AN: Hello fellow readers! The next chapter is here! I'm back from my vacation or holiday if you're British. This took a while to finish but it's here now.
This chapter is inspired by Wolverine and the X-Men Series Season 1 Episode 13.
Anyways onward with the chapter! I don't own anything at all.
Brotherhood's hideout
"Why do you doubt we can pull this off?" Quicksilver asked as he sat in his chair. "We helped Mystique in capturing those three kids a while back. I think we've done pretty well for you."
"Helping Mystique to capture the three children is more of her request. But trying to send me an unstable mutant that would have vaporized half of Genosha does not do you any good favors." Magneto said through the holo projector.
Quicksilver re-quoted his Father and assured him. "Would have. But it didn't happen."
"No more mishaps, Pietro." Magneto said. "I sent Wanda there along with the three children to make sure the plan stays in motion. I need success on this one."
The Magneto projection disappeared as Quicksilver leaned back to his chair.
"Pietro…"
Quicksilver looked behind and saw his sister standing in the doorway. "Wanda… Father told me about what you said to him in regards to your stance about this."
"I'm sure he did." Scarlet Witch said in annoyance.
"Look… I know you don't like it but father's right." Quicksilver said. "We've been at war since we joined our father's cause. He's doing his best to make sure our kind survives. You've seen what the humans would do to Mutants, especially the MRD. If we don't act, the humans will take us all out."
Scarlet looked at the ground for a minute and then to her brother. "Have you ever had a thought about doing something good for mutants instead of all of this?"
"We are going good for our kind." Quicksilver iterates. "I had a thought before but I'm sticking with what our father believes in. And I expect a welcome back to Genosha once this plan succeeds. Is there a reason why you asked?"
Scarlet Witch stood silent and shook her head. "It's just a thought. The three children are here. Father also instructed me to be on standby in case you need an escape plan."
"Highly doubt that." Quicksilver said as he walked through the door. "We'll wait until it's time. I'm going to find Blob, Avalanche, Toad, and Domino. Mystique already did her part of the plan. So now we have to do ours."
As Quicksilver leaves, he spotted Bakugo, Todoroki, and Tokoyami by the door. He stared at them for a few seconds believing that his sister did her part before leaving completely out of sight.
Scarlet Witch looked at where her brother was and noticed he's gone. She then looked at the three students in which they looked back at her. Scarlet Witch gave them a nod as confidence her plan seems to be going smoothly. She then remembered how Bakugo, Todoroki, and Tokoyami reacted after her explanation of her plan.
Flashback: Unknown Place
"NO! I'm not going to do that!" Bakugo exclaimed after Scarlet Witch explained her plan. "I'd rather do something else!"
"Would you rather have done what I was doing before you woke up?" Scarlet Witch said in annoyance.
"YES!" Bakugo yelled. "At least, I don't remember what happened while being mind controlled by a witch!"
"It's our only option, Bakugo." Todoroki said. "I don't see any other options."
"I agree with Todoroki." Tokoyami said. "Even though I don't like it."
"Keep in mind, if you don't do anything, you'll remain here for the rest of your life." Scarlet Witch said. "And not become the number one hero you've always wanted to achieve."
Bakugo sighed and then said "Fine! I'll do it! Icy Hot and Bird Face, you better not tell anyone in our universe about this!"
Present Time: Brotherhood Hideout
Todoroki was the first to speak to get Scarlet Witch out of her thoughts. "Did you do the other thing?"
"Yes. But I'm just nervous about the outcome." Scarlet Witch said nervously. "My father will not be happy about this."
"We're here right now and it's too late to back out." Tokoyami said.
"I just hope I get to blast someone to hell." Bakugo said. "Let's hope it's worth it."
Scarlet Witch suddenly heard her brother yell out. "Wanda! It's time, let's go!"
"I hope this works." Scarlet Witch said as she motioned the three students to go with her and went with the brotherhood.
X-Mansion: Hallway
Wolverine exited a room in full costume with Beast, Psylocke, Storm, and Emma Frost in tow.
"Logan, are you sure about this?" Beast asked.
"Yes. It's the only lead we have into finding the three missing kids." Wolverine said.
"Are you sure Batman's information is accurate?" Emma Frost said. "He could probably have got it wrong."
"It's accurate. Batman would've never given me that information if it's a false one." Wolverine said.
"Any guesses of who the source could be?" Psylocke asked.
"The source won't reveal their identity." Wolverine said. "I guess we'll find out soon. I'm sure it's someone who's tied up to all of this."
"I hope you're right on that one, Logan." Storm commented. "Although, why did the source contact Batman and not us?"
"Likely because we wouldn't believe them." Wolverine said.
Wolverine then headed towards the living room where the remaining class 1-A students and the other X-Men members with the others followed suit.
X-Mansion: Living Room
"Here's the plan we're-" Wolverine and the others stopped as he noticed the seven students socializing with the rest of the X-Men whilst the latter not fully in costumes. "Why aren't some of you guys geared up?"
Cyclops was the first to speak. "What? We're having a good conversation about the stories of their universe. Must've heard you but we were distra-"
Wolverine got into Cyclops's face. "One, I told you to get ready, so you should be ready. And two, Batman informed me that these Brotherhood clowns are going to attack the Mansion, so we'll make sure we're ready for them."
"Um… Wolverine?" Midoriya asked. "What about our missing classmates?"
Wolverine turned towards Midoriya and the other Class 1-A students. "I'm getting to that. Batman also said those three are with the Brotherhood. It's our only lead right now. Once the rest of the team gets geared up, we'll find them."
Emma Frost suddenly felt someone in the building. "Wait! We won't need to. They're here."
As soon as Emma Frost finished her sentence, Quicksilver arrived and grabbed Emma Frost by her arm and threw her towards Psylocke, taking both of them out for now.
"Take out the telepaths first. Check. Invite ourselves in. Check." Quicksilver said and then ran off.
*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*
Everyone in the living room suddenly felt an earthquake. They all then saw a landslide of dirt crashing towards the windows and flooded the room. The seven class 1-A students and the X-Men were suddenly buried in the dirt and debris.
Suddenly, Quicksilver stood on top of the debris with Blob, Avalanche, Toad, and Domino entering the damaged living room.
"It is now safe to wipe the floor with the X-Men." Quicksilver said as the rest of the Brotherhood started to attack.
Shadowcat, Iceman, and Jiro got up from the debris and noticed Blob in front of them. Iceman shot a beam to Blob's head making it an ice block. Blob stepped back and tried to free himself from the ice on his head. Three heroes suddenly heard shots and saw Domino shooting her guns towards them. All three barely evaded the shots.
Storm got up from the debris and saw Avalanche. She unleashed a small storm cloud towards the villain. Avalanche evaded the cloud and put his hands down for an earthquake shock but felt a kick in the face. The villain stepped back and saw Iida to the side of Storm. The female X-Man released another storm cloud and hit Avalanche.
Iida looked to where Avalanche was and then felt a rush of wind pass him. He spotted Quicksilver and began to run after him. Iida was slower than Quicksilver so he had trouble catching up to the villain. Quicksilver began to throw small debris towards Iida although the latter evaded some of the projectiles. Iida then continued to chase after Quicksilver throughout the mansion.
Blob broke the ice on his head. He suddenly felt a shoulder block and launched him a few feet away. Blob turned to see Colossus and Kirishima charging towards him. The two heroes hit Blob again, launching him to a wall. Blob then threw a punch towards Kirishima but the latter evaded the punch. Blob then took a piece of debris and threw it at Colossus. Blob then moved forwards but saw purple light cards coming towards him as he spotted Gambit. The latter then charged towards Blob.
Domino was looking for the other students and X-Men. She spotted Midoriya rising up from the rubble and began to shoot towards the young hero. Midoriya barely dodged the shot but noticed Domino was still aiming towards the hero. Domino fired another shot but Midoriya was slow but saw someone with a shield jumped in front of him and blocked it. Midoriya saw Yaoyorozu with the shield. He then saw X-23 jump over the shield with her claws out darting towards Domino.
Asui got out of the couch cushion with Cyclops, Jubilee, Angel, and Nightcrawler. She then spotted Quicksilver running towards her. Cyclops fired an optic blast in which Quicksilver dodged it. Asui hopped to one area and spotted Toad jumping towards her.
"Hey, Hot Stuff!" Toad said as he hops towards Asui. "Wanna go on a date?"
"Sorry, you're not my type." Asui said in disgust as she moved away from Toad.
As Asui hops away from Toad, the latter keeps following her until he sees X-23 lunges towards him. Toad hop at the last second to avoid X-23's claws. Toad landed a good distance away from X-23 but suddenly felt floating in the air. Toad looked around while floating and spotted Uraraka. Toad released his tongue to attack Uraraka. The young hero dodged the attack and saw Cyclops attempt to blast Toad.
Toad was quick enough to move his tongue and latched onto Cyclops' visor. He pulled the visor out of Cyclops' eyes. Cyclops released an optic blast that destroyed the roof which the students, The X-Men, and the other Brotherhood members moved away. Toad tried to go for an attack against Cyclops but was intercepted by a kick from Asui.
Cyclops covered his eye but Domino came in and kicked him down. Domino then shoots her guns towards the other class 1-A students and the X-Men. She saw Beast throw a chair towards her. Domino shot the chair but the debris crashed right into her knocking her down. Beast looked at Domino before he felt wind and was punched in the face from Quicksilver.
Quicksilver ran around the area and spotted Yaoyorozu and Midoriya. He ran towards them for an attack. Midoriya and Yaoyorozu took the attack from Quicksilver. The villain then continued to run around and took out Gambit, Nightcrawler, Storm, X-23, Jiro, and Uraraka. He then spotted Shadowcat. Quicksilver was about to attack her until he heard Wolverine shout.
"Pryde, phase!"
Shadowcat stood still as Quicksilver ran through her and hit face first in the wall. Quicksilver then went down on the floor. Shadowcat then shouted. "Watch out, Logan!"
Wolverine looked to see Blob along with Kirishima and Colossus falling down towards him. Wolverine was a second late as Blob, Kirishima, and Colossus crashed into him with enough force they all went down to the sublevels leaving a hole in the destroyed living room.
Iida ran to where Wolverine was and looked down on the hole that was created by Blob, Kirishima, and Colossus. Iida suddenly heard shots fired. He spotted Domino shooting at him and sped away. Domino continued to fire shots at Iida until she felt a kick behind her. She turned around and saw Rogue.
"Hi Rogue." Domino said as she's ready to fight.
"Hi Dom." Rogue replies back as she fights Domino.
Quicksilver started to stir as he noticed the surroundings of the X-Men and the seven Class 1-A students along as Domino was kicked back near him. She then pointed her guns to everyone.
Domino turned to Quicksilver and said. "I think it's time."
"Yeah, they haven't met our trump card." Quicksilver said as he grabbed Domino. "Wanda, now!"
*BLAST*
A sudden explosion appeared near the area where Quicksilver and Domino were. Everyone looked to where the explosion came from. Midoriya then spotted three shadow figures with another person with glowing red hands behind them. He didn't know who the person was but immediately recognised three shadow figures as they came into view.
"K-K-Kacchan?!" Midoriya was shocked to see his childhood friend along with his classmates. "Todoroki and Tokoyami as well?!"
"I guess we don't have to ask them where the missing students were." Beast commented.
The six students were surprised to see their missing classmates but noticed they are sided with the Brotherhood. Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Bakugo were in battle stance as they're ready to join the battle. The Class 1-A students present were in shock to see their three classmates were about to fight the heroes.
"W-Wait! Are they going to fight us?!" Uraraka said nervously.
"What have you done to them?!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed at Quicksilver.
"Let's say we have to play some mind games." Quicksilver said. "Attack them."
"They've been mind controlled." Angel said as he told the others. "Our best chance is to knock them out."
Tokoyami unleashed Dark Shadow to attack the heroes in which all of them evaded the attack. Tokoyami then saw Angel flying towards him for an attack. Tokoyami dodged it and Dark Shadow hit a claw attack knocking down Angel. Tokoyami then saw Storm unleashed storm clouds towards his way. He avoided the clouds and Dark Shadow darted towards Storm. He then saw Jiro with her jacks plugged in and released a sound wave towards him. Tokoyami barely avoided it while Dark Shadow's still attacking the other X-Men.
Todoroki plants right foot down releasing a small ice wall towards Beast and Iceman. Both of the heroes evaded the attack. Todoroki then spotted Shadowcat phasing through the ice and Asui jumping over. Todoroki released a wall of fire preventing the two from reaching him. He then saw Yaoyorozu shoot a net towards him. Todoroki puts his left hand up and releases a fire ball towards the net and burns it. Todoroki then spotted Iceman releasing an ice beam towards him. Todoroki releases a fire blast countering the ice beam.
Bakugo shot an AP shot towards Iida, Midoriya, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops. They evade the shot as Bakugo begins to blast his way towards the heroes. He spotted Nightcrawler and attempted to blast him but the X-Man teleported thus missing it. Bakugo turned to find Nightcrawler only to see Cyclops shooting an optic blast towards him. Bakugo dodged the blast but saw Jubilee shoot some fireworks towards him. The explosive teen blasted out and fired an AP shot which knocked Jubilee out.
Quicksilver stood up and looked around to see Todoroki, Bakugo, and Tokoyami fighting the X-Men and the Class 1-A students. He then spotted Wolverine and Kirishima jumping out of the hole in the damaged living room. Quicksilver was about to run towards them until Colossus landed in front of him. Colossus was about to strike Quicksilver but Dark Shadow appeared and claw attacked the metal X-Man.
While Dark Shadow and Tsukuyomi battled Colossus, Quicksilver saw an explosion which Midoriya and Uraraka landed on the floor hard. Bakugo landed in front of Midoriya. Quicksilver then got to Bakugo and said to him, "You know what? Kill him. We leave no one standing."
"PIETRO!" A voice heard which gained Quicksilver's and Bakugo's attention. They both turned to see Scarlet Witch landing in front of them. "What are you doing?! We're supposed to neutralize them, not kill them?!"
"I'm doing what our father planned besides…" Quicksilver said. "He wants them out of the way. I'd make sure it's permanent."
Bakugo took a deep breath and turned to Quicksilver. "You know what? You are an annoying jackass." *BLAST*
"AGH!" Quicksilver screamed as he was blasted by Bakugo.
The battle took a brief stop as everyone turned towards where the blast took place. Toad, Avalanche, and Domino were shocked to see Quicksilver taken down. The X-Men and the remaining students were confused and wondered if three students were even mind controlled by the Brotherhood.
Avalanche was about to step forward and demand until he felt something cold. He looked down to see his ice. Avalanche was about to turn but saw Todoroki releasing a wall of flame heading towards him. The villain was knocked down by the flames as Todoroki turned towards Iceman who had a confusing look on his face. Todoroki then said to Iceman, "We'll explain why after this."
Toad saw Todoroki and was about to jump towards him. While in mid air, he noticed his body was glowing red. Toad turned to notice Scarlet Witch with her hand glowing and landed in the middle of the living room. Toad was struggling to move and then saw Dark Shadow swooping in for a claw attack that rendered him unconscious.
Scarlet Witch then turned towards Bakugo, "You were supposed to wait for my signal."
"Blame your jackass brother." Bakugo replied back.
Scarlet Witch saw Domino attempting to shoot Bakugo. She conjured a magical shield to deflect the shots. Scarlet Witch then released a chaos blast pushing Domino back a few feet. Domino realized everyone on her side was down. She looked at her surroundings realizing she's all by herself.
"Nobody is that lucky, darling." Wolverine said, smirking.
Domino looked around with her guns pointing to everyone surrounding her. She tried to figure a way out until she heard a voice behind her. "Dom, don't."
Domino turned around and pointed her gun at Rogue. She then moved closer to her and said. "We all choose sides, Rogue."
Rogue touched Domino in the cheek. The latter went down unconscious with the rest of the Brotherhood.
"Um… Was there history between you two?" Iida asked.
Nightcrawler spoke up. "Yes. Rogue was with the Brotherhood for a while. Her and Domino were great friends until Rogue left to join the X-Men."
Quicksilver stirred up and noticed the Brotherhood's been laid out. He was about to escape but turned and looked at Scarlet Witch.
"Wanda…" Quicksilver said as he looked at his sister.
"I'm sorry Pietro…" Scarlet Witch said. "I hope you and father forgive me someday."
Scarlet Witch then blasted her magic towards Quicksilver, launching him to a wall, knocking him out.
Everyone looked at the wreckage of the battle and the Brotherhood unconscious. They all suddenly heard someone groan and saw Emma Frost getting up.
"My nose!" Emma Frost groaned in pain while holding her nose. "I think Quicksilver broke my nose!"
Psylocke stirred up as well and noticed the Brotherhood down. "Damn it! I was hoping for action! I'm going to kick Quicksilver's ass."
"The white haired jackass is right here." Bakugo said as he pointed to an unconscious Quicksilver.
"Can someone explain to me what the hell just happened?" Wolverine asked everyone.
"I'll tell you what happened!" Bakugo exclaimed. "We just saved your ass!"
"It still doesn't explain why you three still attacked us." Rogue said. "You three took out Angel, Jubilee, and Colossus."
"W-Wait?! Why did you attack the X-Men?" Kirishima asked in confusion.
"It's part of her plan." Todoroki said as he pointed to Scarlet Witch.
"Whatever you guys did was all her plan?" X-23 asked.
Tokoyami nodded and explained "Yes. The plan was to pretend to be mind controlled while following through with Magneto's plan of attacking you. We waited until the right moment to turn on them. Her plan was also to relay the information to you so you'd be prepared for an attack."
"Wait a minute! You were the one who contacted Batman about the Brotherhood's impending attack on the mansion?" Beast asked Scarlet Witch..
"Yes." Scarlet Witch said. "Although getting through Avengers communications was difficult."
"Wanda, does your father know what about this?" Nightcrawler said in concern. "You know what happens if he finds out?"
"I know." Scarlet Witch simply said. "As well as the consequences that follow. I'll explain why later."
Wolverine said as he looked down on the Brotherhood. "Alright. For now, let's dump this trash at the corner and call the MRD on them. Pietro will like that."
Iceman then said. "Well then! Mission accomplished! We found the three missing students and-"
Scarlet Witch interrupting the X-Man. "It's not over yet… Apparently, this attack was only a diversion."
"A diversion?" Todoroki asked. "You mean attacking the X-Men isn't the only thing Magneto planned out?"
Scarlet Witch shook her head. "No, There's more to it."
"Guys, something is happening!"
Everyone looked at the door to see Forge by the door.
"You should see this." Forge said.
Shadowcat went at Forge's face. "And where the heck were you?!"
X-Mansion: Conference Room
"Reports coming in all across the country, where the MRD is under siege." The reporter said on TV. "At least 12 facilities have been destroyed in simultaneous attacks by what witnesses are calling a mutant army."
"Oh my god." Yaoyorozu said in shock as she and her classmates looked at the TV monitors.
"So it was a diversion. Magneto wanted us out of the way. So he could take down the MRD." Wolverine said.
"Wait, Magneto just took out the MRD." Iceman said in realization and turned to Wolverine. "Isn't that a good thing?"
"Yeah, but don't think for a second Kelly's gonna lay down for this." Wolverine said as he crossed his arms.
"Kelly?" Jiro wondered and asked. "Who's Kelly?"
"He was referring to Senator Robert Kelly." Emma Frost said. "A known detractor to mutants and the person who founded the MRD."
"There's an article I read about him." Midoriya said. "He's the person pushing for the Mutant Control Act against the mutants."
"Yes. If Kelly retaliates, then Magneto will get what he wants. War." Beast said.
"And thanks to the professor we know where that war leads." Storm said.
Uraraka then was curious about the mention of the war. "A war? Where does this war lead too?"
"I'm surprised the Professor didn't show you." Nightcrawler said. "You see. When the professor showed us where the war leads us to. It's not good. Almost everyone didn't survive."
"W-Wait! Everyone didn't survive?" Kirishima asked in surprise. "All the Heroes?"
"Heroes were either killed or captured to be executed." X-23 said. "Even some of the villains as well. Because the MRD developed robots that target mutants called the sentinels."
"Which was from the MRD's main project called Project Wideawake." Cyclops said.
Forge gained everyone's attention as he showed the view of the MRD Facility. "Wait, guys. Only the central facility hasn't been attacked yet."
"There has to be a reason why that hasn't been attacked yet." Iida said.
Scarlet Witch spoke up. "There is. I don't know much of the details but Mystique said there's a mutant in there that can cause a rampage in the city."
"Now you wanna get ready?" Wolverine asked Cyclops after the revelation.
X-Jet
The X-Jet was flying through the city with the X-Men fully seated in the vehicle while Angel, Jubilee, and Colossus were in the med bay back in the mansion. Scarlet Witch and the class 1-A students were in the back area. Scarlet Witch properly introduced herself to the other students as they responded back by their own introduction.
"So… your powers are chaos magic?" Midoriya asked curiously. "Like sorcerer magic?"
"Yes. I can create magic spells by saying or focusing." Scarlet Witch replied.
"So we are actually talking to a witch." Kirishima said. "Now, I've seen it all."
"I think the closest hero with that type of power is the pro hero Majestic." Yaoyorozu said. "His quirk was magic but it's different from yours."
"Heads up! Incoming!" Beast yells out as he sees an oncoming projectile.
Everyone looked out the X-Jet and saw the projectile looking like a meteor heading towards them. The X-Jet managed to evade the projectile. They then followed the projectile to a street within the city.
The Streets
*CRASH*
The projectile crashed as the X-Jet landed a good distance away from it. The ten class 1-A students, Scarlet Witch, the X-Men went towards where the projectile landed. As all of them reached to where the projectile crashed, they were surprised to see who was launched.
"Oh no." Scarlet Witch said as she saw the person who was the projectile.
Beast also saw the person and said. "This is not good."
Wolverine said as he looked on to the person. "Yeah… Juggernaut."
Everyone present looked at the crashed crater and saw the unconscious Juggernaut. Scarlet Witch and the X-Men were surprised to see Juggernaut lay out cold and began wondering what happened. The Class 1-A students were stunned but didn't really understand why the others were surprised until they heard Iceman.
"W-Wait?! Juggernaut?!" Iceman said in shock. "As in the unstoppable Juggernaut?!"
X-23 sniffed around and said. "Yeah. The same one."
"Wait, doesn't Juggernaut possess super strength, invulnerability, and is capable of lifting buildings?" Midoriya said. "I remember there was a file on him."
"Oui." Gambit said "Wolverine described him as the closest thing on Earth to an irresistible force."
"Now that's a manly power." Kirishima commented.
"What could do this to him?" Uraraka asked.
*ROAR!*
Everyone heard the sudden roar. All of them turned to a building which was the Central MRD Facility. The building was suddenly ripped apart as a giant red glowing monster appeared.
"I think we found our answer." Cyclops said.
The X-Men, Scarlet Witch, and the class 1-A students were ready to battle the giant red monster as it's going through a rampage in the city. Destroying MRD helicopters, cars and nearby buildings.
Wolverine turned to everyone and began planning. "Frost, go up in the Blackbird with Forge, Scarlet Witch, and Uravity and try to shut that thing down. Keep us in telepathic contact. Beast, Rogue, Shadowcat take Earphone Jack, Froppy, Ingenium, Tsukuyomi, Creati, and protect the crowds. The rest of you, you're with me."
"What are we going to do?" Iceman asked.
"Guess.*SNIKT!*" Wolverine said as he opened his claws.
Everyone went to their specific assignments as Wolverine's group went to battle the monster.
"Are you reading this thing, Frost?" Wolverine asked through telepathic communications.
"No, it's very odd." Emma Frost said as she tried to make contact. "It's as if there is static in its mind."
As the giant red monster walks through the city, Iceman and Cyclops are ice sliding around it. Cyclops blasts the monster to no effect. Iceman then tried to ice the legs but it was destroyed immediately. Iceman then saw Todoroki release an ice wall towards the red monster but it was destroyed immediately after. Todoroki along with Iceman and Cyclops made their attempts to stop the monster's movements.
Storm dropped Wolverine to the monster and stabbed in the chest. He was about to deliver another claw attack until he saw someone in the monster. Wolverine spotted a little girl in the monster and said. "It's just a kid!"
Wolverine looked at the kid but heard someone scream. "DETROIT SMASH!"
"Deku! Wait!" Wolverine said as he tried to stop him but it was too late.
Midoriya connected the smash to the monster's chest. However the monster wasn't phased by the attack and shot a red blast launching both Midoriya and Wolverine to a wall.
Wolverine and Midoriya slowly got up from the debris while hearing someone coming towards them.
"Logan!/Midoriya!"
Both of them turned to see Kirishima and Psylocke run by their side to check on them. Kirishima then saw a car flying towards them. Suddenly, Psylocke jumped into the car and sliced it in half, preventing it from hitting the others. Psylocke landed and went to Wolverine and Midoriya with Kirishima to see if the two were moving.
Wolverine was the first to respond "It's-It's a girl. It's a little girl up there."
The giant red monster appeared again going through a building as Bakugo and Gambit fired blasts and cards towards it. X-23 was at the body giving claw attacks only for her to get blasted out. Todoroki and Iceman tried to freeze its legs but it kept breaking while Cyclops tried to blast it. Storm flies around to find an opening but couldn't.
"A little girl?" Midoriya said as he struggled to get up.. "We have to do something! She's destroying the city!"
Emma Frost got everyone's attention. "I've broken through the static. The girl's name is Tildie. Juggernaut has placed a device on her, something that's causing her to lash out."
As Emma Frost explains about the giant red monster, Storm, Cyclops, Iceman, Todoroki, Bakugo, Gambit, and X-23 tried their best to slow the monster with attacks. Throughout the rampage, tons of debris were falling towards the civilians down below. Rogue, Shadowcat, Beast, Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Iida, Asui, and Tokoyami did their best to ensure civilians weren't injured during the monster rampage.
"She can't stop. You have to remove the device." Emma Frost said she saw a car coming towards the X-Jet. The car was then stopped as Scarlet Witch used her magic to stop it.
Suddenly Shadowcat ran past Wolverine and Midoriya. "I can get through!"
"Shadowcat, No!" Midoriya pleaded but it's no good.
"Hank! Ingenium! Stop her!" Wolverine screamed out.
Beast, Iida, Jiro, and Yaoyorozu just save a few civilians and saw Shadowcat running. Shadowcat phases through everyone and in pursuit of the red monster. Beast and Iida followed Shadowcat while Asui spotted them running to the monster and decided to follow them too.
Shadowcat ran through the debris while Beast, Iida, and Asui were behind her. Shadowcat reached its legs and began to jump. Once Shadowcat reached its legs, it deflected her back and launched towards Beast and Asui knocking them down. Iida ran towards the monster's leg and attempted a kick but was deflected and launched him to a wall.
Wolverine stood up and spotted Rogue. "Rogue… Get out of here. Find any backup! We'll try to hold it!"
Wolverine then left with Kirishima and Psylocke to go help the others. Midoriya was about to go until Rogue got his attention.
"Deku, wait!" Rogue said as she stopped Midoriya. "I have an idea."
As the giant red monster continues to walk down the street, Cyclops, Gambit, Todoroki, and Bakugo continue to blast it only to no effect. X-23 and Wolverine jump to one of its legs and stab it but suddenly both of them were blasted away. The monster then attempted to stomp the heroes on the ground. The heroes began to move until Iceman saw Rogue with Midoriya swinging towards the monster's chest.
Midoriya extended his hand out as Blackwhip energy reached the monster's chest which zipped him with Rogue holding onto him. Both of them went phased through the monster's chest.
"What is Midoriya doing?" Todoroki asked as he looked to see where Midoriya and Rogue were.
"Rogue must've absorbed Shadowcat's powers and asked Deku to help her get close to the girl." Wolverine explained.
"If that doesn't work, I'll blast that red monster to hell and save that girl!" Bakugo exclaimed.
"Whatever you say, bub." Wolverine said in annoyance.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!" Bakugo exclaimed at Wolverine.
While inside the monster, Rouge and Midoriya flew to where Tilde was projecting the monster. Both of them were in front of Tilde as she's in a different state. Midoriya found the device from the back of the girl's neck and grabbed it. He destroyed the device which brought Tilde back to her normal state.
Tilde suddenly realizes the predicament she's in and begs Rogue and Midoriya. "I-I can't stop. Please, please help me!"
Rogue removed her gloved hand and touched her head. "It's gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be alright."
As soon as Rogue touched Tilde's head, the red area started to glow in which gave a bright light and temporarily blinded everyone.
After the blind light, Tilde suddenly opened her eyes and saw Rogue and Midoriya. She also noticed she's on the streets and saw the other heroes surrounding her. "Wh-Who are you?"
Rogue looked to the others who were standing around them and then back to her. "We're the X-Men."
Genosha: Magneto's Palace
The crowd in attendance just cheered after Magneto gave an motivative speech in regards to showing no fear against humanity. Magento went to the room and saw Lorna, aka Polaris, giving him a nod of approval. He then heard Mystique coming through the door.
"Magneto, Pietro and the Brotherhood have been captured by the MRD." Mystique said.
Magneto sighed. "I see Pietro has failed me. What about Wanda?"
"Thankfully, she wasn't captured." Mystique said. "However, she hasn't reported back. I tried to contact her but no response."
Magneto stood there in silence and began to process in regards to his daughter. As soon as he started to figure something was up, Magneto began walking towards the door leaving Polaris in confusion and concern.
"Father, where are you going?" Polaris said in concern.
"I'm going to have a word with your sister." Magneto said as he left the room.
AN: The chapter is finished! Boy this took me a good amount of time to write. At least 70% was done before I left for vacation. By the time I got back, I was struggling to write as I had writer's block and jet lag. Thankfully this chapter got out.
I would like to say this is not the end of the X-Men arc. The arc ends in the next chapter. So in the next chapter. Magneto confronts Scarlet Witch which leads to the Master of Magnetism meeting the rest of the class 1-A students.
