Destroyed City
*BOOM*
An explosion erupted as Bakugo blasted out of the blast zone and into cover behind a ruined building. He then saw Todoroki ice slide his way to the opposite side of the building. Todoroki then put his left arm out to release a wall of fire. Both young heroes looked at the area past the flames and saw a few Sentinels.
"We need another way to take the Sentinels down! They seem to be tougher than I thought!" Todoroki shouted while in cover.
"I'm blowing that thing sky high!" Bakugo said. "I just need an opening!"
Bakugo looked to see if what he's looking at was there. He saw one sentinel was looking away. Bakugo moved away from cover and blasted his way towards the Sentinel's face. He opened his palm and blasted its face. Bakugo then noticed the Sentinel turned towards him and attempted to blast him with laser eyes. Bakugo dodged the laser and used an AP Shot to blast a hole in the Sentinel's face. By the time Bakugo was on the ground, he spotted a few more Sentinels and blasted his way towards them.
While Bakugo is dealing with the three Sentinels, Todoroki remained in cover but spotted another Sentinel looking at him. The Sentinel shoots a laser blast towards Todoroki but the latter evades the blast. Todoroki unleashed an ice wall towards the Sentinel, entrapping it. The Sentinel got free of the ice and spotted Todoroki releasing a super heated blast and screamed. "Flashfreeze Heatwave!"
The blast blew a hole in the Sentinel and fell down. Todoroki looked at the damaged Sentinel but suddenly felt the earth shaking. He looked at his surroundings and saw a couple of Sentinels landed. The two Sentinels spotted Todoroki and were about to fire lasers until they were destroyed by a red beam blast. Todoroki turned to see Cyclops running towards him.
"Don't let your guard down, Shoto." Cyclops said as he passed Todoroki. "Let's keep moving."
Both of them were about to move forwards but another Sentinel appeared through a ruined building. Cyclops and Todoroki were positioned to attack until they both saw Midoriya ran past them and jumped towards the Sentinel.
"Detroit Smash!"
The smash connected towards the Sentinel and went down on the ground. Midoriya landed on the ground and spotted another Sentinel. Midoriya was about to charge up full cowling until he noticed the Sentinel beginning to float. Midoriya looked at where the Sentinel was standing and spotted Uraraka. Midoriya heard laser fire and spotted a few Sentinels walking towards him. Midoriya charged up and dodged the laser fire.
Uraraka looked up at the floating Sentinel and noticed its head was starting towards her. Uraraka touched her fingers together and the Sentinel went down to the ground forcefully. Uraraka then saw an ice beam hitting the downed Sentinel, freezing it. She looked up and saw Iceman and Jiro,who released a powerful soundwave destroying a different Sentinel. Uraraka suddenly felt the ground shaking and saw a couple Sentinels firing missiles towards her.
Jiro unplugged her jacks and saw Uraraka dodging the missiles and ran into cover. Jiro then saw Iceman making an ice slide and began sliding down.
"Earphone Jack, let's move!" Iceman said as he slid down the ice slide.
Jiro followed Iceman down the slide and into cover. She spotted a couple Sentinels landing in front of her and Iceman. Jiro rushed forward while her jacks plugged to gauntlet amplifiers and slammed them to the ground. The amplifiers channeled a powerful soundwave that shattered the ground making the Sentinels fall down.
As the Sentinels fell down, Asui hopped around the downed Sentinels and reached towards one Sentinel who was walking. She then jumped to the Sentinels side and began to crawl its body. Asui noticed the Sentinel stopped moving and began searching. She turned invisible and continued to crawl towards its chest. Asui then spotted the power source but saw a hand coming towards her. Asui jumped to the hand and then jumped towards the power source chest and kicked it, destroying it.
Tokoyami and Iida passed by the downed Sentinel and moved forward towards an open area in the ruins. Both of them spotted a Sentinel looking in their direction and were about to fire their lasers towards the two heroes. Iida evaded the laser shot as he ran around the Sentinel. The Sentinel continues to fire at Iida until it sees Dark Shadow claw attack its face destroying it.
With the Sentinel destroyed, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, and Shadowcat run past it and continue through the ruined city. By the time they reached a ruined street, the three heroes were met by a Sentinel walking past a building. The Sentinel spotted them and began to fire lasers. All three went into separate covers as the lasers continued to fire.
Yaoyorozu looked out and saw something before going back into cover. "I see our destination! It's past that Sentinel!"
Shadowcat looked at where the destination was and then looked at Yaoyorozu. "Okay, here's the plan. You and Red Riot distract the Sentinel while I go to the destination and plant the device."
"Do you have the device?" Yaoyorozu asked.
Shadowcat grabbed the device from her back and showed it to Yaoyorozu. Yaoyorozu nodded and looked at Kirishima in which he nodded back. Yaoyorozu then looked at the Sentinel. "Get ready…NOW!"
Yaoyorozu and Kirishima went off in different directions as Shadowcat phase through cover and proceeded towards the destination. The Sentinel began to fire lasers at both Kirishima and Yaoyorozu. Yaoyorozu evaded a few laser shots as she went to a different cover. While the Sentinel was firing lasers at Yaoyorozu's direction, Kirishima hardened up his quirk and attacked the Sentinel's foot. The Sentinel began to stumble and suddenly saw Yaoyorozu with a cannon. She fired a cannon blasting the Sentinel.
Shadowcat was running as she saw Yaoyorozu and Kirishima handled the Sentinel. She phased through the debris as the destination was in front of her. Suddenly a Sentinel landed in front of Shadowcat which stopped her. The Sentinel was about to fire until Midoriya flew in delivering a shoot style kick. Shadowcat continued running towards the destination. Once Shadowcat reached it, she placed the device on the ground and pressed the button.
Once the button was pressed, the Sentinels in the ruined city began to stop moving.
*BEEEEEEP*
"Did we do it?" Midroiya asked as he looked at the Sentinels not moving.
Suddenly a voice began speaking within the ruined city.
"All of you managed to pass the Sentinels and the device made its destination." Beast said through the speaker. "Good job, everyone! Meet me in the hallways for an evaluation. End simulation."
"DANGER ROOM SIMULATION COMPLETE." The Computer voice said as the room began to transform back into the Danger Room.
X-Mansion: Sublevels Hallway
"I gotta say. All of you did well in completing that Danger Room Simulation." Cyclops said as everyone exited out of the Danger Room.
"Man! All of you did awesome!" Iceman exclaimed. "You all crushed it!"
"Agreed. Thank you for allowing us to use the Danger Room for training." Yaoyorozu said in gratitude.
"The Danger Room is so manly!" Kirishima said, excitingly. "I wish UA had one of those for our hero course training."
"I agree with Kirishima!" Iida said while motioning chops. "This Danger Room would be beneficial to making our hero training more acceptable!"
Iceman looked at Iida for a good moment. "I never thought in my life I'd find a high school student doing chops amusing."
"Yeah, Logan's right. I'm never getting used to that." Shadowcat said in amusement.
"Me either." Beast said in amusement. "Although I have a question. You mention your academy UA doesn't have what the Danger Room has. What do you students use for hero training?"
"Well, UA uses different training grounds like Ground Beta, Omega, and Gamma. We also have USJ or the Unforeseen Simulation Joint for disaster rescue training." Yaoyorozu said.
"Interesting…" Beast said. "I'm interested to see how your academy works. Hopefully your vibration frequency data tracker finds your universe."
"You know about the vibration data tracker?" Todoroki asked.
"Of course! Mr. Stark mentioned to you he contacted a couple of colleagues to help him find your universe. I'm one of them." Beast said.
The students were surprised to hear Beast being one of the people helping Iron Man in getting them back into their universe.
Suddenly Kirishima went up to Beast. "Tell us some good news! Or something in regards to our universe?!"
"It's still tracking. Mr. Stark informed me." Beast said as he calmed down Kirishima. "It'll take some time."
The rest of Class 1-A students sighed in relief on the news knowing they're still working on finding their universe.
"Alright then, I'd say class dismiss." Cyclops said. "In the meantime, hang around in the mansion. I'm sure we have things to entertain you."
The ten class 1-A students nodded as they all went off on their personal free time around the X-Mansion.
X Mansion: Kitchen
"So your father tried to imprison you?" Storm asked as she took a drink.
"Yes." Scarlet Witch nodded as she drank her tea. "I tried to convince him many times to stop doing things leading to a war against humanity but he refused to listen. Our last conversation was the final straw for him and threatened me with imprisonment."
Psylocke finished eating a sandwich and asked. "So with that threat from Magneto, you came up with a plan to foil one of his schemes. Impressive although Colossus, Angel, and Jubilee were injured. Even still, Are you prepared for the consequences when Magneto finds you?"
Scarlet Witch nodded as she noticed Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, and Iida coming through the kitchen.
"So how's the Danger Room?" Psylocke asked the four students while continuing eating her food.
"The Danger Room is so cool!" Midoriya exclaimed excitedly. "Again, thank you for allowing us to use it for training!"
"You're very welcome." Storm said. "Consider yourselves lucky because we never had anyone else training in the Danger Room."
Iida suddenly raised his hand. "I just have a question! How did you exactly make the Danger Room?"
Beast came through the kitchen and said. "Pardon my sudden entrance. I'll answer it, Mr. Iida. The Danger Room we use now has advanced holographic technology and a tactical computer matrix. Thus creating an immersive interactive artificial environment, simulating various situations we might encounter during missions."
"How did you get the technology for it?" Yaoyorozu asked. "It felt so real."
"We acquired the technology after befriending an intergalactic empire called the Shi'ar." Storm explained.
"An intergalactic empire?" Midoriya wondered. "You went to space?!"
Storm nodded. "Yes we did. We helped their leader Princess Lilandra defeat a corrupt Shi'ar ruler who used a powerful crystal in an attempt to take over the universe. In turn for helping the Shi'ar, they gave us their technology to upgrade the Danger Room."
"Amazing! Since you mentioned the Shi'ar, I'm always interested in the concept of space." Yaoyorozu said in amazement. "I would like to see if there's anything out there. In our universe, astrologists were working on finding any life outside of earth but can't find anything."
Wolverine then spoke as he walked towards the refrigerator. "You kids have already met Thor. So you'll encounter life outside of earth sooner than you think."
"Wolverine's right." Psylocke said was about to eat another sandwich. "You're going to be flabbergasted at the species found outside of earth."
Midoriya, Iida, and Yaoyorozu felt excited as the possibility of meeting beings outside of earth could happen sooner rather than later. The three students suddenly heard noises coming from the refrigerator.
Wolverine spoke up as he was looking for something in the fridge. "Where's that blasted salami?! I can smell it."
"Um…What is Wolverine doing?" Kirishima asked as he entered the kitchen.
"Ah! All it needs is slicing. *SNIKT!*" Wolverine said as he grabbed the salami and sliced it with his claws, dropping it on his sandwich.
Cyclops walked past by Wolverine and said. "While you're at it, fix one up for me."
'He was making a sandwich?' The four students thought with sweat appearing on their heads as Wolverine continued to make his sandwich.
X-Mansion: Hallways
"So you can only use ice on your right side?" Iceman asked as he leaned back against a wall.
"Yes." Todoroki said as began explaining. "As I said before, my quirk is half-cold half-hot. I can only use ice on my right side and fire on my left side. Both of my powers came from my parents. Hellflame from my father and Frost from my mother."
"Damn, I wish someone here in our universe has your power." Iceman said. "Also. Hellflame is such a cool power name. I might convince Johnny to use that name."
"Johnny?" Todoroki asked. "Who's Johnny?"
"Johnny Storm. The Human Torch. Member of the Fantastic Four." Iceman said. "I'm sure you and your classmates have heard of the Fantastic Four?"
"We heard about them through Spider-Man but never really met them." Todoroki simply explained.
"Oh man! Wait until you and your classmates meet them!" Iceman laughed. "Great people. Also when you and the others go back to New York, tell Spidey I said hi. Anyways, I'll catch you later."
As soon as Iceman left, Todoroki was about to go somewhere until someone spoke behind him.
"Shoto."
Todoroki looked, with curiosity and confusion, at Scarlet Witch. "Um…Yes?"
Scarlet Witch was hesitant to speak but spoke anyway. "I…saw something concerning in your head, while doing the mind control spell on you. It's about your parents. From your father and the scar from your mother."
Todoroki stood there in silence feeling a little tense that someone other than a very select few people knows about his childhood.
Scarlet Witch thought it was a bad time to bring it up as she noticed Todoroki's reaction. "I'm…I'm sorry. I just thought maybe you still have a grudge or hatred towards them and… I'll leave you be."
Todoroki interrupted Scarlet Witch. "Even though it looked bad when you saw what they did, I'm not blinded by hatred towards either of them. I still love my mother and have reconciled with her. As for my father, I won't forgive him and I still have some issues in regards to what he had done but I still respect him as a hero."
"I…see." Scarlet Witch said in understandment. "I was bothered by that image and I want to see if you're mentally okay."
"I'll be fine. Thank you for your concern." Todoroki said as he was about to leave but stopped for a second and asked Scarlet Witch because he noticed her emotion. "Are you still nervous about your father?"
Scarlet Witch sighed. "A little. Even though I'm willing to face the consequences, what's next for me after all this?"
"You mentioned something before like fighting for a good cause." Todoroki said. "How about joining a superhero team like the X-Men? Their cause is something to fight for."
"I have some time to think about that." Scarlet Witch said. "The X-Men's cause has done some good for the mutant kind. However, after seeing your's, Bakugo's, and Tokoyami's mind I feel like I might do more than help the mutant kind."
Todoroki looked at Scarlet Witch with approval as he began to walk away. "You choose what you want to do. Do something that's beneficial for you."
Scarlet Witch looks at Todoroki as he walks away. There are many things going on in her head like her father and what Todoroki just said. The one thing Scarlet Witch wonders what she's going to do from this point on.
X-Mansion: Front Yard: Midday
While walking around the large front yard, Shadowcat and Rogue were walking with Uraraka and Asui having fun conversations. The two UA students then went into full detail about their quirks in which both X-Men members were interested. There was one part about Uraraka's quirk that Shadowcat wanted to ask.
"So when you use your quirk too much, you will vomit?" Shadowcat asked as she was walking.
"Yes. I get pretty nauseous." Uraraka explained while walking. "Oddly, Ever since I came here in this universe, I haven't done that."
"It's either you have gotten used to it or you haven't pushed your quirk to the limit." Rogue said.
"I think Rogue's right, Ochako. *Ribbit*" Asui agreed with Rogue. "I've never seen you get sick since we all arrived here.
The four female heroes continued to go on a walk as they noticed Jiro sitting on the bench listening to her Mp3 player.
"Jiro really loves that music player." Rogue said. "I wonder what artists she is playing."
"Since Kyoka likes rock music." Uraraka said. "J.A.R.V.I.S. and Iron Man put together this universe's best rock music in the music player."
"She's listening to some bangers to anyone who likes those types of music." Shadowcat said as she continued to walk with the other three ladies. "Kyoka should meet Dazzler! Although her genre is techno, she's amazing and also a mutant who has the ability to transduce sonic vibrations which reach her body into various types of light."
The four female heroes continued their conversation while passing Bakugo who was on the mansion steps.
Bakugo was sitting on the steps drinking his soda minding his business. He then noticed a big metal orb slowly descending near the front gate. Bakugo turned towards the inside of the mansion and yelled. "Hey morons! There's a big metal ball near the front gate!"
Scarlet Witch rushed outside and felt shocked once she saw the metal orb. "Oh no…"
Todoroki was the first outside and spotted the metal orb. "Is that your father, Magneto?"
*BAMF* Nightcrawler appeared next to Todoroki. "Yes, It looks like he's alone. Odd?"
The metal orb opened and Magneto floated out of it. He stood in front of the gate as it opened by itself. Magneto then landed in front of the fountain and noticed the X-Men and the ten Class 1-A students in front of the door.
Wolverine walked past the X-Men and the class 1-A students and stood a good distance away from Magneto. "Is there a reason why you're here on our property, bub?"
"I'm here because I wish to speak to my daughter, Wolverine." Magneto replied back.
Scarlet Witch suddenly appeared past the heroes and stood a foot away from Magneto. "Father."
Magneto looked at his daughter. "Wanda… I figured you'd be here."
"Why are you here, Magneto?" Scarlet Witch asked.
Magneto sighed as he explained to his daughter. "I know what you did. Not mind controlling three captured children and teaming with the X-Men which led to your brother being arrested by the MRD. I came here to ask you this question. Why?"
"You tried to imprison me." Scarlet Witch said. "I did what I had to do."
"But I didn't imprison you. I gave you one last chance to prove yourself by following the plan and this is how you repay my debt after I saved you!" Magneto exclaimed angrily.
"I consider my debt repaid after you threaten to imprison me." Scarlet Witch explained. "I've told you numerous times about avoiding this war. Now attacking the MRD, you've forced humanity to go to war against the mutants."
"I already told you before that it's benefiting our side in this war." Magneto said. "Even though you and the others stopped the little girl rampaging the city, it still proved fruitless. Senator Kelly has already declared war against the mutant race."
"Which means you got what you wanted." Wolverine spoke up.
"I did not ask for your opinion, Wolverine." Magneto said while glaring at the mutant avenger. He later turned to Scarlet Witch. "Since you are here Wanda, I would ask you this. Come with me and no one from the children and the X-Men will be harmed."
"No." Scarlet Witch said without hesitating. "I've already made up my mind. I'm not going back with you."
Magneto sighed as his daughter refused. "I never thought it would come to this. Wanda, you've been by my side for too long and you decided to abandon now. Then you left me no other choice."
Suddenly two metal bars broke out of the ground and wrapped around Scarlet Witch. Wolverine was about to move but was stopped in his tracks. Metal pieces suddenly appeared from the ground and began wrapping around Wolverine leaving him immobilized for the moment. Magneto raised his hand up and metal bars from the ground formed into a cage surrounding Wolverine and Scarlet Witch.
"Time for some action! All of you stay back!" Bakugo said as he's in a battle ready stance. "I'm blowing that magnetic geezer to hell!"
"Dynamight, wait!" Cyclops screamed.
"Kacchan, no!" Midoriya pleaded.
Bakugo ignored the two and blasted his way towards Magneto. By the time Bakugo reaches Magneto, he puts out his palm and screams. "DIE!"
Suddenly, Bakugo's palm stopped near Magneto's face. Bakugo then felt like he's frozen in place and was struggling to move.
"It is disrespectful to call rude names to your elders, young man." Magneto said as he had his palm out. "If you ask why you can't move, it is because my power is to manipulate and generate magnetic fields. Meaning I can control any metal in which your costume has."
When Magneto finished his sentence, Bakugo saw his grenade gauntlets being removed forcefully from his arms. After his gauntlets were removed, Magneto forcefully pushed Bakugo into the still-damaged living room of the X-Mansion.
"Man! Bakugo was taken out so quickly!" Kirishima said shockingly.
"Of course. Just to let you know, Magneto's power is to control magnetism." Cyclops said as he's in a battle ready stance. "Like manipulating metal. He is using the metal parts we installed in the front yard for defensive purposes."
"Right! I remember there's a file I read about him about his powers." Midoriya as he's observing Magneto. "Magneto is like Wolfram from I-Island! His quirk was to control pre-existing metallic material by physical contact. He may have touched something with metal that led to the attacks."
"Interesting observation, Midoriya. Although I notice the difference between the two individuals you mentioned." Beast explained. "Magneto can control over all forms of magnetism and utilizes that control to manipulate any metal without any physical contact. The man can change the magnetic poles. Thankfully, he hasn't done that."
The nine class 1-A students were shocked at Beast's revelation. While the rest of the X-Men, except Beast, Psylocke, and Emma Frost, charged towards Magneto.
"So…Magneto doesn't need physical contact to manipulate metal?" Todoroki asked again to be clear.
"Yes." Psylocke confirmed as she explained. "Since Dynamight's costume had some form of metal in it, Magneto can control it and use it against him."
The nine class 1-A students then turned to Magneto with nervous expressions as they realized this villain fight might be their toughest one yet. They all then notice the rest of the X-Men were battling but it looks like they're losing.
Magneto puts up a force field deflecting Cyclops' optic blast. He then saw X-23 lunging towards him but held his hand up stopping her. Magneto then sends X-23 into Storm, knocking them down. He then spotted Nightcrawler teleporting his way to him. Magneto raised his other hand and metal debris levitated near him. He threw the metal debris towards Nightcrawler. The latter teleported out of the way.
"What are we going to do?" Uraraka asked as she reluctantly was in a battle ready position. "Some of us have some metal in our costumes."
"Our best chance is to remove his helmet." Psylocke said as she got her sword out. "Once his helmet is removed, Emma Frost can get into his head and immobilize him. If it doesn't work, tire him out. Be careful."
As the battle goes on, Magneto took down Rogue, Shadowcat, and Cyclops. Gambit evaded debris but was hit by another one. Magneto looked around to see some of the X-Men unconscious but suddenly felt an ice hit him. He turned around to see Iceman sliding around. Iceman fired more beams at Magneto but it was blocked by a force field. Magneto then launched metal debris at Iceman's slide, losing Iceman's balance and landing on the ground.
Magneto looked around to some of the X-Men members laid out then suddenly saw an ice glacier coming towards him. He moved away from the glacier and spotted Todoroki along with the eight other Class 1-A students beside him, readying for a battle.
"It seems, to some of you, we finally met for the first time." Magneto said as he looked at the class 1-A students present. "I've heard much about your powers or I should say…quirks."
The nine students were shocked to hear Magneto knowing about quirks but ignored it. Todoroki releases a wall of flame towards Magneto only for the latter to dodge it. Magneto then had a bunch of metal debris floating over him. The metal debris was launched towards them which Todoroki and the rest of the class 1-A students moved out of the way.
Magneto looked around to find where the class 1-A students went. He suddenly felt a soundwave coming through him and saw Jiro with her amplifiers out. While trying to withstand the soundwaves, Magneto raised his arm up and launched a metal boulder towards Jiro. Jiro avoided the metal boulder but was hit by another metal boulder, launching her a few feet away.
As Magneto stood up, he saw Dark Shadow coming towards him for an attack. Magneto blocks the attack with a force field and takes a step back. Suddenly he felt a tongue wrap around his helmet and was yanked off leaving his head exposed. Magneto looked up to see Asui with his helmet. He was about to do something until he felt a sudden attack in his mind.
Magneto falls to his knees and clutching his head. He suddenly saw Emma Frost next to Tokoyami and Asui with Beast and Pyslocke running towards them. As his mind was attacked, Magneto flicked his finger which forced a metal trapped Wolverine to be pulled from his metal cage and hit Beast, Psylocke, Emma Frost, Asui, and Tokoyami taking them out.
Magneto stood up from Emma Frost's attack and was about to reach his helmet but was shoulder blocked by Kirishima. Magneto recovered but noticed Kirishima was close to an attack. The villain evades the attack and sees another one coming and dodges that too. Magneto dodged another attack and gave Kirishima a kick, pushing him back. Magneto raised his hands, summoning metal pillars from the ground and surrounding Kirishima. Kirishima punched back a couple of the metal pillars but got consumed and trapped him into a metal ball.
After dealing with Kirishima, Magneto suddenly felt a rush of wind and felt a kick. He stumbled back and spotted Iida running around him. Magneto put his hand up and stopped Iida. Iida looked down to see his legs hadn't moved. He was suddenly thrown into the front gate and was wrapped in metal bars immobilized. Magneto looked at the front yard but suddenly felt something's coming.
Midroiya flies in delivering a shoot style kick but suddenly stops near Magneto's face. Magneto then looked at Midoriya and said. "I will applaud you for your bravery to fight me. However, I sensed your costume contains metal. How foolish." *CRUSH*
As soon as Magneto finished his sentence, Midoriya screamed in pain as his legs and arms were being crushed by the metal gauntlets and boots he had. Suddenly, Magneto was suddenly hit by a fireball thus letting Midoriya go. He turned to Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, and Todoroki readying for a battle.
Magneto turned his attention to the three and floated in the air. He gathered some of the metal shards and began launching them towards three heroes. All three avoided the majority of the metal shards. Uraraka ducked down as she avoided the projectiles but heard something else.
"AGH!"
Uraraka turned to where the voice was and was shocked in horror. She saw Todoroki being stabbed by a metal shard in his stomach. Midoriya and Yaoyorozu were also shocked to see their classmate and friend wounded as well.
"NO! TODOROKI!" Midoriya screamed as he watched his classmate getting stabbed while being in pain himself.
Uraraka rushed to Todoroki, holding him until he's laid down on the ground. Nightcrawler reappears next to Todoroki to check to see if he's alive. Yaoyorozu rushed to Todoroki's other side while creating bandages and medical equipment in the process.
"He's still alive." Nightcrawler said as he checked on Todoroki. "We don't know how long though."
As Magneto looked on as the other heroes tended to Todoroki, he suddenly felt an energy blast which launched him a good distance. Magneto stood up to see who blasted but saw someone else. He saw his daughter Scarlet Witch standing in front of him. Magneto also notices tears coming down from her cheek and anger consuming her.
Scarlet Witch released a chaos magic blast towards her father. Magneto stumbled back and summoned metal pillars but Scarlet Witch stopped them and continued blasting him. Magneto went down on the ground and saw his daughter with her hand chaos magic ready.
"W…Wanda." Magneto said as he looked at his daughter noticing she did say anything back and was about to deliver the final blow.
Suddenly, Scarlet Witch saw a hand grabbing her arm which stopped the spell. She turned to see Bakugo holding her arm. Scarlet Witch felt confused as to why Bakugo stopped her. She was about to say something until Bakugo interrupted her.
"He's not worth it." Bakugo simply said as he let go of Scarlet Witch's arm.
Scarlet Witch looked down on Magneto and walked away. She went to where Yaoyorozu and Uraraka were attempting to patch up Todoroki. Scarlet Witch looked at the wounded student with guilt and sadness. Knowing he's still alive but not much longer with the shard on his stomach, Scarlet Witch was about to conjure a spell but saw something unexpected even for her.
Todoroki began screaming pain as the metal shard on his stomach started to move. The metal shard was out of Todoroki's stomach. Yaoyorozu quickly patches Todoroki and puts the knockout sedative in his shoulder. Todoroki then drifted into unconsciousness. Yaoyorozu and Uraraka were confused but an unexpected voice spoke up.
Magneto puts his helmet on and drops the metal shard while looking at the heroes near the unconscious Todoroki. "He should be fine. The wound is not too deep."
"Why?" Nightcrawler asked in shock. "Why save him all of a sudden, Magneto?"
Magneto ignored Nightcrawler's question and looked at Scarlet Witch. "I'm not going after you anymore, Wanda. I've seen enough. However, I will inform you of this since you betrayed me…"
"Father." Scarlet Witch looked at her father with sadness.
"You are no longer welcomed in Genosha and declared exiled." Magneto said sadly. "You are now branded a traitor and enemy of the country. Set foot on the island, you'll be arrested and imprisoned…I wish you well."
Magneto then turned towards the metal orb with a tear coming down his eye. After he went into the metal orb and flew off, Scarlet Witch went down on her knees in tears. She knew something like this was going to happen but it still hurts her deeply.
Aftermath of the Battle: X-Mansion Front Yard
Midoriya was being helped up by Wolverine and began to walk to where Scarlet Witch was with concern. By the time they reached Scarlet Witch he asked. "Ms. Maximoff… Are you okay?"
Scarlet Witch was on her knees for a full minute before slowly getting up. As she got up, Scarlet Witch began speaking. "I'll…I'll be okay. I…think I know what to do."
"What are you going to do?" Midoriya asked as he saw Scarlet Witch stand up.
"...I'm doing something that's beneficial for me." Scarlet Witch said as she took a deep breath and turned to the unconscious Todoroki. "...Going on a path to become a hero. Like how you and the other students are striving to become in your universe."
Cyclops overheard Scarlet Witch and spoke up. "If you want, we can help you become a hero. There's membership for you here with the X-Men."
"Maybe…but I want to do more than just help the mutant kind. A hero to everyone, mutants and non mutants. No offense." Scarlet Witch explained to Cyclops.
"None taken. We understand." Cyclops replied and nodded back.
"How about joining a different team?" Wolverine asked. "The one I'm in, not the X-Men."
"...The Avengers?" Scarlet Witch wondered. "Why?"
"I think your values are more aligned with theirs." Wolverine said. "The offer stands, if you want it."
Scarlet Witch looked at Wolverine. "... I'll think about it. Thank you, Wolverine."
Scarlet Witch walked a good distance away from the students and heroes. "I hope to see you all again soon."
Scarlet Witch then conjures up a magic spell that teleports her away from the X-Mansion.
"Do you think we're going to see her again?" Uraraka asked.
"Yeah, but for now let her do her own thing." Wolverine said as he began to help Midoriya back to the other X-Men but stopped as he heard Bakugo.
"What about Magneto?" Bakugo asked as he looked out in the distance. "The magnetic bastard beat all of us easily except his own kid. He nearly killed Icy Hot. But why did he save him?"
Wolverine thought about it and answered. "Leave him be. As for saving Shoto, he has his reasons. I guess killing a kid is a line he'll never cross."
"Fine… When I fight Magneto again, I'm going to beat him." Bakugo declared as he began walking back to the mansion.
Wolverine smirked as he and the rest of the class 1-A students regroup with the others to tend the injuries and recover from an eventful and chaotic day.
AN: The chapter and this arc are finished. I will say that the X-Men will return in this story. Scarlet Witch will also return in this story but it's going to take some time with her to come back.
Yeah, Magneto beat everyone except Scarlet Witch. I've done some extensive research into how this battle will go down. Magneto is just that powerful. The part where Magneto nearly killed Todoroki was inspired by Magneto almost killing Kitty Pryde in the comics.
Since it's almost the holidays, this will be the last chapter I'm posting until the new year. So the new chapter will be posted next year. If you want to know what's going to happen in the next chapter, let's say the class 1-A students meet Marvel's first family.
