It had been a day since the group had left Piximon's home, and now the group were walking towards a valley of cliffs, which they felt would give them cover, rather than stay in the desert and get spotted by Etamon or one of his goons.
As they entered the rocky area, Izzy's laptop started to beep and buzz
"Did you set an alarm or something on your laptop?" Mimi asked curiously.
"It means I have an email" Izzy said, as he took his laptop off his back and opened it.
"How, there's no reception here?" Naruto asked him.
"Digital world, cuz" Sora said with a shrug.
Izzy said nothing to this, as he looked at his laptop. "It's a message" he said, as he opened it.
":Hello Digidestined. I need your help! I am a prisoner of Etemon's! If you help me, I'll help you find one of your crests. There is a map attached to this email:" the email read.
"Can we trust this email?" Matt asked, as he crossed his arms with a frown.
"Yea, it could be a trap of some kind" Sora said with a nod of agreement.
"Well, we don't have a lot of options. Plus, we need to find the last two crests, before we can fight Etemon" Tai said, knowing if they wanted a chance for one of them to reach the next level, they should have all of the crests.
"Ok, let's get moving then. Lead the way Izzy" Naruto said, as Izzy had the map that the email had.
Izzy nodded at this, and looked at the map. "We're in luck. This map will lead us into where we were already going" he said, as they all started walking again into the valley.
As they walked, suddenly TK's tag started to glow yellow, making him smile.
"Lead the way, squirt" Naruto said with a chuckle, knowing TK wanted to run ahead to go find his crest.
TK took off running, holding out his tag, so it could lead the way, while Patamon flew after him.
"Don't go alone TK!" Matt yelled, as he and the others ran after him.
"Relax Matt, we're right here with him," Naruto said, as they ran.
"Mind your own business" Matt said with a glare at Naruto.
Before Naruto could respond, they all spotted TK and Patamon in front of a rock wall, which had a craving that looked like a sun, with a beam of lighting shining down.
"Knew the creampuff was Hope" Impmon said, as they all ran over to TK.
TK held out his tag to the wall, which caused the carving to shrink down, and fly into his tag, before it stopped glowing.
"Alright! Does this mean my bedtime can be later?" TK asked Matt curiously with a smile.
Matt shook his head at this, as he chuckled at his little brother.
"Hey, the crest was blocking a tunnel" Joe said, as he pointed at the now open tunnel.
"Kinda like when we found Tai's crest" Sora said, as they all looked at the tunnel.
"This works out for us. The map is leading us wherever this tunnel leads" Izzy said, as he looked at his laptop.
"Well, that's convenient" Tentomon said, as he hovered next to Izzy
"So, that's another crest down and only one left," Naruto said, as he looked at Sora, who was the only one without a crest.
"Which this guy we're looking to rescue properly has" Sora said.
"Well, let's get moving," Tai said, leading the way into the tunnel.
As they walked, Izzy was looking at the walls curiously, as they had some markings, which looked familiar to him.
"What's up Izzy?" Naruto asked curiously.
"It's these markings on the walls. I feel like I've seen them somewhere before" Izzy said.
"It reminds me of those markings back at Andromon's factory," Tentomon said, as he looked at the wall.
"That's it! These markings are the exact same!" Izzy said, as he approached the wall to look at them.
"Impmon, give him a light" Naruto said, knowing Izzy would need a light to get a better look at the markings.
Impmon nodded at this, and made some fire in his hands, so that Izzy could get a better look.
"Ah ha!" Izzy said, as he rubbed one of the marks away with his hand, which caused the tunnel to light up, as if a light switch was turned on.
"Not bad Izzy" Tai said with a smile, glad that the way was now lit for them.
"Yea, but the tunnel looks endless now" Joe said with a frown, as they all looked down the seemingly endless tunnel.
"Hold on, let me take a look at these markings" Izzy said, as he looked at the wall and his laptop for a few moments, before he rubbed another mark, which caused the tunnel to suddenly have an exit just a few feet away.
"Ok, that's cool I gotta admit" Matt said, as they all approached the exit.
When they reached the exit, they all saw nothing but desert.
"Oh great, more sand" Gomamom said with a sarcastic groan, as he rolled his eyes.
"Not exactly, look," Naruto said, as he pointed to the right of the exit, at what looked like an upside-down pyramid, which was sticking out of the desert, which was surrounded by what looked like a small army of Monochromon, Tyranomon and Gazimon.
"Woah, looks like the Egyptians here tried to build it the other way round" Tai said, as he whistled, impressed at this.
"Well, it explains why this exit is a Sphinx," Matt said, looking around.
"Well, according to the message of our mystery ally, this is Etemon's base and he's being kept in the basement" Izzy said, as he looked at his laptop.
"So, how do we get past giant evil dinosaurs and small hedgehogs?" Biyomon asked.
"Hmmmm. I'm thinking we split up into teams" Naruto said, as they all went back to the tunnel, so they were out of sight.
"Do you have an idea?" Tai asked, as he knew Naruto had a strategic mind, which helped him with his pranks back home.
Naruto nodded at this, as everyone gathered around.
"I'm thinking we have one team attack monkey boys base and his goons, getting their attention, so another team can sneak in, and find this guy who needs rescuing" Naruto said.
"So, who goes on what team?" Joe asked curiously.
"I'll lead the attacking team," Naruto said, as he held up his hand.
"While I'll lead the team that goes in, and I'll take Sora and Izzy with me, leaving the rest of us with you to back you up" Tai said, nodding at this.
"Sounds good. But if you're gonna stay here, we need everyone here to fight, just in case monkey boy shows up" Joe said, knowing against this opponent they needed as much help as they could get.
"Not TK" Matt said firmly, not wanting his little brother involved in this fight.
"Awwww. Come on Matt. I'm part of the team too!" TK yelled out, annoyed at this.
"Plus, Angemon is powerful against types like Etamon, right?" Mimi asked curiously.
"Stay out of this!" Matt yelled out, annoyed at this.
"Hey, that's uncalled for Matt" Sora said with an annoyed look.
"I don't need advice about keeping my little brother safe" Matt said with a snorted look on his face.
"Keep it up friendship boy" Naruto said with an annoyed look of his own, as he scowled.
"You're one to talk! Do you think putting us in danger is kind?" Matt yelled, getting in Naruto's face.
"Ok, two things; one: I at least believe in the group enough to trust them to do their part. And two: get out of my face, or it's gonna cost you" Naruto said with a glare, as he flexed his hand, cracking his knuckles.
Sora paled slightly at this, before she quickly moved to get in between the boys. "Ok, that's enough!" she yelled, as she pushed them away from each other.
"Yea, we don't need Naruto putting Matt in the hospital" Tai said with a nod, as he too had recognized what Naruto was gonna do, if Matt didn't back off.
"Look Matt, don't worry. We can keep an eye on TK. Plus, you're here too, so just trust us" Mimi said, trying to keep the peace and put Matt at ease.
Matt went to say something, but stopped when TK tugged on his shirt to get his attention.
"Big bro, I was chosen just like the rest of you, and I'm needed, just like the rest of you. So let me help" TK said with a determined look on his face.
"Well said squirt" Naruto said with a grin, and thumbs up at TK.
"You don't need to worry Matt. We're all here to watch out for him" Gabumom said, trying to comfort his partner.
Matt thought about this, and after a few moments he nodded. "Okay, fine. But you stay near me" he said to TK, who nodded in agreement.
"Ok, now that's settled, here Naruto, so that both teams can stay in contact" Izzy said, as he handed Naruto an ear piece.
Naruto nodded in thanks, as he put the earpiece in his ear and turned to his team. "Ok everyone, let's do this. Everyone digivolve, and on my mark, attack monkey boys base and his army" he said, as he jumped down to the desert below, with Impmon close behind him.
"You expect us to jump down?" Joe asked, surprised at this, as Naruto and Impmon landed in the sand.
"Palmon, can you make a way down for us please?" Mimi asked her partner, nodded and used her Poison Ivy to make a way down for everyone else.
"Spoil sport!" Impmon yelled up at Palmon, who merely rolled her eyes, as everyone climbed down her vines
"Ah!" Mimi yelled, as she lost her grip on Palmon's vines and fell.
Naruto instantly ran under her and held out his arms, and caught Mimi in his arms.
"T-thanks Naruto" Mimi said, catching her breath from that small scare.
"No problem Mimi," Naruto said with a smile at her.
"Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss" Impmon chanted with a grin.
This caused Mimi to go red and eep at this, as Naruto put her down, while Naruto scowled at Impmon.
"Stop being a moron, and let's do this" Naruto said, as he held out his digivice.
"Ok. I'll grill you about your love life later" Impmon said with a snicker, before Palmon slapped him on the back of the head, after everyone was down.
After all of the Digimon on Naruto's team had digivolved, they all waited as Tai's team of him, Izzy and Sora took their position in the back of the pyramid.
"I hope that the map Izzy got from that message is legit," Matt said, as they watched their friends take position behind a sand mound, before Tai gave Naruto a thumbs up.
"So, who wants to knock first?" Naruto asked with a smile.
"Well, if we're gonna do this, may as well do it right. Ikkakumon, rain down missile fire on his base!" Joe yelled, as he pointed at Etemon's base
Ikkakumon smiled at this, before he started to launch torpedo after torpedo at the base, hitting it and leaving holes in the base.
This caused the army of Monochromon, Tyranomon and Gazimon to panic and look around for the attackers.
"Wow, monkey boy chose the stupid ones for his goons. They can't even locate the enemy" Naruto said, as he shook his head at this.
"No wonder he needs to use his Dark Network to track us," Matt said, as he and Garurumon stood at the ready.
"Hmmm, Dark Network…." Naruto mused, as he looked at the base, and noticed what looked like black cords connected to the base of the pyramid. "Ah ha!" he yelled, as he snapped his fingers and smiled.
"Oh jeez, that look is never good" Togemon said, as she knew this was gonna be an idea that would make Etemon mad.
"Hush flower child. What's the plan partner?" Wizardmon asked with a grin as he spun his staff
"Everyone, attack the base of the pyramid where the Dark Network cables are all connected. That will make monkey boy completely blind!" Naruto said, as he pointed at said area.
"So, your plan is to destroy his Dark Network cables, and make him really mad?" Matt asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yup, pretty much" Naruto said with a smile.
Everyone was silent at this, before….
"I like this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it! Let's do it!" Wizardmon yelled, as he flew off to go take aim at where all the Dark Network cables met the pyramid.
"This is so gonna go bad," Togemon said, as she ran after Wizardmon, with Ikkakumon, Garurumon and Angemon behind her.
"Magical Game!" Wizardmon yelled, as he aimed his staff and fired his attack at the cables.
"Needle Spray!" Togemon yelled, as she spun in place, firing her attack.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon yelled, as he fired his blast.
"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikakumon yelled, as he fired several torpedoes.
"Hand of Fate!" Angemon yelled, as he fired his holy attack at the cables, along with his friends.
The attacks all struck there mark, and after a few moments, the attacks set off a bunch of explosions underneath Etemon's army, thanks to the cables underneath them overloading.
Meanwhile nearby Tai, Izzy and Sora had looks of shock at this, along with their Digimon.
"...well, I think that will definitely get Etemon's attention" Izzy ssid, as more explosions went off.
"Let's get in now while their attention is on Naruto" Tai said, as he led the way to the side of the pyramid.
"I just hope that he can keep this up" Izzy said, as he looked at his map, so he could find the secret entrance, which he found after touching the wall.
"Come on monkey boy! This the best you've got?!" Wizardmon was heard yelling, before he laughed madly.
"Yea, I'm still not impressed, you wannabe rock star!" Naruto yelled, as he laughed along with his Digimon.
"…..something tells me that Etemon will be plenty distracted" Sora said with a sweatdrop, as they all went through the secret entrance.
(Back with Naruto)
The group watched as the explosions finally stopped, and they saw that most of Etemon's army were gone, save for a few hurt Gazimon, Monochromon and Tyrannomon. The champion Digimon were making a break for it, seeing as most of those fellow Digimon were defeated, and they didn't want to tempt fate.
"You cowards! Lord Etemon will make you pay for deserting!" one of the Gazimon yelled after them, as they left.
"The real coward is your boss!" TK yelled at the Gazimon.
"Yea, he let his army fight for him and look at him now. A trashed base, and what little of his army he has left are leaving" Naruto said with a smirk.
As he said this, the front of the base exploded, and a figure jumped out of the base and landed behind them.
"So you think I need an army to fight? Thenlet's test that theory. Uh huh huh uh huh huh" Etemon said, as he approached them out of the sand cloud he made from his landing.
Everyone started to sweat at this, as they didn't expect Etemon to actually come out of his base.
"Stay strong guys, we can take him. Remember, the crests are based on our best traits. We just need to stay true to them" Naruto said with a determined look on his face.
Everyone looked down at their crests, before they all gained determined looks of their own.
"Right! Tear him apart, Garurumon!" Matt yelled at his partner, who pounced at Etemon.
"Hey, get lost, little doggy!" Etemon said, as he easily lifted the wolf Digimon off him, and sent him flying.
"Needle Spray!" Togemon yelled, as she fired her needles at him, but Etemon easily swatted them away with his hands.
"Is that the best you got? I have seen sharper needles in my granny's needle bag!" Etemon yelled with a laugh, before he backhanded Ikkakumon, who tried to tackle him.
"And now that image is in my head. Thanks banana breath" Naruto said with a wince at the image of an old lady version of Etemon.
"I'm getting sick of your mouth, you brat! I'll crush you first!" Etemon yelled, as he walked towards Naruto.
"Crush this, monkey boy!" Wizardmon yelled, as he flew at Etemon and fired his Magical Game at him.
"Ha! You think a frontal attack will work, magic boy?" Etemon laughed, as he easily caught the attack in his hands.
"How about a back attack? Hand of Fate!" Angemon yelled, as he fired his attack at Etemon's back, making him yell in pain.
"Hey, I thought that angels were supposed to be nice and kind hearted," Etemon said.
"And I thought monkeys were normally flinging poo. I guess we're all being disappointed today" Angemon said with a smirk, as he swung his staff at Etemon, but he caught it in his hand.
"Ha ha ha, you got jokes, eh? Dark Network!" Etemon yelled, as he made a dark green sphere in his hand, and threw it at Angemon, sending him flying towards TK, and when he landed in the sand in a flash of light, he de-digivolved back to Patamon.
"Patamon!" TK yelled, as he ran to his friend.
"Ha, this is who beat Devimon? He's probably gonna flip once I take you out for good runt" Etemon said with a smirk, as he approached TK and Patamon.
Before a rock hit him in the side of the head.
Etemon then turned to glare at Naruto, who had another rock in his hand.
"Eyes on me, monkey boy. It's no fun to fight someone who's scared of you, right?" Naruto asked with a grin at Etemon, as he made a come here motion with his hand.
"And what do you get out of me fighting you, instead of the runt?" Etemon asked, as he stomped towards Naruto.
"Naruto, get out of there!" Mimi yelled in a panic, as Togemon jumped at Etemon, trying to stop him. But the monkey Digimon just slugged her in the chin, sending her flying.
"You wanna know why I'm distracting you? Easy, I like being nice to kids and taking the pressure off them if I can" Naruto said with a grin, as his crest started to glow violet.
"NO! I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO BECOME STRONGER!" Etemon yelled out, as he charged at Naruto.
"Too late monkey boy!" Wizardmon yelled with a grin, as he was engulfed in a bright light.
"Wizardmon Digivolve to...!" Wizardmon stood within a cathedral, as several white feathers were falling around him. His eyes flash red, as his body begins to glow white, as he grows taller and his hair longer, while a white robe wrapped around his body, forming his clothing as his tattered cape falls towards the ground. Wizardmon snatched the cape, wrapping it around his shoulders, as he held what looked like a Dǎshénbiān, or a spiritual whip, which he cracked on the ground before resting it against his shoulder.
"Baalmon!" the new Digimon yelled, as he floated above them.
"Wow" Togemon said, as she got up and to her feet.
"Wow, he looks so cool" TK said, as he hid behind Matt, while carrying Patamon.
Etemon growled at this, as he looked up at the fully evolved Digimon.
"Ok monkey boy, let's finish this!" Naruto yelled, as he held his now violet digivice, along with his glowing crest.
Baalmon smirked at this, ready to fight.
"Kamiuchi!" he yelled, as he cracked his holy whip, which glowed, before it instantly smacked Etemon in the chest, sending him flying.
"Cool! A light whip!" TK yelled as he smiled.
"He's so copying from Star Wars," Matt said, as he crossed his arms.
"Hey, when did his Digivice change color?" Mimi asked, just noticing what happened to it.
"It must be what happens when your crest activates" Joe said, rubbing his chin in thought.
Etemon growled, as he got up and glared at Baalmon. "You think you're tough, eh? Well, there is only one star here!" Etemon yelled, as he charged at Baalmon and attacked him.
As the two ultimate Digimon fought, Naruto felt his earpiece buzzing, which he tapped to answer it. "What's up?" he asked.
{"Naruto! We have a problem!"} Izzy yelled over the earpiece.
"What's wrong? Don't tell me this guy turned on you, once you freed him" Naruto said, as he scowled.
{"It was someone named Datamon, and he took Sora and Biyomon then flew off with her!"} Izzy yelled out.
Naruto growled at this, as he really didn't like his cousin being taken. "We're on our way" he said, before he turned to Baalmon. "Change of plans! We need to go help the others!" he yelled at his partner.
"Aww, but I'm having so much fun beating up the monkey king of rock and roll!" Baalmon said with a mocking tone, as he backed away from Etemon.
"Some jerk took Sora, and is still in the base!" Naruto yelled at Baalmon.
Baalmon nodded at this, as he knew Naruto wanted to save his cousin first. "Sorry monkey man, but we're gonna have to dance some other time" he said, before he flew at Naruto and grabbed him, as he flew off towards the pyramid.
"Damn, that guy who emailed Izzy must have turned on them once they freed him," Matt said with a scowl.
"Huh? Datamom tricked ya, eh? How dumb are you kids?" Etemon said with a laugh.
"Hey! He said that he had info on one of the crests" Mimi yelled out.
"And he led us to your base too," Joe said with a nod.
"That little nerd has a crest and he led you all to my base?! That's it, I'm gonna scrap him once and for all!" Etemon yelled, as he ran off towards his base.
(With Sora)
Sora was strapped to a medical table, as a machine was slowly scanning her, and making what looked like a copy of her on another table across from her.
On a wall nearby, Biyomon was strapped against the wall with manicals.
And near a big computer screen, was what looked like a robot, that had a glass dome on the top of its head. This was Datamon
"Gah. It looks like one of your friends has digivolved to the Ultimate level, and is heading here instead of fighting Etemon. What a fool" Datamon said, sounding annoyed, as an image was shown of Baalmon flying towards the base while carrying Naruto.
"Well yea, you kidnapped his cousin" Biyomon said, sounding annoyed over the fact that Datamom got the jump on her, and captured her and Sora.
"It's no matter. Once I have a copy of one of you digidestined, I can use your crest and digivice to finish off Etemon myself" Datamon said, as he approached a table, where he had Sora's digivice and her tag, which now had a red crest with a symbol of a heart on it.
"Uh, but the crest won't work on you. It'll only work on Biyomon" Sora said in confusion.
"I mean, I will have my copy of you use the digivice and crest on your partner, you fool" Datamon said with an annoyed tone, as though speaking to a simpleton.
"You think I will obey a copy? Ha!" Biyomon said, before she laughed at this.
"You will do it, or your friend here will suffer for your arrogance!" Datamon yelled at Biyomon.
Before Biyomon or Sora could respond, the wall caved in and Baalmon flew in and landed on the ground, and put Naruto down.
"Knock knock" Baalmon said with a grin, as the amulets he had on him turned into blades and flew at Datamon.
They struck Datamon and sent him to the ground.
"Gah. You may be fully evolved, but you won't beat me alone!" Datamon yelled.
Suddenly, another wall exploded and Greymon barged into the room with Tai close behind him.
"He's not alone, you bag of bolts!" Tai yelled, as he walked into the room, his crest glowing orange.
"You may have your crest glowing, but we beat you goggles" Baalmon said with a smirk.
"Focus!" Naruto yelled, as he ran to Sora's digivice, tag and crest and grabbed them, before he ran to Sora.
"Not so fast!" Datamon yelled, as he tapped a button on his wrist.
This allowed the floor under Sora to open, and caused her to fall and scream.
"I got you!" Naruto yelled, as he grabbed Sora's hand with his hand and held onto her. And as he held her hand, he saw what was in the bottom of the hole.
It was what looked like a bunch of living wires, which were pulsing as if they were alive.
"What the hell is that?!" Tai yelled out, as he looked into the hole.
"That is the core of Etemon's Dark Network. If you fall into it, you will be consumed by it, you fools" Datamon said, as he aimed his fingers at Naruto and Sora, which had what looked like living viruses poking out of his fingers, ready to fire at Naruto.
"Not so fast, tinman!" Baalmon yelled, as he attacked Datamon, tackling him away from the hole.
This caused Datamon to fire his viruses, which went into the hole and struck the Dark Network, and caused it to start to pulse and start to grow.
"You fools! Now it will grow and consume us all!" Datamon yelled, as Baalmon threw him against a wall.
"We need to get out of here!" Tai yelled, as the base started to shake.
Naruto nodded at this, as he looked at Sora and pulled her up and out of the hole.
"Thanks for the save cuz" Sora said, as she hugged Naruto.
"No problem. Here, I believe these belong to you" Naruto said, as he handed her her digivice and crest.
"Thanks. Now let's get out of here" Sora said as she nodded and held her digivice out, which glowed.
"Biyomon digivolve to…..Birdramon!
"Ok, let's get outta here!" Tai yelled, ready to get out of Etemon's base.
But suddenly, the wall behind them exploded, and Etemon walked into the room.
"Me and you have unfinished business, whiskers!" Etemon yelled, as he pointed at Naruto.
"Little busy here, you hack!" Naruto yelled out in annoyance.
"Yea, we need to get out of here!" Tai yelled, as he nodded at Greymon who nodded back, and swung around and smacked Etemon with his tail, sending him into the hole and into the Dark Network.
"Hey! This isn't fair! Get me out of here!" Etemon yelled, as he fell into his Dark Network, which started to merge with him.
Birdramon flew down and let Sora, Naruto and Tai on her legs, before she flew out of the hole in the base, with Greymon close behind her.
"Wrap things up with tin man!" Naruto yelled at Baalmon, as Birdramon carried them out of the Base.
"You got it!" Baalmon yelled, as he pulled out his whip and swung it at Datamon, and instantly slashed him in half, making him burst into data, before he flew after the others.
(Outside)
The rest of the Digidestined were outside the base, waiting for Naruto to return with the others, since Izzy went outside to meet up with the others after Tai went after Sora.
"I don't like that he went off on his own" Mimi said with a frown, as she was really worried about Naruto.
"He will be fine. Baalmon has his back afterall" Togemon said.
"You keep worrying about him, and you will end up with wrinkles," Ikkakumon said with a chuckle.
Before Mimi could respond to this, she spotted Birdramon and Baalmon flying towards them, with Greymon close behind.
"Hey guys, have you been waiting long?" Naruto asked, as Birdramon landed in front of the others.
"Sora, you're ok" Izzy said, as he nodded at her, glad they were able to save her
Sora smiled at this, as she nodded. "Yeah. That stupid tin robot planned to make a clone of me, so that he could have Biyomon digivolve and destroy Etemon" she said, as she scowled.
"That's stupid. The crest only reacts to you" Tai said, as he shook his head at this.
"Did you deal with Etemon?" Matt asked them curiously.
Before they could respond, the base behind them exploded and what looked like Etemon's Dark Network floated out of the base, and on top of it, Etemon was sticking out of the top with a grin, as he spotted them.
"You thought you could beat me that easily?" Etemon asked with a grin.
"Uh….does that answer your question?" Tai asked nervously.
"Damn it, will you take the hint, you jackass?!" Naruto yelled at Etemon with a glare, as he was at his limit now.
"Let's end this monkey boy!" Baalmon yelled, as he flew at Etemon with his whip at the ready, and his amulets turning into kunai and flying at Etemon.
"Hey, wait for me!" Naruto yelled, as he ran after Baalmon.
Tai frowned at this, before he looked down at his crest, which was still glowing. He then looked at Greymon. "Are you ready to end Etemon, Greymon?" he asked.
"I'm right behind you Tai!" Greymon said as he nodded, and charged at Etemon along with Tai.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon yelled, as he fired at Etemon, his attack being absorbed by the Dark Network.
"Hey, that was pretty good! I give it a 9.6!" Etemon yelled, before he laughed like a monkey.
"Tai, we can handle this!" Naruto yelled at Tai, knowing he and Baalmon had the best chance to win, but not if Tai and Greymon were in the way.
"Not gonna happen. I'm not letting this guy potentially hurt my friends" Tai said with a glare at Etemon, as his crest grew brighter, and soon his digivice glowed too.
"Tai! I feel more power!" Greymon yelled with a grin.
"NNOO! I WON'T LET ANOTHER ONE OF YOU GROW STRONGER!" Etemon roared in anger, as he sent some wires towards him.
"Greymon digivolve to.…MetalGreymon!!!"
MetalGreymon had what looked like a mechanical claw on his left side, metal covering his face and chest and what looked like purple wings on his back.
As Etemon's attack flew at MetalGreymon, he swung his metal claw at the attack, instantly slicing it to ribbons.
"Uh, can we negotiate?" Etemon asked, with a sweatdrop at this show of power.
"Woah oh oh! You're looking way better than the last form you had, big guy!" Baalmon yelled with a grin, as he gave MetalGreymon a thumbs up.
"Yea, this is much better than that skull look you were using before" Naruto said with a grin.
"Finish him off, while we still can!" Tai yelled at MetalGreymon, as he held his orange digivice.
"Giga Blaster!" MetelGreymon yelled, as he fired what looked like a pair of giant missiles with fanged mouths on them at Etemon.
"No! Don't destroy me! I have too much talent!" Etemon yelled, before the attack hit his Dark Network, which started a chain reaction, and what looked like a vortex started to suck up Etemon and his Dark Network.
"Oh, come on!" Naruto yelled, as he started to get sucked into the vortex, along with Tai.
"I got ya, partner!" Baalmon yelled, as he grabbed Naruto's hand, but he started to get sucked in too.
"Good….but who's got you?!" Naruto yelled at Baalmon, as they were both sucked in.
MetalGreymon grabbed Tai, and for a second they both stopped, but suddenly MetalGreymon was sucked towards the vortex, which soon closed up.
When they went through, there was nothing but silence as the others looked at this in shock.
"Tai! Naruto!" everyone yelled in a panic at seeing their friends disappear.
"Come back!" Sora yelled out in anger at seeing this, tears dropping from her eyes.
Mimi said nothing, as she started to cry, thinking they were gone for good.
(With Naruto and Tai)
Naruto and Tai blinked, as they stood in the middle of a park in Japan that looked very familiar to them, and sitting next to them were Koromon and Yaamon.
"Uh, Tai, are we where I think we are?" Naruto asked, as he looked around.
"Yea, I think so too" Tai said, as he looked around, seeing other humans.
"Where are we Tai?" Koromon asked curiously.
"Yea, what's with all the other humans?" Yaamon asked, as he looked at some kids who jumped at seeing him talk.
"Guys, welcome to our world" Naruto said, spreading his arms out to the two shocked Digimon.
Yaamon nodded at this. "Okay, good to know. Next question….HOW DO WE GET BACK TO THE DIGITAL WORLD?!" he yelled out in a panic, making some birds fly off in a panic.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were sitting in their office relaxing, before….
Wahoo! Deadpool yelled, barging into the room, wearing a Mario outfit, while still wearing his mask
….nope: P.O.M said, shaking his head at this
Oh, let him have this. The movie was pretty good: Kfbanime87 said with a smile

Kfbanime87, who was indeed in an orange cat suit, growled as he unleashed his claws and hissed, as he pounced on Deadpool and started to attack him
