"No, I do not mind; Cecilia is taking a picture with her dad and stepmom."
"Okay, let me call him and tell them to come over," Marissa said.
Marissa walked out of the master bedroom to make the call, and Cecily looked at her Mama.
"Mama, thank you for letting me take pictures with my dad and stepmom."
"You're a welcome sweet girl of mine. Your stepmom never did anything to me. She went through a terrible ordeal thirty-two years ago. And you know that I did suffer a miscarriage before I got pregnant with you."
"I know, Mama. But that is our secret."
"Yes, baby."
A few minutes later, Marissa walked back into the master bedroom, and said, "They are on their way here."

The priest began the ceremony, speaking, "Dearly, Beloved, we are gathered together this afternoon, in the presence of God, to witness a blessed event, the joining, of this man, and woman in Holy Matrimony. God intends the union husband of a wife, for their mutual love, and happiness, given each other, in prosperity, adversity, and when it is his will and for the procreation of children and their nature."
"Who gave this woman to this man?"

"Please, be seated," everyone sat down.
John Felix Jr. and Cecilia Savannah have come here today to join in Holy Matrimony, which is an honorable estate instituted of God himself, signifying, into us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ, and his church, which holy estate Christ adorned, and beautified with his presence, and first miracle that wrought in Cana of Galilee, and is commended, in Holy Writ to be honorable among all men, and therefore is not by any to be enterprised nor taken in hand unadvisedly, lightly wantonly, but reverently, discreetly, soberly, and in fear of God. But they were duly considering the cause for which matrimony was ordained. First, it was ordained, for the increase, of mankind; according to the will of God, and the children might be brought up in the fear, and nurture of the Lord, and to praise of his Holy name. Secondly, it was ordained in order, that the natural instincts, and affections, implanted by God should be hallowed, and directed, right that those who are called to this Holy estate, should continue therein, in pureness of living. Thirdly, it was ordained for the mutual society to help, and comfort, to the one, ought to have of the other both in prosperity, and adversity, into which Holy estate these two people resent come now to be joined there if any man can show any just cause why they may not lawfully be joined together let him now speak, or else hereafter forever hold his peace."
No one spoke up, so the Priest continued, "I require, and charge you both as you will answer at the dreadful day of judgment when the secrets of all hearts shall be disclosed that if either of you knows any impediment why ye may not be lawfully joined together, in matrimony, you do now confess it will be well assured that so many as are coupled together otherwise than God's words offer love are not joined together by God neither is their matrimony lawful."
"Do you, John Felix, take thee Cecilia Savannah to be your wedded wife to have, and hold from this day forward to love, honor, and cherish her all the day of your natural life, for better, or worse, for richer, or poorer, in sickness, and in health until death do you part?" Priest asked.
John smiled at Cicely and answered, "I do."

Cristian held out the pillow, and the Priest smiled at him and took the rings from the pillow. "Oh lord, bless these rings, as an endless, circle holding the love, and fidelity, of John Felix Jr. and Cecilia Savannah. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
John took the ring and then slid the wedding band onto Cecilia's ring finger, where her engagement ring was.
