The group were all walking through the desert, with Tai carrying Koromon and frowning.
Naruto noticed this and sighed, as he knew after Koromon digivolved into SkullGreymon, Tai would probably be mad at himself for a while.
"Ugh, this desert is going on forever!" Mimi groaned, as she looked up at the sky while wiping her forehead.
"Here" Naruto said, as he passed Mimi his canteen of water.
Mimi blinked at this, before she frowned at this. "I don't want to take your water," she said.
"Mimi, I'm fine and you're thirsty," Naruto said with a smile.
Mimi said nothing to this, but frowned.
"If it makes you feel better, we can share my water, so we're both getting a drink" Naruto said, as he knew Mimi wasn't gonna back down easily.
Mimi said nothing to this, before she nodded and took Naruto's canteen and took a drink from it, before passing it to Naruto, who took a drink himself.
"Ah, the first indirect kiss," Matt said with a smirk.
Naruto choked at this and started to cough, while Mimi blushed in surprise, getting laughs from Matt, Sora and of course Impmon.
"I'll get you, and I'll make it look like a bloody accident," Naruto said, as he wiped his mouth.
Matt scoffed at this, ignoring this as they continued to walk.
"I would be more worried Matt. According to my mom, Auntie used to say that too, before she would put people in the hospital" Sora said in warning.
Matt paused at this and slightly paled, as it was a going rumor at school that Naruto's mom was worse than any gang leader.
"Hey guys, I think I see something," Tentomon said, as he hovered in the air over them, looking out into the desert.
"Oh, please say it's another oasis" Joe said, hoping it was an oasis like Guilmon's.
"Hey leader, we need you to take a look with your telescope" Naruto called out to Tai, who was still being silent.
"R-right" Tai said, as he put Koromon under his arm, while using his free hand to try and fish out his telescope.
"Here Tai, let me help" Sora said as she took Koromon, and held him for Tai, while he got out his telescope.
"Thanks Sora, you're the best," Tai said, as he took out his telescope and looked where Tentomon was pointing.
Sora smiled happily at this, glad Tai appreciated her.
Impmon, who was nearby, was smiling smugly and raised his hand to say something…..
Before Sora turned to glare at him, her eyes slightly glowing, and her teeth razor sharp.
Impmon paled at this, before he ran to hide behind Naruto.
"Punk ass," Naruto said with a snicker at his partner.
"N-not funny. I swear, I saw something growl like that at me in my dreams" Impmon said, as he shook his head
"So, what do you see?" TK asked Tai curiously, as he looked at the horizon.
"Uh, it might be the heat, but I see a giant yacht coming at us" Tai said as he pointed.
Everyone looked at where Tai was pointing, and saw that there indeed was a massive white yacht coming at them.
"Why is there a yacht sailing in the desert?" Izzy asked, finding this very odd.
"Why was there a beach full of telephone booths?" Sora asked.
"Why were there a bunch of vending machines full of living sludge?" Mimi asked.
"Or the fridge full of eggs," Joe said, chiming in.
"Oh, and don't forget about the cable car next to that lake," Naruto said.
"And the bad singing, brain dead, monkey after us" TK said with a smile.
This got laughs from the others, as the yacht came closer and they saw that it towered over them.
"Wow, it's like a yacht from those cruise lines you see brochures about" Sora said with a smile, as they all looked at the yacht, as it stopped in front of them.
"Yea, it looks like the one my daddy took me and my mom on last summer" Mimi said with a smile.
"Oooo, a rich girl. Good choice" Impmon whispered to Naruto with a snicker, before Naruto slapped him on the back of the head.
"So, do you think there's a friendly Digimon captaining it?" TK asked curiously.
"Who knows, so stay at the ready" Naruto said firmly.
"Yes sensei!" TK and Patamon said with a nod.
The ship's passenger door opened, and a flight of stairs was let down.
Everyone looked up the stairs and saw what looked like a robot butler at the top.
"Welcome to the SS Anne. My captain welcomes you as his guests" the robot butler said with a robotic voice.
"Score!" Tai yelled, as he grabbed Koromon from Sora, and ran up the stairs.
This got a groan from Naruto, as the others started to follow him.
"This so screams trap" Naruto whispered to Impmon.
"Well, duh," Impmon said with a flat look.
"Come on Naruto! Let's go!" Mimi yelled, as she grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him onto the yacht.
"You too gremlin!" Palmon yelled, as she grabbed Impmon with her vines and dragged him up the stairs.
"Hey! I said I'm not into that kinky crap! Ow!" Impmon yelled, as he struggled to get loose, before his head smacked the stairs as he was dragged up.
"Oops," Palmon said with a smirk, as she dragged Impmon.
Everyone was soon on the yacht, which soon started to move again.
"Wow, look at how fancy it is" TK said, as he looked around curiously with Patamon.
"We have all kinds of activities for you all to enjoy; a theater, a pool, an arcade, a spa and sauna, and a full buffet" the robot butler said to them.
"So, who is the captain of the ship?" Naruto asked curiously, as everyone split up and went in different directions, along with their Digimon.
"That would be Master Kokatorimon" the robot butler said, as he turned to look at Naruto. "Now, what activity would you like to do, sir?"
"Buffet! I could eat a horse!" Impmon yelled, as he saw Tai and Joe making a beeline for a door that led inside said dining area.
"Impmon, this is so a tra -" Naruto was saying, before getting cut off.
"Hey, they have 5 different types of ramen here!" Sora yelled from inside the kitchen.
"Save some for me, or I swear to Kami, I'll get myself sick and use your hat as a puke bag, like when we were kids!" Naruto yelled, as he ran after them.
"Oi! I took the wrap for that!" Tai yelled, sounding annoyed.
(Later, with the girls in the hot spring)
Sora and Mimi sighed in relief, as they sat in the hot spring, along with their partner Digimon.
"Ah, this is the best after walking through that desert," Mimi said, as she sighed happily.
"And dealing with Etemon" Sora said, as she nodded in agreement.
"Don't forget dealing with SkullGreymon" Biyomon said, as she shuddered at the memory.
"Do you think that's Koromons next form, or do you think something went wrong?" Palmon asked curiously.
"I'm sure Koromon's real Ultimate form is way better than SkullGreymon," Biyomon said with a smile.
"Is that logic you're using, or do you like Agumon?" Palmon asked with a grin.
Biyomon paused at this, making Palmon, Sora and Mimi giggle at this, before she pouted with her arms crossed.
"I'm sure Tai has a better attitude now. And wipe that smirk off your face Mimi" Sora was saying, as she smiled before she gave Mimi a look.
"Are you gonna growl like your Auntie at me too?" Mimi asked with a nervous smile.
"No. I'm gonna ask, have you decided if you like Naruto yet" Sora said with a knowing grin at her friend.
Mimi paused at this, before she looked away from Sora, with a light blush on her face.
"Well, you're better off Mimi. He's family, but he's a pain and an idiot" Sora said with a smirk, as Mimi's eyebrow twitched at this.
"Yeah, and I think he's a lazy bum," Palmon said with a nod, as she smiled.
Mimi's eyebrow twitched even more at this
"Oh, and let's not forget that he's an immature prankster," Biyomon said with a grin.
Before Mimi stood up in a rage, and grabbed a steel bowl.
"Enough! I don't want to hear this! Naruto has been nothing but sweet and a great friend to me, and I won't stand for you -" she was yelling, as she raised the steel bowl to swing at them.
"Woah, woah! Calm down Mimi!" Palmon yelled, as she backed up and Biyomon took flight.
"Yea, I was just baiting you to defend him" Sora said with a knowing grin.
Mimi paused at this, before she blushed and sat down in the water again, with the bottom half of her face under the water.
"Relax, you can trust us girls to not tell. But I reserve the right to tease you, when we're alone" Sora said, shrugging her shoulders slightly, before she smiled teasingly at Mimi.
Mimi groaned at this and covered her face in embarrassment, while the others giggled. Unseen to them, what looked like a white giant bird with glowing green eyes was watching them.
(With Naruto)
After everyone had eaten Naruto, Tai, Joe and their partner Digimon were all relaxing by the pool, while the others were inside the ship in the theater area, watching a movie.
"Ah, this is much better than walking in the desert," Naruto said, as he rested on a lawn chair next to Impmon in his own chair.
"Hear hear" Joe said with a sigh of relief, as he rested on his own lawn chair, while Gomamon was happily swimming in the pool.
Naruto nodded at this, before he looked at Tai, who was sitting in his own lawn chair, looking up at the sky, as Koromon sat under an umbrella while sleeping.
"You know, stewing about what happened before, is just gonna make you sloppy in a fight later," Naruto said firmly, as he sat up.
"But what if I cause him to digivolve to SkullGreymon agai -" Tai was saying, before Naruto cut him off.
"Tai, did you learn your lesson when that happened?" Naruto asked firmly.
Tai nodded at this, as he could confidentiality say that he had.
"Then you're obviously not gonna do that again, right?" Naruto asked again.
"Of course not!" Tai yelled out.
"Then relax. You were doing fine, before you got your crest and thought only you could beat the enemy" Naruto stated firmly.
Tai said nothing to this, but looked down at the ground.
Naruto sighed at this, as he rubbed his forehead. "Look Tai. You messed up, but you that's life. You're gonna mess up like everyone else. The best you can do is learn from your failures and try to do better" he said firmly, but kindly.
Tai said nothing to this, before he sighed and nodded. "Thanks Naruto. You know, you're pretty good at pep talks. Heh, are you sure you don't want the job as leader?" he asked with a chuckle, as he felt a lot better now.
"Nope, that's your problem" Naruto said with a smile, as he laid back down on his lawn chair, with his hands behind his head.
"Yeah, no take backs!" Impmon yelled as he snickered.
Tai laughed at this while he nodded in agreement.
"Hey!" Joe yelled out, getting their attention, and when they looked over, they saw he was covered in a net along with Gomamon by some robots nearby, who were now aiming their net guns at them.
"Oi, what's your deal?!" Naruto yelled, as the nets were fried at him and Tai.
"The captain wants your crests for Etemon" one of the robots said, as he approached the table where they left their tags and crests.
"And why does he want them, you Terminator ripoff?!" Naruto demanded.
"Who cares? Let's get them Koromon!" Tai yelled, as he reached through his net and grabbed his digivice, before the robot could grab it.
"You got it Tai! Koromon digivolve to….Agumon!" Koromon yelled, as in a flash of light he digivolved, before he blasted the robot near the crests with his fire.
"Oi, wait for me lizard boy! Bada Boom Fireball!" Impmon yelled, as he blasted some of the robots.
Agumon slashed at Tai's net, freeing him so he could get loose.
"Go free Joe and Gomamon" Tai said to Agumon, before he went to go free Naruto.
Agumon nodded at this, before he and Agumon went to go free Joe and Gomamon.
"Should have known this was too good to be true" Naruto said with a sigh, as Tai freed him.
"Hey, at least we have each other's back," Tai said with a chuckle.
Naruto nodded at this, before he approached one of the downed robots. "Ok loser, you get one chance; where are our friends?" he asked, as Impmon approached with his hands aflame.
"The other males are locked up in the theater, and some of our fellow robots are going after the females," the robot said.
"Who should we save first?" Joe asked, as he and Gomamon walked over.
"The guys. I'm more worried about the captain, once Sora finds out what he tried to pull" Naruto said with a grin
(Meanwhile)
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ship, the wall of the ship exploded as what looked like a giant cockatoo was sent skidding on the deck of the ship. It had red tips on its tail feathers, a black plumage on its head and a large yellow beak with sharp teeth. This was Kokotrimon.
"What kind of lady's are you?!" Kokatorimon yelled, as he got to his feet while Birdramon flew out of the hole, and Togemon walked out punching her fists together. while a fully dressed Sora and Mimi followed.
"The kind that doesn't like being spied on, turkey boy" Sora said with a scowl, as she glared at the bird Digimon.
"Should have figured the females would be harder to deal with then capturing the males" Kokatorimon said with a scowl.
"You captured the others?" Mimi asked, sounding worried.
"Oh good, now I won't feel bad when we trash your ship" Sora said, before she nodded at Birdramon, who nodded back and let loose her Meteor Wing on Kokatorimon, who jumped around, clucking in panic as he dodged.
"Let that pervert have it, Togemon!" Mimi yelled at her partner, who ran at Kokatorimon, spinning her arm, getting ready to attack.
"Hey, I'm not a -" Kokatorimon was yelling, before Togemon slugged him in the beak, before she started to lay down a savage beating on the bird Digimon's body.
Before she uppercutted him into the air, the bird Digimon crashed through a window into the Yacht.
"Good job Togemon" Mimi said with a grin at her partner, giving her a thumbs up.
"Please, that guy had a glass jaw," Togemon said with a grin, as she punched the air.
"Ok, let's go find the others and get out of here" Sora said, as she led them down the deck, after their Digimon had turned back to normal.
They soon came up to the room which led to the theater, and before they could enter, the door opened and the others all walked out.
"Sora! I'm glad you're ok" Tai said with a smile at his friend.
"Please, I told you she would be fine. She's part Uzumaki after all" Naruto said with a grin.
"If you were that worried about her, does that mean you l-?" Impmon was asking with a snicker, before he saw Sora glare at him again, with what looked like a demon hovering behind her.
Impmon then hid behind Naruto, who chuckled.
"Mom is so gonna be proud when I tell her you learned to glare like her," Naruto said with a smile at Sora.
"Ok team, let's get out of here" Tai said, as he led everyone out.
"Maybe we should trash the ship before we leave," Matt suggested, as they all walked out to the front of the ship.
"It would be a good idea to take what supplies we can find," Izzy said with a nod.
"Well, we better do that quickly. We're gonna crash into that big cactus" TK said, as he pointed out in the desert, at a massive cactus which was very tall.
"Izzy, Sora, TK digivolve your partners. We need to get off this ship, now!" Tai yelled out, as they were coming up on the cactus at a rapid pace.
"Yeah, I don't wanna have a Titanic experience," Joe said with a nod.
"Ugh, that movie suuuuucked" Naruto groaned out, as he shuddered at the memory.
After Biyomon, Tentomon and Patamon digivolved, they carried the rest of the group off the ship and floated down nearby, before the ship crashed into the cactus which just pushed the ship back, and sent the yacht flying, showing a cord connected to Etemon's Dark Network, that was connected to the hull of the ship
"Etemon must have been tracking us on the ship," Izzy said, as Kabuterimon flew them down to the ground and let them all off, along with Birdramon and Angemon, before they de-digivolved back to normal.
"Wow, that cactus is tough, to not be damaged" Mimi said, as they approached the cactus, which was still standing.
"Uh, Mimi?" Naruto said, pointing at her tag, which was glowing green.
The cactus then sprouted a flower on top of it, and when the flower opened up, inside was a crest with what looked like a raindrop, with a circle at the bottom.
Mimi smiled as the crest shrunk down, and flew down to her, before slotting into her tag.
"Another crest down" Matt said with a smile, along with the others.
"And four more to go," Joe said, with a relieved sigh, glad that they were finding these at a steady pace
"Watch out monkey boy!" Naruto said with a grin.
"Oh, and before I forget" Sora said, before she slapped Naruto on the back of his head.
"OW! What the heck was that for?" Naruto asked, as he rubbed the back of his head.
"That was for making fun of a great movie" Sora said, as she frowned at him, with Mimi giving him a glare.
Naruto grumbled at this as he rubbed his head, while the others laughed, before they all started to walk through the desert again.
(Later)
Everyone was walking through the desert, and they were really tired at this point.
"I swear, I am so sick of the desert," Impmon said with a groan.
"Yea, I'll take anything over this at this point" Naruto said, as he wiped his head with the back of his hand.
Suddenly, the sand in front of them burst and was sent flying, as a very big and familiar bug Digimon roared, as it approached them.
"Kuwagamon?!" Joe yelled in a panic, seeing the bug Digimon.
"You just had to say something, didn't you?" Matt asked Naruto with an annoyed look on his face.
"Hey, if I knew I had that power, I would wish for some ramen and a nice car!" Naruto yelled at Matt.
"Focus! We have a battle!" Tai yelled, before he nodded at Agumon.
"I'm with ya Tai!" Agumon yelled, as he readied himself to digivolve, but before he could.
"Pit Bomb!" a voice yelled, as what looked like a small bomb struck Kuwagamon, causing him to instantly explode into data.
"Ok, that was too easy. Was that you Agumon?" Tai asked in surprise, as he looked at his partner.
"Nope, wasn't me Tai" Agumon said, shaking his head.
"It was me," a voice said, as a small figure approached them.
The Digimon was small and pink, with wings coming out of its back, while carrying what looked like a spear.
"Oh wow, it's Piximon!" Biyomon said with a surprised look on her face.
"Do you know this Digimon?" Izzy asked the Digimon, who all nodded.
"He's known as a great warrior, who has trained all kinds of strong Digimon," Gabumon explained.
"How is this guy a trainer?" Impmon asked, looking at the small Digimon, not believing this.
"What's he gonna do, take us to Neverland?" Naruto asked with a snicker.
Piximon said nothing to this, before he swung his spear, smacking both Naruto and Impmon in the knees.
"Ow! What the hell, you living car ornament?!" Naruto yelled, as he hopped on one leg and held his knee.
"Yea, that's abuse!" Impmon yelled, as he held his own knee in pain.
Piximon looked at the group of kids with a calculating look. "This is the new group of Digidestined? You're not as far along as the last group I trained" he said, as he walked around them.
"Hey, we've got four crests at the moment. How many did they have at this point?" Izzy asked curiously.
"When they met me? They had them all, and the blonde had already reached Ultimate level" Piximon said firmly.
Everyone's eyes widened at this, as they didn't expect this answer.
"So do you know how the crests work?" Sora asked the small Digimon with a kind smile.
"Maybe I do, but are you all worthy of that information?" Piximon asked, as he looked at them.
"If he says the power is inside us, I'm gonna pull off his wings" Naruto grumbled to Impmon.
"Do it! Do it, do it, do it!" Impmon chanted before laughing.
Before Piximon smacked them both again with his spear, this time on the back.
"Seems you all have a smart mouth, just like the last team with that redhead," Piximon said, as he looked at the others.
"Yup, that's Naruto and Impmon" Tai said with a sheepish chuckle.
"Hmmmm. Well, you all were gonna attack Kuwagamon and weren't afraid, so I suppose I could train you all up a bit. Follow me to my home" Piximon said, as he walked away from them.
"Do you have a safe place from Etemon?" Mimi asked curiously, as they followed him.
"Of course I do. That monkey hasn't been able to find me yet, despite his best efforts" Piximon said as he walked.
"Why would the monkey moron want you?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm an Ultimate level Digimon, that could give him a fight, unlike you and your partner, whiskers" Piximon said firmly.
"There has to be more than that," Izzy said with a curious tone.
"Well, he's also been looking for some of the crests, and I know where two of them are," Piximon said nonchalantly.
"Wait, you have two of our crests?" Matt said, surprised at this.
"All in good time. Now, here we are" Piximon said, as he stopped walking.
"There is nothing here," Naruto said with a flat tone.
"Give me a moment whiskers, before I take another swing at ya" Piximon said, before he held out his hands, and suddenly what looked like a portal opened.
Everyone looked inside the opening in space, and saw a massive forest on the other side.
"Ok you lot, everyone in!" Piximon yelled to them, as he let them all walk in first.
"I hope we're not wasting our time with this little puffball," Naruto grumbled, as he walked past Piximon along with Impmon.
Before Piximon smacked him in the ass with his spear, before he followed them, as the open portal closed behind him
(Later)
Everyone was walking through a forest, and soon they saw a massive mansion on top of a mountain before them.
"That's where you live?" Tai asked curiously, impressed with the size of the place.
"Indeed it is," Piximon said, as he floated ahead of them.
"Uh, do we have to walk up all those stairs?" Joe asked with dread in his voice.
"Of course you do. You're here for training, and it starts now. And before you ask, no you can't fly" Piximon said with a pointed look at Tentomon, Biyomon and Patamon.
The three fliers groaned at this, before they all started to walk up the steps, with Piximon flying ahead of them.
"I think I would prefer the desert to this living hell" Naruto grumbled out, as they all walked up the massive flight of stairs.
"I second that," Tai said with his own groan.
"Yea, this is gonna take forever" Mimi whined.
Everyone else grumbled in agreement at this.
"Momentai" a voice said from behind them, making them all turn around and see a Digimon walking up the stairs easily. It looked like a rabbit, with long ears, and was a light green color with green stripes.
"Eee, it's cute!" Mimi yelled, before she scooped up the bunny and hugged it.
"Gah! Let me go lady, only Miko-Chan can hug me!" the Digimon said with a groan.
"Who's the rabbit?" Tai asked Agumon curiously, while it struggled to get loose from Mimi's tight grip.
"That's Terriermon. I heard he's a friend of Renamon's" Agumon said.
"That's me! Now let me go! I see a light!" Terriermon yelled, before he finally got loose and fell to the ground, gasping for breath.
"What are you doing here, little guy?" Sora asked Terriermon, as he shook his head after his fall
"I live with the flying puffball," Terriermon said, as he looked up at Sora curiously.
"Would you like a carrot?" Sora said with a smile, as she took one out of her pocket and held it out to Terriermon.
Terriermon sniffed at it and smiled, before he took it and bit into it. "Ahhh, I haven't had one of these since I last saw Miko-Chan" he said, before he ate the carrot happily.
Sora smiled at the rabbit Digimon, as he ate his carrot.
"Ah, that hit the spot. Now…..who are you all?" Terriermon asked the group with a cocked eyebrow.
"We're the Digidestined," Tai said, gesturing to the group.
Terriermon paused at this, before he chuckled. "Well, it's about time you lot showed up. I'm gonna guess the puffball brought you all here to train you a little, eh?" he asked the group.
"Yea, and he's making us walk up these stairs, and we haven't even eaten yet" Mimi said with a groan, as they all continued to walk up the stairs.
"Like I said, momentai pinky" Terriermon said, as he followed them, before jumping onto Sora's head to hitch a ride with her.
"You got a mouth on you rabbit. It sounds familiar, actually" Impmon said, as he looked up at the rabbit Digimon.
Terriermon looked at Impmon and paused upon seeing him, before he shook his head. "I can't believe you're one of the new partner Digimon" he grumbled to himself.
"Oi! You don't know me, cottontail!" Impmon yelled, getting really annoyed.
"Uh, Mr Terriermon?" TK said, holding up his hand to wave at the rabbit Digimon, getting his attention.
"What do you need squirt?" Terriermon asked curiously.
"What's momentai mean?" TK asked curiously.
"It means chill out," Naruto said nonchalantly, as he walked up the stairs.
"How do you know?" Terriermon asked curiously, raising an eyebrow at Naruto, wondering how he knew that.
"Eh, my mom's best friend always says that to her son," Naruto said as he shrugged.
"Oh yea, I recall hearing Miss Uchiha telling Sasuke that," Sora said as she nodded.
Terriermon's eyes widened hearing this, before he smiled a little. "Heh, so Miko-Chan uses my saying, eh?" he thought happily, as the group walked up to Piximon's mansion.
When they all entered it, they saw very nice hallways and that there was a big courtyard, where Piximon was sitting, waiting for them.
"Ah, I see Terriermon slowed you lot down," Piximon said, as he flew over to them.
"Not really. He told us to chill out, and just keep walking" Matt said as he shrugged.
"That, and I was seeing if they were worthy," Terriermon said as he jumped off Sora's head, and floated over to Piximon, using his ears as a parachute.
"Worthy? What do you mean?" Izzy asked curiously.
"All in good time. Now, while I'm making dinner, you lot are gonna clean up my place" Piximon said with a grin, as he held his arms out, emphasizing the big court area and the hallways
"Wait, as in the outside and the inside?" Mimi asked in shock.
"Yup, yup! Now get to work" Piximon said, as he gestured to some cleaning supplies nearby.
This got groans from everyone, as they all went to get the supplies.
"Well, it's no worse than working at my moms restaurant" Naruto grumbled out, as he grabbed a washcloth, and tossed one to Impmon.
"Yea. Plus, here you don't have to worry about Auntie Kushina throwing cooking utensils at you" Sora said with a smile at Naruto, as she took a mop as they all got to work.
Piximon didn't react to this, while Terriermon snorted and started to snicker to himself.
"I should have known the blonde was her brat" Piximon thought to himself, as he thought back to when he trained the last Digidestined team, and how much Kushina pushed his patience to the limit.
(Later)
Everyone was just getting done cleaning, and were panting for breath, exhausted from all the work.
"I can't feel my arms" Joe groaned out, as he laid on the ground.
"Me neither" Gomamon groaned out, as he laid next to Joe.
"I can't feel my everything" Tentomon groaned, as he laid on the ground next to Izzy, who was sitting against the wall.
"Wow, you lot actually did a good job," Piximon said, as he flew over to them.
"Some of us know how to do manual labor. But how does this help us get stronger?" Naruto asked with an annoyed tone.
"I'm sure he has his reasons and it will help us somehow" Sora said.
"Actually, I have been needing to clean up for a while, and I figured I may as well have you all do it, since I'm feeding you all tonight" Piximon said with a grin.
This got groans of annoyance from everyone, while Sora's eyebrow was twitching. She then stood up and twirled her mop like a bow staff, before she took a swing at Piximon, which he easily dodged.
"Hey, hey! Dinner is ready, but if you don't knock it off you'll get nothing!" Piximon yelled, as he kept avoiding Sora's attacks.
"It depends what we're having," Naruto said with a grin along with Impmon, who was watching this with him with his own grin.
"Rice, vegetables, some kustudon and some ramen -" Piximon was listing, before he was cut off.
"Ok, drop it cuz. He made a feast, so he gets a freebie" Naruto said with an excited grin, as some of the Digimon and humans drooled at the idea of food.
Sora tisked at this, before she lowered her mop.
"Sora, where did you learn how to do that?" Tai asked her with wide eyes.
Sora chuckled sheepishly at this, seeing Tai's impressed look. "Um, Auntie Kushina taught me," she said.
"Don't tell her mom" Naruto said with a sigh, as he shook his head.
"Why not?" TK asked curiously, as they all followed Piximon into the dining area
"Um, let's just say my mom and her mom don't get along. And if she found out my mom was teaching her to be a lowly thug like her, she would lose it" Naruto said. as he patted TK on the head.
"I would rather be like Auntie then like her" Sora grumbled as they walked
"What does your mum do, exactly?" Matt asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"She runs a flower shop, and has been trying to push me into helping her more at the shop," Sora said with an annoyed tone.
Naruto winced at this, as he remembered several arguments his mom has had in the last few months with Sora's mom.
Everyone walked into a dining area, and saw a complete spread of food on a massive table, with Piximon and Terriermon sitting at the table.
"Finally! Food!" Joe yelled happily, as he and Gomamon ran to the table.
Everyone followed him and after choosing their dishes, they all started to eat.
After a few minutes of eating, Naruto looked at Piximon. "So now that we're more relaxed, what do you know about the crests?" he asked Piximon.
"And why does Etemon want them?" Mimi asked.
"It's obvious why, if you think about it," Piximon said firmly, not wanting to give them the answer.
"Hmmmmm. Most likely it's so we don't get them. Fighting us would be easier if we can't digivolve to the next level" Izzy said, thinking about it and what made the most sense.
"Great, more dirty tricks" Matt said with a frown, remembering that Etemon had drained their power to digivolve before.
"Yea, banana breath is one to play dirty. So if one of you do digivolve to Ultimate, don't hesitate to take him down" Terriermon said, looking up from his bowl of rice.
"And how do we do that, without turning our partner into a monster?" Joe asked with a shudder at the memory of SkullGreymon.
"Ah, one of you dark digivolved, eh?" Terriermon asked, looking at the group of digimon with a knowing look.
Agumon frowned at this, and raised his claw.
"Don't feel bad Agumon. It's not your fault…..it's his" Piximon said pointing at Tai with his spear, making the boy frown.
"Yea, we figured that puff ball, so watch it" Naruto said with an annoyed tone, as Tai had already apologized and knew he messed up.
Piximon looked Tai in the eyes, and after a few moments he nodded. "Very well. I can see you are telling the truth, which means I can tell you about the crests" he said, as he raised his spear, and made some holographic images of the crests appear in the air above the table.
Everyone looked at the images, and watched as four of the images lit up, those four being the crests they already had.
"Now, these crests are meant to be powered by your best traits, which are different for each of you," Piximon said, as he floated in the air.
"And what does each of them represent?" Izzy asked, fascinated with this information.
Piximon pointed at Tai's crest with his spear. "Yours is the crest of courage," he said.
Tai looked at his crest at this and smiled a little, feeling ok with this.
"Ah, I get it. Because your courage was foolish and power hungry, that caused Agumon's digivolution went dark" Naruto said with a nod, getting it.
Piximon then pointed at Naruto's. "Yours is the crest of kindness" he told him.
"Aw man, I'm powered by being a sap?" Impmon asked with a groan.
This got some laughs from the others, while Naruto grumbled at this.
"I think it fits him perfectly," Mimi said with a smile at Naruto, who paused and smiled back at her.
Piximon moved his spear to Joe's crest. "You have the crest of reliability," he said.
"No surprise there" Matt said with a chuckle, as he shook his head.
"Yea, when in this group, Joe's the dad and is always worried about the group" Tai said with a grin of his own.
Joe chuckled sheepishly, and rubbed the back of his head at this.
"So, who's the mom then?" Naruto asked with a smile.
"Sora" everyone but Naruto said, without hesitation.
Piximon then turned to Mimi. "And you have the crest of sincerity" he told her.
"No surprise there either," Naruto said with a chuckle, as Mimi was always honest and spoke her mind.
"Oh, I don't know. She does keep some things to herself" Sora said with a teasing grin at Mimi.
Mimi blushed a little at this, before she looked at Piximon in a panic. "Um, what about the rest of the group?" she asked.
"I don't know who gets the others, but I can tell you what each one is" Piximon said, willing to tell them the rest
"Oh, yes please, Mr Piximon" TK said with a nod.
"They are friendship, knowledge, hope and love," Piximon said with a smile as he pointed out each holographic symbol
"Izzy so gets knowledge" Tai said with a chuckle.
"Yea, he's a shoo in for that" Naruto said with a nod.
"I hope we can find the rest of them soon" TK said, as he looked at some of the remaining crests.
"Well, if you lot were paying attention, you would have noticed two of your tags are glowing," Terriermon said, pointing at Matt and Izzy, who's tags were indeed glowing.
"Two for one? Oh, banana boy is gonna be so mad" Naruto said with a chuckle.
"We should get moving, and find them right away," Tai said, getting up, ready to go.
"Wait a minute, there are two more crest symbols. What's the deal?" Naruto asked, pointing out two darkened hologram images.
Piximon waved his spear at this, making the holograms fade. "Those are not important to you lot now. If you wish to find the crests, you should ask Terriermon" he said, looking at the rabbit Digimon.
"Wait, you know where they are?" Matt asked curiously.
"Yup. The old man had asked me to hide them, after the last group of Digidestined went home" Terriermon said with a smug grin.
"Where'd you hide them, in a flower patch for Easter?" Naruto asked with a chuckle.
Terriermon face planted at this, making the group laugh.
"This is how you ask me to show you?!" Terriermon yelled in annoyance, as he got up.
"Now now, momentai right?" Naruto asked, waving his hands to try and calm him.
"Don't you use my words against me, whiskers!" Terriermon yelled out in annoyance.
Sora approached Terriermon and held out a carrot to him. "Would you show us for this?" she asked with a grin.
Terriermon paused at this, as his nose twitched before he huffed and looked away. "I am not easy to bribe. I have some pride!" he yelled.
"How about four of them?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow, as she took out three more carrots, and dropped them in front of Terriermon.
"…and I just sold out," Terriermon said, as he grabbed the carrots and nuzzled them, making the group laugh.
"Ah, his first sell out. I'm so proud" Piximon said with a sarcastic tone, as he wiped away a fake tear.
"Ok Terriermon, where are the crests?" Biyomon asked curiously.
"They are out here" Terriermon said, as he led the way to the courtyard outside, and walked towards the Koi pond.
As the group followed, Matt and Izzy's tags glowed even more, causing the koi pond to glow and what looked like two symbols float out of the water, before they flew at their tags.
Matt looked at his tag and smiled. "Looks like I'm friendship," he said, giving Gabumon a thumbs up.
"And it looks like your hunch was right on my crest" Izzy said, showing it was the crest of knowledge.
"Which leaves love and hope" Tai said, giving them a thumbs up.
"Which do you think you'll get Sora?" TK asked her curiously.
"That's easy, it's love," Naruto said with a shake of his head.
"Yea, hope so fits you and the angel here" Impmon said, jerking a thumb at TK and Patamon.
Sora said nothing to this, but frowned as she was left to her thoughts.
Before anyone else could say anything, they heard a booming roar, which made the area shake.
"What's going on?" Joe asked in a panic, as he fell to his knees.
Piximon waved his spear, and showed them a holographic image of what looked like a red dinosaur. "It looks like Etemon found my home and sent his minion Tyrannomon to attack," he said with a frown.
"Just one?" Tai asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Is the monkey confident or stupid?" Naruto asked Impmon.
"I'm gonna say…..stupid" Impmon said with a shrug.
"Well, we may as well show him we're not that easy to bully," Matt said, looking at the image of Tyrannomon, as he made his way to the mansion.
"Ok, let's go show him our funeral services," Naruto said with a grin at Impmon, before him and his partner headed for the door.
"Hey, wait for me. Me and Agumon were denied a rematch with Kuwagamon" Tai said, running after them.
"You guys need help?" Sora asked curiously.
"Please, we have this cuz" Naruto said with a confident grin.
"Yea, you lot get ready to leave once we deal with him" Tai said with his own grin.
Terriermon chuckled at this, as he followed them to watch the fight, along with Piximon.
Tai, Naruto and their partner Digimon walked down the steps, and spotted Tyrannomon stomping his way towards them.
"Only warning big man," Naruto said, as he took out his digivice.
"Yea, walk away and you won't get hurt" Tai said, as he agreed with giving the opponent a chance
Tyrannomon roared at them at this, not willing to back down.
Tai and Naruto nodded at this, and held out their digivices towards their partners.
"Agumon Digivolve to…..Greymon!"
"Impmon digivolve to…Wizardmon!
Wizardmon and Greymon charged at Tyrannomon, the two T-Rex digimon smashed their heads against each other, barring their teeth before both swung their tails at each other clashing. Wizardmon jumped into the air, swiping his staff, firing off a barrage of fire upon Tyrannomon, who swiped it away roaring.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon roared, unleashing his attack on Tyrannomon, blasting him back.
"Fire Breath!" Tyrannomon roared, unleashing a strong stream of flames upon Greymon and Wizardmon. The magic digimon jumps in the way, twirling his staff to block out the flames.
"Dino Rush!" he roared, rushing forward smashing Wizardmon into Greymon, smashing them through several trees. Greymon jabbed his claws into the ground to steady himself, going down biting down onto Tyrannomon's shoulder, causing him to cry out in pain.
"This guy's tough," Greymon said, as he stood up, ready to try again.
"Yeah. You up for a little combo action?" Wizardmon asked, looking up at the orange dino, who nodded as they then charged at Tyrannomon.
"Magic Thunder!" Wizardmon shouted, thrusting down his staff, unleashing a blast of electricity upon the red dino, causing it to cry out in pain, as it slowly stepped back.
"Great Horn Attack!" Greymon roared, charging forward and using his horns to get under him, and throwing Tyrannomon up into the air.
"Finish him!" Tai and Naruto yelled, pumping their fists at this.
The two champion digimon nodded, unleashing a combination of red flames and magical energy, engulfing Tyrannomon as he was consumed by the attack, crying out in pain, before he slammed outside of the forest and into the desert.
When the dust cleared, they saw that Tyrannomon was gone.
"Great job you two!" Tai said with a grin at the two Digimon, who changed back to normal, as they returned to them.
"Yeah, very good teamwork," Naruto said, giving Impmon a thumbs up, who gave one in return.
"That didn't take you long at all" Sora called out, getting their attention and making them turn to see the rest of the group walking down the stairs to meet up with them.
"Please, I told you we had this cuz" Naruto said with a grin.
"Yea. That dino fought dirty, but he had a glass jaw" Impmon said with a smug grin.
"Stay humble gremlin," Palmon said with a sigh at her fellow Digimon.
"Ok, let's all get outta here, before Etemon sends more of his goons after us" Matt said, pointing at the entrance to the forest.
"Oh goodie, more desert" Mimi said with a frown, as they all started to walk.
"Just two more crests to go, then we can go curb stomp banana breath" Naruto said with a determined grin.
As they left, they were being watched by Piximon and Terriermon from his mansion.
"Heh, those kids and their Digimon are not too shabby, despite the fact they are missing two members" Terriermon said with a chuckle.
"I'm sure that Gennai has a plan to find them. Speaking of which, now that the crests you were hiding in my house are claimed" Piximon said, as he waved his spear and a portal opened behind them.
"Oh, finally! I can see Mikoto again!" Terriermon said with a big smile, as he ran through the portal, which closed behind him.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were sat in their office, when the door was opened by You-Know-Who
