Good day everyone, it has been a while.

Last chapter update was in August, this chapter will be updated in January.

Anniversary update of this fic.

Hard to believe we're already four years in. How fast time went.

Don't forget that you can find me back on AO3. The site hasn't been out of issues yet.

We're going to take a weird route on this fic. I'm not the one who has decided to take this course on it That is all on the requester, Valon13 or as he's called on this site, SetsunaRay. Because of this, you can all leave your reviews to him.

I'm going to do something that I have never done before on my fics. I'm not sure if I am going to reply to the reviews as I know how this might turn out.

Not that I am that worried about the reviews.

Despite having over 290 followers and favorites, I get an average of four reviews per chapter as only a few find this worth their time to review. But that is for you, Valon. I warned you about the route we were going.

You wanted me to make this stew, I will make you eat it.

Now for the guest reviews.

Guest on the 31st of August, 2022. I'm impressed you kept in mind what was going on with the other guys in this fic. I do wonder if you're someone who I met on some other sites. They're indeed psycho's but I wouldn't hold your breath for the future.

I have seen the ones below on the 4th of December, 2022. They came along with Powerwolf in Antwerp. Damn good show.

Fall on your knees today
And pray the world will mend it's ways
Get to your feet again
Refugees from the heartbreak and the pain

Openings song: Dragon Force. Through the fire and the flames.

0:00 – 0:18

The opening begins with the first image featuring Minato surrounded by his Sekirei, such as Musubi, Kusano, Matsu, Tsukiumi, Kazehana, and Kagari. Next, Minato, Musubi, and Tsukiumi are shown on the blue background, Kagari and Kazehana are shown on the pink background, Matsu and Kusano are shown on the yellow background, and Uzume and Chiho on the cyan background.

0:18 – 0:27

(Then, the title scene displays the name of the fic is shown. Brave New World)

0:27 – 0:38

In the next scene, Minato and his Sekirei harem run towards the edge of Shinto Teito during the sunrise. Minato's four first Sekireis happily express themselves as if they're jumping for joy, Kazehana drinking her sake. At the same time, Kagari is cool with Minato with them, and Uzume entertains Chiho with her outfit.

On a cold winter morning
In the time before the light

In the next scene, Yukari and Shiina spend time in the cafe together.

In flames of Death's eternal reign
We ride towards the fight

Then, when Seo begins to flirt with another woman, Hikari gives him shocking treatment while Hibiki standby by.

When the darkness has fallen down
And the times are tough, alright

Next, Ichika Orimura is shown walking with his backpack in the rain.

The sound of evil laughter falls
Around the world tonight

After that, Ichika reflects on how Chifuyu and his IS girls mistreated him, especially Houki.

Fighting hard, fighting on for the steel
Through the wastelands evermore

However, unlike the two previous versions, the third version has both Chifuyu and Houki revealed.

The scattered souls will feel the hell
Bodies wasted on the shores

Couldn't bear it any longer, he begins to run and trip.

On the blackest plains in Hell's domain
We watch them as they go

Down into the deep sadness, with one tear from his eye, Minato arrives with the umbrella and gives him a hand.

Through the fire and pain and once again we know

So now we fly ever free
We're free before the thunderstorm

In the third version, Minato and Musubi battle Natsuo and Karasuba. Although Karasuba had the edge, Musubi got the upper hand and possibly defeated Karasuba.

On towards the wilderness
Our quest carries on

Then Ichika is chased by his pursuers and runs into Minato and his Sekirei harem, who are willing to protect Ichika.

Far beyond the sundown
Far beyond the moonlight
Deep inside our hearts and all our souls

The pursuers who chase Ichika turn out to be none other than his older sister, Chifuyu, and his IS harem, then appear, wanting to capture Ichika. They plan to make Ichika come back to the IS Academy by force. However, in the third version, every member of Ichika's IS harem is revealed, including Tatenashi, Kanzashi, Chifuyu, and Airis, who are also shown.

So far away, we wait for the day
For the lives all so wasted and gone

As we can see, Ichika's evolution has changed from a little kid to middle school age, then his current age.

We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days
Through the fire and the flames we carry on

Rapid events happen during this section.

After that, some of the helicopters, like the MBI helicopters, fly to the event scene. And Takehito, along with Uzume and Chiho, see Miya in her No.00 outfit flying suddenly towards Chifuyu in her Kurazakura IS, and then battles her head to head at the speed of light and when those two collide and explode. Finally, the song ends with the main characters in four-colored hexagon backgrounds (dark blue for Minato, Musubi, and Tsukiumi; pink for Kagari, Matsu, and Kazehana; yellow for Kusano and Matsu; and cyan for Uzume and Chiho). And that's it for the third one.

Minato knew this could go wrong, but he wouldn't let the Sekirei under his care be hurt. Chifuyu had given him until the end of the week to get Ichika waiting. Otherwise, his Sekirei would be in for a horrible time.

Unfortunately, for the first Brunhilde, Minato had enough friends to call in. Favors that he had amassed during the Sekirei Plan when that was still a thing.

Many of his friends that he could call in.

Sanada Nishi was all too eager to give Minato a helping hand. However, three of his Sekirei couldn't wait for a good scrap.

But the six weren't the only ones Minato had gathered at his house. Ichika had also been called in.

As usual, the male pilot felt horrible for putting his best friend on the spot, but Minato assured him that he could make things right by protecting his Flock.

It had taken some hefty dealing from the Asama couple, but Seo also sent Hikari and Hibiki in for this match. Due to them being up against machines, the Northern Ashikabi realized they would be a huge help.

Even the pilots, with one Sekirei, had been called in. Shigi Haruka was reluctant to lend Kuno in a fight but found that he did owe it to Minato. Due to her ability, she wasn't a front-line fighter. Instead, she would be in a support class.

The same couldn't be said for Shiina. Yukari was beyond pissed at how horrible Houki had turned out to be. So there wasn't even a question if she would help.

Oosumi had also thrown in his lot with Kaho. She wouldn't let anything happen to her rival. So the Sekirei was more than glad to help out.

While Jin was reluctant to have Yashima fight, the hammer Sekirei had begged her Ashikabi to be in the fight.

Minato had helped her during her previous Ashikabi, and while it was before she met Jin, the blue-collared worker understood the reasons for honor.

He did make it clear to Minato, in no uncertain terms, that if anything were to happen to his girl, there would be hell to pay.

Now, the only thing had to do was wait until Chifuyu showed up with the Infinite Stratos girls. But he didn't want his Sekirei fighting, so they weren't allowed outside. So Minato just stood at the gate.

He was waiting for his fighters to show up. It was still early, but he didn't want to miss any chances that things would go wrong.

Minato knew this fight would be the end of this conflict. It would only be waiting until they figured out what they could do.

One big surprise showed when he found that Ichika didn't come alone to his house. Instead, Miya was carrying her sword on her back.

"Hello, Ichika. Good day, Miya. What are you doing here?"

The young man couldn't believe that his former landlady had joined this fight.

"Young Ichika told me what was going on. It's a long story, Minato. But I think that it's better that I save it for later."

Unsheathing her katana, Miya looked more than ready for the fight.

"It's time that I end this long score."

Scene skip. Days before.

Chifuyu had allowed her psychos, no, her students, to go out in the city. So, still wearing their dark clothes, they went around in Shinto Teito.

The teacher left one thing open: they couldn't visit Minato or the Inn where Ichika resided. However, she gave Minato her word and wouldn't want them to go after the Ashikabi.

Plus, she just knew that Miya would murder her pupils. And she couldn't afford that to happen.

At least, not until they had saved Ichika from Minato.

Chifuyu mused the bottle that she had been drinking out of. When did all go so wrong for her?

Scene skip

There was no reason for the girls to hang out with each other, but because this city was unfamiliar, they stuck together in a group. Plus, it was better to be miserable in a group than alone.

Misery loved company, after all.

The girls didn't have a destination, so they just walked through Shinto Teito while their minds wandered.

Due to their unfamiliarity, they ended up in a lonely place in the city.

Homeless on the street, trash everywhere, and the stank rose.

The girls were to turn about before a smelly, drunk, and dirty man bumped into Houki.

The guy landed on his ass while cradling his bottle.

"Watch out, you fucking cunt. I almost broke this one." Houki felt a tick growing on her face as she readied a fist.

"What did you call me?"

The guy blinked as he looked at the guy. His green hoodie had cuts in them, and none of the girls wanted to snow where those stains on his trouser came from.

"Oh, you're not Yashima. Sorry, miss. I thought you were that whore."

Houki's eyes twitched even more when she looked at the guy. This man couldn't attract a lady, let alone a woman.

"Oh, what makes you think that?"

"She was one of those. You know." The man stumbled over his words.

"Sekirei." That did get the interest of the girls.

"Sekirei? You have one of those bitches?" Rin wondered how a creep like him would ever attract a Sekirei.

"Yeah. Had. Fucking cunt. Did everything right by her." The guy stumbled backward and crawled into an alleyway where a sleeping bag and some clothes were organized.

"She was fucking weak, got defeated, and then came back. Left me here, all alone. And what does she do?"

The girls weren't sure if pity was an emotion they felt as the guy just drank from the bottle.

Cheap stuff with tears wasn't a great combination, but it did the trick.

"Gets winged to some asshole. Fucking idiot doesn't even have anything. No fame, no glory, nothing. Yet, she gets to him."

The Infinite Stratos girls weren't sure what they were hearing.

"Sure, I was rough with her. But couldn't she see? She needed to understand."

He burped, and the girls were disgusted by his crude behavior.

"She needed a good guy who taught her well. Instead of some idiot. Ran right to him."

Tanigawa Junichi downed the bottle while the girls were leaving the scene.

"What an idiot," Houki commented.

"No girl deserves that." Tatenashi immediately added.

"Every girl deserves better than that." Charlotte put her five cents on that.

"And did you hear? He confessed he put his hands on her." But, of course, Cecilia had a hard time believing that truth.

"Only the worst kind of men raise their hands against a woman." Rin was fuming when she heard that.

Seemingly blind to the sheer hypocrisy, the girls raved and ranted while they left the guy drowning in his sorrows.

Even when life puts a mirror in front of them, some people refuse to see it. But alas, they left Junichi drowning. It wouldn't be long until they found Ichika and could teach them the right way.

It wouldn't be for long now.

Scene skip

Minato hadn't thought that many people would show up, but with this, he knew that his Sekirei was safe.

Twelve Sekirei, all belonging to different groups, were ready to fight for him.

As Nishi had the second largest group, he spoke for the other Ashikabi.

"We got your message, Sahashi. So what is going on?"

Minato looked them over as he knew this wouldn't be easy.

"As you might remember from last summer, Ichika," the Knight waved at the group, "has returned to this city after he escaped the school. But, of course, nothing could be easy, and the girls who made his school life a living nightmare have now come after the Sekirei."

"And you can't deal with them, Sahashi, because they're pregnant, right?"

Never in his life was he so grateful for the grace and poise of Miya.

"Correct, Miya. I hate to ask this of you, but I will need help to stop them."

The group understood that, and they owed that much to Minato.

"Okay, genius. Do you have any information on how to deal with those girls? Because we'll need more than what you just told us."

Jin was the only one who hadn't fought in the Sekirei Plan, but he had heard enough of it.

"Yes, I hate to be the one who orders you, but I know the Infinite Stratos a bit due to helping Ichika last year. Therefore, I have made some matchups. With you here, Miya, I believe you have your score to settle."

The giggle scared the crap out of every soul in that garden.

"I want to have Chifuyu. Then, you can deal with the rest of it."

"Noted. Hikari, Hibiki. You're a bit more experienced and controlled than some here. Would you be so kind as to dispose of Djbril Emulail and Airis Luxembourg? I don't know much about their units. Matsu is inside, and she has been compiling data on them. Airis is a princess from Luxembourg. Killing her is not an option."

The Thunder Twins reacted like he guessed they would.

It was Hibiki who spoke for them.

"Will do. Let's go, sis."

Minato looked over the group.

"Yashima, I know your skills with the hammer. However, I'd like it if you took care of Laura Bodewig. She uses an AIC, but I don't think she can withstand your power." The hammer Sekirei nodded while Minato kept an eye on Jin. The storehouse worked and wanted to make sure she was okay.

Sanada looked over at Minato, who knew the character of the three stronger ones.

"Yuna, I need you, Chiyo, and Hatae to take care of Cecilia Alcott and Tatenashi Sarashiki. One is using a sniper rifle so getting close is your forte. Sarashiki is next to Chifuyu, the strongest in the group. So you three can go wild."

Minato didn't know how Sanada tamed the three killers, but he could guess how they did it.

"Kuzuri, Kujika, and Shijime, you get one person to fight. Charlotte Dunois. Keep it easy on her, alright?"

The three agreed to that little while cuddling up to their Ashikabi.

"That leaves just Houki and Rin. But, brother, I can take care of either of them." Feeling a hand on her shoulder, Yukari smiled at the pilot.

Old love left a mark on them.

"It's sweet of you, Ichika. But I think that just like Asamas, I need to take care of some business. So I want to put Houki in her place. Or rather, Shiina. Do you mind this fight?"

The Reaper Sekirei shook his head. Then, holding his fist out to Ichika, the pilot bumped it.

"Thanks, you two."

Oosumi decided to give Minato his ideas.

"Listen, Sahashi. I know the whole thing, but as you might be aware, I am now a part of the Discipline Squad. I am not coming here and leaving without a fight. Kaho can take care of the last one."

Minato didn't have much to answer to that. The weapon that she was using was perfect for Rin.

"Very well."

The only ones who weren't fighting were Ichika and Kuno. The song Sekirei was relieved about that; despite his face, Shigi shared that emotion.

"I want you to stay here and help out the others in case this goes south. Then, when they are defeated, Kuno, can you put them to sleep?"

The Sekirei nodded to him while Shigi trusted Minato to have their back.

"Ichika, I know you hate not participating in this battle, but."

"I know, I have to stay here. It's my fault this mess came to your doorstep. And I will be damned if I don't help you to clean it up."

Minato clasped a hand on his shoulder.

"I understand. But if you're not here, there is no way of telling if they would go after my wives. I want them safe. This time, it's your turn."

Ichika understood what those words meant.

"No worries, Minato. I do have a big tab to fill out. And I promise you that I'll repay that debt."

The Ashikabi stood back with the others. They looked at the newest member of their group.

Now, he was a part of them.

Minato looked at the gate.

"Now, the only thing we can do is wait until they show up."

The group spread around the house of Minato. Oosumi and Shigi had an interesting conversation about their job, while Nishi and Seo usually smoked.

The Sekirei looked more than ready for the fight; practicing patience was the only thing they could do.

Some of the Sekirei were to ask how Minato's pregnant wives were doing, while others heard from Ichika how he was adjusting to his life.

When the two were left alone, Minato didn't know how to bring this to the step. They had to win this fight, but the big question was how it would end if they did.

What would go from here?

The biggest issue was those girls. Sending Ichika back to the ISA wasn't a good idea, but having him around would mean constant risk for his Sekirei and his unborn children.

Ichika knew that neither Minato nor himself would forgive him if something happened to them because of him.

The Sekirei had to come first. This is what Takehito meant by making a choice.

What would they do after this? Ichika was slowly building up a life here, away from all of his problems, and yet, they came knocking at his door.

The silence was deafening—the silence before the storm.

Scene skip

"They're here! Who chose their getup?" Yuna shouted from the gate. Ichika and Minato walked up to the entrance. They still kept it closed as they stood before it.

Maybe if things worked out, they could turn this out without becoming a bloodbath.

As usual, Chifuyu was the one who talked.

"I see that you have gotten wise, Sahashi. But, Orimura, there'll be hell to pay when you get back to the ISA."

Before Minato could open his mouth, Ichika spat on the floor before his sister's shoes.

"I'm not going back." And with that, Ichika walked back to the house.

Chifuyu was momentarily blown away by the sheer audacity of Ichika. She had never seen such behavior from him. Was this due to Minato's influence or how far they had pushed him?

"You heard him. Chifuyu, I am going to give you one warning. Take your questions, take your threats and those girls of yours, and leave my home!"

The Brunhilde's eyes narrowed when she heard the sheer disrespect. Not just from this manwhore but also from her brother.

"I think you must have forgotten the threat I left you with at the beginning of this week."

"I haven't forgotten. But I did something you wouldn't have guessed." Throwing the gates open, the Sekirei of his friends came out of them.

Yuna released her wires while Yashima took up the hammer.

Twirling their weapons around, the Ashikabi escorted their fighters to the door. Minato stood back, but when Miya stood behind him, he went out of her way.

"Chifuyu." The Pillar of the Sekirei greeted her former rival.

"What are you doing here?" Miya didn't reply immediately, but she took out her sword. Putting the sheath away, Miya kept her ice-cold look up.

"I am here to finish something I should have closed long ago."

The other Sekirei seized up their opponents. Yuna, Hatae, and Chiyo had a bloodlust that would make most shiver.

"I called in a few of my friends. They were willing to help me out. So we can now see what is stronger. Infinite Stratos or Sekirei."

Minato crossed his arms while the Ashikabi just stood back.

The Sekirei outnumbered the infinite Stratos, and they appeared more than ready.

"Don't let yourself get intimidated. Activate your machines."

"Yes, ma'am!" The chorus of eight girls shouted. They all activated their machines and looked ready to take on this challenge.

The Sekirei didn't need more encouragement. They had gotten plenty of that from their Ashikabi already.

Chifuyu looked over the girls.

"Separate! Don't stay together." Minato was glad that Chifuyu ordered this as it would give them an edge. However, Brunhilde did stay in front of his house while the girls gave them all a light show.

The girls split up but luckily for Yuna, Hatae, and Chiyo, Cecilia was close enough to Tatenashi. So she didn't have to tell the other two her plan for the wire fighter. However, the wires prevented Cecilia from leaving Tatenashi.

"Didn't you hear what Orimura-sensei said? Move!"

"Like I can. You try to avoid those claws."

Hatae couldn't believe how unprofessional and childish those girls were. Was this supposed to be the elite of the elite?

The Sekirei from Hayato was more difficult to deal with. But they just loved this. Less to worry about while their colleagues tore into the French blonde. Even as childish as Shijime usually was, she could hold her own in a fight.

Not that Yuna was worried about the brat. She had the other two to watch over her. So Yuna began tearing into Cecilia while Hatae pulled closer to that blue cat. Nothing more fun than to hunt on those bastards.

As before the house, Chifuyu, a woman regarded by many as the most remarkable example of female superiority, felt a very cold emotion going up her spine as she watched Miya.

The Ashikabi had spread out to stay around their Sekirei in case they needed a boost. Minato was joined, however, by Ichika. The Knight had fetched his sword and had attached it to his back.

He didn't need to say a single word to Minato, who just watched how his little brother was ready to fight.

But Miya wouldn't allow that. In the presence of a God, both humans would bow to her. One would bow down in fear, while the other out of sheer respect.

The Pillar didn't say a single word to Chifuyu, who stood ready with her sword. Instead, Miya flew at her with a ferocity that neither Minato nor Ichika had seen.

What surprised them even more was the ferocity to which Chifuyu replied. Their struggle showed the strength and expertise that both women had.

Chifuyu pushed back to Miya while the Pilar narrowed her eyes. The land was perfect, and it hadn't taken long before their blades met again.

Whoever made Chifuyu's sword they were prepared for everything—even facing a physical god.

Minato and Ichika were awed by the sight of Chifuyu and Miya's sword fight. It was more of a high-speed ballet, with their blades crossing while their fights continued.

If Miya felt just the tiniest bit of generosity, she would be impressed by Chifuyu's skill. Throughout the years, Chifuyu never stopped honing her skills. Miya just wished that a few of her skills went to her brother.

Chifuyu just pushed back against Miya, who wasn't mad at a girl she had seen as a little sister. No, she was just disappointed.

Disappointed that Chifuyu wouldn't see how much she had hurt Ichika. To the point that her only family had run away from her.

And ironically enough, it was she, an orphan, protected Ichika and stood in awe as Miya didn't even try.

Chifuyu used all her strength and skills against Miya, who could counter her easily. However, the Knight knew how good his sister was and what she could do when she went all out.

If he was one to notice, the damage remained to a minimum as dodges seemed something either woman had heard just off in passing. But, most of the time, their sparks made the light in their eyes shine.

At one point, Chifuyu could push Miya back while her face came as close as she could.

"So what is this, huh, Miya? Still jealous of the fact that I had a crush on Takehito-sensei?" Miya knew that Chifuyu was taunting her.

The Brunhilde had to be foolish or afraid to think such a trick would work.

Yet, Chifuyu kept on pressing.

"You know, for all your talk about strength, I am shocked, really shocked, that you would take in a weakling like Ichika."

That struck a nerve with Miya, who swept Chifuyu into the pavement.

The power of that made the earth rumble and the pavement crack.

Unlike what Ichika would have guessed, his sister didn't go down. Instead, she stood ready, proud to get that reaction out of Miya.

"If I were you, I'd keep your thoughts about Ichika to yourself."

Chifuyu's eyes flickered to her brother, who wanted to join Miya in the fight. But he kept at the gate.

"Oh, because you know it's the truth?"

"Young Ichika isn't strong. He was not compared to you. But I doubt he's the reason why he is weak. Maybe, the reason for his lack of progress stands before me. A summer, Chifuyu. That is how long he stayed with me. And the boy grew leaps and bounds. Meanwhile, you had him for over a decade. And it didn't come to mind to train him."

Chifuyu launched herself at Miya, who didn't want to try to get her away.

"I don't want to waste my time. Did you think I'd foresee Ichika becoming an IS pilot?"

The bite in her voice stung, and Miya scoffed at her. Yes, the great Miya Asama scoffed at the words being hurled by Chifuyu.

"That boy is your brother. He is a fighter. And yet, you throw that aside." This time, Miya went to Chifuyu while Minato and Ichika stood, watching the fight.

"Hard to think that Miya could function as a therapist," Ichika commented as he found that if he had to follow in his footsteps, it would be Miya instead of his sister.

"Miya got many qualities. And she made a good point." The words that Minato didn't speak were thought out.

'You really got more in common with Yashima than you had in mind. I do wonder how the rest goes down.'

Scene skip

Despite their best attempts, Cecilia and Tatenashi had been pushed back. But, if they didn't fight Sekirei, they thought they had another Phantom Task agent in front of them.

The shots of Cecilia ran over them, but Yuna had no trouble avoiding those shots while she used her wire. It was fun. She had so much fun. So usually, fighting against opponents, you weren't allowed to kill such a bore.

But this blonde bitch and her companion proved to be the proper distraction that Yuna and her allies hoped.

The Sekirei was a battle maniac at heart and loved to go rough, both her foes and her Ashikabi, in the bedroom, but she had heard the stories of Ichika. Even what Sanada relayed to them was more than what she and the others liked so much of doing.

The shots were too easily avoided while she kept smashing Cecilia into Tatenashi.

"Stand still so I can hit you," Cecilia shouted while Yuna bowed.

"Bravo, blonde cow. You've convinced me! Your skill and expertise at mundane shooting and misleading make me want to throw caution to the wind and be hit by your shots." When she said that, she threw the wires up again and threw Cecilia around.

Nishi recently put them in front of a television to keep them occupied. Humans made such beautiful creations, and the show of three guys with similar names made her long to grow up during such simple times.

The tick Cecilia grew more prominent as she felt the humiliation. It wasn't her decision where they went. Surrounded by buildings, it was easy for her to miss her targets.

"What are you even? Some big-breasted cow? You sure you're not some bitch in heat?"

Cecilia looked over the outfit that Yuna and her compatriots were wearing. But, unfortunately, it didn't leave much for the imagination.

"At least I have womanly features. Compared to you. Are you sure that you're a woman?"

The scoff of Yuna nearly came too quickly.

"Given that Sanada often fucks us, I can say that for sure. Not that you'd get such luck. Bitch."

It was too easy to goad this woman into fighting recklessly.

Yuna looked up to see that Hatae and Chiyo. The scythe fighter kept Tatenashi busy while the blades watched until it was her turn to switch. Both just loved the feeling of this fight.

Minato was a wuss to stress they should give them a sound beating but that none of them should be killed in this fight.

Chiyo found the power of this girl lacking. The trio was getting the second-strongest foe besides Chifuyu. While blood-crazed was one thing, the three fighters were nowhere near suicidal enough to even think of stepping between Miya and her own prey.

Still, seeing how frustrated this girl grew while the Sekirei kept it at bay was fun.

"Do you take this seriously?"

"Cunt. If I did, you'd be on the floor. You can thank our Ashikabi and Sahashi that we keep your ass alive."

Chiyo was almost bored, and while the pilots might be decent in their battle, compared to throughout bred fighters as she and her sisters were, there was no comparison.

Still, the unusual machines proved a unique thrill for a fight, especially after Chiyo figured out how those girls fought.

It was easy to strike back and let Hatae take over the fight, as her blades did wonders on the machine. From what Minato had told them, they worked with shield points. The more you damaged them, the easier they went down.

"Oh, is that manwhore good for something? I have seen your Ashikabi. Trash, dropout, wanna-be tough punk." The taunt about their Ashikabi ticked all three off.

Like before, they shared their thoughts. Again, it was asked to keep them alive and with all limbs intact. But when they heard the insults about their Ashikabi, it made their blood boil.

"Okay, that is it." Chiyo jumped, and with a kick to the face, she dazed Tatenashi. Then, in an incredible feat of skill, she hooked her scythe around the spear of her opponent. Tatenashi didn't have time to lament the loss of her weapon.

"Have it, Hatae." The blades came crashing down while the fits of Hatae joined in as she crushed the nose and gave Tatenashi two fat lips. The Sekirei was livid at how this woman spoke about her Ashikabi.

Nishi had his flaws, but all loved him. That wouldn't change.

"Tatenashi." Cecilia couldn't help her, even if she wanted to. The wires of Yuna were all too easily found around her, and this time, she wouldn't be freed. The Sekirei had closed her rifle down, and she threw herself at the blonde Brit.

"Heard what your friend said about our Ashikabi. Bad idea." Cecilia felt a power in those hands beyond everything she had ever received. The pain settled in her system as she couldn't get away. The Sekirei worked out her plan as she trashed Cecilia.

When the machine closed down, the British Pilot lost consciousness. Looking up, it appeared that her sisters had done the same thing with Sarashiki. Yuna approved of the last vicious punch that Chiyo laid into Tatenashi.

Her wires proved to be excellent rope.

"Do you want to carry those bitches back to Sahashi's mansion?" Chiyo looked up to it.

"Who says we are going to carry them? Drag them would be better." Hatae turned to Yuna, who had already begun to tie them up.

"Fine by me, but I'm going to look for the others. Something tells me we'll need restraints for the others." With that said, she flew off.

Following the sounds of fighting, she went to the closest one nearby.

Scene skip

Yashima had chased Laura further away. During the wait, she had spent her time well during it. She had learned that her opponent had many ways to fight.

What she did have to do was to get close to her. In terms of fighting CQB, she could be at a disadvantage. And Yashima was all there to fight this out as she wanted.

To her immense relief and enjoyment, Jin ran after her. He did keep a good distance to prevent her from hurting her, but he would be there to help her if she needed that.

"Why did you follow me?"

Yashima twirled the hammer around as she eyed the German.

"I was asked to keep you at bay. Therefore, I, Yashima, Sekirei Number 84, will be your opponent." Her eyes flattened as she got undying support from Jin.

She could feel a warmth in her chest. It just proved to her that Jin was her true Ashikabi.

"No matter, foolish girl. I will destroy you." The speed of Yashima had been something she hadn't underestimated. While the Sekirei Plan was over, she thanked Jin for keeping her up to snuff in terms of fighting.

The better her physique was, the better her body would take off having children.

Laura had never faced a warrior that possessed such speed and finesse. But, unfortunately, summoning her guns would be useless against one like Yashima. So she did use her daggers against her.

Yashima was dressed lightly compared to others, but it proved to be to her advantage. The light dress gave her room to move, and the hammer could block them.

When a smash came through again, Laura didn't have time to bring up her dagger. Still, her trump card was not for show.

The AIC would be suitable for stopping attacks.

"Here! How do you think you'd stop that?"

Letting her power flow through her, Yashima could feel her power going through her veins. It caused both her and the hammer to light up.

Laura's confident look fell from her face as she felt that the AIC had pressure from the hammer.

"What is?"

"Gravity hammer!" The shout rang over the court, where they fought while Jin loved the show. Then, wanting a cigarette, he remembered that Yashima had made them throw it out.

So Jin put his hands back and watched how Yashima destroyed the little thing Ichika showed of the German's military might.

But compared to the Sekirei natural power, it didn't work.

For Jin, it was beautiful as Yashima used her power to throw the hammer around and hit Laura.

She was smashed right into the ground. The Sekirei was taking lessons to keep the destruction of property in mind.

The Ashikabi began to go around and get the public out. Some preferred to watch the fight instead of getting crushed.

Laura wasn't done just yet. On the ground, she summoned her guns. Yashima didn't take a risk and began to run away in circles.

Yashima knew damn well it was best to avoid those bullets. However, given that those guns were shooting .80 bullets as a railgun, Jin couldn't believe she would be this unresponsible.

"Oi, you idiot. This isn't an arena. So keep it down a bit." The face showed that he had no idea what to think about it.

But she did follow up on that order. It allowed Yashima to get in closer. However, Laura didn't use her AIC but relied on her reflexes to get out from underneath the hammer.

Laura didn't know how but Yashima managed to smash through her defense. She wasn't going to test out more of this.

Her daggers appeared again, and she threw them at Yashima. The hammer girl could get away from those quickly enough. Despite the big hammer, she could move around just fine.

Jin enjoyed how the silver-haired opponent didn't get one bit closer to his girl. And when Yashima found that she had had enough, she waited until Laura retracted her wires before she got closer again.

The pilot had no chance but to fly up in the air. Usually, an IS pilot would have an advantage there, but in cases like these, it was easy enough to follow for Yashima.

"Oh, not again," Laura whined as she got again smashed into oblivion. Furthermore, the power of Yashima was something that she couldn't deal with.

It wasn't a mistake why she got dealt this foe. Her AIC could put her on equal grounds with Chifuyu, but she found that she had less and less luck in getting Yashima down.

As for the hammer wielder, she was enjoying this fight. She loved the feeling of fighting and helping out her friends.

And with Laura, it was proving too much fun just to let her go. So Yashima just fought while Laura tried to get away.

They had attracted an audience. Some college guys had taken out folding chairs while they cracked open a beer. Other families with young children just hurried along.

Jin didn't doubt the abilities of his girl.

Especially not in how fast she moved and how quickly she got the German down again while her AIC cracked.

More and more pressure was put on her while she felt the power of her love coming through.

During their talks, she realized that Ichika was more substantial than her. She couldn't escape Junichi, but he had to deal with many more. This was just one woman who went after him and hurt him.

And Minato had helped her out big time during her own struggles. So she owed him that much. And if he wanted her to fight Laura, she was more than willing to go that far.

"I will not let you go after him. Gravity Hammer!" The shout echoed over the battlefield, and it hit Laura again. Her Infinite Stratos broke down after her shield hit zero.

That also meant that her light went out. Jin just smiled as he watched how Yashima had triumphed.

Yashima just looked proudly at the result, while Jin wasn't sure what they had to do now.

"Good job. I take you're hungry."

Before the words had left his mouth, the mouth of his Sekirei had herself attached to his. The results around them were what he expected. Some parents blocked the views of their children while others cheered them on.

He didn't mind it as her wings enveloped the two.

When they let go, she blushed, but Jin knew his face was as red as he could get.

"Thank you, Jin." The Ashikabi didn't know what else he had to say. So he looked at Laura.

"Well, we better take her back to Sahashi. I hope he knows what we have to do with them." Yashima understood, and with her strength, she grabbed Laura while Jin walked behind them.

If something happened, he could knock Laura out again. But, he didn't want any threats towards his girl.

Shiina had no real idea what it meant, but for him, he understood that Houki was a dangerous woman.

She had run into a flat, thanks to Shiina's flight. He and his Ashikabi could follow her up there.

Houki was waiting for them.

Putting his Ashikabi down, he went to meet Houki.

And from how Yukari glowered at her, he guessed that his Ashikabi wasn't happy with how she turned out.

But the Reaper Sekirei wasn't going to ask. So the request was reasonable from Minato and Yukari.

Shiina watched his foe. Two swords, but next to Ichika's machine, the most advance IS out now.

It could mean severe damage in the hands of a real IS pilot. But with an inexperienced Houki who wasn't ready to fight, Shiina had a greater chance.

The Sekirei had some decent control over his power since the plan had to play in their favor.

Yukari had told him what she wanted from him.

Take Houki's machine down. I'll take care of her.

The Sekirei knew damn well what Yukari had in mind for her foe, and he wouldn't stand in her way. Not after all he had heard from his Ashikabi and her brother.

"So Houki. Ready to lose?" Yukari was calmer than Shiina would have guessed that she would be. The shrine maiden just looked at her foe and back to the Ashikabi.

"I'm surprised you'd do your brother's dirty work. How low you have fallen, Yukari."

The Ashikabi actually scoffed when she heard that line.

"I do it because I owe him a few favors. Besides, I heard during the summer what you have done to Ichika."

The eyes of Houki switched to Shiina.

"And you are fine with having an Ashikabi who has taken you as a sloppy second?"

The Sekirei shrugged when he heard that comment.

"Yukari has always treated me right. I know she loved Ichika. She loves me now. I don't care about her past."

If she had done it to Ichika, it'd be different, but Yukari never did, so Shiina let it be.

"So you're fine with being a sloppy second?"

"I don't want to hear that coming from you—a woman who can't change for her own heart. Love requires many things. And it's all your fault. Ichika doesn't feel the love right now because of nasty wenches like you mistreated him!"

And that was all that Shiina said. Houki launched herself at him as she used the swords. Her Akatsubaki would be perfect for a fight.

Yet, Shiina just waited for her to attack. He had his powers under control and didn't have to worry during this fight.

"Little kids are usually quick to point it's someone else's fault," Houki shot back while attacking her opponent. "And why should I take responsibility when it's clear he's in the wrong, and I'm in the right of everything?"

Shiina just stood back and let her get close. The shrine maiden raised her swords and attacked Shiina first.

The Sekirei just raised his hands and blocked her attack.

"What?"

The eyes of Shiina were just filled with nothing. Instead, she stared into the seemingly endless depths of the abyss that was his eyes.

"You have left me no choice. Decay." The Sekirei just spoke as Houki could see how her energy was being drained. Finally, she got away fast enough from Shiina, who just stood back.

Not all her points were going, though. But fighting like this wouldn't work.

It wasn't like a Sekirei fight where his powers could stop his foe completely. Yashima was taken out by one blow, yet Houki wasn't done.

But she didn't have any other weapons to fight her foes. So she stood back and flew around. Shiina had guessed that Houki would focus on his Ashikabi.

Unfortunately for her, Shiina had guessed so. His speed was enough to keep up with her, and he grabbed her by the leg.

The words were again spoken in a different word.

"Death Garden." This time, he ensured that the Infinite Stratos would fall. Not destroyed but just drained of energy. Right before Yukari's feet, Houki landed.

Or that would be the term that some would use if they were graceful.

Crashed down was more accurate.

Shiina had enough control to keep her clothes on, although that skin-tight suit wasn't something someone could fight in comfortably.

"All yours, Yukari-san." The Sekirei usually didn't approve of his Ashikabi's brutal fighting, but for Houki and all the things he had heard about her, he wouldn't mind if she did go overboard.

The youngest Sahashi just nodded at her while viciously smiling at Houki.

"You're shit out of luck, Houki. In a sword fight, you'd have me beat. But in a knuckle fight, I was always like mum."

Cracking her knuckles, Yukari was smiling at her foe. Houki scurried on her feet and was right on time to blow the left blow. She kept her fists close and as she tried to avoid the fists or kicks. Yukari didn't let up, and Shiina stood away while he crossed his arms.

Unlike before, he didn't look away; his eyes were nearly showing that he enjoyed the fight. When Houki blocked one foot, she pulled and raised her fist again. It came crashing through, but Yukari had foreseen that.

Their fists met, and for a brief second, they struggled until Yukari hit through. Houki has smashed away. Right into the entrance to the flat.

Houki was bruised and battered, but neither he nor his Ashikabi could be bothered to pity her.

The girl crawled back on her feet while Yukari just stood waiting.

The eyes of Houki were more like a crazy animal. She raced at Yukari, who stood ready for the raised fist.

It was too easy to grab, but Yukari didn't expect the savage upper kick from the heels. Instead, it slammed her teeth together, and she kept it low when another blow came through. Then, blocking another hit, Yukari readied her left fist.

When Houki stood back, Yukari took that second to launch her fist below the ribs. Shiina winced this time as he knew what power his Ashikabi possessed.

Twisting the fist, Houki was stunned by the pain. And it was all that she registered when her light went out.

She fell on the cold floor as Yukari pulled back. Before she could say something else, she felt a presence next to her. Shiina stood, looking proudly at her while he offered her a wet clot.

"You held back." He offered it to her while he took up Houki on his shoulders.

"I can't go all out on her."

That was all that needed to be said.

"We take the easy way out?" It was more a question as Shiina couldn't fly with a load on his shoulders.

"That is the best for us. I don't think anyone is going to ask questions."

Fights had become more and more common. Shiina just wondered what would happen from now.

The walk to Kusano's house wouldn't be an easy one.

Charlotte Dunois had never thought that bare-fisted fighters were that good. Nevertheless, Nishi had followed her and three of his Sekirei.

One of them, 106, he didn't allow in the fight, though.

Only Kuzuri and Kujika were allowed. Shijime was sitting on his shoulder. The Sekirei would fight on a grass patch where they could get close.

During this match, Nishi stood aside and let the two fighters do their bidding. Despite their outfit, a bikini for Kujika and a leather suit for Kuzuri, both had no trouble avoiding Charlotte. It was more of a dance of speed and strength for them as they switched up.

Charlotte had no way to turn to her guns as they were avoided. While she had her drill, it didn't work against such nimble and fast foes.

"Go, girls. Beat the crap out of her." It had been ages since the Sekirei got into a real scrap. And this Infinite Stratos proved to be that fight.

"Damn you. Stand still."

With a downward kick, Kujika shut down her left gun as Kuzuri got in close. After that, a few quick punches were all she needed to make short work of the fight.

Before she would switch, she looked down at Charlotte's chest.

"Damn, girl. What did you eat to grow them like this?" The blush made the French Pilot stammer, but what did it next was even worse. A quick grope of Kuzuri, who cackled like a maniac as she jumped up.

"You pervert!" Charlotte shouted, wanting to go after her. But she felt her body thrown aside by Kujika, who had gotten close.

"What? You never had some fun?"

Charlotte would have never guessed some beings could throw an Infinite Stratos around like it was a featherweight.

Nishi clapped when he witnessed that.

"You are perverts." Charlotte just shot back as she looked around.

"So? You're all part of this guy harem." Kuzuri just giggled while Kujika nodded to her question.

"Me, Kuzuri here, and Shijime over there. We are three of the six that Nishi has." Charlotte turned to her SMG, which Kuzuri was faster. Again, kicking it out of her hand, the punches were just a bit harder this time.

"And you agree to that?"

"We reacted to him. He winged us. Like the others. The other three are loony, but they also love him." Kuzuri answered.

"And you are fine with sharing him? Isn't that immoral?" Charlotte wanted to fight back, but she felt her body catching up.

The close-quarter fight wasn't her forte, especially since her guns weren't much help here. And with no one around, support wasn't going to come.

"If you're talking about morals. First, A. We're Sekirei, not human beings. Second, B. We heard what you girls did to Ichika in school. That is messed up." Kujika answered while Charlotte glowered at her reply.

"You do not understand. Some things cannot."

"There is something like decency. Even our crazy sisters know that. And now, our Ashikabi can control them. You girls do not do that." Kuzuri stood by her sister as they looked angry about the fight.

"They wouldn't attack human beings or those who wouldn't fight. We heard that you girls have turned on him more than once. If you ask us, that is worse."

Charlotte wanted to fight back, shout back, curse, and prove those perverted aliens wrong.

But she couldn't. Charlotte knew they were right when they said that.

The memories took her back to when she and Ichika shared rooms. How relieved he was, how kind and fun the times were back then.

After she revealed she was a girl, she wanted to have more things with him. But yet, she found that she couldn't.

It was all just not worth it. She became just like the other girls.

"You do not understand."

"How about this?" Nishi shouted as he got in closer with Shijime on his shoulders. The younger Sekirei just looked like she was ready for the fight. Yet, she was held back by the others.

"Why is it so damn hard for you girls to swallow your pride and admit you love the guy? Why can't you say that?"

The Ashikabi looked over his lovelies.

"I am not shy or proud enough that I can't say I love them. I love those girls. All three of them; Kuzuri, Kujika, and Shijime here. And the other three, Yuna, Hatae and Chiyo. I love all of them. My life changed for the better when I winged them."

Charlotte knew something better. Turning to the Ashikabi, she flew right at him.

"Sanada!" A horrified cry came from Kuzuri and Kujika, but Nishi didn't fear the blow. Shijime jumped from his shoulders, and her punch came right through, stopping Charlotte dead in her tracks.

It proved to be enough to stop the French Pilot. Fortunately, the shield points just drained, and her body gave out.

"Thanks for that, Shijime."

"Good thing that I came along then." The girls clomped at the Ashikabi after they wanted kisses. This fight had turned well in their favor.

Seo never would know how often Minato would ask him to help, but he couldn't deny that he owed that college kid a bit too many favors.

And well, payment would come due. He had to feed four hungry brats, after all.

From what he heard, those two were the latest brats who came to the school. Airis Luxembourg and Djbril Emulail. However, they did check up at Matsu to learn more about that unit.

It turned out that Tabane Shinonono had developed that unit. So there must be something in Luxembourg that made those damned machines possible.

Seo didn't know, and he wouldn't ask.

What he did ask was what those units were. Not just Airis' units, Seventh Princess and Djbril's were fourth-generation units, which were a tier above the ones that were used in In most countries.

The Imperial Knight used a sword, while Seo couldn't guess how Airis would fight.

She used a spear, yeah, but that was about it.

He sighed as he watched the two.

It sucked though they were fighting school girls. However, that Djbril had a very nice rack. Seo stopped those thoughts. If his Sekirei found out, they'd zap him. And he got that enough from the brats back home.

He dreaded when those four would go through the terrible twos. Four times the usual brat and excited to ten. Oh, things were looking so great for him.

As for the twins, they eyed their foes while Airis and Djbril stood ready.

"So what are we dealing with? Some girls are into leather uniforms. Where is Ichika?"

Hikari wanted to curse back at her, but Hibiki held her back.

"Sis, not worth the trouble. Let's get them down."

"Lady Airis. They're not worth the trouble. Let's just get them down easily. I doubt we will have much trouble with them."

When Hibiki heard that, she couldn't believe this would be easy.

"You really don't know what you're dealing with, are you?"

The Knight spoke this time for herself and her mistress.

"A couple of twins who walked straight out of a house of low appeal."

"Proper way to describe a whorehouse. But you made our job just easy."

Clasping their hands, the Thunder Twins chanted.

"Karitachi No Ikazuchi!" Like thunder from the sky, a lightning bolt hit the two Pilots.

Seo admitted that the screams were delightful and fun to hear, mainly after he pegged Airis as a brat.

The machines got overloaded, and to prevent self-destruction, they shut down.

The good news for the two Pilots was that they didn't explode.

The bad news was that their bodies would now bear the brunt of electricity through their veins.

When the light show was over, the three went to look for their foes.

"My girls use lightning. Using a machine against them is pure folly." Seo spoke for them as he put his hands on the shoulders and just the shoulders of Hikari and Hibiki.

"Folly? Big words were coming from you, Seo."

The 'Loser Ashikabi' barked a laugh as he heard those words.

"I'm not an idiot, Hikari. First, though, I have to ask. Whose idea was it to fry those two?"

"Matsu. We will get paid for this job. And this time, I'm keeping the money." Hibiki spoke for the two while they just watched the two.

"Well, better get them back. I think that Sahashi and Orimura would like to have a long chat with them." Then, grabbing them by the feet, he pulled them with him.

He had the idea of taking the machines from their bodies and selling them simply, but he knew that being greedy had always cost him.

Rin had her spear out when she watched Kaho. The Sekirei was using a weapon similar to hers. The naginata would prove to be a dangerous way to fight against her.

Oosumi had followed the two. It was the middle of a crossroads; luckily, his authority of the Discipline Squad had managed to shut down the traffic. He couldn't do anything about the spectators, but if he was honest, he didn't mind them. They would be getting an excellent match for their lives to remember.

Rin could barely wait as she was the first to strike. She had it hammered in her head that using her canon was just not done. It could lead to many casualties.

That was why she combined her scimitars and raced to Kaho. The Sekirei just jumped and kept her foe at bay. Rin was fast and agile, but so was Kaho.

Oosumi had guessed that his girl could make great money as an acrobat if their career in Sekirei fell through.

Even with the naginata armed, Kaho did not injure herself. Nevertheless, she proved to frustrate Rin into dangerous territory.

"Why you! Stand still!" Kaho just raised an eyebrow. When did anyone stand still as they were ordered by a crazy person who wanted to impale them?

She kept quiet, though, as she began to read her foe. While Rin proved extremely dangerous with her machine, there was no comparison with Sekirei. She lacked any style or any idea besides stabbing.

She was nimble, though, and fast as well.

She thrust several times in the direction of Kaho, who avoided her strikes. It was all too easy for her as she began to read her foe.

Kaho used her naginata to strike right at Rin when Rin outstretched just a bit too far. The absolute defense protected her from it, but it did eat away at her shield points.

Another blow came from the stick as Kaho used her enhanced strength to deliver another blow to Rin's body.

"Damn you." Kaho reacted faster as she jammed her weapon into the shoulder and twisted it. Destroying weapons was easier than avoiding them, especially after she had learned from the Infinite Stratos.

With another kick, Rin got thrown to the side of a building.

"That was your cannon," Kaho answered as Rin got back on her feet.

"I don't need that to defeat you." Again, her machine gave her the wings as she wanted to get to the Sekirei.

Kaho stood ready; this time, she blocked the strike from Rin.

Oosumi watched the struggle. It was a thing of beauty. Then, finally, he saw how machines and extraterrestrial nature fought on this planet.

Kaho's feet were dragged into the concrete while Rin's machine sounded like a car that couldn't move.

Their power was beyond a human being like himself. And yet, the power of Kaho came through from him. Without him, she wasn't as strong.

The Sekirei were fascinating beings.

"Why do you fight back? It has nothing to do with you."

Kaho's eyes looked at Rin, and what the Chinese girl saw made her shiver.

"I owe Musubi a debt. And through her, her Ashikabi. So, I will not let you do as you wish."

Kaho took them out of the concrete using her feet and kicked Rin up. The girl could feel her body going into the sky.

Number 87 followed her; this time, Kaho's turn was to go on the offensive. She wouldn't wait, though, until Rin had recovered. So this time, Rin felt her body being rocked. Again, the attacks were relentless and brutal.

Rin's eyes couldn't follow the moves and speed of her foe. So breaking off an attack seemed like the most logical choice.

She moved, but Kaho didn't let up. Rin was intercepted mid-flight as Kaho rapidly caught up with her. It was too easy for Kaho, who had seen more brutal and harsh fights.

"Damn you." Breaking her spear apart, Rin elected to use the scimitars in two different hands. But before she could even do so, Kaho had thrown the spear out of her hands. Twirling the spear around, the Sekirei jammed the wooden part into Rin's abdomen.

The Absolute Defense wouldn't see that as a threat, so her body had to take that. Twisting the wood around, Kaho knew very well this fight was near its end.

Pulling her naginata up, she smashed the blade down on Rin, who got knocked out.

Oosumi was glad this fight was over. It had taken his girl long enough.

As usual, he walked up to her and ruffled her hair.

"Great job, Kaho." Kissing him on the lips, the woman smiled.

"Thank you, Oosumi. Now, we should get back to the house." The Ashikabi couldn't argue with that. So both he and Kaho grabbed a foot of Rin and pulled her along. Her head was hitting the street while they walked home, hand in hand.

Oosumi wondered how this day would end.

Chifuyu was the only one who couldn't get away from the porch; frankly, she was grateful for it. If she could stop Miya, it would send a message.

But unfortunately, that was a pipe dream. She had been trying to fight Miya before and always failed.

The Pillar of the Sekirei stood before, proud and undefeated. Yet, she was tired, wounded, and running on fumes.

She had cuts, her outfit had been destroyed, and she couldn't count the pieces she was bleeding from.

Miya's power was vast and beyond what she had ever thought.

"Why don't you fight me seriously?"

"If I do that, I will kill you and destroy the city. And that would cause more unfortunate events for Ichika." But, Miya answered as Chifuyu had always thought she would be, could be better than Miya.

Yet, despite all she had done, she hadn't managed to get even close to her.

The distance hadn't shortened. It was just more than she could ever hope to cover.

She had tried everything she could do, and yet, her swords had been missing trim pieces. Yet, Miya's remained untouched. Hers wasn't damaged at all.

"I swore I would put my sword away when my husband perished. And yet, it is for him I took it up again. While our story is one, Chifuyu, and that of your brother and Minato is another, now they are connected. You have not learned what I taught you, Chifuyu, nor did you heed my warning from last summer."

Chifuyu could no longer hold the sword, and blood, staining the metal and flowing from her fingers.

"I do not need that."

"That the poison would taint those girls in their heads is one thing, but that you, out of all people, would willingly betray your brother is beyond me."

"You do not understand." Then, walking over to Chifuyu, Miya delivered one powerful slap, which Chifuyu had never experienced.

"Maybe I do. You refuse to admit to the fact that you adore your brother. You're too stubborn to think you can take it easy on him." Miya shook her head when she heard the arguments that came from Chifuyu.

"That's easy to say for you. Have you ever tried to see how it would look? Me, who is favoring my baby brother. That'd go well professionally." The Brunhilde shot back at the woman she looked up to years ago.

"Did you even think that it would matter? Of course, blatant favoritism isn't something to be proud of, but Ichika turned to strangers and an old friend instead of his sister at school makes me wonder how much you care for him."

Chifuyu got a boiling point when she heard that line coming from Miya. "You think you know it all, do you, Miya? Or did you hear so much coming from that perv of a Minato?"

Miya's eyes flattened when she heard Chifuyu talk about her past and present tenants.

"You can't order me around, not about the ones who are living in my house."

Chifuyu just glared at Miya, who no longer could care about the things that happened in the past.

"Maybe not, but do you have any legal claim for Ichika? Huh, do you?"

Again, their swords clashed; this time, they got closer while the two war goddesses glared at each other.

"He's 16 years old, and it wouldn't be hard to arrange something with his knowledge. But, then again, in our lives, does it matter? Do we follow the rule of law? I think not." Miya shot back.

"I don't care. I'm going to take him home."

"Not on my watch." Miya found that the fight had gone on for long enough. With a handy move, she disarmed Chifuyu, and her sword smashed into the skull of the Brunhilde.

"And here it ends," Miya said to no one in particular, and as if on cue, the rest of the Ashikabi ended up at his house.

With their defeated foes, the fierce battle between the two groups has ended.

"Why did you all bring them back to my house?"

Minato asked as he opened the gates. He didn't know when but Kusano had slipped out of the house.

"Kuu." Before he could finish that line, the youngest Sekirei tied the Infinite Stratos up in the knots and roots.

"Your Kuu was right. And for your question, Sahashi. Those girls belong here, and with this, we have paid you back on it."

Nishi spoke for the entire group of Ashikabi and Sekirei who had gathered in front of Minato and Ichika.

"And with this, I'm going home. Let's go."

"Yes, Nishi." Even the three dangerous ones got the message. They followed as the biker walked off.

"I'm also off, Sahashi. Don't forget about the payment." Seo shot back at Minato while the twins followed.

"Thank you for the help, you two." But, unfortunately, it appeared that bad habits couldn't be covered as they bowed to Minato and Miya.

"I'm also off, boss. See you on Monday." Jin wrapped his hand around Yashima's waist. Minato didn't want to know what he whispered in her ear.

"I am going to MBI. Someone has to write a report to your mother." Oosumi walked off with Kaho as they chatted about the fight.

Shigi looked relieved that Kuno did not have to fight, but Minato wasn't done yet.

"Kuno, can you sing them to sleep? To make sure they won't wake up."

The song Sekirei immediately understood what Minato meant by that. It wasn't an issue for her, though.

"No problem, Minato."

Her song sang the girls to sleep, and the girls fell into a more profound slumber than they were already.

"With that done, I'm going to leave, Minato. See you around." The former ronins shared a friendly nod as Shigi left with Kuno. Only Ichika and Minato stayed behind in the garden.

"I hate to be the one who says it, but what do we do with them now?" Ichika spoke the lines as they all looked at each other about what they should do.

"For now, let's." The groans caused Minato, Ichika, and Miya, who had stayed behind, to tense.

It was Houki who spoke first.

"Ichika, my childhood friend. My crush. Why can't I be honest?"

Ichika was about to lose it from just that as he wanted to think of every term as Houki told him.

Rin was next.

"You were so nice. So kind. You treated me so well at school. Why have you changed?"

Ichika looked back at Minato, who was just as close to losing it.

But the insanity didn't end there.

"I was wrong about men. You showed me that. And yet, you kept rejecting me. Was it me or you who couldn't see past their insecurities?"

Cecilia's confession fitted her nature just well.

The Sekirei came out of the house to watch the events.

"You were there for me. A person who could see for me, a person who would protect me. Where did I go astray?"

The words of Charlotte brought back the peace and quietness that Ichika had experienced during those days.

"You were strong. You showed me. I made you my wife." That was Laura. Even after all this time, they hadn't managed to hammer that idiotic idea out of her.

"I wanted you. You were so strong, so resilient. And yet, it kept me drawing to you." Ichika wasn't sure if her confession of Tatenashi was meant to make him feel flattered or angry.

"When I first saw you, I wanted to make you my servant. You were perfect. A knight to serve a lady." Airis had, of course, that idea in her head. A real royal lady in the making. But for Ichika, it was clear how much of a spoiled brat she was.

"Where did I go wrong? Who went wrong?" Chifuyu said. Miya didn't miss the look that Ichika sent her. She knew her stuff about love and relations.

Ichika was blown away by what those girls told him, but at the same time, Ichika was also really creeped out by those words.

"Eh, okay. What just happened?" He would use much more colorful language if he weren't around Miya and Kusano.

"Weird how this might sound." Matsu started.

"I believe." Uzume followed up.

"That those girls." Chiho continued.

"For some reason or another." Kagari was next.

"Still have some conception." Tsukiumi had also heard them.

"That they still are in love with you." Musubi ended the whole thing as Ichika wasn't sure how that was possible. But, after all, that happened, and everything was said and done, those girls were in love with him.

Before he could even continue that line of thought, Matsu had a call coming straight through.

From her satellite? She didn't have to guess who was calling her.

"I'll admit I hadn't expected you to do this," Matsu answered the call coming through from up there. The tone cut off all voices as Matsu had her hand close to her ears.

"You'd pick up stuff. And you'd be too focused on the fight that was going on." Kanzashi answered without being embarrassed about it.

"I will admit you're better than me, though. But, still, for a human girl, damn impressive, right?" Matsu was about to congratulate Kanzashi, but she knew better than to give them fuel.

"Cut to the case, Sarashiki. Why did you call me?"

"With you all busy getting a Pilot who carried a Y-chromosome back to the school, something happened at MBI. I got no clue about the chatter, but I heard something about Number Four getting out. Am I correct in assuming that was the number of that Sekirei? It has something to do with the Discipline Squad."

Matsu felt the earth opening under her feet and swallowing her whole.

Her knees collapsed underneath her, and with a horrified look, she turned to all present, conscious or not.

"The Black Sekirei has returned."

And all knew what that meant if that psychopath was again among the living.

"And from what I see, she is coming your way."

Ending song. {mew} Koukai no Uta (English Version).

The first part is the instrumental break. From 0:00 to 0:10

The ending begins with the mysterious ball forming. Then there's the current-aged Ichika Orimura, stuck in the IS cage.

Can you see the light? It's right in front of you. And now you're at the fork within the road, alone. No one else, nowhere else to go...

Then, in the scene where Ichika was an infant, a little Chifuyu watched over the crib.

No turning back, going forward, move ahead. It's tough, you're scared, but you know that you have to cut every tie. No more home to go to

Then, the still young-aged Chifuyu takes her infant brother away from the place he was born before they can lay a hand on him to protect him.

And it hurt to give up all this light you built up. Gentle and generous, kind, warm love. And yet, you turn, take a step, and walk right on.

The next scene is Ichika's childhood history with Houki and Rin in two split panels. One panel on the top is his childhood history with Houki, where he trains with her in the art of Kendo. And the other panel on the bottom is his childhood history with Lingyin, where she made a particular promise to him on that day.

But no need to worry if you have enough today, we'll find it on the way. Let's go and look- together, we can start!

Next, the middle-school-aged Ichika looks at the middle school building. Then inside the middle school, we saw Ichika's eyes; he was drawn by the machine, which happens to be an IS in the restricted room. Then it shows the symbol of IS, part of the IS mechanics, and there's the current-aged Houki Shinonono.

You don't have to be so strong. No, you don't have to anything to lead as long as your heart is true and you believe

Then the current-aged Ichika falls slowly into the dark area.

It's your spirit and your soul that will keep saving you and make you strong…

Although still falling, Ichika opens his eyes in a few moments and then…

No matter what comes - the pain, the hurt, move on!

Musubi and Minato appear and welcomes Ichika into the light door.

So now, don't be afraid, let's walk on today! Whoa! Whoa!

Then Ichika looks upon them with the sparks of light rising and walks into the door of light. At the same time, Houki, in her near silhouette dressed in the black coat (similar to the Organization XIII outfit), continues to go after him. And then that's it.

Well, this was a trip. I hope you don't mind the Sekirei fight was done with other Sekirei instead of the pregnant ones.

It was for the best. Again, the requester has taken one weird route and I went along as I haven't been able to get it through to him.

Besides that, I did have fun on writing the fights and all.

Next chapter will be here soon. Working on it as we speak and the update will be for here soon.

Saluut.
