overly rely on my Sharingan by the Uchiha elders and Lord Hokage. The Uchiha who did that back in my genin days, all died quick. However, it's a good tool to use. This man we fought is on another level. His water jutsu is strong." Kakashi stopped to breathe. "The Sharingan predicts movements and allows the user to copy whatever they see. This man moves faster than I do therefore being able to see isn't the issue. It's my physical attributes that caused my failure." He finished.
"If the Blue Masked Devil is that good, how do we stop him?" Mito asked. It was then they heard a rustling coming from behind them. The five shinobi and Kojiro turned around. They prepared themselves to fight.
"KAKASHI!" Gai yelled out appearing from the woods.
The team see a man dressed in green spandex, a teen dressed the same way, a boy with eyes like Hinata Hyuga, and a girl with twin buns.
"Finally found you lot." The teen with eyes like Hinata commented.
"Don't be rude Neji!" The girl spoke.
"Yosh, we are here to save the day!" The miniature teen of the jonin yelled.
The genin from Team SevenPlus looked at the dysfunctional team that was before them. Until Mito spoke up.
"Hey, we don't need no saving!" She screamed.
All the Genin grabbed the ears in pain from the screech. "Can you never do that again!" Neji fired back.
Kakashi, Kojiro, and Might Gain stepped away from the genin to formulate a plan. Meanwhile the Genin got to know each other.
"A four genin team hasn't been made since the time of the Nidaime. What makes your team so special?" Tenten inquired.
Sasuke Uchiha decided to be the one to answer the question. "Hn, well Naruto and I were assigned to the same team due to our bloodline and Sakura's intelligence was given to our team as well. Mito Uzumaki was added to the team a day later for whatever reason."
"Who was your Rookie of the Year?" Rock Lee asked with excitement.
Sakura answered this question, "our Rookie of the Year was Naruto-kun. The only one of us who could ever keep up with him is Sasuke-kun!"
"I see, another dojutsu user is the Rookie of the Year. Last year, I was the Rookie of the Year." Neji stated.
"That's right, Neji is a genius. He cannot be defeated by anyone in our age group." Tenten boasted.
"NARUTO! I WISH TO SPAR RIGHT NOW!" Rick Lee yelled with a fiery determination.
Everyone looked at Naruto. He looked directly at Neji. Naruto spoke, "If I'm going to spar with anyone here, it will be the Hyuga." Naruto smirked confidently at the Hyuga.
Naruto had laid the challenge out. Everyone had watched as the tensions started to build. The remaining genin looked at Neji. Neji closed his eyes and answered coolly, "I would gladly spar with you to prove who has the superior dojutsu."
Sasuke went up to Naruto and whispered in his ears, "he just has a Byakugan, Hinata wasn't all that strong either. Don't let our clan down." Sasuke warned his cousin.
"First to be knocked on their back loses." Tenten stated. Both combatants agreed to the rule.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting an orange glow over the outskirts of the Hidden Valley Village. Naruto Uchiha, his blue eyes shimmered with determination as he activated his two tomoe Sharingan, the crimson swirls reflecting his lineage.
Opposite him, was his exact opposite. Neji Hyuga with his striking pale eyes and a calm demeanor, stood poised and ready. He knew Naruto possessed the potential to challenge him, but he remained confident in his own abilities. The stage was set, and the battle was about to begin.
Naruto wasted no time, swiftly weaving hand seals and generating a massive fireball. With a flick of his wrist, he launched the fiery projectile towards Neji, who calmly sidestepped the attack, his Byakugan scanning Naruto's every move. Neji's keen reflexes allowed him to dodge with ease, showcasing his mastery of the Gentle Fist style.
Undeterred, Naruto adjusted his strategy. He leaped backward, putting some distance between them, and focused his chakra. Earth-style techniques were his forte for defense, and he knew he needed to create a solid foundation before launching another offensive. With a surge of power, he created a sturdy earthen wall to shield himself.
Seizing the opportunity, Neji closed the gap between them with lightning speed. His hands moved like a blur as he executed a swift series of palm strikes, aiming for Naruto's vital points. Naruto, relying on his intelligence and quick reflexes, weaved through Neji's attacks, narrowly avoiding each strike by a hair's breadth.
Naruto retaliated, launching a barrage of fireballs at Neji, who maneuvered skillfully, dodging and deflecting the projectiles with precise movements. The clash of fire and water created sparks in the air, intensifying the battle. Naruto's proficiency in fire-style jutsu was evident, but Neji's mastery of the Gentle Fist allowed him to counter Naruto's every move.
As the fight raged on, Naruto realized that he couldn't match Neji's prowess in close combat. He needed to rely on his intelligence and quick thinking to turn the tide of the battle. Drawing upon his strategic mind, Naruto created a diversion, using a series of swift clones to confuse Neji. While Neji was momentarily distracted, Naruto unleashed a powerful earth-style attack, causing the ground beneath Neji to crack and split.
Neji, however, displayed his exceptional agility, leaping into the air and evading the catastrophic attack. He landed gracefully and swiftly moved towards Naruto, his hands glowing with chakra. Neji's precise strikes targeted Naruto's tenketsu, aiming to disrupt his chakra flow and weaken him.
Naruto, realizing the danger, tapped into the power of his Sharingan. The enhanced visual perception allowed him to analyze Neji's movements and anticipate his strikes. Naruto's evasion became a dance, his body twisting and turning with grace as he narrowly avoided Neji's precise attacks. The battle reached its climax as both combatants pushed themselves to the limit.
But despite Naruto's tenacity, Neji's experience and mastery proved to be the deciding factor. In a split second, Neji exploited an opening and delivered a precise strike to Naruto's abdomen, knocking the wind out of him. Naruto stumbled backward, his back slamming into the ground. The victory belonged to Neji, but it was a hard-fought battle, leaving both combatants exhausted and bruised.
"Neji wins!" Tenten announced. The rest of the genin stood speechless. Naruto had lost the battle.
Naruto stood up and looked at the genin who defeated him. Sasuke had only seen one look like that before in his life. No! Not that face! It's like his expression from that night! Sasuke thought.
Naruto walked up to Neji, "you were the better man today, the next time we come to blows, I will be victorious." Naruto told the Hyuga. "Hn, we will see about that." Neji stated.
After two minutes, Kakashi, Gai, and Kojiro reappeared. They had formulated a plan to escape.
"We will journey together as a two team, one squad wedge. I'll take the middle front, Team seven will take the front left and right, while Gai takes the middle rear, with his team taking rear left and right. That will leave our client, Kojiro in the middle of all of us." Kakashi informed the group of genin. The genin all nodded their heads and understood the task at hand.
"What? What about my rematch with the Blue Devil?" Naruto wondered.
"It's different now," Kakashi replied. "Gai defeated the man in hand to hand combat. He will be severely weakened and will be like a dying animal on its last leg." Naruto nodded, albeit with disappointment.
"Neji, you will use your Byakugan to search for the enemy." Might Gai informed his student.
"Naruto, you will have your Sharingan active in case you see any traces of chakra in the air." Kakashi stated.
The two dojutsu wielding Genin nodded. They had their own responsibilities to handle during this mission. The two legendary dojutsu of the Hyuga and Uchiha appeared.
After the group started their search, a man lurks nearby. That's most interesting. The man thinks to himself.
The team started looking around as they traversed through the elemental nations on their way back to Konoha. As they continued they felt as if nothing was going to happen. They had walked carefully through the Land of Fire, passing through Tanzaku Gai with relative ease.
"This is getting boring!" Mito Uzumaki exclaimed. The others looked at her with annoyance. Naruto was the one who had spoken up for the group however. "Be that as it may, being a ninja can't always be fun. I remember when Shisui-sensei would train Sasuke and I after one of his Anbu missions. He had told us that being a ninja won't always be fun." Naruto had stated as he closed his eyes to let a single tear drop slide down his face.
"Who is Shisui anyways?" Rock Lee had asked.
"An elite Uchiha." Sasuke answered. Aside from Naruto, Akane, and Sasuke, not many knew about the Uchiha clan functioned. It was always a secret.
"What was he like?" Sakura curiously asked. The group passing another river and the trees blew the scent of the fresh leafs in their direction. Naruto felt nostalgic talking about his former Sensei. Kakashi and Gai understood the importance of talking about lost ones and allowed them.
Naruto took a breath and told a story, "Well, Shisui-Sensei was smart, funny, and strong. I remember when I first met him..."
Flashback 7 years ago
Naruto had been training with Fugaku since awakening his Sharingan. Akane had been happy that Fugaku kept his word. Fugaku, however wasn't too happy the boy awakened the legendary dojutsu before his second son Sasuke.
"...that is most excellent." The head of the Uchiha had commented on Naruto's shuriken training. This had reminded the man of how he had taught Itachi as a kid. Naruto smiled at the man who he viewed as an uncle. Fugaku was about to speak before being interrupted by a man in a mask.
"Hello Fugaku-sama." The man waved as he spoke. Naruto was memorized at the sight of the mask. "Hello little guy." The man said as he removed his white mask to reveal a face with a smile.
The Uchiha clan head gave a rare half smile, "Shisui I am glad you've made it." The two shook hands. Something Naruto rarely ever saw the man do. The man had spent 1 month training him and usually he ordered people around in a sour mood.
They release hands and the teen Uchiha spoke again, "Well when Uchiha-sama asks for a favor and he will owe you one, you gotta show up." The man said with a bright smile. "So, is this the little guy you wanted me to teach some stuff to?" Shisui asked his leader.
Fugaku had nodded, "yes, unfortunately I've ignored my role as clan head for about a month and the clan is getting restless. I've now assigned you to train this boy in my absence with Itachi." He said as he sighed. "I need this boy to be stronger than anyone in the clan or at least able to maintain himself in a battle with you." Fugaku stated.
Naruto was shocked at this information. Itachi? This new guy and Itachi will teach me? He thought. Itachi had been kind to him. Now the teen boy would teach him too? Naruto was excited and didn't hear the clan leader speak to him.
"...Naruto! Don't be rude and introduce yourself." The man ordered.
Naruto albeit startled, did as he was told. "Hi Uchiha-San! I'm Naruto Uchiha!" The boy exclaimed proudly.
Shisui looked at the boy. "Hmm, I could've sworn a little boy who awakened the Sharingan would be more... how do I say it, stoic." He stated.
"I'm not a little boy! I can do anything with my Sharingan!" The boy exclaimed. Shisui laughed in his face as Fugaku nodded and walked off. "I'm sorry, it's just... every Uchiha thinks that. Until they lose a battle." The Anbu member stated.
"As your new teacher, you will have to call me Lord Shisui Ultimate Sensei!" The teen told his new apprentice. Naruto sweat dropped at the man's antics.
Flashback end
"...yeah he was a bit strange, but he was one of the most powerful people I ever met." Naruto explained. The rest of the genin were surprised that an Uchiha was so, well so anything but stoic. Sasuke wasn't too bad since he was always around Naruto, and Naruto didn't count too much considering he's half Uchiha only. Clearly he gets his fun side from his father they thought. Whoever he was.
"Not only that, but Shisui was one of Konoha's top ten strongest members in the village at one point." Kakashi had added for extra emphasis on the late Uchiha's strength.
"Wish he was around Dattebane! He would mop the floor with this Blue Devil!" Mito exclaimed.
Sasuke remained quiet on the rest of the way. He too enjoyed and missed Shisui Uchiha. If Itachi had been less psychopathic, perhaps things would be different.
As the group neared Konoha, Neji yelled for them to stop. "Everyone! He is here!" He exclaimed as he point in the 11 o 'clock position.
And there he was, the Blue Devil Masked Shinobi. The man sat on a tree nonchalantly. "Ah, so it seems Konoha's ninja has brought me my prey." The man said.
"Enough! Bushier brows-Sensei defeated you earlier!" Mito yelled as she made 30 clones to combat the enemy. The man ducked and weaved through all the attacks grabbing the original and tossing her at a tree.
"I am finished with entertaining children!" The man stated. Gai then charged in with intend to injure. The Blue Devil swiftly evaded another kick from Gai and countered with a strike to the back. Kakashi charged in with a Lightning cutter and was stopped by the man's hand. "A powerful Jutsu you wield." He complimented.
Sasuke threw a shuriken directly at the man. The man, with Kakashi in his grasps, disappeared into thin air. A split second later, the man reappeared with no one with him. He chopped Sasuke on the neck. "Kojiro, you will pay for your crimes now!" He explained as he walked towards the man.
Naruto and Neji jumped in the way and Sakura, Tenten, and Lee jumped in front of Kojiro in a triangle formation.
"The Byakugan and Sharingan, teaming up. A rare event," Naruto and Neji's confidence rose, "but I've already seen that once before!" He said has he punched Neji in the stomach making the boy pass out.
Naruto froze as Neji fell to the ground. So, powerful. I didn't even see him move. He thought to himself. The boy couldn't move due to the fear he felt.
"You're lucky." The man whispered in Naruto's ear. "I'm in a relatively good mood, I'll allow your friends to live, should you hand over Kojiro." The Blue Devil proposed.
Naruto couldn't believe what he saw. Kakashi, Sasuke, Gai, Neji, and Mito were dispatched in one swift attack. I... don't stand a chance... he thought. "I..." he started to say before being interrupted by Sakura.
"NARUTO! Don't do it!" She yelled at her teammate.
"How unfortunate then." The Masked Devil pulled out a Senbon and stabbed Naruto with it. Naruto collapsed in pain.
"NARUTO!" Sakura screamed. Tenten and Lee gasped at what they witnessed. However it was Mito Uzumaki who was even more angry!
"You... bastard!" She yelled! The air got warmer around everyone. There seemed to be a force coming off Mito Uzumaki. The red head girl had become more red. Visible chakra cloaked around her. Her teeth sharpening and her nails growing longer. Three black lines appeared on her face as if she had whiskers.
Dammit. I didn't realize the Jinchuriki would be able to tap into her power this soon! The Blue Devil thought in fear. I will have to be more careful. If she gets a few shots in with that vile chakra, my Hashirama cells will react negatively. The man subconsciously put his hand on his right side of his face.
W-what is that power? The remaining genin thought. Sakura, Lee, and Tenten were astonished.
"You're gonna pay for that!" Mito roared at the Blue Devil. She charged in with speeds unrecognizable of her usual self.
Faster. Definitely stronger than before. The Blue Devil thought. He dodged the first attack aimed for his head. Her sharp nails just barely scratching the mask. Dammit. That much faster? He nervously thought.
He ran through hand signs and summoned a Water Dragon Justu. Mito ran through it as if it wasn't there. "Fine, I didn't want to use water style anymore anyways!" The Blue Devil said as he ran through more hand signs. "WOOD STYLE: DEEP FOREST EMERGENCE!" The masked man called out as massive branches came from the ground trying to capture Mito.
Mito roared once again, three chakra tails surrounding her person. The wood now started to avoid her. Impossible. The Blue Devil said to himself. The girl... she... the thought was cut short as Mito's fist covered in Nine Tails Chakra connected with the Blue Devil's jaw. The Blue Devil disappeared from the area and Mito chased after him.
"Dammit, she's getting faster!" He spoke aloud. He stood back up. His mask was cracked revealing the right side of his face, a pasty white face. Mito had stopped charging in once she seen the red eye glowing.
"S... Shari..." she stuttered as she realize she couldn't talk anymore.
"You're the first person to see my eyes since I left my village all those years ago. Now I got to make sure you forget, so you don't go blabbering and ruin my plans." The Blue Devil said to the girl. "MANGEKYO SHARINGAN: GENJUTSU!" He called out as Mito soon collapsed to the ground. She's going to become a problem soon. He thought to himself.
He pulled out a storage scroll and opened it to reveal another mask. He threw the old one atop of the Uzumaki girl and put the new one on. "A souvenir." He spoke to the unconscious girl.
He walked back to the group to see Kakashi and Gai now protecting Kojiro with the Genin. "Alright, it seems I can't kill Kojiro with you lot in the way. Time to air out dirty laundry." The Blue Devil said.
Kojiro got tense. Something Kakashi Hatake took notice of. "Let me tell you the story of Uragiru Hitobito, during the last Great War, a man named Uragiru Hitobito was fighting for Iwa as a hired Mercenary. It was in that war where Minato Namikaze had killed 1,000 Iwagakure Ninja. In that lot, was Uragiru's brother. His brother was killed by the yellow flash and Hitobito was no where to be seen ever again. The underworld was confused and assumed him to be killed by the Yellow Flash." The Blue Mask Devil spoke.
Kojiro got more tensed. Everyone around him could feel something more to the story. "So, where is this Hitobito?" Gai asked.
"Uragiru Hitobito's next move was to kill the Yellow Flash. However, 12 years ago the Nine Tailed Fox killed the Fourth Hokage. His next target would become... Kakashi Hatake. He studied profusely in water style. However, he didn't think I would take his Tsunami technique from him and flood his village before he did it to Konohagakure." The Blue Devil spoke.
"So Kojiro..." Sakura spoke lowly.
"...is Uragiru Hitobito." Kakashi finsihed. The group turned around to see the man sweating profusely. "This wasn't part of our deal!" Uragiru yelled at the Blue Mask Devil.
"It was for me. My goals are different from yours. I wanted to test Team SevenPlus. I got that opportunity here." He said with a calm demeanor. He turned his attention to Kakashi. "Hatake, continue to improve your chakra reserves and train up that Jinchuriki more. Naruto is coming up well on his own. Be proactive because the next time we meet, I may not be an ally." The Blue Devil informed the Copy Ninja before using his Shunshin.
The Blue Devil appeared in between the two teams and Uragiru, "Fire Style: Inferno Incineration!" The Blue Devil called out. His eyes became wide and his screams could be heard around the world. Uragiru started to burn and his skin started to melt. Everyone watched in horror as Kojiro became a human puddle.
Fire Style too? Just who is this masked man? Kakashi had thought to himself. This mission was ridiculous. And what deal did Uragiru have with the Blue Devil? And he only tested our abilities. This man is powerful. Too powerful for the Leaf Village. He summarized in his head.
Sasuke walked back carrying Mito with a limping Naruto. "MITO!?" Sakura ran up and helped out. The hatred between Sakura and Mito had started to fizzle out and growing in its place was sisterly love. Kakashi seen the scene and smiled. He was happy his team cared for each other. What alarmed him was the shattered Mask Naruto had on his him.
As Team SevenPlus carried the redhead to the group, he inquired on the mask. "Say, where did you get that mask Naruto?" The team's Jonin waited for a response.
"I couldn't tell you, Mito had it lying on her." The half blood Uchiha responded.
"Interesting." Kakashi Hatake had replied.
"So now what Kakashi?" Might Gai asked as he put a hand on his rival's shoulder.
Kakashi looked at the puddle that was once Uragiru Hitobito. "We report back to the village and let Lord Hokage know of the situation." He informed his buddy.
Teams Three and SevenPlus made their way back home. Naruto was awaiting Mito to awaken. It was unlike his friend to stay knocked out this long. Sasuke noticed the worry in Naruto and hoped this wouldn't be permanent for Mito. The team was becoming something of a family to Sasuke.
"Don't worry, your friend Mito was able to do something we couldn't. Stay youthful and she will heal just fine!" Gai expressed in his usual demeanor.
"I am still wondering about that red chakra!" Lee exclaimed. "It was like she opened the fourth gate but her aura was red!" He added.
Might Gai and Kakashi froze in their tracks. Red chakra?! They both thought. "What are you referring to?" Kakashi asked.
"Mito's chakra became red and surround her." Tenten explained. Sakura, who was helping Sasuke carry Mito nodded.
"Yeah, it was weird. But the Blue Devil seemed worried." Haruno stated. Kakashi and Gai knew about the red chakra. They thought back to when they first seen the red aura from Mito.
Eventually the team made it back to the Hokage's residence. Mito had finally came to and was confused and couldn't remember what had happened. This was alarming to everyone and she was sent with Sakura to go see Inoichi.
Hiruzen took the report from Kakashi and told them all to relax for three days. Naruto and Sasuke made their way home and Team Three went to train some more.
Naruto wondered about what Kakashi had said of the last words from the Blue Devil. Fire Style and Water Style. He was able to put Mito in an unconscious state for hours. And he was only testing us all. Naruto thought. "Next time, we will beat him." He spoke aloud.
Sasuke who had thought the same thing nodded. "Hn, he got lucky." He added. The pair of Uchiha made it back home and Akane welcomed them. The rest of the day was spent wondering what the next mission would be like.

A lot of you are messaging me about the identity of the Blue Devil. Only one person has gotten it right. I won't confirm the masked man's identity, until the Shippuden era. Somewhere inside Claw Country's jungle was a Kunoichi. She was dressed in dark magenta tank top, black cargo pants, sandals of Shinobi, and black gloves on her hands. Her raven colored hair flowed wildly and Onyx eyes zeroed in on the target she labeled.
"The Uchiha will pay!" A girl cried out as she smashed another tree into pieces. She kept punching trees until there was nothing but a clearing left.
"My, my, you're certainly angry." A voice called out. The girl spun around and seen the person who spoke to her.
"Who are you?" She demanded to know. Her fist balled up and her eyes narrowed in on her potential enemy.
"I am nobody. However, I do have some information that may be useful to you and your goals." The man stated.
The girl started to lose her patience with this man. "I don't accept offers from people who hide their faces." She retorted.
The man didn't say anything as he stared at her.
The girl became unnerved by the sight. She started to move forward at the man until she realized she couldn't. "A shame you would try something like that." The man said, "I am not here to fight you, but I will end you if I have to. I come here with an offer."
Knowing she had no choice, she gave in. "What is this offer?" She questioned.
"I have been studying those Uchiha you referred to. Akane Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uchiha, and Itachi Uchiha." He replied. "In this bag is information to deal with Akane, Sasuke, and Naruto. I want Naruto and Sasuke removed from this plane of existence. Their power is yet to reach its full potential and even an inferior power like yours should be more than enough." The man said to her.
"How do you know of my power?" She questioned. She was truly startled. She had never displayed it in front of people she left alive.
The man sat down on a rock nearby, "I make it my business to know of my clan, or its branches in this case." The man stated.
The girl became tense. He knows exactly who I am. She thought to herself. She subconsciously held her hands together. "What do you want me to do?" She asked. The man laughed.
