Tigger warning: language

Everything had happened in a flash. Quick but uneven footsteps sprinted across the room as greasy hair stuck to sweaty skin. Iza's heart raced; she ran the twenty steps toward the desk where Music Man watched in bafflement as the injured human skidded to a stop on the debris-covered floor.

As she came to a halt, concrete dust covered her ripped leggings and scratched her exposed skin. Despite the stinging feeling, Iza ignored them and looked over the damaged body of Inox.

Starting from his legs, Iza could tell he was in bad shape. His body was half-covered in scrap and dust, with his limbs slightly sprawled amongst the rubble. Shallow dents littered his body while the neon green lines snaking across his frame were either flickering or already snuffed out. The golden eyes that once shined bright were now dim and unfocused as pieces of silver casing surrounded his body.

"No. No. No," Iza repeated, gently grabbing his shoulders. "Inox? Inox, wake up." She pulled him from the rubble and caused more rocks to fall from his casing.

Water began to brim her eyes when a glitchy-sounding cough suddenly erupted from the android. Iza looked up in shock. Inox's gold eyes started to flicker as they looked toward her unsteadily. "I-zzz-aa." His voice lagged and glitched.

"Inox!" she cried; she pulled him from the rubble and gave a teary smile. "You're alright!"

The silver bot glitched in her arms. "Three-zzz-zero-niiine-ee-tw-wenty-f-f-f-ifty-f-o-o-o-ur."

Iza's brow furrowed as she stared at Inox in confusion. "W-what?" she choked, tears running down her face. "What did you say?"

Inox's hand curled around her left wrist. "I-zzaaaa," he started. "L-Lo-Look up-p three-zero-nine-twenty-f-fffifty-fo-fo-four." The flickering in his eyes and green lights grew worse.

"Inox? Inox, what are you saying?" Her wrist began to hurt as Inox's grip grew tighter.

The pitches in his voice grew in volume. "Three-zero-nine-twenty-fifty-four!" he yelled, the volume hurting Iza's ears. "Find the lo—"

Suddenly Iza screamed as Inox's body lurched forward and slammed into her wrist. Both the fazwatch and his lights burst, flashing the room in white light. A loud pop sounded out before everything went silent.

Blinded by the light, Iza groaned in pain but then smelled smoke. Her eyes shot open and snapped toward Inox. Trails of smoke rose behind his neck and filled the room with a disgusting charred stench. "I-Inox?"

She quickly leaned him forward, and Iza's heart stopped.

The nape of Inox's neck was blown out entirely, and black soot stained his silver casing where the once discolored panel had exploded. She looked behind her and saw the silver panel, its back covered in soot, lying several feet away on the floor.

Iza's panic began to rise. She looked back toward his neck. "INOX!" Her voice released a primal scream as she began wailing uncontrollably.

Quick and heavy footsteps approached from behind while a light further illuminated the damaged area, only causing Iza to cry harder. "No! No! I just got him back!"

"Iza?!" Freddy set the flashlight down and got to her side. "Iza, what's wrong?!"

With hot tears streaking down her cheeks, Iza turned to Freddy and wordlessly held up the blackened and scorched remains of Inox's customization chip.

Freddy's eyes bulged. He looked back at Iza, who had snot and tears spilling off her face and onto the floor. She spoke. "He can't be gone. He can't be," she whispered while hugging Inox tighter. "The chip is just a little dirty, right?" She looked to Freddy for an answer. "He can be fixed, right?!"

Freddy's ears dropped, and he laid a clawed hand on her shoulder. "Iza—"

"No!" she shrieked, shaking off his grip and hugging the body tighter. "Tell me he's going to be alright. Tell me he's just deactivated and in need of repair!"

Freddy's voice box cracked. "Iza…I'm sorry." His voice box strained.

Iza stared at him with a frantic look in her eye. "This can't be real. I can't have just lost Inox. It's just a bad dream." A hysteric smile crossed her lips. "Yeah, just a bad nightmare, one I can wake up from." Iza set Inox and his chip gently aside before she slapped her hand hard across her face, scaring Freddy.

"Iza!"

"Wake up!" she shouted to herself, slapping her left cheek. "I said wake up!"

"Iza! Stop!" Freddy grabbed her left hand and halted her movement. "What are you doing?!"

Iza ignored him and slapped her right side. "I need to wake up! Please let me wake up from this terror!"

Freddy caught the right hand and held it gently. "Iza, look at me. Please stop!"

"Let me go!" Iza screamed, more tears running down her face. "I need to know this is a bad dream!" She began struggling against Freddy's iron grip, grunting when more pain spread through her body.

"Iza! Calm down, please!"

Her struggles continued and got worse.

Realizing she wouldn't stop, Freddy quickly grabbed Iza by the waist and spun her around, sitting her in his lap. He pressed her back against his chest and enveloped her in a tight hug, restraining her movements apart from her right arm.

Iza began to shriek. "Why can't I wake up! I felt pain in the dream; you can't be hurt in a dream!" Her voice cracked with desperate bawls as Iza began hitting Freddy's casing. "Let me go! Let me see Inox again!"

"Iza, please," Freddy said, his voice on the verge of crying itself. "Calm down."

"I can't-I can't have lost him too!" Iza begged, and she fruitlessly hit his arm. "I just lost my dad, I can't-he can't—" Her breath began to shake.

Freddy's ears fell. "Iza—"

"I CAN'T LOSE MY BROTHER TOO!" Suddenly a new stream of water rushed from Iza's eyes as her voice strained under pressure.

Freddy fought back some emotion and hugged Iza tighter. She pounded against his casing for a while, wet from the tears and pleading for him to let her go. He didn't, and eventually, the hits became weaker and weaker until they finally stopped.

Some time passed, and Freddy wasn't sure how long, but he didn't care. Everything was calm, despite the horrific event.

As Iza sat in his lap, Freddy let his mind wander. He raised his gaze and noticed the light. A thought entered his mind, wondering about how the flashlight's rays kept away the darkness. It seemed to act as a border between them and it.

Freddy wondered, were there things in the shadows? He remembered when Gregory was a child, he would spend the night, and occasionally he would have nightmares about that ill-fated six hours. Freddy wondered, what would life be like if he had never met Gregory? What would have happened if Glitchtrap had never existed? Would he be around, would Gregory? Would Iza? Many questions rattled through his head when something quiet reached his ears.

Startled from his thoughts, Freddy heard a quiet sob coming down below. He looked down and spied Iza's black hair. His expression grew worried. "Iza?" he asked, arms still around her. "Are you alright?"

Her head slightly raised, and she spoke in a quaky voice. "I want to go home," she whispered, arm resting over Freddy's. "I want to see my dad, my nana, and I want to see Inox." Bloodshot eyes stared into the distance. "I want to go home where I can see everyone, where we could have a party or watch a movie together, but now…" Her voice trailed off. "…that'll never happen again."

Freddy sat in silence as he looked at her head; although he could not see her face, he could hear the broken tone in Iza's voice. "I'm sorry," he said, hugging Iza protectively. "It never should have happened."

More silence followed. "Freddy?"

"Yeah?"

"When the time comes, will you and the others come with me?"

Freddy's eyes opened. "What?" he asked, readjusting himself and seeing Iza's face slightly better.

She repeated her question. "When the time comes, can we all go home?"

"Iza, I—"

"Please," she squeaked, voice finally starting to go.

Freddy's eyes dropped. "Of course."

Iza sniffed and raised her free hand to rest on Freddy's arm. A peaceful silence fell over them; they sat like that when suddenly: "It's the sweet, sweet sound. Together."

Both human and animatronic jumped as the loud, staticky voice pulled them from their stupor; Freddy looked around. He saw no one before the voice came again. "Down. Here. Would ya?"

Recognizing the voice, Freddy's gaze slowly trailed down until he saw the familiar sight of Music Man. "DJ?" Freddy asked, blinking in confusion. Iza looked over and then away.

"Ya," he responded, the broken-up prerecorded voice playing out through his speaker.

"Why are you talking like that?"

His white pupils grew smaller. "I. Requested. Music. Here." He pointed at his wrist. "My. Music. Now. Eternal silence."

"Request music?" Freddy repeated. "Are you talking about the fazwatch?"

Music Man nodded vigorously.

"Why didn't you get our attention?"

Music Man stopped and gave him a blank look. "You hear? I. Making music. For a long, long time. Your eternal silence."

"Couldn't get my attention?"

Better believe it, Fazbear!

Freddy jumped again as Music Man's comm sounded in his head. "Geez, you are loud," Freddy said, removing one hand while keeping the other around Iza and rubbing his ear.

I Wouldn't have to be if you weren't so lost in your own world.

"Alright, point taken," Freddy grumbled. "What's up?"

Sun and Monty.

Iza stared at Inox's body when she heard Freddy begin to speak. She looked at the two from the corner of her eye and furrowed her brow. "What are you guys doing?" she asked, glasses crooked on her face.

Freddy perked up and looked down. He met Iza's tired eyes and saw how bloodshot they had become. He sighed. "Talking with Music Man, he says there's something wrong with the fazwatch."

Iza raised a brow but shifted her left arm. "Can you?"

"Oh, yeah, sorry." Freddy moved his hand, and Iza pulled hers free. She stared at the fazwatch, tapping the screen, but nothing happened. Finally, she tilted her head in confusion. "What?" Iza said softly before tapping several more times. "Why isn't?"

"What's wrong?" Freddy asked.

Iza huffed, annoyed. "Fazwatch's dead." Iza dropped her hand. "Must've drained when Inox—" She clamped her jaw shut. More tears brimmed Iza's eyes as she turned away, a hand cupped over her mouth.

Freddy's face dropped, and he slightly squeezed her again. "Guess we'll need to charge it," he sighed. "I think Gregory might've had a charger in his office." He turned to Iza. "I know you probably want to be alone right now, but do you want me to take you to the office?"

At first, Iza didn't answer; her mind felt blank, but her voice breathed out a single word. "Sure."

Freddy nodded and undid his arm. Iza stood up and kept her face to the ground, avoiding the dreadful sight. Freddy turned to Music Man as his arm rested on Iza's shoulders. "I'll be right back."

Music Man gave a thumbs up and watched as Freddy and Iza walked toward the office. He heard the door close behind them, leaving him alone in parts and service.

Now alone, Music Man looked around; he spied his friends still lying on the ground and felt a sigh go through his speaker. Better late than never. He thought to himself as he slowly walked toward Sun.

Twenty minutes later, Music Man heard the door open. He looked up to see Freddy with a disheveled expression on his face.

The orange Glamrock was quiet, his hand resting on the knob with ears drooped and eyes closed, listening to the silence; a sigh passed his mouth.

You doing okay?

Freddy perked up; he looked over the railing and spotted Music Man resting on the ground. His white eyes trained on him. "We both know I'd be lying if I said yes," Freddy frowned, walking down the catwalk and carefully avoiding fallen debris.

Music Man looked back toward Gregory's office. How is she?

Freddy's voice box shuddered in response as he made his way over to Sun and bent down. A blue claw tapped his neck before a whirring sound came out. A small panel popped open, and Freddy's face dropped. "Uh, DJ, you didn't happen to—"

Grab their chips? Freddy nodded and looked over to see Music Man hold two silver chips, one with a green stripe and another with a yellow and blue line. Snagged Monty's too, I didn't want them reactivating in this state.

Freddy huffed. "Glad there's at least one bad thing we can prevent tonight." He stood and stared at the ceiling, rubbing his neck in discomfort.

So what's the plan?

Freddy's hand dropped. "What?"

What are we doing next? What happened was a tragedy, but we must plan our next step carefully. Something clearly happened to them, and Roxy and Chica are still missing. If Moon was on the loose, then I fear the worst for them.

Freddy rubbed his eyes. "Unfortunately, I have to agree," Freddy grumbled. "We must focus on finding the girls and getting Iza out of here."

Then we should start by fixing those two. Music Man hummed. We'll figure it out from there.

"Problem with that plan. We have no more parts for Monty."

What?

Freddy scratched his head. "We used the last of his reserve parts when Iza fixed him yesterday. So there are no more endoskeleton pieces left for us to use."

Then we need to find some more.

"Only place I can think of is in that little storage place down the hall, but only a human can fit, and I'm certainly not letting Iza in there again.

Music Man snorted. That's how I met her.

Freddy rolled his eyes.

What are we going to do then?

"Think of something else." Freddy walked over to Monty, trying his best to keep his eyes off Inox; he examined his friend. "We won't really have to worry about his casing but judging from his injuries, he's going to need two replacement legs, arms, and a left optic."

And Sun?

"He's fine," Freddy grunted as he lifted Monty and comedically carried him to the repair machine. He laid him down on the table and continued talking. "Apart from some dents in his back and arms, I think he'll be good, if not unsteady for a little while."

Music Man looked at Freddy in shock, his body sitting outside the door. How do you know all that?

Freddy leaned his hands against the table. "Gregory taught me when he used to repair us, he would explain everything. Was a lot nicer than the old mechanics who would order us to sit in silence while they worked."

Impressive.

Freddy shook his head. "Would be more impressive if I could devise a plan to help Monty."

Music Man went silent, then backed up, looking right. What about the endos?

"What about them?"

Would they work? They are literal endoskeletons.

"Only if you could get your hands…on…one…" Freddy's voice trailed off. His head shot up, and he looked behind him at Music Man. Then, he exited the room and looked to where Music Man pointed.

He had to squint; just past the edge of the light, Freddy could see a glint reflecting off the mounds of endos piled in the hall. His spirit rose. "DJ, you're a genius!"

Say it more often, and I'll believe it.

Freddy chuckled and went to grab the light. "I'll be right back. Sit tight."

Suddenly Music Man's smile dropped. Freddy, wait!

He turned around. "What's wrong?"

We can't use the endos; Monty might gain the virus back.

"I know," Freddy said, sighing heavily. "But it's this, or Monty doesn't have a body. Besides, I know Gregory installed an updated antivirus inside you all a while ago. So there should be a reduced risk for reinfection."

Do you have it?

Freddy looked at the hall. "Wouldn't be here right now if I did."

There was no more conversation as Freddy continued forward and walked into the hall. Music Man got comfortable and could hear metal clanking around as the light danced aimlessly around the wall; he closed his eyes and allowed his processors to rest.

Around ten minutes later, Music Man opened his eyes to the sound of metal scraping against the ground. He looked over and saw Freddy returning while dragging a large endoskeleton behind him; a few sparks flew as the metal skidded on some concrete.

He waited until Freddy set down the light. Found one you liked?

"Was one of the only ones that weren't damaged in their attempt to bash down the door." He laid the endo gently on the ground and dusted off his hands. "Those crashes we heard were no joke. Some of those endos are just busted from the impact. This one was more toward the back."

Music Man walked up behind up. And that's why we are still active while this thing is dead on the floor. He paused. What now?

"Now, I dismantle the parts we need and hope for the best." Freddy's face grew grim. "I really wish I hadn't said that about my best friend."

First off, ouch. Secondly, don't we need Iza to fix Monty?

Freddy nodded. "We do, but I'm going to leave her be until we can get everything situated. You can rest too if you want."

Music Man nodded and reclosed his eyes.

And so it went. Freddy carefully took apart the endo before placing them into the machine and securing Monty onto the table. After replacing his chip, he placed Sun against the wall and kept the light firmly on him. Before retrieving Iza, Freddy carefully put Inox out of view as she emerged and began matching the colors of the machine, slowly fixing Monty piece by piece.

A half-hour passed as Iza finally hit the last color, and the repair process finished. However, Iza didn't stick around long as she quickly grabbed Inox's burnt chip and retreated into her father's study. After she left, Freddy returned Monty's chip to its port and sat back, waiting for his friend to reactivate.

Freddy was relaxed in low power mode when he suddenly heard a disgruntled yell. He and Music Man opened their eyes as more kid-friendly cursing echoed inside the tube.

The two perked, they quickly ran across the room, and Freddy held up Music Man as they looked through the unlit glass, just in time to see Monty attempt to stand. But, unfortunately, his legs were unsteady as he pushed himself off the table, wobbling crazily. "What in the world?" he grumbled.

"Monty?"

The gator glanced up; he saw the glass door open and reveal Freddy and Music Man, who was now on the ground. Without the glass, Freddy could clearly see Monty's face. While most of his casing and hair were gone or damaged, his optic was replaced, and his wires repaired with his endoskeleton looked new.

A red eye stared at him. "Freddy?" he asked, voice slightly gruff. "What's going—?"

A smile crossed Freddy's face as he rushed forward and wrapped the gator in a hug. "It's good to see you, Monty."

The smaller animatronic was flustered and in shock as the larger Glamrock embraced him. "Freddy, let go!" Monty grumbled, pushing against him. "What's going on?"

Releasing his friend, Freddy let out a happy laugh, the first one in a while. "I'm sorry, Monty. I'm just glad you're alright!"

Monty tilted his head. "Alright? What are you—what happened to my body?!" Monty's head shot up, and he rushed forward, nearly falling over when he put weight on his leg. He tripped and would've hit the floor if not for Freddy catching his arm.

"Easy."

Monty got a quick glimpse of his reflection in the glass as he was pulled up. "What happened?" he deadpanned, turning to Freddy.

Freddy hoisted him up and helped Monty back to the table. "You don't remember?" he questioned, helping Monty sit.

Monty shook his head. "Last thing I can recall is…" His eyes widened. "Inox!" Monty yelled and looked around. "Where is he? Is Inox okay?!"

Freddy froze, then averted his gaze, fists balled. "I'm sorry, Monty," Freddy said quietly. "Moon crushed his neck, and then his ejection port exploded." He hesitated. "...Inox's chip was fried."

Red eyes scanned him. "You're lying."

Freddy said nothing.

"Tell me you're lying."

"I'm sorry."

Monty growled and grabbed Freddy's left arm. "Look me in the eyes, Fazbear, and tell me you're lying!" Monty pushed himself up. "He was in my arms; I was responsible for protecting him. He couldn't—"

Monty suddenly fell, and Freddy caught him. "Careful."

"Don't you careful me," Monty snarled, hitting his hand away. "Someone else died, Freddy! How are you so calm about this?!"

"You think I want to be?!"

Monty went silent.

Freddy's mouth opened. "I'm sorry," he said, looking away. "It's been a long night."

Monty looked down with a sullen face. "No, it's my fault. I shouldn't have yelled. Can you tell me what happened and why I look like this?"

Freddy side-eyed him but stayed angled away. "Moon somehow got out and chased you down here. You were protecting Inox, but Moon damaged you and managed to free your grip. You already know the rest."

Monty looked to the side. "Does Iza know?"

Freddy gestured with his head. "She's in the office."

"Gonna have to thank her for repairing me again." Monty gripped one wrist and moved the other. "Where did you get the spare parts? I thought we used them all last time?"

Freddy suddenly got a sheepish look on his face. Monty's tail, which was somehow still attached to his body, swished side-to-side. "Freddy? Where'd the parts come from?"

A clawed hand rubbed nervously on Freddy's neck as he pointed out the door. Confused, Monty followed his finger. He looked out the door to see a dismantled endoskeleton with both hands, arms, and a single optic removed.

Monty went silent, his tail moving faster. He turned to Freddy. "Do you mean to tell me that I now have endo parts on my body?" He looked toward the glass and suddenly realized one of his optics was now white. "Was there really nothing else?" Monty complained.

Be grateful we didn't leave your green butt to rust in the hallway; it was the best we could do.

Monty jumped when he heard the voice in his head. He spun around and noticed the tiny spider. "DJ?" he questioned, confused. "Why are you—"

An annoyed sound left his voice box. Fazwatch is broken, and I ain't using this rickety old thing! He slapped his chest. Also, change the attitude. We've all had enough negativity tonight.

Freddy rubbed his eyes. "You can say that again." Then he looked out the window and saw Sun still inactive. "Monty, can you tell us what happened?"

He shook his head. "All I remember is a lot of yelling, and the next thing I know, I'm running with Inox in my arms, and Moon is chasing us."

Freddy frowned. "Guess you sustained some damage during your fight." He looked at Sun again. "We'll have to wait if we want some answers." Then Freddy clapped his hands. "In the meantime, we should help you get used to your new leg."

"Good idea."

"Man, this feels weird," Monty said as he walked across the floor.

Freddy nodded as he leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "Getting a new limb, it's like an extension rather than a replacement. Takes a while to get used to."

"You can say that again." Monty took another step before steading himself with his arms. "I wonder if this is how human babies feel when learning to walk?"

Freddy shrugged.

Hey, guys?

The others heard Music Man's voice and turned to see him at the door. "What's up, DJ?"

He's up.

Freddy grew surprised and looked at Monty. They shared a stare before exiting the room and looking right. Sitting where he was left was Sun, holding the flashlight while shining it brightly in his eyes; his arms shook.

"Sun?"

White eyes looked up to see the glowing blue, red and white, and beady white eyes staring back. "Mr. Fazbear!" Sun yelled, jumping to his feet with the flashlight still in hand. "I saw everything, is everyone okay?!"

Freddy said nothing as he walked up to Sun. "Mr. Fazbear? Where are Monty and Inox? Are they okay? Is Iza? Where are—"

He was cut off as large hands pulled him into a hug. The panic slightly died down. "Mr. Fazbear?"

The hug deepened. "I'm glad you're alright, Sun."

Sun was shocked as he reeled from the embrace. Then he gave into the hug. "I'm sorry," he cried. "They turned out the lights, he ordered Moon to chase Monty and Inox, I—"

"Sun, it's okay," Freddy whispered, hugging him protectively. Then he pulled back. "Monty's alright. He's right here."

Sun pulled back and looked past Freddy to see Monty come into view. He spied the many injuries. "Mr. Gator…" Sun said, walking forward and putting his hand out. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean, I couldn't—"

"Ahh, quit your whining, Sunny boy!" Monty laughed. "No hard feelings on my end! Freddy?"

"Nope."

"DJ?"

All good here.

Sun perked. "Wait, is he?"

For the third time, the fazwatch is broken.

Sun hummed and turned back to Monty. "Are you sure you're not mad?"

"Not even in the slightest; I used to get into worse fights with Bonnie over this."

You two were nuts.

Monty frowned. "Yeah, well, he wasn't all that bad. Great teacher, I miss him."

"We all do," Freddy said, walking forward and resting his hand on Sun and Monty's shoulder. "But we need to focus. Sun, do you remember what happened?"

A blank expression spread across his face as he nodded. "Too clearly."

"Do you know where Roxy and Chica are?"

"He has them."

Everyone froze.

Sun continued. "After the room collapsed, we all wound up around the third highest maintenance floor. We wandered around for a while before we were ambushed."

Freddy's eyes widened. "Ambushed?"

Sun nodded. "Hordes of STAFF bots and Freddy endos surrounded us. One had violet eyes."

The air tensed.

Then what?

"It lunged for Inox." Sun went quiet. "Roxy and Chica used themselves as shields but were no match for the endos. They were hauled off," he choked and struggled to continue. "Monty, Inox, and I started to run, but the STAFF bots started to destroy the overhead lights. Moon activated, and the rest led us here."

"All that happened in nine hours?"

Sun shook his head. "We only activated after six hours, wandered around for one, then got bombarded about fifteen minutes before coming to parts and service."

Freddy rested a hand on Sun's shoulder. "I'm so sorry."

Sun fell to the ground. "I saw everything; I know Moon, and I can see each other's actions, but what happened now took it to another level." He leaned against the wall. "I'm so sorry; I saw what happened to you, Monty, Iza, and…Inox."

The room went quiet, and Sun sat back against the desk. "He's gone, isn't he?"

The others looked at each other. "How did you know?" Monty asked.

"I saw when Moon hurt him. He struck the one place that could permanently kill him."

"I'm sorry," Freddy said, crouching down. "None of it was your fault."

"I know, but I still can't help but blame myself."

Freddy sighed and gave another hug. "I know exactly how you feel."

After a moment, Freddy let go. "Do you know where Roxy and Chica might be?"

Sun pulled his arms back and rested them on his knees. "I know exactly where they are."

Surprised, Music Man spoke. Where?

Sun slowly raised his head and looked each person in the eye. "Down below."

The atmosphere became thick. "You don't mean?"

Sun nodded. "The old pizzeria."

Sun scratched his head and continued. "When I wasn't in control, I could hear Moon's thoughts; he was speaking to me."

"What did he say?"

"He said we had two hours to get down there from the time I activated to meet him down there with Iza. He wants to trade Roxy and Chica for Iza and the fazwatch."

Everyone's eyes bulged. "Well, we already know that's not happening," Monty said, breaking the silence. "Besides, it's obviously a trap."

"Of course it's a trap," a voice called out before a door slammed behind them.

Everyone looked back; they could hear light footsteps trekking down the walkway before finally coming into view, revealing Iza. "But I'm done running."

Freddy's back straightened. As he scanned Iza over, he saw the pure angry bloodshot eyes and tear-stained face hidden behind crooked glasses, and although greasy, her hair was pulled back into a new bun. Fresh bandages covered her arms, legs, and face with the fazwatch now glowing with a cord plugged into its side. The wire extended down into the Monty-themed duffle bag slung over her left shoulder. It was fuller than Freddy remembered, but he forgot about it when he saw the three-foot-long crowbar in Iza's hand.

He blinked in surprise. "Iza?"

She faced him. "Mind telling me what that's for?"

Iza raised her brow, then raised her left arm. "Oh, this?" She held it with both hands.

Freddy nodded. "Yeah, that. Why do you have a crowbar?"

"It's for Glitchtrap."

"Why?"

"Because when I see him. I'm going to kill that fucking robot."
