White pupils stared at Freddy; Music Man's eyes were filled with concern after hearing his friend's plan. "Freddy," he said hesitantly, unsure of how to respond. "Are you sure about this? We can take the other path."
Blue eyes gazed back at Music Man before turning away; Freddy stared at the ceiling while leaning his head against the wall. Finally, he sighed deeply and rubbed his eyes, exhaustion overcoming him. Although Freddy was an animatronic, his dying battery made everything difficult.
Freddy grumbled tiredly and turned his head to the right; he spied the endos' shadows dancing along the wall, their red eyes casting an eerie glow. Freddy clenched his teeth. "Mindless beasts," he growled, disgusted at their existence.
He was lost in thought when someone called out. "Freddy?"
Freddy snapped from his daze and turned around; it was Music Man. "Are you alright?" he asked, concerned. "Lost you there for a second."
"Hm?" Freddy responded and rubbed his eyes again. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." He lowered his hands and saw Iza; his eyes trailed downward and landed on her arm. Freddy's ears drooped.
He closed his eyes. "But to answer your question, DJ." Freddy looked at Music Man. "I don't like this idea; however, it's our only option."
Watching his eyes, Iza saw where Freddy looked and quickly covered her arm to not worry him anymore. Iza clicked her tongue. "Sorry to interrupt, but what's wrong with going the other way?" she asked, changing the subject.
After hiding her arm, Freddy slightly raised his gaze and met her brown eyes. "It's nothing with the path itself, Iza, but our batteries would never make the long journey. Going through the endos is the shortest path."
Freddy grew quiet and rubbed his neck. His fingers grazed the metal pole sticking out of his casing and recoiled once he felt it pushing against his voice box; he grimaced at the feeling. "Besides." His eyes returned to Iza's. "I'm not willing to risk you being left alone if we deactivate."
Iza furrowed her brow. "And the only way past them is by pretending to be one?"
Freddy nodded. "That's correct."
Music Man stared at Freddy, unsatisfied with his answer. "What about you?"
Freddy faced him. "What about me?"
Music Man grumbled. "Freddy." He rubbed his arm. "This idea, it's not good. You don't have to endure that kind of strain, especially after what happened."
Freddy lowered his gaze and then looked at his hands; his blue claw tips were crusted with dry blood. He clenched his fist. "Because I have to," he said softly.
Music Man tilted his head. "What did you say?"
Freddy's eyes widened, and he relaxed his hand. "Nothing." Then made eye contact with Music Man. "But please, trust me on this. It's the best option for Iza's sake."
Iza and Music Man exchanged a nervous glance. Then, after a moment, Music Man sighed. "Fine," he muttered reluctantly. "But I still hate this plan."
Freddy's eyes brightened, and he flashed a small smile. "Thank you, DJ."
Music Man rolled his eyes. Freddy turned to Iza; his joy faded and grew serious. "Iza?" he said, gaining her attention. "Before we go, do you understand what you must do once we enter parts and service?"
Staring up at Freddy, Iza didn't respond as she held up her left arm where the fazwatch was clasped about her wrist; her eyes trailed downward and settled on the dim glow of the green and orange buttons emitting from the screen.
Last resorts; Freddy's words repeated over in her head. Although Iza didn't fully understand what was going on, she sided with Music Man; she didn't like this plan. In fact, she received a sinking feeling as every fiber of her being screamed red flags at the idea.
However, despite the uneasiness, Iza agreed. "I do," she responded, her heart pounding nervously.
Freddy noticed her jittery state and sighed internally. He faced her. "Good, I'm glad," he breathed.
After raising his head, Freddy stood and picked Music Man up before facing Iza again. "How are your injuries?" he asked.
Surprised, Iza met his gaze and then rotated both arms; she winced at the soreness. "Right arm still hurts, but my left isn't too bad," she answered. "Why?"
"I will need both hands while we walk, so I need you to carry Music Man," he uttered, reluctance in his voice. "But I don't want to strain your body if it's too much."
Iza looked up and then stretched her arms. "I can do it; I'm stronger than I look." Iza flashed a toothy and goofy grin.
Seeing her face, Freddy chuckled at her remark. "I don't doubt that, but are you sure? You already have to carry your bag."
Iza glanced down at the dusty duffle bag and waved dismissively. "It's honestly not that heavy; I can manage."
Freddy stared hesitantly but nodded. "Okay." And then handed her Music Man.
Iza grabbed hold of the tiny spider; she huffed under the new weight but quickly adjusted. She maneuvered Music Man so that he looked over her shoulder while his legs rested on Iza's arms. "Comfortable?" she asked.
Music Man gave a thumbs up. "I'm good."
She smiled and looked at Freddy. "We're ready if you are."
"Alright." He took a deep breath and then waved them over.
With Music Man in hand, Iza joined Freddy's side. She stood at his left and craned her neck to meet his eyes. "While we walk, hold onto me." He stopped and knelt down. "Iza?" he asked, gaining her full attention. "After we exit this hall, do not let go of me unless I say so."
Iza nodded. "I won't," she responded, her voice serious.
Freddy stood and faced forward, then he flinched. Iza had wrapped her arm around his waist and surprised Freddy; he tensed at her touch but eventually relaxed. After calming his nerves, Freddy looked down. "Ready?"
Brown and white eyes watched him, then nodded; Freddy returned the gesture and closed his eyes. Staring into the hallway, Freddy went silent as his blue glow slipped from view. A few seconds passed, Freddy grunted quietly, then opened his eyes and revealed a bright crimson hue.
Iza's jaw dropped, and Music Man stared, both stunned at the sight. Although calm, Iza gulped nervously; the previous event flooded her mind as she thought about the red-eyed animatronics. She quickly shook her head, pushing away the thought.
Freddy's gaze locked onto the hallway, preparing himself, then spoke. "Let's go."
Iza tightened her hold on Freddy as he began walking into the hall. As they stepped from the darkness, Iza silently hissed and squinted her eyes as they adjusted to the light. A moment later, she opened her eyes and instantly regretted it.
Standing before the trio were dozens of endos; their slumped metal frames lined the hall and wandered aimlessly while their red eyes cast an eerie glow over the corridor. Despite their clunky and large bodies, their footsteps were silent, barely above an audible thump.
Iza shuddered; now, the real test would begin. Without warning, Freddy started forward, surprising Iza. It was challenging to follow Freddy's movements because they were strange; his body was slouched and slightly zombie-like.
Freddy stopped every ten feet or so before moving again, his motions slow and a bit sporadic. Iza realized he was imitating the endos; aware of Freddy's plan, Iza soon mimicked his speed and motion without drawing attention to herself.
Eventually, the two moved in sync. However, Freddy was leading the pack. Because Iza merely copied his actions, she kept her gaze low, high enough to see the hall without meeting the endos' eyes.
For several minutes, she watched the endos go by. They would stop and probably stare at the three; their feet were the only part Iza could see.
Although their faces were not visible, the endos stopping when they went by reminded Iza of their white-eyed counterparts she'd first experienced with Roxy. A chill went through her spine when Iza remembered the encounter.
More time passed, they'd been moving for a while, and nothing occurred. And finally, Iza's initial fear started subsiding with each step they took, and her mind began to ease. That was until she heard light groaning. Baffled by the sound, Iza listened carefully; it was coming from Freddy.
She raised her gaze enough to see the glow of Freddy's red eyes flash blue across the room before turning red again.
Iza furrowed her brow, an uneasy feeling emerging; was Freddy okay?
However, as quickly as it started, Freddy went quiet, and his eyes returned to normal before continuing. Iza bit her lip and then sighed; the reaction was probably nothing. Finally, she regained her composure and looked forward.
Five more uneventful minutes went by, and Iza started to calm again; something tugged her sleeve. Confused, she glanced to the left but kept her gaze low; Iza looked over and saw Music Man staring off behind them.
Iza shrugged her left shoulder and got his attention; she mouthed what's wrong? Music Man didn't respond as he raised a shaking hand and pointed behind them. Iza knitted her brow, peeked over her right shoulder, and the color drained from her face.
Less than a hundred feet away were the endos. They marched in formation, row after row, creating an army of red-eyed endoskeletons which only grew in numbers as Freddy passed more of them.
Iza gulped and swiftly turned around; thoughts raced through her head as her panic began to rise. Several possibilities circulated in her mind until a sudden stop wrenched her back to reality.
She sucked in a sharp breath when Freddy halted abruptly; his hand flew upward then froze mid-air. Iza's gaze shot up to see Freddy's eyes changing from red to blue and back again; slightly pained grunts followed.
Her previous fears resurfaced as Iza watched Freddy recover and keep moving like nothing happened. Iza's face scrunched worriedly, scared Freddy was beginning to struggle with those red eyes.
Freddy walked normally for a while, and the concern began to exit her mind when she felt another tug from Music Man. Despite not wanting to look, Iza cracked and faced Music Man.
She saw him pointing again, and reluctantly she looked; Iza felt nauseous at the sight. The endos' numbers had grown greater, their crimson glow brightening and much closer than before; now, the endos were only fifty feet away.
Iza began to tremble and tapped Freddy with her right arm, trying to gain his attention. At first, Freddy ignored her attempts, but it became increasingly more difficult with her taps getting progressively faster and harder.
Finally, after the umpteenth smack to his casing, Freddy's head snapped toward her. He glowered at Iza, irritation in his eyes. However, it quickly faded when he saw the terrified look on her face.
Concern replaced annoyance, and he watched Iza raise a shaking hand. Perplexed by her reaction, Freddy glanced over his left shoulder and went wide-eyed. The horde of endos stalked closer, only forty feet of distance remaining.
Freddy blinked. He'd never seen the endos behaving like this before; he tried to look closer but recoiled as the pain returned. He muffled a cry and clenched his right fist as something shot through his body, and Freddy halted.
Suddenly Freddy's eyes flew open and blazed the brightest blue before returning to red; he groaned in agony. After a moment, his pain subsided and was quickly replaced by horror.
The endos also stopped but stared at something while their mouths hung open and their heads tilted to the side. Freddy followed their gaze; they were peering at Iza.
The corridor was silent and motionless; until that point, the endos never made a sound. Their footsteps were noiseless as they walked. But now, they were audible as they slowly moved toward the group.
Freddy's eyes widened, and he didn't hesitate as he grabbed Iza's waist and slung her over his shoulder before bolting down the hall. Iza gasped as she was lifted into the air and faced the endos.
The endos gave chase, sprinting through the hall after Freddy with their eyes still locked on Iza. She clung to Freddy while gripping Music Man tightly; the jerky motion was beginning to make her ill.
Through the halls he ran, Freddy turned down corridor after corridor, trying to lose the endos as they remained hot on their heels. Iza breathed heavily when she saw the endos gaining speed. "Freddy!" she cried.
Freddy's eyes darted around, then he saw a single light down an empty hallway. "There!" he yelled. Freddy turned sharply and kept running as he heard several endos crash into the wall while the others kept chasing.
Holding on tight, Iza looked back and saw the light over a metal door; her eyes brightened. It was parts and service. "Hang on!" she heard Freddy shout as he sped up, leaving the endos behind.
Freddy rushed forward and, in one motion, skidded to a stop at the door and set Iza down, his red eyes illuminating the dark area. He looked back and snarled at the endos drawing closer. "Get this door open," he ordered and sprinted down the hall.
Iza watched in shock before Music Man broke her trance. "Iza!" he shouted. "Raise me up!"
Without responding, Iza hoisted him to the keypad, ignoring the pain in her arms. She heard the buttons beep as he typed the code and watched the scene unfold.
Freddy charged toward the endos at an incredible speed. He raised his arms and barreled into the endos' front line; their bodies fell to the floor as Freddy's larger frame decapitated several of them.
He turned to the others and roared. Freddy lunged at the endos; his claws scraped, swiped, and tore into the metal frames. Sparks flew from the contact and briefly illuminated the hall. One against several dozen, Freddy managed to hold off the small endos as they bore down on him in waves.
One by one, they fell when suddenly Freddy was set upon by three endos. Using their combined strength, Freddy was knocked violently to the ground. His back hit the cement, and his casing cracked. The force pushed the metal bar deeper into his endoskeleton, and Freddy cried out in pain.
Two endos pounded against his lying form while Freddy protected himself with his arms, and the last endo took advantage of the situation by running past them; Iza screamed.
Freddy looked back and saw the endo sprinting toward her.
"Iza!" he shrieked, then turned to the endos. With inhuman strength, Freddy kicked the endos' knees and crippled them to the ground. Then, he leaped from the floor and quickly smashed their heads before beelining for Iza.
Several meters separated Freddy from the endo, who was only twenty feet from Iza. Without thinking, Freddy grabbed the pole in his neck and yanked it out. The force tugged on wires and scraped against his voice box until it finally came free.
Freddy roared in pain, then catapulted the bar; it soared through the air, collided, and embedded itself within the endo's cranium. The bar pierced its head before exiting through the left optic.
The endo instantly deactivated and fell to the ground, skidding across the floor and stopping mere inches from Iza's feet. She stared wide-eyed and mouth agape at the scene. Wasting no time, Freddy raced after, arriving just as Music Man typed the final digit.
The door creaked open when Freddy reached his friends; he dislodged the pole from the endo's body before shoving Iza and Music Man inside. Freddy could hear the endos nearly upon them as he jumped inside and smashed the close button.
As the door closed, an endo burst through the entrance, its body caught between the wickets. Freddy growled as he shoved the endo back and kept holding the close button. More footsteps quickly approached before Freddy started bashing the bar against the endo's body.
After several tries, the bar broke the endo's arm and head; the robotic parts fell inward, and Freddy shoved the rest of the endo back before the doors slammed shut. Moments later, loud bangs echoed through the room as the remaining endos collided with the sealed door. Their barrage lasted several minutes until it suddenly went quiet.
Everyone waited then violently jumped when a final straggler beat against the door, and the silence returned.
Everything stood still as they waited for more, but after several minutes nothing came. Music Man looked around then began chuckling; soon, he laughed hysterically as relief washed over him.
"We did it!" he cheered, throwing his hands in the air after Iza set him down. Then, Music Man turned to his larger friend. "Way to go, Freddy!"
Iza joined in the celebration; she smiled brightly and then stopped. Her happiness subsided as she looked at Freddy; he was still in his previous position, ready to fight while staring at the sealed door.
Iza nudged Music Man, who saw Freddy's behavior. He shrugged at Iza and called out. "Freddy?"
Freddy didn't respond and continued looking at the door. Music Man's joy wavered. "Are you good?" he asked again.
Still no answer.
Iza and Music Man looked at each other, worried. Furrowing her brows, Iza walked over to Freddy but stopped halfway when she heard the familiar grunting. "Freddy?" Slowly, Iza walked closer and came around his right side.
Suddenly everyone jolted when Freddy's grip on the bar loosened, and it clattered noisily to the floor. Iza's body shook from the scare but quickly calmed and continued forward. As she drew closer, Iza could see Freddy's head twitch.
At first, it was small, but his face thrashed violently within seconds. "Freddy!" Iza yelled and ran to his side. Immediately the shaking stopped, Freddy's hand slapped over his face, his body relaxed, and Freddy stopped wincing; Iza thought she saw a blue flash through the cracks of his fingers.
She walked next to him. "Freddy?" Iza placed a gentle hand on his arm. "Are you alright?"
He didn't reply, then Freddy's arm dropped, his eyes out of view. A quiet chuckle escaped him, and a grin crossed his face. "Finally."
Iza halted, surprised at his voice. "Freddy?"
Freddy ignored her again and continued his mutterings. "I did it."
He was louder; Iza furrowed her brow. She thought his voice was strange. It sounded glitchier, more robotic. Iza shook the thought away and straightened her back before calling out. "Freddy, what are you talking about?"
She was utterly baffled at this point; Freddy had just had a stroke and was now whispering bizarre things to himself. "Freddy, please answer. Are you okay?"
"After all this time."
Iza rested both hands on his arm now and stared with worry-filled eyes. "After what? Freddy, what happened?"
Freddy raised his hand again and stared at his claws. "After all this time," he repeated, his voice filling with childish glee as he spoke. "I'm finally in control!"
Suddenly Iza screamed; her body was thrown back as something struck her head, and warm liquid began to run down her face. Iza had the wind knocked out of her as she roughly hit the ground.
She groaned in pain and placed a hand on her cheek. When she pulled it back, her eyes nearly burst as she stared at her blood-covered hand. Iza's gaze shot upward, and her adrenaline spiked.
Standing over Iza was Freddy. His face was twisted into a sadistic smile while his eyes blazed a deep red. He flashed his artificial fangs. "After all these years!" Freddy hollered, his psychotic laughter echoing through the room. "I'm finally in control of Freddy Fazbear!"
Iza began hyperventilating as Freddy took a step closer. Music Man watched, horrified. "Iza!" he yelled and started to move.
Freddy's head snapped toward the smaller animatronic. "Freeze, Funtime!" Music Man stopped dead as a clawed hand pointed at him. "Take one more step, and I'll kill her here and now."
Music Man didn't move a finger; the larger animatronic smirked. "Good, that's better." Then his gaze returned to Iza. "Now, let me see."
The animatronic knelt down and shoved his face closer to Iza. The terrified girl cupped her cheek as more blood seeped through her fingers. "Freddy?" she trembled, her chest heaved, and her voice cracked.
He grinned. The animatronic stepped back and held up his right hand. He smiled as the light glistened off the crimson liquid. It slowly dripped down his blue claws and onto the orange palm. "Quite a beautiful color, don't you think?" he chuckled quietly, admiring the gruesome sight. "I always did prefer red over blue."
"You know there's so much I want to say; it's the first time I've had a voice before," he continued. "But that was satisfying. I've waited years to do that. Unfortunately, it wasn't Gregory, but I suppose his daughter is the next best thing." He smirked at Iza.
Iza remained silent, and her body trembled wildly as the animatronic got in her face again; he scanned her features. "Another thing, I never really saw the resemblance between you and Gregory." His gaze shifted upward. "Apart from the eyes, you don't look a thing like your father."
Crimson eyes lowered and spied the two bloodied marks on Iza's face. "Although those gashes will make you look much more like him, Gregory received a scar just like yours from Vanny when he was twelve."
Iza's heart stopped when she remembered her dad. "F-Freddy?" Her voice quaked uncontrollably.
The animatronic stared and then burst into laughter. "Wow," he said, standing to his full height. "Glitchtrap was right; you are slow." He hovered over her. "Allow me to make this clear. Freddy is unavailable, although I'd happily pass along any messages."
He took his eyes off Iza and scanned the area. "However, that might not be necessary; the scenery speaks for itself."
"Who are you?" Iza and the animatronic turned to Music Man, who glared daggers at him, his angry voice sounding through the fazwatch.
The animatronic smiled. "Don't act like you don't know, Music Man." His tone grew darker. "After all, you experienced the same thing as him."
Music Man's pupils shrank. "What?"
The animatronic flashed a toothy grin. "Maybe my sentience is the problem here," he cackled. "Let's just say you had the same program forty-one years ago."
Music Man stared then slowly raised his head as the realization dawned on him. "You're the glitch. You're the virus that infected us years ago!" His tone grew angrier. "How the hell did you—"
"Language," the animatronic interrupted while scratching his chipped ears. "Seems your time being a Glamrock didn't stop the Funtime programming. Quite the vocabulary you have."
Music Man growled. "Where's Freddy? What did you do to him?!"
The animatronic rolled his eyes. "Relax, he's fine. He's merely taking a small nap while I have some fun."
"What do you want?!"
A tiny smile crossed his lips. "Nothing really," he hummed. "I merely wish to finish the job I was programmed to do."
His eyes returned to Iza, and he sighed dramatically. "Unfortunately, that's not possible anymore, so the objective has changed."
"And that is?"
"End the Fasben line." His gaze snapped to Iza again. The animatronic raised his claw above his head, ready to strike.
Iza's eyes widened as she tried to scoot away, her injured body making it tricky. Psychotic laughter filled the air as the animatronic's crazed eyes glowed brighter. "Say goodbye, Iza!" Then he swung his arm down.
Iza slammed her eyes shut, waiting for the impact. "No, no!" he cried.
Confused, Iza cracked open an eye and stared in shock. The animatronic's claws were stuck mid-air, and his body shook in place. Her gaze raised, and Iza's jaw dropped; his mouth was twisted into an enraged snarl as his optics flashed red and blue.
"No!" he roared, struggling against an invisible force. "Just a few more seconds."
Suddenly the animatronic's arm jerked back and locked to his side. He fought against himself, struggling to regain control of his body as it moved independently. "You…will not…do this now!"
He managed to reach a claw toward Iza before he flew back. The force slammed the animatronic into the glass barrier; a colossal dent was left in the wall. The optics flashed red and blue while the animatronic's body started to move again.
His legs stumbled forward and turned him around; his eyes widened when he began to enter the repair machine and the glass door shut behind him. "No!"
The animatronic walked further and fell onto the table, wrenching violently as he struggled to stand. While watching, Music Man realized what was happening. He yelled. "Iza! Press the green button!"
Snapping from shock, Iza raised her arm, aimed the watch at the animatronic, and smashed the green icon. Instantly the endoskeleton went still and laid motionless on the table. However, despite being unable to move, the animatronic's eyes flashed while his voice sounded.
As the moments passed, the irate yelling turned to unhinged laughter. "You think this will stop him?!" the animatronic howled hysterically. "You really believe that a minor inconvenience like yourself will halt his plans?!"
Iza stared, and her shaking arms fell to the side.
"Little princess!" he cackled. "How wrong you are! This round has only begun!"
"Iza!" Music Man yelled, running up to her. "Press the orange button!"
"You will not escape him, Iza Fasben!" The optics became strobe lights as the red and blue flashing went haywire. "He will find you! He has found them all!"
"Press the second button! Iza!"
Suddenly a robotic voice different from Music Man's sounded from the fazwatch. "Seventeen seconds until animatronic mobility."
Psychotic laughter screamed Iza's name. "Listen well, princess."
Sixteen seconds.
"Your days are numbered!"
Fifteen seconds.
"Iza, press the button!"
Fourteen seconds.
"My master may have never won the game, but he always leaves a mark!"
Thirteen seconds.
"Iza! Press it!"
Twelve seconds.
"Time takes its toll, and one by one, those wounds become scars!"
Eleven seconds.
"Iza!"
Ten seconds.
"And round after round, they run deeper!"
Nine seconds.
"Press it!"
Eight seconds.
"If not by his hand, then given through ours!"
Seven seconds.
"Iza!"
Six seconds.
"Each child handed a gift from the reaper!"
Five seconds.
"Iza!"
Four seconds.
"From mother to son, it happened to Gregory!"
Three seconds.
"Iza, snap out of it!"
Two seconds.
"Now, it has occured once more, from grandfather to you!"
One second.
Everything went silent. The final bits of laughter echoed off the walls as the flashing lights vanished from sight and the animatronic wholly deactivated. Music Man stared, his mind racing as he slowly turned around.
Standing above him was Iza, her left arm outstretched while her bloodied right hand covered the fazwatch screen. Her body heaved, and her heart raced; blood and sweat dripped from her face as she stared emotionlessly at Freddy's deactivated body.
Music Man stared, wide-eyed. He moved closer and gently touched her leg. "Iza?"
Music Man jumped as Iza released a deep breath and began coughing, trying to clear her throat; Iza's chest heaved after holding her breath for so long.
"Iza!" Music Man said, returning the favor as she was startled by his voice. Iza scanned him. "Are you okay?" he asked.
When her panic finally calmed, Iza averted her gaze and looked at Freddy. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Music Man looked at her, worried. He looked at her face and saw the crimson covering her body. Music Man sighed and rubbed his head; he walked to the control panel and climbed up. After a moment, he pressed a button.
Iza blinked. "What did you do?"
Music Man hopped off the panel. "Interrupted the recharge process, Freddy won't be able to activate, and we'll have more time." He scanned Iza again. "But first, let's get you patched up."
She didn't react apart from nodding once; Music Man sighed and went to find the first aid kit. For the next twenty minutes, they cleaned and bandaged Iza's wounds; they worked in silence as Iza wasn't in a chatty mood.
Once finished, Iza walked over to the machine and began the memory game. She watched as the mechanical arms removed damaged parts, replaced wires, and gave Freddy a fresh look.
The process took around a half-hour before they were finally done; Iza entered the machine and replaced Freddy's customization chip.
She turned and heard Music Man clap. "Ugh," he groaned.
Iza raised a brow. "What's wrong?"
"My battery's finally dying." Music Man's words were slow and deep. "Can you help me with the charger?"
Iza nodded and picked up her tiny friend. She followed where Music Man pointed and rested him on the desk. "Grab the wire over there, then plug it into the back of my tophat."
She walked over to a filing cabinet with a small black box on top; she returned with the item and did as instructed. A beep sounded from the charger as Music Man made eye contact with her. "Iza?"
She looked at him.
"Thank you for everything." His words grew slower. "You're the beeesstttt." Then Music Man was deactivated entirely.
His voice vanished, and everything went silent, leaving Iza alone. She didn't move; she didn't do anything except stare at Music Man's inactive form.
Then suddenly, Iza's heart began to beat faster, her mind began to spin, and her breathing increased. Iza's stern face slowly melted into that of distress as her legs became weak, and she backed up.
Her body hit the far wall, and Iza slowly slid down, the previous events washing over her. Iza's vision grew blurry, and she started taking deep breaths trying to control herself, but it was no use, and Iza let it out.
Instantly, Tears streamed from Iza's eyes, and pained cries erupted from her mouth. Iza's face turned red as she struggled to control her breathing, and the sobs spilled from her throat. Hysterical crying filled the air as Iza screamed and cried, every emotion she'd experienced or bottled up since they got to parts and service spilled out.
Iza pulled her legs to her chest and continued for a while until, finally, exhaustion overtook Iza. Her eyes grew heavy, and she eventually cried herself to sleep.
