DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER.

Even as the car drove away, Cygnus and Druella emerged from the house, watching on in shock.

They couldn't believe their eyes and ears.

Bellatrix, their eldest child, or rather, ex-daughter, had actually fallen in love with a Muggleborn.

What had he done to make her fall in love with him, so much that she was even willing to defy her family traditions?!

But then, this boy had saved Andromeda.

Why hadn't Bellatrix told them?

Perhaps they would not have believed it.

And yes, they couldn't believe it.

And even if it were true, what right did that boy have to even woo a pureblood like that?

And why had Bellatrix just run off with him?

They stood there for a while and then went back inside.

Meanwhile, in the car, Abhimanyu in the backseat turned to Bellatrix on his left side, looking out of the window, clearly looking upset. He could see some tears on her cheeks.

He moved his hand towards her and said softly, "Bella, I'm sorry for..."

"Don't be," Bellatrix suddenly spoke a little harshly.

She then turned towards him and launched herself on him. Hugging him for all it was worth it, she broke down in tears.

Abhimanyu held her in his arms and whispered, "I'm so sorry. I didn't think your father would do this to you. This is my fault."

Bellatrix cried out, "No, it isn't! It's my fault, I…"

Abhimanyu held her and said, "Don't blame yourself."

Bellatrix whispered in his ear, "Then stop blaming yourself," before once again breaking into sobs.

Meanwhile, Lord Voldemort stood in the wedding hall, clearly angry.

Rodolphus was standing on the stage, horror written all over his face.

The crowd, consisting of families who supported the Dark Lord, was filled with fear, anger and anxiety.

And in front of the Dark Lord, lay Auror Richardson and his apprentice, both dead.

Voldemort hissed, "Such a shame, that a member of the House of Black has run off with a Mudblood! What happened to you?"

Walburga cried out, "Someone must have told that boy what was going to happen!"

Voldemort asked, "Is there anyone within this assembly that has associations with Pandey?"

Cygnus emerged slowly from the crowd and spoke nervously, "My other two daughters."

Voldemort hissed, "Go bring them to me."

A minute later, Cygnus and Druella were standing right outside Andromeda's room, knocking on her door.

"Andromeda," Cygnus shouted, "Open this door now!"

There was no response.

Cygnus pulled out his wand and hissed, "Alohomora!"

The door was unlocked and Cygnus and Druella stormed into the room, only to find it empty.

And then, on Andromeda's nightstand, he saw something, a piece of paper.

He went towards it and picked up the paper, and then he and Druella were both looking at it in shock.

It was a letter, written by Andromeda.

Father and Mother,

We cannot tolerate what you have done to Bellatrix who has done nothing but protect us throughout our lives. I never ever thought I would be saying this to you, but you disgust me!

You loved us in our initial years, but as we started growing up, the Black Family's importance of blood purity became more important to you than our feelings, our welfare, than love for us. You became dominant and constantly put us down, especially Bellatrix, and for what?! Riches, power; honestly, I don't care about these, and neither does Bellatrix for that matter.

You say that Abhimanyu Pandey is weak, that he is lustful, unworthy of Bella. Do you even know that I was once nearly raped? And that day, in Hogsmeade, it was not Bellatrix who came to the rescue and saved me, it was Abhimanyu, despite the fact that we had treated him rudely for several years.

You will want to ask why we never told you about it. You had already started to put us down with your demands. You never would have believed or accepted it. Rodolphus and Avril said that he set it all up; and we know that you would have said the same thing. You never listened to us, and when Bellatrix tried to speak her mind out and stand up to you, you silenced her and tried to remove her memories, calling her a disgrace to the family.

You know nothing about him, and yet you say he is nobody; filth for that matter! Honestly, this entire family is blinded by prejudice, and we cannot bear it any longer!

Abhimanyu Pandey is a good man, and if you dare to disown Bellatrix for loving him, then you will lose Narcissa and me as well! Don't think that we will forgive you, at least not for a very long time!

Your daughter,

Andromeda Black

Cygnus and Druella were shocked to the core to read the letter, but were not the least remorseful.

And yes, even if Pandey had not set up Andromeda, even it that fact was true, that meant nothing to them. He had no right to even associate with a pureblood witch like Bellatrix, or rather, a blood traitor; she had become one by falling in love with that boy.

Blood purity was of utmost importance, not love.

But by disowning Bellatrix, they had essentially lost the other two girls.

But no, they would not allow this to weaken their zeal.

Soon, there came the sounds of blasting on the family tapestry, not one, but three.

And so it was that not one, but all three of the Black sisters were disowned.

Around 12:45 pm, the car, after having stopped at a park for a short while for Bellatrix to have a moment alone before proceeding, finally reached Park Lane and stopped in front of Abhimanyu's house on the driveway.

It was raining when Abhimanyu and Bellatrix got out a little slowly, and Ginger rushed to the door and knocked a few times.

The door was opened by Subhadra who asked, "Oh, it's you, what's going on?"

Ginger replied, "We're back, and all of it; not good."

It was then that Subhadra noticed Abhimanyu holding Bellatrix as they walked up to her.

She took one look at Bellatrix's face and knew that something had happened.

Some minutes later…

Abhimanyu was sitting next to Bellatrix on the sofa in his living room, adjacent to the window. Ginger was sitting on a perpendicular sofa, and Subhadra was sitting next to Bellatrix. R.K. Pandey on the other hand, was standing just in the middle of the living room.

Abhimanyu and Ginger had just explained to them about Cygnus and Druella trying to forcibly marry her to Rodolphus, how she had been disowned when she had finally declared that she loved Abhimanyu, and how they had narrowly escaped.

Subhadra hugged Bellatrix and said, "I am so sorry dear child, how could your father do this to you?!"

Abhimanyu then spoke, "Ma, Papa, I know you may not like what I did, but I did the right thing. I just couldn't let her be forcibly married to that man!"

R.K. cried out, "You could have been killed! What were you thinking?!"

Subhadra cried out, "Now your life will be in even more danger, hers too for that matter!"

Bellatrix spoke, "It's not his fault. If it hadn't been for him, I don't know what would have happened, except that I would have become a monster by the Dark Lord's side."

Just then, there was a knock on the front door and R.K. opened it to find two girls, one with black hair and the other one with blonde hair.

The black haired girl spoke, "Hello is this Abhimanyu Pandey's house?"

R.K. asked, "Who are you?"

The black haired girl replied, "I'm Andromeda Black and this is my sister Narcissa Black. Do you remember us? We had met some years ago."

R.K. looked at them for a few moments and then replied, "Ahhhh, yes, we had met but it was only once, and briefly too. But Abhimanyu has mentioned you a lot. Is there anything you need?"

Narcissa replied in a slightly shaky voice, "Yes, please help us."

Andromeda continued, "Our family has disowned us. We have nowhere to go."

R.K. looked at them in shock for a few moments, his mouth hanging open and then exclaimed, "What?! It can't be! I never thought anyone could be so cruel as to disown all their children!"

Andromeda said, "That is the Black family. It's either be pureblood to the core and hate Muggles and Muggleborns, or be disowned. And our parents disowned Bellatrix simply because she chose Abhimanyu over Rodolphus Lestrange!"

At that moment, Narcissa burst into tears.

Without any hesitation, R.K. at once pulled them into the house and hugged Narcissa, who proceeded to cry into his shoulder. Andromeda wanted to cry but she did not. She wanted to be strong, for Narcissa and Bellatrix.

She slowly moved into the living room, and as soon as she did, everyone sitting there stood up.

Bellatrix cried out, "Andi, Cissy, you too?!"

Andromeda burst into tears upon seeing her sister and rushed into her arms crying out, "I couldn't bear not being with you! I can't take it anymore! I won't lose you and Cissy! I can't!"

Bellatrix and Andromeda wept in each other's arms, even as Abhimanyu looked upon the scene, tears in his eyes. Ginger moved over to his best friend and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder even as Subhadra hugged the two girls and tried to comfort them.

Meanwhile, the Dark Lord paced back and forth in the hall, seething with rage.

For, he had just heard about Bellatrix's sisters running away and being disowned.

He had been pacing back and forth for quite a long time now, and no one had dared to speak with him.

Finally, Voldemort broke the silence saying, "All the Black sisters have run away, they shall sorely regret it."

Hewson approached the dark lord and said with hatred in his voice, "I will do everything I can to destroy that boy! He shall…"

"Absolutely not Hewson Leverge," Voldemort hissed, "He has support of the Bones family and the Potter family."

Just then, Rodolphus who was standing on the stage, a little away, nervously spoke, "My lord, I, I have lost my fiancé. What am I to do? My lord, pl…"

"You have failed Rodolphus Lestrange," Voldemort suddenly turned towards him and hissed in his face, "You couldn't even identify your own master from that imposter, Pandey! You have been shamed by a mere Mudblood, and the shame of it all rests on your shoulders alone."

Rodolphus looked down, ashamed and sorrowful.

And then suddenly, he heard a female voice calling out, "Wait!"

He, as well as everyone suddenly looked up and towards the source of the voice, which was none other than Avril Leverge, emerging from the crowd.

She walked up to Rodolphus and said fiercely, "You don't have to share this alone, Rodolphus. I have been shamed by him as well, I was nearly arrested thanks to him, and more importantly, he has ruined everything for me. He took away my best friend, emboldened that filth of a stepbrother Collin Saunders, and now, has made me out to be a Death Eater and caused my stepmother's death. You and I shall avenge this, together. You and I shall slay Bellatrix and Pandey, or the Dark Lord will and we will make sure that they die a painful death, and then, we'll slay everyone that they love, and make an example of them, together!"

Rodolphus looked up at Avril and moving towards her, he took her hands and said fiercely, "Yes, we shall destroy them together."

Avril spoke a little huskily, "I know your pain, and I will help you, if only you will fulfill something for me."

"I will do anything," Rodolphus declared.

Avril then spoke, "Then marry me. Marry me and I shall make you happy, just as I know that you will make me happy, and I promise you, I will hold you in my arms in bed, better than Bellatrix could ever do to Pandey."

Rodolphus looked at her and then said, "Yes, Avril, I shall marry you."

Avril whispered, "Then let us seal this, now, two of us, coming together."

"Yes," Rodolphus whispered, "Avril, my love."

And then, Avril and Rodolphus embraced each other fiercely and Avril fiercely kissed him.

After quite a while, they ended the kiss and slowly pulled away from each other.

And then, they suddenly noticed the Dark Lord looking at them, with a look of approval.

"I appreciate your bloodlust, and your desire to help him, Avril Leverge," the Dark Lord spoke, "let me seal your marriage for you."

Rodolphus gasped in wonder and spoke, "I am honored My Lord," even as Avril bowed before him and stood with an evil, haughty expression on her face.

Voldemort stepped onto the stage and said, "Now, come to the middle and stand on either side of me, my loyal followers."

Even as Voldemort positioned himself in the middle, Rodolphus went to the Dark Lord's left side and stood there, while Avril moved to the Dark Lord's right side.

Just then, Hewson who had been watching this stepped onto the stage and said, "Wait. Avril are you sure about this?"

Avril replied, "Yes I am father. I want to marry Rodolphus and seek revenge on that Mudblood who has now caused my stepmother's death."

Rodolphus said, "I was the one who cast the curse."

Avril replied, "It was meant for Pandey. He moved away and it struck her instead."

Hewson added, "I know that you meant to kill Pandey, and I support you for it. Only one thing, promise me that you will take care of my daughter, and that you will help her earn her revenge, yours too by killing Pandey and Bellatrix, or help the Dark Lord kill Pandey should he seek to do it himself."

"I promise, Mr. Leverge," Rodolphus replied.

Hewson then pulled out a box from underneath his coat and handed it to her.

He opened it to reveal a ring. He said, "This was your mother's wedding ring that she wore. She would want you to have it. I want you to have it now, to slip on Rodolphus' finger."

Avril looked at the ring, a silver one with a green gem, with a fierce looking snake inscribed on the gem, and slowly took the ring.

She then asked, "What about my stepmother's ring, and your wedding ring?"

Hewson replied, "I will give stepmother's ring to Rodolphus, to slip on your finger. She would want you to wear it."

With that, he moved towards the corpse of Macready Leverge, kissed her, and whispered, "Macready, you were a lovely wonderful woman. I hope you will forgive me for taking off your ring. I'm sure you would want Avril to have it. And I swear; you shall be avenged. Pandey shall die!"

With that, he slowly slipped off a golden wedding ring with a green gemstone having a snake's inscription on it and gave it to Rodolphus.

He then moved away and stood just in front of the stage.

Voldemort spoke to them about what they would do, and then, he began the ceremony.

He spoke, "Rodolphus Romulus Lestrange, do you take Avril Leverge to be your faithful, lawfully wedded wife, and swear to stand by her, until death do you part?"

"I do," Rodolphus replied, and slipped the ring he had onto Avril's left index finger.

Turning to Avril, the Dark Lord spoke, "Avril Leverge, do you take Rodolphus Romulus Lestrange to be your faithful, lawfully wedded husband, and swear to stand by him, until death do you part?"

Avril replied, "I do," and slipped the ring she was holding onto Rodolphus' left index finger.

They then bowed to the Dark Lord, who smiled and declared, "I declare you married for life. Arise, Rodolphus and Avril Lestrange."

They rose up, and Voldemort nodded his head in acknowledgement and declared, "I ask everyone to congratulate the newly-wed couple, in this august assembly."

Everyone began to clap and cheer, and added to that was Walburga screaming, "Soon, my sons shall join you. I will make sure my sons join you!"

Voldemort raised his hands, and then the cheering stopped.

He said a little softly, "I appreciate that from you, Walburga Black. Make sure they do if this family is to be redeemed."

Even as Walburga bowed her head down in respect, the Dark Lord frowned and said, "But I still feel that someone apart from the sisters in this assembly might be associated with Pandey."

He turned to Cygnus who was standing nearby and asked, "Yesterday, did the sisters of Bellatrix go to meet anyone?"

Cygnus replied, "They said they were going to meet Lucius Malfoy, although now I…"

"That will do," Voldemort cut in, turning to look at Abraxas Malfoy, who was standing nearby with a nervous expression on his face, and looking at his son, Lucius Malfoy who was right next to him.

He hissed, "Lucius Malfoy."

That night…

It was dinnertime and Abhimanyu and Bellatrix were sitting next to each other on one side of the dining table, Andromeda and Narcissa on the opposite side, and Abhimanyu's parents were sitting at either end of the table.

Outside, it was raining.

Andromeda spoke, "Thank you for letting us stay with you for tonight Mrs. Pandey."

Subhadra replied, "You can stay with us. We have enough room for all of you. Besides, Rama and I are leaving tomorrow for India."

Abhimanyu added, "I'm more than happy to have you all here."

Narcissa asked, "But we've been disowned. How will we get out school supplies?"

Andromeda said, "I made sure to get a vault in my name yesterday. It has a fair amount of money from the Black family vault. They can't claim it back, because it isn't their vault."

Abhimanyu added, "And I have a vault in my name too, with money that would have been used for college if I had been a Muggle. We should be just fine. Besides, the Potters and the Bones are with us."

Just then, they heard a faint knock on the door.

Abhimanyu went to answer it, opened the door quietly, and then he saw it.

A figure, none other than Lucius Malfoy, looking like he had been beaten badly, collapsed right in front of him.

"Oh god!" Abhimanyu cried out, "It's Lucius, he needs help!"

A minute later, Lucius was lying down on a couch in the living room, parallel to the window.

Subhadra was bandaging a bad wound on his arm. His clothes were looking rather torn.

The Black sisters and Abhimanyu were all by his side. Abhimanyu and Narcissa were kneeling.

Abhimanyu asked, "Lucius, what happened? Who did this to you?"

Lucius replied a little weakly, "I'm sorry. They, they found out about me."

"Who was it?" Narcissa asked.

Lucius replied, "Your father said you had come to see me. He told the Dark Lord about it. He, he used the Cruciatus curse on me, made me spill everything. I, I couldn't hold out any longer. The only thing he didn't ask was for your address. I doubt I would have been able to hide that."

Rama asked, "Then what about the wound on your arm?"

Lucius explained, "The others, Death Eaters, beat me badly. But that's not the worst."

"Then what is it?" Bellatrix asked.

Lucius looked out of the window for a few moments, at the rain, and then back at the group, and then whispered with tears in his eyes, "My father disowned me."

"What?" Abhimanyu cried out, "No! That's not fair! How could he do this to you?"

He broke down and cried and Bellatrix wrapped her arms around him to comfort him.

A few minutes later, Abhimanyu calmed down.

He said, "I'm really sorry about this."

Lucius said, "I am now a fugitive of the Dark Lord, and so are you. The Dark Lord will stop at nothing to destroy you."

Bellatrix gripped Abhimanyu's hands and declared, "Then we will fight him, together."

Andromeda gripped their hands and said, "Together."

Narcissa held their hands and said, "Together."

She then turned to Lucius and asked, "What say you Lucius?"

Lucius looked at them for a long time and finally held Narcissa hands saying, "Together."

Subhadra suddenly spoke up, "I understand you all want to fight, but be careful. I don't want you to be harmed. I'm saying this as a mother. And Lucius, you will need some place to stay. Stay here with us."

Abhimanyu added, "You can share my room for now."

Rama said, "I will try to send money regularly from India."

"No Papa," Abhimanyu protested, "You and Ma will need that money. Besides, we still have all that money in our vaults. And soon, Bellatrix and I will be getting paid."

Bellatrix said, "I agree with Abhimanyu here."

Lucius looked up at the parents and said, "Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Pandey. I have been foolish in looking down upon Muggles and Muggleborns. You have all helped me greatly in realizing my folly. Thank you, Abhimanyu."

Abhimanyu replied, "You chose to help us. That itself was something huge in going past your differences, and you accepted my friendship. It's you who I should be thanking, for helping us."

Lucius replied, "It was all Andromeda, Narcissa, and you. I just did my part to help them."

He then looked at Abhimanyu, and the two friends held each other's hands with respect for their friendship.
