Brock asked, "Are you sure you want to train by yourself, Ash?"
Ash nodded, "Yeah, just for a bit. I've got to go train on my own. And this is a good time to help my team a little in my own way."
Misty sighed, "Alright, just don't get yourself killed over who knows what given your luck."
Ash called, running off, "Don't worry, it'll be fine, I'll see you in a bit!"
Oak requested, poking his head out of the doorway, "Hey Brock, do you think you can help me here?"
Brock nodded, "Of course, and I had a few questions I'd like to ask."
"I have no issues answering any that you have." Brock followed after the elderly professor.
Misty sighed, unsure of what to, "Guess I'll finda place to fish... would you like to help me with that, Togepi?" With a trill from the baby, she took off.
As Ash rushed off, Mewtwo's voice echoes in his head, 'I take it your plans isn't JUST to help try teach your Pokémon some things?'
Mew replied, 'Yep, his powers are too dangerous to handle without proper training. He has to learn how to utilize his accessible moves presently.'
Ash finally asked, "I was wondering, why is it that Pokémon only use four moves normally?" While sending his Pokémon out.
'I was wondering that myself too.'
Mew replied, her age in knowledge showing, 'That's easy, energy utilization. Most Pokémon can't manipulate their natural energy beyond four moves at any time. Us Mew are some of the few capable of disregarding that rule, mostly anyway.'
Shapeshifting back to his Mew form, he called, "Alright, guys, let's train!"
Bulbasaur spoke, "You do that, I'll get a hold of our teammates." As he trudged off.
Charizard shrugged, lazing about, "Meh, no need."
The blue Mew complained, "Charizard! You have to train! Help get stronger!"
"Nah."
"I'll deal with him when I get back." Came Bulbasaur before disappearing into the brush.
Charizard remained laying down, "Whatever."
Pikachu sighed, "Let's just get you use to your abilities and figure out what to do for us."
Pidgeotto whispered to Squirtle, "So, Ash is a Mew now..."
Squirtle snickered quietly, as Ash turned into a forest green with reflective sheen. "I know, imagine all the fun we'd have."
Pidgeotto sighed, "Of course you'd say that."
Just within Oak's corral, in an excluded area, Mewtwo was now meditating, his psychic energy rotating around him. He was so deep in focus that he didn't even notice Pikatwo at first.
"Father."
"... hm?" Originally, he had tried to stop his Starter-Clones from calling him that. But after a while, he got use to how they refer to him.
"A couple of us wanted your permission about something."
Mewtwo tilted his head with perplexity, the psychic energy fading, "Go on..."
After Bulbasaur returned, several battle-eager Tauros, Muk (who had Body Slammed Ash into a hug), Krabby, Beedrill, a Clefairy. Bulbasaur finally stated, "Alright, Beedrill, I need you to help me convincing our lazing idiot of a lizard."
Beedrill saluted, "Of course sir!"
Bulbasaur nodded, as one of the Tauros asked, "Do you need back up, considering that he's...?"
Bulbasaur nodded, "Sure, that may be needed." As the trio approached the Flame Pokémon.
Ash spoke, having successfully gotten away from Muk, "I want us to better the moves we have, once we have, we'll work on gaining more moves."
One of the other four Tauros commented, "Can't we learn something new? We've gotten our moves as best as we could get it."
Ash tilted his head, "Really? I thought you guys just stampede because that's what you all did before I caught you?"
The Tauros on the right, one with numerous scars, "Yeah, we do stampede normally, but, while our fellow Tauros may not be into battle like us. they have helped us, a change of technique could do for some of us."
Ash blinked in astonishment, as Mew sounded, 'Yup, I can confirm. Herds tend to help each other with whatever they wish.'
Ash nodded, "Alright! Is it fine if I learn how to handle what I presently know? I'll help teach you guys how to use some new moves."
Satisfied, the Tauros broke away, a decent distance away, Mew commented, 'I noticed in your memories that Clefairy knows Metronome by looking at your memories, you are able to use it as well.'
'Really? Alright!' He turned to the small, star-shaped fairy, "Hey Clefairy. Can you come over here?"
Clefairy walked meekly towards Ash, "Y-yes...?"
"You still remember Metronome, right?"
"Yeah..."
"Do you think you could show me?"
Pikachu's ears shot up in horror, as Squirtle blanched, the turtle asking, "Ash, you sure about that?"
Pikachu protested, "NO! Absolutely not! You remember what happened with that ninja guy's Weezing, right, Clefairy hospitalized both herself and Weezing with the burn injuries with that weird light move that was used BECAUSE of Metronome!"
Clefairy shrunk down (quite literally) at Pikachu's action. Ash argued, "C'mon, I've got to use it eventually, it's apart of my skill set."
"It could kill you!"
Ash didn't listen, As he begun waving his finger similarly to what the various Clefairy he's seen do, generating energy into them,"Is it like this?"
"NO!"
"Welp..." Squirtle seemed accepting of this. "It was nice knowing ya, Chu. I'm glad I got to try that Slowbro's sake. he was slow in brewing it, but he was good at..."
Pikachu looked at Squirtle in baffled frustration, "Are you for fucking real!?"
Muk asked, "Maybe it won't be so bad? I don't see the problem here."
Ash waved his finger one last time, as he froze, an dark energy crackling in his paws, as the wind was sucked into it, Ash yelled, "What is this!?"
'Oh shit.'
'What!?'
'That's a move I saw a Darkrai try using it on me about a hundred years ago in a distant region... Torren, I think it was called. The move severely injured me.'
Ash screamed, "Oh no! I don't know what to do with it!
"Why don't your disperse it?" Squirtle suggested
Pikachu argued, "Squirtle! He's never used that thing at all!"
"Oh..."
"Clefairy! Any ideas!?" Clefairy stared blankly for a minute, before shrinking once more.
Muk suggested, "Maybe he could set it down?"
Mew screamed in his ear, 'NO! If that move injured me greatly, it'll kill you! Just throw the damn thing!'
"But I don't want to injure anyone else!"
Squirtle started screaming, followed by Mew, Muk, Pikachu and Ash in that order, as the blast continued charging with dark energy.
"Private! Why aren't you keeping in shape for the commander!? What IS wrong with you!?" Beedrill screamed(?) at Charizard like a drill sergeant.
"Don't care."
"You know, I'm surprise he's acting like this. It's like a flip from that cheerful, little fire lizard. Was that a good day, or was he always like this?"
Pidgeotto commented vaguely to the Tauros Leader, "You have no idea how bad he's gotten since evolving..."
"C'mon, Charizard. What if there's someone that bests you in combat?" Bulbasaur 'pleaded' with the stubborn salamander.
"There isn't."
"Private! What is your major malfunction!? Complacency will lead to weakening strength!" Beedrill stated, his voice still somewhat booming.
"There's no one that can beat me here."
An idea popped into his mind, "Back it up a bit. Can you back that claim up?"
Charizard opened his eye at the frog, "What do you mean?"
Bulbasaur smirked, noting the sun shining brightly above him. "I mean, how can you back it up. Prove it to me."
"But I am, you saw what I did to that magma thing."
I saw no such thing, I wasn't present that day. How do I know it wasn't a fluke?" He gave a taunting smile, calling out the non-dragon.
"But I did!" Charizard retorted, irritation at defending his feat.
"Alright. Who present here has seen Charizard best any challenges." Neither the Tauros, nor the Beedrill spoke up. Pidgeotto didn't state anything, despite Charizard's stares at her.
"Prove your strength, by besting me in a battle." He gave a serious stare.
Charizard scoffed, "And why would I do that?"
Bulbasaur explained, "I'll take back my statements if you prove your better than me."
Charizard asked, mocking the Grass-Type, "And if I don't agree?"
"Well I guess Damien was right about you."
Delia was relaxing, cooking up a meal for her son's dinner, as the phone begun to rang. Before heading towards it, she thought about Ash, she could tell Ash was hiding something, but she couldn't tell what it was.
Taking it she spoke, "Hello, Ketchum resident."
After a couple of muffled voices, she gained a gleamed, "Your on break! That's lovely! Will you be here soon?"
After a minute, she cheered, "Alright, I'll see you tonight dear." Hanging up, she cheered, "This calls for a celebration! I'll fix up Ash and Cinder's favorite meal!"
AN: Here is the next chapter. I hope you enjoy it.
Note: I've been planning Charizard vs Bulbasaur. so stay tune.
Clefairy and Beedrill originate from a Comic Strip and EToP respectively.
