I do not own Freddy Fazbear or any other Five Nights at Freddy's characters, only my own original characters. Now please enjoy!

Much had happened in under two hours, involving many emotions, crazy events, and even a fight, but not a word traveled between the party. Instead, silence hung low over the group of animatronics and one human, yet they merely pushed forward through the desolate hallways toward their destination.

Despite the lack of conversation, the journey was not without noise; their heavy footsteps echoed against the walls as they had done many times before, but now was different. Now a new sound joined as one of metal unwillingly scraping against the tile.

Iza could not see anything. The broken lights and lack of glasses ensured that, and while a light source existed in her hand, she could not move it.

The flashlight remained fixed on Sundrop; although the visibility from the flashlight was poor, it was enough to keep Moondrop at bay, for which everyone was thankful.

The silence was deafening; Iza could feel the overwhelming dread creeping through the atmosphere, especially as she carried her best friend's damaged and motionless form.

Her eyes were practically useless to her, but from her touch and the sound of several things moving around on him, Iza understood Inox was nowhere near intact. The same went for the other animatronics.

Because of his size, Freddy needed Sun and Monty to transport him. They slung his arms over their shoulders, but his height still caused his feet to drag against the unkept floor, creating the noise that continuously haunted and served as a constant reminder of the previous events.

Chica was the same way; however, Roxanne could pick her up off the floor, but Iza could hear it was a struggle. Iza held onto Roxy's other side for direction, and she would constantly hear small grunts as the wolf carried her friend.

Iza hated the situation, and she knew the others shared the same feeling, but something still didn't sit right with her.

She continued walking by Roxy's side as they traversed several hallways, through the main stage area, as indicated by the horrible stench, and down many different stairwells.

But with each step, the nagging feeling Iza tried to push away only grew stronger. Until finally, it dominated her thoughts. Was something after her?

Iza thought back to her discussion with Chica. She remembered how the STAFF bots were never activated before this, that it only started once Iza arrived.

Why had she gone there? Why had her dad kept it a secret? Why couldn't she think before she spoke? Why was she such a—

Before her thought could finish, a voice shook her from her trance. "Iza." It was Roxy.

Confused, Iza shook the thoughts from her head and returned to reality. "What?" Iza asked. "What is it?"

"We're here," Roxy responded.

Iza arched her brow. She could make out the flashlight's glare reflecting against something shiny through blurry vision.

Small beeps sounded from the darkness when suddenly the reflective surface parted ways with a heavy groan, scaring Iza. "You think I'd be used to these jumpscares by now," she mumbled, annoyed.

Holding onto Roxy, they moved through the open doorway; she continued until Roxy's hand indicated for her to stop. More beeps were heard, followed by the irritating sound and metal clanging.

The room went silent; quiet shuffling reached Iza's ears as the scraping of Freddy's feet ceased. "Put him over here," Monty said in a hushed tone.

Iza could hear Sun and Monty maneuver Freddy around in the dark before a gentle thud of metal meeting concrete was heard.

Following that, Roxy released her grip on Iza, and she gently pushed her to the ground; Iza obliged. Looking up, Iza could see Chica being set beside her in the glare of Roxy's optics.

Although something was off, only one beam came from her eyes; was Roxy closing one eye?

She sat on the ground with Inox still in her arms. "Wait here," Roxy instructed. "I'm going to find the light switch." She walked away, leaving Iza alone again. She watched as the blurry glow of the Glamrocks' optics scurried around the room.

Iza turned her head to the right; although it was dark, she knew the deactivated forms of the ones who tried to protect her lay only a few feet away.

Iza's heart felt heavy. Despite knowing the Glamrocks for only a few days, they risked their lives for her. On top of that, they also had a connection to her father that she didn't know about. The questions from earlier returned.

What was he hiding? That one, in particular, swirled in her mind over and over.

Man, she hated being alone with her thoughts, but those questions needed answers. What did Iza's father do before meeting her mom? Why did he buy this place? How did those robots attack them? What was that dream, and those eyes? Why couldn't she get that purple shine out of her head?

Her thoughts then turned back to Freddy. Why would he pro—

"Found it!" Monty announced before a blaze of light blinded Iza.

Any existing idea in her mind instantly disappeared as Iza recoiled in pain and slammed her eyelids shut. Iza tried to cover her eyes with her sleeve but found it rather tricky with Inox in her arms. "Little warning next time?"

"I did," Monty said, a smirk evident in his voice. "You just need to work on your reaction time, kid."

Iza growled, annoyed. Soft footsteps walked in front of her. "I can take him for a second," Sun said, his voice calmer in fear of frightening the girl again.

Despite wanting to, Iza didn't protest as she felt Inox leaving her arms. Sun placed Inox next to Chica then went and joined the others across the room.

After a few moments, Iza's eyes adjusted to the bright light. She stood up and looked to her left and saw the fuzzy forms of the animatronics. "So what is this place?" she asked, walking to the other side of the room.

"Parts and service," Monty responded. "It's where we came for repairs and upgrades when the place was operational."

Iza looked around and spied the outline of a human-sized desk in the corner with many papers strewn around it. "But I thought you guys couldn't perform major repairs to yourselves?" she asked as she walked over to the table and explored.

"We can't, we—" Roxy stopped mid-sentence. "What are you doing?"

Iza didn't face them. "Just looking around, or more like feeling, still can't see anything clearly."

"We'll have to deal with that," Monty stated. "We need you for the repair process."

"What do you mean?"

Monty turned around and started hitting buttons on a machine. "Because you are human, you'll be able to operate the more delicate machinery that's crucial for repairs."

"I'm happy to help in any way I can." Iza smiled as she spoke, then she froze mid-movement.

Her fingers grazed over something that felt familiar, glasses. Although, from what she could tell, the glasses were more enormous than her old ones, they had a thick black frame and were definitely more heavy-duty.

Excitement rushed through her, she placed them on, and instantly the world became clear. Shock spread across her face; Iza took off the glasses and placed them back on several times.

"What are you doing now, kid?" Monty called from across the room.

"Just solved our problem." Her face beamed. "I just found glasses with the same prescription as my old ones." Iza's voice radiated glee from her newfound item. She turned around then gasped harshly.

The Glamrocks whirled their heads around, locking their eyes on Iza. "What happened?" Roxy yelled.

Iza covered her mouth in horror as she stared at the animatronics. Then, for the first time since she woke up, Iza got a crystal clear look at the others; she could see every detail, including the damage done to their bodies.

Iza felt nauseous, Monty's jaw was severely crooked, and one of his arms was ripped clean off, with only half of that shoulder pad remaining. One of Roxy's eyes had been gouged out, and the once green and purple casing on her legs were gone or beyond repair.

She shifted her gaze to Sun, several of his yellow triangles were missing, and while he was not as severely injured, the fabric of his pants was ripped, stained, or scratched.

Finally, Iza looked over to Chica, Freddy, and Inox. Looking at Inox first, she saw part of his body was mangled as several limbs faced the wrong direction and dents littered his body, the worst being the deep one on his chest.

Chica sat next to him, eyes closed, but her beak and left leg were completely gone. But what frightened Iza the most was Freddy. A long crack ran across his chest, extending from his right hip to his left shoulder. His tophat was missing, and the casing on one of his ears was gone. Stab wounds from the STAFF bots' bludgeoning were all over his back while sparks flew from every exposed part of his endoskeleton.

Iza couldn't take it; she ran back and vomited into an empty trash can. Without a word, Sundrop rushed over and held up her hair as she once again emptied her stomach. She turned to the others and wiped the drool from her mouth when she finished. "What," she gulped. "What happened to you guys?! I thought you said you were fine!"

Monty looked at Roxy, then back at Iza. He lowered his gaze. "We didn't want to freak you out," he muttered. "I thought we could get ourselves fixed before you could see; I wasn't counting on glasses with your exact prescription to just be lying randomly in the Pizzaplex."

"Not cool!" Iza yelled, knowing they meant well. "Seriously, don't keep that from me."

Monty sighed deeply. "I'm sorry, Iza, we didn't expect a human such as yourself to react the way you did," he said. "But anyway, we need to focus on the topic at hand."

Iza gave him a strange look. "What do you mean? Why wouldn't a human react like that?"

"You acted like you saw a corpse."

"Any person in my position would have reacted similarly," Iza explained. "I mean, who wouldn't when a sentient being looks the way you guys do right now."

Everyone looked at her like she was crazy. "What are you talking about? Sure, humans would get scared, but they wouldn't react the way you did, especially over some animatronics in a kids' pizzeria."

"Because humans and robotics live together?" Iza shouted back, then paused. "Wait, do you guys not know?"

"Know what?"

Iza's mouth dropped. "You all really have been cut off from the outside world for a decade, haven't you?"

"WHAT ARE YOU GETTING AT?!" Sun questioned; Iza jumped at his voice.

She shook off her surprise and sighed. "It requires a long explanation, so I'll tell you after."

"Okay?" Monty replied, utterly baffled by her response. "Let's just get to work."

Everyone nodded and joined him at the machinery. Iza could now see a giant surgical table with robotic arms hanging overhead. The entire area was surrounded by a large glass cylinder with one control panel on both sides of the barrier.

Monty's hand fiddled with the outside control panel. "Everything seems to be in working order. We just need to remove the chips and get their bodies inside for repair." He turned to Roxy and Sun. "Can you guys get their chips out and ensure no damage occurred?"

"Yes," Roxy said as Sundrop nodded. "I'll handle Chica. Sun, you get Freddy."

Iza followed them over to the others, the sight of them still haunting her, and watched as Roxy leaned Chica forward so that her neck was exposed. She inspected the nape and tapped her back before a slight click was heard; a similar process happened with Freddy.

Roxy grabbed something from Chica's neck before returning her to the previous position. "What is that?" Iza asked as she walked closer. She adjusted the new glasses, which slightly fell from her face.

"It's Chica's customization chip," Roxy answered, holding it up. "It contains all our personality programming."

"Like your basic movement controls and what not?" Iza inquired.

"No, more like our emotions, likes, dislikes, et cetera."

"In other words, it's what makes you you?"

"Correct," Monty hollered from across the room. "Our basic programming is on a different piece of hardware in our bodies. These chips were designed for easy removal if we needed serious maintenance."

"Are all the chips the same design?"

"Yes."

Iza hummed in response, then focused closely on Chica's chip. There was something familiar about it. "Hey Roxy, can I see Chica's chip for a second?" Roxy stared at her, reluctance painted all over her face over handing over what was basically her best friend. "It's alright if you say no, but I promise I won't do anything."

Roxy looked over at Monty and Sun, who gave her a slight nod. "Okay, but be careful." She said those words slowly. "If anything happens to this chip, Chica is gone, forever."

The human looked at the wolf's one eye and nodded in understanding. Roxy delicately placed the computer chip onto Iza's cupped hands.

Iza inspected the fragile piece of hardware in the bright lighting. Eventually, she flipped the silver thing over and saw two small golden lines running horizontally across the surface; her eyes widened. "I knew I'd seen this somewhere before!" Iza cheered, excited.

Her reaction surprised the Glamrocks; they watched her kneel beside Inox and lean him forward like Roxy did to Chica. Then, she gingerly positioned his head, and a slightly different colored panel from the rest of his silver body was revealed.

Iza tapped it and another small click emitted from the android as something ejected from his body. Iza grabbed the object then laid Inox back down.

With Chica's chip in her left hand and the object from Inox in her right, Iza walked back over to Roxy. Sun now joined them, leaving Monty to continue tinkering with the machinery.

Holding up the object, Iza smiled. "I knew I recognized this chip. Inox has the same model." She pinched the chips with her fingers and held them up for all to see.

Roxy's eye stared in disbelief. "She's right; they're identical."

"AND FROM THE LOOKS OF IT, ALSO INSTALLED SIMILARLY!" Sun added, this time spooking Roxy and Iza.

Footsteps sounded behind them as Monty made his way over to the group. He examined the chips then turned to Iza. "Hey kid, who built Inox?"

"Dad did," Iza replied, handing Chica's chip back to Roxy and holding Inox's in a secure grip. "He made a career of building androids, animatronics, robots, you name it."

"Really?"

"Yeah, as a kid, I watched him build many, mostly for government or medical use, but he also made quite a bit of money from doing commissions for carnivals and pizzerias." Iza smiled at the memory. "Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if that's how he managed to buy this place. He made decent money."

The Glamrocks blinked at her surprise. "What?" she asked, confused.

Roxy glimpsed at the others, then Iza. "Nothing, we didn't know that about Gregory."

"Yeah, but it seems there were many things we didn't know about him." Monty rubbed his neck. "We always knew him as Gregory Anderson. After Vanessa adopted him, he took her last name and continued to come here while he grew up. He actually started working as a mechanic when he was sixteen."

Iza tilted her head, astonished to learn more about her secretive dad's past. "I didn't know that." She scratched her hand. "Although I have heard the name Gregory Anderson before, Dad used it as a pseudonym when he went to conferences or for his published books about robotic engineering."

She paused and continued to itch her hand. "How long did he work here?"

Monty scratched his chin. "If I recall correctly, he became the head mechanic here in his twenties and continued until maybe his late thirties," Monty laughed. "He personally fixed us up, but then…" His voice trailed off.

"Then what?"

"He just stopped coming," Monty whispered; Roxy and Sun hung their heads. "Two years before we shut down, we said goodbye to him after a normal shift, then never heard from him or Vanessa again. A few months later, Freddy had an accident and was decommissioned as an official Glamrock, but remained the face of the company and operated in the Fazer Blast attraction for the fans. I took over the show, and we gained a new animatronic, Mr. Hip Hop Hippo." Monty took what sounded like a deep breath after his long-winded speech.

"Mr. Hip Hop Hippo?" Iza stifled her laughter.

"Yeah, we thought it was ridiculous too," Monty chuckled. "We called him Mr. Hippo for short."

"What happened to him?"

"Decommissioned and scrapped only months after his first operation."

Sadness filled Iza's eyes. "I'm sorry."

Roxy snorted. "Don't be," she grumbled. "Dude was a pain in the tail; he could never shut up."

Iza looked at the others, and they nodded in agreement. "DIDN'T MATTER ANYWAY!" Sun butted in. "BECAUSE WE WERE SHUT DOWN ABOUT A YEAR LATER!"

Iza gazed around at the animatronics, blindsided by all the new information about them and her dad. She stuttered. "I'm sorry, I don't know how to react to all that. I mean you, my dad, it just—"

"Has more questions than answers?" Roxy finished.

"Yeah," Iza breathed deeply and ran a bandaged hand through her hair. "Hopefully, we can figure it out, but we should probably get back to fixing you guys." She tried to change the subject.

"GOOD IDEA!" Sun said as he bounced over to the deactivated form of Freddy. "SHOULD WE HANDLE MR. FAZBEAR FIRST?"

"I think that would work," Monty agreed. "But there is a problem."

Everyone turned to him. "What is it?" Roxy asked.

Monty walked back towards the control panel with everyone behind him. "I ran a diagnostic check on the equipment, and the systems seem to be in perfect working order, but the problem is, the machine's inventory is out of several things. Most notably outer casings."

"You mean like what could replace Roxy's legs?" Iza asked, confused by the lingo.

"Yeah."

"No problem then," Roxy said. "I'll just go and get some from the storage unit. We know there is plenty to spare."

"You're not wrong, but the problem is only a human can access the area that contains the specific parts we need." Monty glanced down; his voice seemed to hate saying those words.

Roxy froze. "Absolutely not!" she blurted out. "I am not taking Iza there; it's too dangerous!"

Monty sighed. "Trust me, I am one hundred percent on your side, but the entrance to the storage unit is too small for an animatronic to enter. I would immediately do it if there was another way, but there isn't."

"I'll do it." Roxy turned around. "If it will save Freddy, Chica, Inox and repair you guys, I'm on board."

"No!" Roxy repeated. "Way too dangerous!"

Iza gritted her at Roxy's words. "What's dangerous?" Iza demanded. "Because over about two days, I have been battered, bruised, knocked out, chased at least five times by taller than six-foot animatronics, lost my glasses, beat several robots with a severed STAFF bot arm, and saw my family being beaten alive! How much more dangerous could it possibly be?!"

Roxy froze, her features softened. "You see us as family?"

Iza stopped; her cheeks turned red in embarrassment as she tried to backtrack. "I-I mean if you guys don't—"

She was immediately cut off by Roxy pulling her into a hug. The others moved closer; Sun joined the hug while Monty placed a comforting hand on her head. "What's going on?"

Roxy laughed. "You have no idea how much that means to us," she whispered, hugging Iza tighter as if she would never let go. "Especially from you."

"Wait, really?" Iza looked up at Monty.

"Yeah, but tell the others that once we get them back online."

"I will, but please let me help; I feel responsible for the state you guys are in," Iza breathed. "Let me help fix you."

Roxy released her then made eye contact with Monty; she grumbled. "Fine, but you need to listen to everything I say."

"Deal!" Iza giggled.

"I mean it, Iza," Roxy said earnestly. "You must follow my every word."

"I promise."

Roxy nodded, then stood up. "Let's go then."

"Okay." Iza turned to Sun. "Can you keep an eye on Inox's chip for me?"

"WOULD BE MY PLEASURE!"

"Thanks, Sun!" Iza beamed. "You're the best!" She placed the delicate piece into Sun's hands then ran to catch up with Roxy. Flashlight in hand, Iza stood next to Roxy as Monty punched a code on the wall.

"Be careful," Monty instructed. "Or Fazbear will have my head." The door screeched open, and they walked through. Monty retyped the code as soon as they were out, closing the door behind them.

The girls laughed, then Roxy's face grew stoic. "Iza, once we leave this area, you need to follow my rules to the letter."

The human nodded. "Okay, what are they?"

Roxy placed her hands on Iza's shoulder in a tight yet gentle grip. "One, you are to never leave my side, don't even break contact. Two, don't touch anything unless I tell you. Three if you feel uncomfortable, shine your light in their eyes."

Iza gulped, and a shiver went down her spine. "Their eyes?" Roxy released Iza's shoulders as Iza wrapped her arm around Roxy's. Together they walked down the corridor then took a sharp turn left from where they had come in. "What do you mean? Is it STAFF bots?"

Roxy shook her head then growled. "Worse." They turned the corner, and Iza's breath hitched. Dozens of robotic glowing optics as tall as Monty stared at the newcomers, specifically Iza.

Iza clung tighter to Roxy's arm. "What are they?"

"Endos."
