Nejire's POV:
The first year of high school and we were already in a dangerous situation.
It wasn't supposed to turn out like this. The UA sports festival is supposed to be a fun, competitive event between the different year groups.
"I got the 10 million points!" I squealed, wrapping the white cloth around my neck loosely.
"Great job Hadou-San! Just try not to lose it, 'kay?" Mirio gave me a thumbs up from below.
"Of course! I'll make sure that it-KYAA!" I was cut off by an explosion, and the series of ear-splitting screams that came after it.
At that time, I had no idea what to do. I was a young, 16-year-old girl, who had no experience whatsoever in hero work. We were being attacked by a group of villains called Bloody Shadows.
Mirio, like the natural hero he was, softly put me down onto the fake grass and ran off to help the citizens in trouble.
As I slowly got up, shaking in fear and anticipation, I didn't notice the giant chunk of concrete that was about to fall on me.
But he did.
"Hadou-San!" Tamaki turned on his heel and ran towards me.
I was confused at first because he was originally running away from the scene.
But when he pushed me to the side and got his crushed by the solid rock in my place...
"Amajiki-Kun!" I gasped, panic flowing in my veins.
I knew I could rightfully call him...
I ran towards him, blasting the boulder into miniature pieces using my quirk.
My saviour.
"AMAJIKI-KUN!"
A/N Self-analysis time! I don't like how I made Nejire a damsel in distress in this when she could have easily blasted through the boulder with her quirk at that exact moment. I also don't like how I made Tamaki get crushed when he could've used his quirk to hold up the boulder, saving both him and Nejire. Guess I wasn't thinking? P.S. This event occurred in MiriTamaNeji's first year of UA. Why did I say MiriTamaNeji instead of big three oml-
The next chapter will be (in my opinion) one of the best so please wait patiently :D
