The group were all walking up the mountain path, after they had dealt with Unimon.
"Wow, we are pretty high up," TK said, as he looked at the view.
"Hey, do you think we're high enough to make a map of the island?" Tai asked with a smile.
"We may want to reach the top, so you can see everything if you're gonna make a map," Izzy said.
"I don't want to be here long enough to make a map. This place is cold" Mimi said, as she shivered a little, while rubbing her hands on her arms to get warmer.
"If you think this is bad, there is an ice area over there" Naruto said, as he pointed out an area north of them.
Before Mimi could respond, Agumon sniffed at the air.
"What do you smell?" Patamon asked him curiously.
"Trouble up ahead," Agumon said, as he pointed down the mountain path.
Everyone looked and saw what looked like an ogre. It had silvery blue hair, green skin, a blue loincloth and a club in its hands.
"Who's this guy?" Joe asked nervously.
"That's Ogremon. He's a mean, evil Digimon" Gomamon said.
"Why thank you, I do try my best," Orgemon said, with a small bow while smiling evilly at them.
"Good, then we can send you packing!" Impmon yelled.
Orgemon looked at Impmon and sneered at him. "What's a virus type doing being a Digi-Destined partner?" he asked.
"A Digi what now?" Sora asked curiously, as she looked at Biyomon, hoping she had an answer.
"Don't ask me, I have no idea what he's on about," Biyomon said with a shrug.
"You don't have a chance, booger head. It's 7 vs one!" Impmon yelled confidently.
"8" Izzy said, correcting him.
"Yea, but the powderpuff hasn't digivolved yet" Impmon said, pointing at Patamon.
"I can still fight!" Patamon said with a huff.
"Ok, 7 plus Patamon," Impmon said with a condescending grin.
"Grrrrrrr" Patamon growled at this, with his face going red.
"Uh guys? Problem behind us" Matt said, as he pointed behind them.
Everyone turned around and saw what looked like a bipedal lion. He was wearing pants, and had a sword in a sheath on the back of his pants.
"Leomon?" Gabumon asked in surprise.
"This doesn't make sense. Lemmon and Ogremon are both sworn enemies" Palmon said in confusion.
"My master wishes you destroyed. Don't resist" Leomon said, as he took out his sword.
"You're gonna have to put in some work then, Mr kitty!" Naruto yelled, as he nodded at Impmon.
"Don't antagonize the mad lion, man!" Joe yelled out, as both Ogremon and Leomon approached them both.
"It's fight back or roll over gang, and I'm not rolling over" Tai yelled out, as he looked at Agumon, who nodded, ready to fight.
"Ready!" everyone but TK yelled, as their Digivices glowed.
"Agumon digivolve to….Greymon!"
"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"
"Biyomon digivolve to….Birdramon!"
"Tentomon digivolve to….Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon digivolve to….Togemon!"
"Gomamon digivolve to….Ikkakumon!"
"Impmon digivolve to….Wizardmon!"
In several flashes of light, everyone but Patamon digivolved, ready to fight.
Meanwhile, up above them, Devimon was watching them.
"They've learned the secret of teamwork. This group is quite dangerous!" Devimon thought to himself.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon yelled, as he fired a large fireball at Leomon, who jumped back to avoid it.
"Electro Shocker" Kabutarimon yelled, as he fired his blast along with Greymon.
"Needle Spray!" Togemon yelled, as she fired her needles at Leomon, so he wouldn't charge at them.
"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon roared, as he fired his horn at Orgemon, which he jumped over.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon yelled, as he also fired his blast at Ogremon, which he blocked with his club.
"Meteor Wing!" Birdramon yelled, as she fired her attack at Ogremon, who jumped back to avoid the attack.
"Hold still, booger boy! Magical Game!" Wizardmon yelled, as he fired green energy from his staff at Ogremon, burning his tusk.
Ogremon growled at this, as he wiped his tusk in annoyance.
With Devimon, he was watching this with a frown. "This will be a problem, but at least the Patamon hasn't digivolved yet" he thought, as he looked at Patamon.
"Not so tough when you're outnumbered huh, Mr kitty?" Tai asked Leomon with a grin.
Before anyone could continue the fight, the mountain peak above them exploded, sending an avalanche of rocks down at them.
"Avalanche! Watch out!" Joe yelled in a panic, as he took cover.
All the digivolved Digimon quickly turned to the rolling rocks, and fired their attacks at them, destroying them and sending dust everywhere.
"Everyone okay?" Naruto asked, as he waved his hand about, while coughing into his other one.
"Oh yeah, just like a day at the beach," Matt said sarcastically.
"I think I prefer sand in my hair over this," Mimi said, as she shook her hair.
Tai cleared the dust out of his way, and saw that Leomon was gone. "Hey, Leomon is gone!" he yelled to the others.
"No Ogremon here either" Matt said, as the green Digimon was also gone.
"You think that the avalanche sent them both off the cliff?" Sora asked curiously, as she looked over the side.
"Well, unless they can sprout wings, they're goners!" Joe said with a shrug.
"I'm curious what caused the avalanche," Izzy said, as he looked up at the mountain top.
"This is baloney! I wanted to beat up Ogremon some more!" Wizardmon yelled, as he swung his staff in the air.
"Oi! Watch where you're swinging that thing, would ya!" Togemon yelled at him.
"Then get out of my way, pinhead!" Wizardmon yelled out.
"I'll show you a pinhead!" Togemon yelled, as she readied herself to slug Wizardmon.
"Wow, you were not kidding. They are doing that tsundere stuff" Sora said to Naruto with a chuckle at the two squabbling Digimon.
This got a snort of laughter from Tai, and giggling from Mimi, while Matt just rolled his eyes.
After the Digimon had turned back to their rookie forms, they all began to walk along the mountain path.
(Later)
It was now getting dark, and everyone was now making their way down the mountain and were now in a forest.
"We should find some shelter soon" Sora said, as she looked up at the setting sky.
"Yeah, as I don't want to sleep outside on the ground," Mimi said with a nod.
"Well, unless we can find a cave, we're gonna have to make do," Tai said with a shrug.
"We could burrow in the ground and sleep like moles," Naruto said with a grin.
"Hey, that sounds fun!" TK said with a smile, while Matt groaned at this.
"Hmmm, a lot of mammals do that for shelter and warmth" Izzy said, as he thought to himself.
"Please let us find a place to sleep soon" Sora said to herself, as they walked with Mimi shuddering at the idea of burrowing in the ground.
They all soon came up on a path that led deeper into the forest.
And soon they spotted what looked like a mansion at the end of the path.
"Oh, thank goodness shelter" Mimi said with a sigh of relief, as they all ran towards it.
When they reached the front door, Tai knocked on it, causing the door to open. "Hello, anybody here?" he yelled out, as he poked his head in.
"I just saw several movies that start this way, and end with bodies and debauchery, and not exactly in that order" Naruto said, as they all entered the mansion.
Impmon snickered at this, before Biyomon started to peck him on the head, while Sora slapped Naruto in the back of the head while the others all looked around the mansion
"Wow, this place is huge" Mimi said, as she looked around at the mansion with Palmon.
TK was looking at a picture of an angel. "Look Patamon, it's an angel" he said with a smile.
"What's an angel TK?" Patamon asked curiously.
"It's something special that watches over you. Kinda like you guys" TK replied, as he smiled at Patamon.
Naruto smiled at this, before he paused and sniffed the air. "Hey, does anyone else smell that?" he asked.
Tai then sniffed the air, along with Matt. "It smells like food to me," Tai said.
"That's not just food, it smells like broth," Sora said, as she recognized this from her aunt's restaurant.
Naruto's mouth then began to water at this, before he ran off.
"And there he goes," Sora said with a sigh, as she should have seen this coming.
"Fascinating. Naruto might be part bloodhound when it involves ramen" Izzy said, as he watched Naruto run through a door.
"Hey! Wait for us!" Tai yelled, as he ran after Naruto, along with the others.
"Yeah, we're hungry too!" Matt yelled out.
"Don't eat everything, save some for the rest of us!" Joe shouted.
They all followed Naruto through a doorway, and saw that the room Naruto had entered was a dining room, and on the big table inside was all kinds of food and drink.
Naruto was already sitting down, wolfing down a bowl of ramen, with three empty bowls already next to him.
"You ate that much in less than a minute?" Mimi asked surprised at this
Naruto looked up at this, and gave a shrug. "I have ramen withdrawal" he said, with some ramen coming out of the corner of his mouth, before he slurped it up.
"That's not good for you, you know," Mimi said with a frown.
"Yea, so share some of that!" Tai yelled, as he ran over to the table along with Agumon.
"Is that pizza?!" TK asked with a smile, as he ran over, with Patamon flying behind him.
"How do we know this food is safe?" Sora asked with a frown, as everyone else but her and Matt ran over to the table.
"Yea, this seems like a trap to me" Matt said with a nod.
"Naruto has eaten enough ramen to feed a whole family, and is still eating. I think we're fine" Izzy said, as he shook his head at Naruto.
"Go, go, go!" Impmon cheered for Naruto, as he kept eating.
Mimi and Palmon's faces went green at this display.
"Oh come on, this seems way too good to be true. Right Joe?" Sora said, as she turned to look at Joe….who was already walking to the table.
"I'm gonna eat it! At least I won't die hungry!" Joe yelled, as he sat down and grabbed the nearest food to him, before eating it.
Sora looked at this and frowned, as everyone else was eating, before she sighed. "Oi, make room for me! And Tai, you better share some of that pizza!" Sora yelled, as she approached the table.
"I would listen to her, she has my moms right hook when denied food" Naruto said to Tai, before going back to his food.
Tai nodded at this as he passed said pizza to Sora, as he had seen Naruto's mom knock out bikers and with one punch.
(Later)
After they had all eaten, the group had looked around the mansion and found a hot spring, with a boys and girls side.
The boys were in the hot spring along with their Digimon, except for Gabumon who was shy.
"Ah, this really hits the spot after roughing it for so long," Naruto said as he sighed, while resting his head against some rocks.
"Yea. Though am I nuts, or are we missing someone?" Tai asked, as he counted everyone.
"Hey! Get back to the boy's side!" Palmon's voice yelled out from the girls side of the hot spring, before yelling was heard and Gomamon was dropped down on the boys side with lumps on his head.
"Wow, and here I had Impmon pegged for doing that" Matt said with a chuckle.
"Oi! I have better tact than that!" Impmon yelled.
"Like what? Hiding somewhere, while watching the girls?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"…Naruto has a crush on - mmph!" Impmon started to yell, before Naruto grabbed him and dunked his head under the water.
"Oh, ho, ho! The bad boy of the team has a crush, eh?" Tai asked with a teasing grin.
"What's a crush?" Patamon asked TK curiously.
"I think it means when a boy likes a girl," TK said, as he had no experience with this.
"So, who's the lucky lady? Is it anyone we know?" Matt asked with a teasing tone.
"It's obvious who it is, if you pay attention. I mean, there aren't that many choices in this group" Izzy said with a shrug, as he shook his head.
"Yea, I have zero experience with this, and even I know this" Joe said with a nod.
"And if you want to live, you will zip it!" Naruto yelled, as he looked at them, while letting Impmon up.
"Wait, Sora is out, so - Ah ha!" Tai yelled as he smiled in victory.
"Zip it, or I'll tell who you like," Naruto growled, as he glared at Tai.
"Shutting up now" Tai said, dropping his smile while holding his hands up.
"Punk" Matt said with a snicker.
(With the girls)
The girls were all dressed in bathrobes, getting ready to go meet up with the others.
"I can't believe that Gomamon did that!" Mimi said with a huff.
"Yea. I had Impmon pegged for that" Biyomon said with a nod.
"Nah. He's annoying, but that's not his style" Palmon said, as she shook her head.
"Ahhh, so you know him more than the rest of us, huh?" Sora asked with a grin at the plant Digimon, while Mimi giggled at the look on Palmon's face.
"I don't like that idiot!" Palmon said, as she looked from them with a huff.
"Ok ok, calm down. There is no shame in having crushes" Sora said with a grin.
"Oh? Do you have one?" Mimi asked with a curious look.
Sora froze at this, as her face turned red.
"Eeeee, you do! Who is it?" Mimi squealed, as she smiled while clapping her hands a few times.
"I'm not telling you anything" Sora said, shaking her head at this.
"Awww. Would it help if I said I might have one?" Mimi asked with a small smile.
"….it might. Wait, what do you mean might?" Sora asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"Hmmmm. Well, I'm not sure yet if I like him like that yet" Mimi said, as she played with her fingers.
"Oh? What's he like?" Sora asked curiously.
"Well, he is kinda brash, but he has a lot more kindness in him than I thought," Mimi said with a smile.
Sora smiled at this, as she had an idea who Mimi was talking about.
"Hey cuz, are you both done in there yet?" Naruto was heard yelling through the door.
"Yea, you fall in?" Tai yelled, getting laughs from some of the others.
Sora's eyebrow twitched at this, as she grit her teeth. "I can't believe I have a crush on that idiot" she growled to herself.
Mimi giggled at this, as she and the Digimon followed Sora out of the room to watch her beat on Tai.
(Later)
After everyone had gone to sleep in a room with a bunch of beds in them, the picture of the angel disappeared, and showed that it was actually Devimon.
"Finally, we can deal with them in one fell swoop" Devimon said, as Leomon and Ogremon appeared in front of him
"Yes Master. I can not disobey your orders" Leomon said with a monotone.
"What a joy it'll be to get rid of the Digidestined at last!" Orgemon said in glee.
(With Naruto)
Naruto was sleeping in his bed and sleeping soundly.
"Mmmm, and that makes 100 bowls of ramen" Naruto groaned happily, as he dreamed.
"Ehhh, go away you red headed devil" Impmon groaned out, as he dreamed next to Naruto.
"Everyone, wake up!" Matt yelled out, waking everyone up
"What's happening?" Sora yelled out, as they saw the building disappearing.
"Eeeekkkk!" Mimi screamed out in terror.
"What happened?!" Naruto yelled, as he woke up.
Before they could react, all their beds took off flying into the air, making everyone yell.
"Because you are stronger together, I will use my Touch of Evil to scatter you all throughout the Digiworld" Devimon said, with his hands raised.
"Oh great, it's that dramatic ass clown" Impmon groaned, as he held onto the bed.
"Wait, you know this guy?" Naruto asked, as he held onto his bed.
"That clown tried recruiting me when I was Yaamon," Impmon replied, glaring at said Digimon.
Devimon scoffed at this. "This is how low the Sin of Gluttony has fallen? How disappointing" he said.
"What are you on about, you living cliche?!" Impmon yelled at Devimon.
Devimon then raised his hand, and made the beds all fly off in random directions.
"Matt! Help me!" TK yelled out in fear.
"TK!" Matt yelled, as he reached his hand out, as though to grab his younger brother. But he couldn't reach him, as TK and Naruto's bed's went flying in the same direction.
"You just made my list, asshole!" Naruto yelled at Devimon, as he held onto his bed.
Devimon sneered at this, as he turned to Leomon, who had been freed from his control by Tai's digivice, and sent Tai away. "I'll send you after the little one and the Sin of Glutton. If he regains his memory of his past life, he may become a bigger problem than even the Patamon" the evil Digimon said, as he readied his claws.
"You will try," Leomon growled out, as he charged at Devimon with his sword drawn.
(Later with Naruto)
It was now morning, and Naruto was sitting in a tree with Impmon fully dressed after their bed crashed into a tree.
"Well, that was a pain," Naruto said, as he put on his backpack.
"Yea. I can't believe that Digi Deva got one over on us!" Impmon yelled out in annoyance.
"Well, he won't do it again, or my name isn't Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto said with a determined look on his face.
"Damn straight he won't!" Impmon yelled out, as he punched his palm.
"Before you plan on how to get even, we should find the others first. Something tells me that guy will play dirty, and we will need everyone" Naruto said, as he started to climb down the tree.
As he climbed down, he heard something crying out.
"Come on Impmon, let's go!" Naruto yelled, as he jumped down from the tree and ran off.
"Hey, wait for me!" Impmon yelled, as he followed after his partner.
Unseen to them, they were being watched by what looked like a yellow bipedal fox, which had purple gloves. This was Renamon.
"Uzumaki? Heh, I haven't heard that name in ages" Renamon said with a chuckle in a female voice, before she took off following the human and Digimon, by jumping from tree branch to tree branch.
(With Naruto)
Naruto and Impmon ran through the woods, following where the crying they heard was coming from, and soon they found a big waterfall, and nearby was…..
"Naruto!" TK yelled in shock, as he stopped crying and ran over to him, with Patamon close behind.
"Heya squirt," Naruto said with a grin at the young boy, as he patted him on the head.
"Ah great, we got the weakling. I would rather have the flower child help me" Impmon grumbled out.
"I'll be sure to tell your girlfriend that you said that, and that you missed her," Naruto said with a teasing grin.
"You do that, and I'll tell the loud mouth you like her!" Impmon yelled.
Naruto and impmon glared at each other, neither of them backing down.
"….I say nothing, you say nothing. Deal?" Naruto said with a firm tone, holding his hand out.
"…done" Impmon said as he nodded in agreement, as he grabbed Naruto's hand, shaking it.
"Are the others with you?" TK asked Naruto hopefully.
"Afraid not bud" Naruto said with a sigh, shaking his head.
TK started to sniffle at this.
"Hey hey, none of that ok? Me and you will be OK. We can find the others if we stay calm and work together, ok?" Naruto said, as he got on one knee and looked at TK in the eyes.
"Yea, just leave the fighting to us, while the powder puff just sits there" Impmon said with a scoff.
"Hey! I can fight!" Patamon yelled out.
"Since when? You haven't done squat to try and help fight since the rest of us started to Digivolve" Impmon said with a sneer.
Patamon growled at this, clearly agitated at this, as he knew Impmon was right, but he would not admit it.
"Impmon, that's enough," Naruto said firmly, as he looked at his partner.
Impmon rolled his eyes at this, while Patamon blew a raspberry at him.
"And Patamon, Impmon may be being a jerk about it, but he has a point. You need to step up and actually fight" Naruto said firmly to Patamon.
Patamon blinked at this and frowned. "But….I don't like to fight," he said with a frown.
"Oh God, a pacifist!" Impmon groaned, as he slapped his forehead at this.
"I understand fighting is not nice" TK said as he nodded in agreement.
Naruto sighed at this. "Look, I get it you two, but sometimes you have to fight. I mean, look at what has been happening so far with all those Black Gears and now Devimon" he said.
"Yea, you're not gonna help keep your brother safe just sitting there, while we all fight Devimon," Impmon said.
TK and Patamon thought about this, and both frowned.
"Look, if you're scared, just remember you don't have to fight alone. You have the rest of us to back you up" Naruto said, placing a hand on TK's shoulder.
TK thought about this and smiled and nodded. "Ok, I can see fighting if it's to keep the rest of you guys safe" he said.
"And what about you, powder puff? Are you gonna nut up or shut up?" Impmon asked Patamon with a smirk.
Patamon growled at this, before he tackled Impmon and slammed his head into his gut, sending him flying into the ground.
"Hey! No attacking teammates!" TK yelled, as he ran over to Patamon.
"He had that coming squirt," Naruto said with a chuckle, as Impmon got up.
"Ha! Not bad powder puff! You keep that attitude with the enemy, and we will be fine!" Impmon yelled, as he laughed while holding his stomach.
Patamon nodded at this, ready to do this if it meant protecting his friends.
"Ok, let's get moving. Stay close squirt" Naruto said, as he led the way into the woods.
"Yes sensei!" TK said, as he and Patamon nodded and followed Naruto and Impmon.
Naruto chuckled at this, as he led the way into the woods
Up in the trees above, Renamon watched this and chuckled, before she followed them using the treetops.
(Later)
Naruto and Impmon were leading TK and Patamon through the woods.
They soon came out of the woods, and saw what looked like buildings made out of toy building blocks.
"Wow, it looks like a big toy store!" TK yelled as he smiled.
"Or a nursery," Naruto said, as he looked around.
"This place feels peaceful. Not sure if I like it" Impmon said,
"Come on, let's explore" Patamon said, as he ran off, before he began bouncing on the ground.
"Hey, that looks like fun. Let me try" TK said, as he began bouncing off the ground too.
"So much for stepping up" Impmon said with a scoff at this.
"Oh, shut up. They are kids, let them have some fun" Naruto said with a chuckle.
Naruto and Impmon followed after them, and soon they came up to what looked like a field of eggs.
"Oh wow, it's like Easter!" TK said with a smile, as he approached one of the eggs and picked it up.
"Careful squirt, I think these are animal eggs" Naruto said, as he approached TK and looked at the egg TK picked up.
"Pretty smart for a human" a voice said from above them.
Naruto jumped up and looked up, and saw Renamon on a tree branch above them.
"Oh wow, it's Renamon," Patamon said with wide eyes.
"This one well known?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Yup. Renamon is known as a great warrior. It's said she helped fight a great evil long ago" Patamon said as he nodded.
"I don't get into fights anymore, I just help protect this place these days" Renamon said, as she jumped down to them.
Impmon jumped back at this and hid behind Naruto, as Renamon got closer.
"What's with you?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you scared of foxes?" TK asked curiously.
"N-no! Something is just telling me to keep away from her" Impmon said, as he shook his head, while poking it around Naruto's leg.
Renamon raised an eyebrow at this, before she looked at TK. "Would you like me to show you how to hatch them?" she asked with a smile.
"Hatch them? Into what?" TK asked curiously.
"Why into Digimon of course" Renamon said, as she approached TK to show him how to hatch the egg he was holding.
"Ah, so that's how it works," Naruto said as he nodded at this.
"Of course it is. Why, did you think we grew out of the ground or off trees or something?" Patamon asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"Oh! It's shaking!" TK said, as his egg started to shake after TK rubbed it gently.
The egg then burst open, and a small pale black Digimon baby popped out of it.
"Ah, a Botamon" Renamon said with a nod at the baby Digimon who TK put down, before a basket suddenly appeared underneath the baby.
They then heard noises, and saw a bunch of baby Digimon running over to them.
"Cool! Come on Patamon, let's go play with them!" TK said, as he and his Digimon took off, running to play with the baby Digimon.
"So, do you protect the baby Digimon here?" Naruto asked Renamon curiously.
"Well yes, me and -" Renamon was saying, before she was cut off.
"Super Thunderstrike!" a voice yelled out, as a yellow blast of energy shot at TK.
"Get down!" Patamon yelled, as he tacked TK to the ground, before the attack flew over them, slamming into one of the giant blocks.
"Hey, what the hell is your problem?!" Naruto yelled, as he spotted a Digimon, which was red with purple stripes on it.
"Yea! What if one of the babies was caught in the crossfire?" Impmon yelled at the red Digimon that was approaching them.
"I am one of the protectors of the Primary Hatching Ground and Nursery, and it's my job to keep trespassers -" the Digimon was saying, before Renamon appeared behind him, her fist raised….
SLAM!
Before she slammed it into the Digimon's head.
"What the hell is your problem, Elecmon?! Is that how you welcome guests?!" Renamon yelled out, shocking everyone at this.
"Since when do you yell like a pack of Pipismon?!" Elecmon asked, holding his head in pain.
"Since you pulled an idiot move like that! And where is that fish you were supposed to get for the babies?!" Renamon bellowed out.
"I'll get it!" Elecmon yelled, as he ran off in a hurry, not wanting to test Renamon's patience.
Renamon glared at Elecmon as he left, before she looked at Naruto, TK and their Digimon, who had surprised looks on their faces at this.
"Sorry about that. I tend to get like that when someone pulls a stupid move" Renamon said with a calm tone.
"N-no problem, Miss Renamon" TK said politely, while Ppatamon quickly nodded at this.
"Yea. If anything, I'm more surprised than scared. You kinda remind me of my mom….only way less cursing" Naruto said with a chuckle.
Renamon paused at this and chuckled. "Well, I kinda learned how to do that from an old friend of mine," she said.
"Must be some friend. I would hate to see who you learned to scare people from" Impmon said with a nervous chuckle.
"Anyway, Renamon, have you seen any other humans, like me and TK?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Hmmm, I'm afraid not. But I have some friends I could ask to find them for you" Renamon said, as she looked at Naruto.
"Can these friends really help us?" TK asked curiously.
"Indeed. They could let your friends know where to find you" Renamon said, as she smiled and nodded at TK.
"Hooray!" TK and Patamon cheered together, glad that they had found a way to find the others.
Naruto smiled at this, happy that TK was happy, before he looked at Renamon. "Thanks for the help" he said, as he nodded in gratitude.
"It's no trouble," Renamon said, as she nodded at Naruto. "It's the least I can do for you…Kushina" Renamon thought to herself, as she looked at Naruto and smiled a little, seeing him smile like her old friend.
(Hours later)
Hours later Naruto, TK and their Digimon were hanging out with the baby Digimon, and helping feed them with Elecmon and Renamon.
Naruto was holding a Botamon in his lap, which was making strange noises.
"Er, what's it -" Naruto was saying, before it was covered in smoke. When the smoke cleared, a blue fur covered Digimon was in Naruto's lap.
"Heya, I'm Wanyamon!" the Digimon said happily.
"Well, congratulations on Digivolving, little guy," Naruto said with a smile.
"I am so ready to leave," Impmon said, as he was surrounded by baby Digimon, begging him for attention.
"Oh relax, it's not that -" Naruto was saying, before he was cut off.
"Get down!" Renamon yelled, as she blocked an attack from a blast that was in the shape of a cat's head, sending her flying.
Naruto scowled and saw Leomon approaching them, while he unsheathed his blade.
"I must obey my Master. I shall destroy you for Devimon" Leomon said, before he charged at them.
Naruto turned to Elecmon. "Get the babies out of here!" he yelled at him.
Elecmon nodded at this, as he ran to the baby Digimon and led them away.
"You two ready to step up, or are you gonna let us do all the heavy lifting?" Impmon asked TK and Patamon, as he cracked his knuckles.
TK and Patamon looked at each other and nodded, before they stood next to Naruto, ready to fight.
"Impmon?" Naruto asked, as he held his Digivive up, which was glowing.
"On it!" Impmon yelled, as he ran at Leomon and started to glow.
"Impmon digivolve to…Wizardmon!"
Wizardmon flew at Leomon and swung his staff at him, clashing with his sword.
"Pathetic" Leomon growled, as he easily kept Wizardmon back.
"Oh, am I?" Wizardmon asked with an audible smirk, before his staff lit up with green electricity and shocked Leomon, making him yell in pain.
"Boom Bubble!" Patamon yelled, as fired his attack at Leomon's head.
Leomon growled at this, as he grabbed Patamon and held him in his fist.
"Hey! Hands off the powder puff!" Wizardmon yelled, as he threw a Thunderbolt at Leomon, making him yell in pain and causing him to let go of Patamon.
"Hello, you've got some company" Orgemon said, as he walked over, while holding a baby Digimon in his hand.
"Do you really want to piss off the fox behind you?" Naruto asked as he backed up a little.
"Ha! Yeah right, like I'm gonna -" Orgemon was saying with a cocky smirk, before he was cut off.
"Diamond Storm!" a voice bellowed, as a barrage of white diamonds hit him in the back.
"Gahhhh!" Ogremon yelled, as he dropped the baby Digimon, who quickly ran off.
"What the hell are -" Orgemon was saying, as he turned to look at Renamon, before her fist slammed into his face.
Orgemon was sent flying into a rock nearby slamming into it, making it crack from the force.
"Ugh, you chipped my teeth!" Ogremon yelled, as he held his jaw in pain.
Renamon approached Ogremon, cracking her knuckles as she did. "Oh really? I was going for knocking them out. I guess I'll have to keep trying then, huh?!" she yelled, as she pounced on Ogremon and started to beat him up.
"Wow" Naruto said with wide eyes at this.
"A little help here!" Wizardmon yelled, as he attacked Leomon, who had Patamon in his hand again.
"Howling Blaster!"
"Nova Blast!"
Leomon jumped out of the way of the two attacks, dropping Patamon as he did as Garurumon and Greymon attacked him.
"It's about time you got here" Naruto said, as he spotted Tai running over to him, while Matt ran over to TK who was with Patamon.
"Sorry. The traffic was terrible" Tai said with a grin.
"You ok TK?" Matt asked his little brother.
"I'm great. Sensei has been looking out for me" TK said as he smiled.
"Oh? And who is this sensei?" Matt asked with a smile.
TK simply pointed at Naruto. "He's been teaching me to be useful and to fight when needed," he said with a smile.
Matt looked at Naruto at this, and made a mental note to talk to him later.
"Guys!" Izzy yelled out, as Kabuterimon landed nearby, as Izzy Mimi jumped off him and ran over to them, while Togemon tackled Leomon.
"Need some help?" Togemon asked Wizardmon with a smug tone.
"Less talking, more beating down the kitty!" Wizardmon yelled as he fired his thunder ball at Leomon
"Mimi! Izzy! I'm glad you're both ok" Naruto said, as he smiled at his friends.
Mimi pulled Naruto into a hug, surprising him, but he smiled as he hugged her back. "It's only been a day, Mimi," he said to her.
"It felt like longer, with how worried she was," Izzy said with a grin.
Mimi pulled away from Naruto and smiled, before she saw something behind him. "Uh, is she with you?" Mimi asked, as she pointed at Renamon, who had Ogremon in a choke hold.
"Say uncle!" Renamon yelled, as she tightened her grip making an audible crack.
"Uncle! Uncle!" Ogremon yelled, as he slammed his feet on the ground in pain, with his mouth missing several teeth.
"Yea, she's a friend we made," Naruto said with a grin, as Renamon kicked Ogremon away from her, sending him skidding across the ground.
"And if I ever see you in the Primary Hatching Ground and Nursery again, it better be because you got killed, otherwise I'll do the job myself!" Renamon yelled after Ogremon, as he ran away.
"Wow" Tai said with a chuckle at this.
"Look, we can discuss Naruto's friend later Tai. We have something to show you" Izzy said, as he and mMmi held out their Digivices.
"Oh yea, you won't believe what we found out" Mimi said, as she nodded with a grin.
"What's up?" Naruto asked, as he knew it was best to listen to Izzy.
"They are called Digivices, and they have the ability to completely destroy the Black Gears" Izzy said.
Naruto and Tai's eyes widened at this, as they both pulled their Digivices out and looked at them, then at the battle with Leomon, who was now pitch black after several more Black Gears flew into him.
"Well, we may as well try it," Tai said to Naruto, who nodded and followed him in walking towards Leomon.
"Hey, Mr kitty!" Naruto yelled, getting Leomon's attention.
"Devimon wants you all destroyed. Come here -" Leomon was saying, before being interrupted.
"Now!" Tai yelled out, as he held out his Digivice, which lit up and engulfed Leomon in its light.
"Gaaaah!" Leomon yelled, as what looked like Black Gears were coming out of his back.
"Look, the Black Gears are making their way out!" Matt yelled.
"This should make them leave faster!" Naruto yelled, as he raised his own Digivice at Leomon, which also lit up and engulfed Leomon.
Leomon roared, as the Black Gears flew out of him.
"Light em up!" Wizardmon yelled, as he fired his Magical Game at the gears.
"Electro Shocker!"
"Nova Blast!"
"Howling Blaster!"
"Needle Spray!"
The Digimon's attacks struck the gears, and made them shatter into pieces.
Tai smiled at this before, he looked at Leomon, who was kneeling on the ground. "Are you ok now?" he asked.
"Indeed. Finally, I am free from Devimon's control" Leomon said, as he stood up, smiling at Tai.
"That guy needs a kick in the teeth," Naruto said with a scowl.
"Think we should ask your friend for tips?" Mimi asked, as she gestured to Renamon, remembering how she had beat up Ogremon.
Naruto snorted at this and smiled at Mimi, finding this funny.
(A few hours later)
The sun was now setting, and Leomon was telling everyone about the Digidestined, and why he thought they were here.
"So you think we are these Digidestined?" Izzy asked curiously.
"You all have the Digivice's like the Digidestined before you. That's all the proof I need" Leomon said as he nodded.
"Wait, there were Digidestined before us?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Why not ask them for help then?" Matt asked as he frowned, wondering why they were roped into this.
Leomon shook his head at this. "They left the digital world long ago," he said.
"Well, if we need to beat Devimon to go home and save the island, then we better do it," Tai said, as he looked at everyone, ready to lead them.
"Yea, let's kick his teeth in!" TK yelled, as he thrusted his fist into the air.
Matt blinked at this, before he glared at Naruto lightly.
"What?" Naruto asked with an innocent look.
"Don't give me that. You're trying to turn my little brother into a delinquent, like you!" Matt yelled at Naruto.
"And what if he learnt it from you?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't have a record for pranks, and getting into fights at school!" Matt yelled at Naruto.
"Yea, you just have a rep for being the loner, who's too cool to hang out with others, like old duck butt" Naruto said with a scowl.
This got a groan from Tai and Mimi.
"Oh, I hate that guy!" Tai yelled out as he scowled.
"Yea, he's always so angry since his dad left" Mimi said with a frown, as while she could sympathize, there was a limit to her sympathy.
"What are they on about?" Tentomon asked Izzy curiously.
"A schoolmate back home" Izzy said with a sigh
"I am not like that Uchiha guy!" Matt yelled at Naruto, clearly upset at this comparison.
"I don't know. The bird nest hair is a classic symptom" Naruto said with a smirk.
Before Matt could respond, he was cut off.
"Enough! You all need to work together, if you're gonna defeat Devimon" Leomon said firmly, getting their attention.
"Problem with that Leomon is that we're short two members," Tai said.
"Yea. Sora and Joe aren't here" Mimi said with a frown.
"That's no problem. The pieces of the island are heading for Infinity Mountain. If I know my cousin, she will head for there to help us beat up Devimon" Naruto said, as he looked at Infinity Mountain, which was getting closer thanks to the land they were on.
"Well, the island should be close enough soon, so until then you should all rest and eat," Leomon said.
"Eat what exactly? Wood and grass?" Mimi asked curiously.
"We are back with food for you all!" Elecmon yelled, getting their attention, seeing him pulling a net full of fish while Renamon was carrying a basket full of fruit.
"Wow, you like taking care of people here, don't you?" Tai asked, surprised at this, as the two Digimon approached.
"Indeed. We usually are taking care of baby Digimon, but seeing as you're all new Digidestined, we can make an exception" Renamon said with a nod.
"Ok everyone, let's eat and rest up. When we get close enough, we march towards Devimon" Naruto said to the group.
"Yes sensei!" TK yelled, as he nodded in agreement.
Naruto chuckled at this, and patted TK on the head
"Hey, since Naruto is the kid's sensei, does that make me yours?" Impmon asked Patamon with a grin.
"You wish," Patamon said with a glare.
"That's no way to talk to your sensei!" Impmon said with a smug grin.
"What can you teach me anyway?" Patamon asked him.
"First of all, don't hesitate in a battle, otherwise it will cost you," Impmon said.
This got looks from everyone, as they got ready to eat.
"That almost sounded eloquent," Palmon said as she looked at Impmon.
"Yea, that just came to me I think from a dream I had. Can't remember it though" Impmon said as he smiled, before shrugging as he helped himself to an apple.
Renamon heard this and paused, as she slightly frowned and clenched her fists, as she tried not to react to this.
(Later)
It was now night, and the group were walking towards Infinity Mountain.
"So, does anyone have a plan on how to take down Devimon?" Gabumon asked curiously.
"We Digivolve and curb stomp his punk ass!" Impmon yelled, as he pumped his fist.
"I like it. Simple and easy to remember" Naruto said with a grin.
"What does curb stomp mean?" TK asked Matt curiously.
"Nothing, and language, you moron" Matt said with a glare at Impmon.
"I'm sorry, did you say language?" Impmon said with a snicker.
"Don't think just because Biyomon isn't here, I can't fill in for her," Palmon said with a glare.
"Everyone, focus! I think I see Devimon's base" Tai yelled, as he pointed out what looked like a stone building on top of the mountain
"So, do we knock or just bust our way in?" Naruto asked.
Suddenly the base exploded, as what looked like a giant Devimon stood up out of the destroyed base.
"We Digivolve and curb stomp him!" Agumon yelled, deciding to try out what Impmon said.
"Let's do this!" Tai yelled, taking out his Digivice, ready to go.
"Right!" everyone but TK yelled, as they also took out their Digivices.
"Agumon Digivolve to….Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digivolve to….Garurumon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to….Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon Digivolve to….Togemon!"
"Impmon Digivolve to…..Wizardmon!"
Devimon towered above them, and sneered at them unimpressed. "You're all fools. Don't expect me to play silly games with you. I'm far too powerful for that" he said with a glare at them.
"Meteor Wing!"
"Harpoon Torpedo!"
Devimon turned towards the side, and was bombarded by Birdramon and Ikkakumon's attacks.
"Jump him!" Wizardmon yelled at his fellow Digimon, who jumped and attacked Devimon.
"Hiya cuz, good to have you back" Naruto said with a smile at Sora, as she and Joe ran over.
"Glad you were able to stay out of trouble," Sora said with a smile at Naruto.
"Hey, it's not my fault. Trouble always finds me" Naruto said as he chuckled.
Wizardmon then hopped on Birdramon's back, twirling his staff before both Digimon unleashed their attacks, creating a large ball of fire. Greymon and Garurumon looked up, unleashing their own attacks to the ball, causing it to expand and grow into a spiraling ball of orange and blue flames, striking Devimon and pushing him back a good distance. Ikkakumon and Togemon fired off their own projectiles of horn missiles and needle sprays, with Ogremon swiping his club to swat the attacks away to defend his healing master.
"Oh come on, can't you take the hint?!" Wizardmon yelled at Ogremon.
"You Digidestined won't beat us that easily!" Ogremon yelled, as Birdramon flew away.
"Then it's a good thing they're not alone!" Leomon yelled out, as he ran at Orgemon with his sword drawn, and cut Ogremon away from Devimon.
"Enough!" Devimon yelled, as he unleashed a wave of black energy, which sent all the Digimon and humans flying.
"Ow, talk about a cheap shot," Tai said with a groan.
"I can't feel my needles" Togemon groaned from the ground.
Devimon looked down, and saw TK and Patamon. "You're the one that I want. With you gone, I have nothing to fear. They say that the youngest will destroy me. And I'm not going to let that happen. So come here, and make it easier for both of us" he said with a sneer.
TK and Patamon started to panic at this, as Devimon reached for him.
"Not happening. Come on, you bunch of wusses. Let's kick his ass!" Wizardmon yelled, as he got up and flew at Devimon.
"Attack him!" Birdramon yelled, as she flew at Devimon and slammed into his side.
Greymon and Garurumon ran at Devimon's legs and slammed into them, making the devil Digimon stumble before Kabuterimon dropped Togemon on Devimon's face.
"Gaah!" Devimon yelled in pain, from Togemon's needles.
"Not bad flower child!" Wizardmon yelled with a laugh, as he threw a Thunderbolt Ball at Devimon's knee.
"TK, we need to get you and Patamon out of here!" Matt yelled, as he ran over to TK.
TK and Patamon started to follow Matt, but they stopped as they saw Devimon starting to fight back again.
"TK?" Patamon asked.
"We can't let them fight and get hurt trying to protect us. Patamon, are you ready to nut up or shut up?" he asked with a smile.
Patamon smiled at this and nodded. "You bet I am" he said, as he turned to look at Devimon.
"Let's do this!" TK yelled, as his Digivice started to glow, which caused Patamon to glow.
"Patamon Digivolve to….Angemon!"
Everyone stopped fighting and saw what looked like a humanoid angel Digimon. He had long orange hair, a helmet hiding the top half of his head, a golden yellow staff in his hand and angel wings on his back.
"Wow, that's the little guy's digivolved form?" Mimi said with wide eyes
"He's obviously got an advantage against Devimon then, if he wanted him gone" Izzy said with a nod.
"Of course the powder puff is a light type" Wizardmon groaned out, as the light coming off Angemon was blinding him a bit.
"What's this, another foolish attempt?" Devimon asked, as Angemon floated above him.
"The forces of good are more powerful . I'll destroy you and bring peace to the island!" Angemon declared, holding up his staff. Suddenly, the other Digimon started to glow as their wounds were all healed.
"What is this light!? Stop it!" Devimon cried out in pain.
The light blinded the evil Digimon, as he held up his hands protecting himself. Ogremon shot from his chest, attempting to attack Angemon, but was blown back leaving a hole in Devimon's chest.
The devil Digimon held his hands out to crush Angemon.
"Be careful!" TK cried out in worry.
"Come here pretty boy!" Devimon roared angrily, as he reached out to grab Angemon.
Before, Wizardmon blasted Devimon between the legs with his Magical Game.
This made Devimon hunch over in shock, while the boys all groaned and winced, as their hands instinctively went to their own privates.
"Gahahahahaha! No matter how strong you are, you have the same weakness as the rest of us!" Wizardmon yelled out with a laugh.
"He's vulnerable! Everyone, attack him!" Tai yelled to the others
"Nova Blast!" Greymon yelled, as he unleashed his fire attack.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon yelled, unleashing his attack on Devimon.
"Meteor Wing!" Birdramon shouted, sending fireballs at Devimon.
"Needle Spray!" Togemon yelled as she spun in place, sending needles at Devimon.
"Electro Shocker!" Kabutarimon yelled, as he blasted Devimon.
"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon roared, as he fired his torpedoes at Devimon.
Devimon yelled out, as he was attacked from all sides.
"Let him have it, Angemon!" TK yelled out.
Angemon nodded as he held up his glowing fist. "Hand of Fate!" he yelled, as he fired his attack at Devimon, which was a beam of light that blasted through Devimon's chest.
"Urk - D-damn it!" Devimon growled, as his body started to fade away, and turn into data.
"Ha, game over asshole!" Naruto yelled with a grin.
"Oh, but the game is not yet over, child. For you see, there are plenty of evil Digimon out there, and some are even stronger than me" Devimon said with a smirk.
This made everyone frown and look worried.
"You all may have beaten me, but this victory won't change a thing. Ahahahahahahahaha!" Devimon laughed as he disappeared
The sun started to come up after this, and all the Digimon de-digivolved back to normal.
"I got ya!" TK yelled, as he caught Patamon and hugged him close.
"Way to step up you two" Naruto said, as he gave them a thumbs up.
"Yes sensei!" TK and Patamon said, both of them smiling.
"Hey, why do you call him sense, and not me?" Impmon shouted at Patamon.
"I don't think Patamon should be taking nut shots vs the enemy" Sora said with a flat look at Impmon.
"Hey, in a real fight, it's nuts or nothing if you want to win!" Impmon yelled out.
"Relax buddy, you did good," Naruto said with a smile at his partner.
"Yea, you gave us a great opening to help Angemon finish him," Gomamon said with a smile, as he slapped Impmon on the back.
"Yea, you did good, so take the win" Palmon said with a nod at Impmon.
"A complement flower child?" Impmon asked with a grin.
"Don't get used to it," Palmon said simply, getting laughs from the others.
"Hey guys, look. The island is coming back together again" Izzy said, as he pointed out at the sea.
"That's because Devimon's been defeated. When evil is eliminated, the island returns to its normal state," Izzy said with a smile.
"But, what's with those other evil Digimon across the sea?" Matt asked in concern.
"Uh guys?" Mimi said, as she pointed at a rock nearby, which cracked and what looked like a hologram of an old man appeared before them.
The old man had a white mustache, white hair in a small ponytail at the top of his head and had dog tags around his neck. He wore a blue coat with pink along the edges.
{"Ah, I heard some new kids have shown up. I must say, you did good for your first battle"} the old man said with a nod.
The group all looked at the old man with interest.
"Uh, thanks. But who are you?" Tai asked curiously.
"Please don't say we have to fight more guys like Devimon" Joe said with a look of fear.
"Suckers bet," Naruto and Impmon said together.
{"I'm afraid there are more Digimon that need to be dealt with now where to start"} the old man said, as he looked at the group.
"I don't wanna have to fight again" Mimi said with a groan.
"Well, according to Leomon's legend we've gotta do it! Remember, he said that we're the Digidestined!" Tai said with a smile.
"Yea. Plus, look at what we did when all of us stepped up. We can do this, if we stay together and have each other's back" Naruto said with a smile at the group.
The old man smiled at this. "He's definitely Minato and Kushina's kid" he thought, as the other kids all nodded in agreement, ready to hear him out.
