The group were making their way across the water, thanks to some swan paddle boats they had been able to find.
Naruto and Himawari were sitting in one, with Impmon and Labramon sitting on the roof of the boat, while Tai and TK sat in the other boat, with Agumon sitting behind them and Patamon on TK's head.
"We have been at this for hours," Himawari said with a groan, as she and Naruto paddled their boat.
"Less whining, more paddling newbie!" Impmon yelled from the rooftop, before he heard growling from Labramon.
"I think I see land!" Patamon yelled, as he pointed in front of them.
"Good, I think the newbie wants to take a bite out of me," Impmon said, as he edged away from the growling Labramon.
"Relax, she's allergic to shrimp" Himawari said with a smile, as they all spotted land.
Impmon grumbled at this, as they all maneuvered the ships toward the shore.
"Hey, there's another swan boat" Tai said, as they all got out of their own boats and got onto shore, as he pointed at another swan boat nearby.
"That must be the one Matt used," Naruto said, as he checked the boat and saw some of Gabumon's fur on the seats and floor.
"That means Matt must be nearby," TK said with a smile.
"Yeah, but which way did he go?" Naruto asked, as he looked around the area.
"Do you think you can sniff out a scent?" Himawari asked Labramon, as she took the fur Naruto took from Matt's boat, and held it out to her partner.
Labramon nodded at this, before she started to sniff at the fur for a bit. "Ok, I got the scent" she said, before she started to sniff around and lead the way down a dirt trail.
"Good girl Lassie," Impmon said with a snicker, as they all ran after her.
Soon, Labramon led them towards a big building, with a restaurant sign on it that said ":Digitamamon's fine cuisine:" along the top.
"You're supposed to be leading us to Matt, not food. Bad dog!" Impmon yelled, as he shook his finger at Labramon.
"This is where the scent led me, you idiot!" Labramon growled as she glared at Impmon.
"Who are you calling an idiot, newbie? I outrank you, fido!" Impmon yelled, as he glared back at the dog Digimon.
Labramon growled at this, before she tackled Impmon, and they both started to roll in the dirt fighting, as a dust cloud formed.
"Oh, for crying out loud," Naruto said with a groan at the two fighting Digimon.
"Will you two stop? This isn't helping" Tai said, as he and TK approached the backdoor of the restaurant.
"I didn't start it - hey, no biting!" Labramon was saying, before she yelled out as Impmon bit her tail.
Before anyone could respond to this, the backdoor opened, revealing Matt wearing an apron.
"What's going on out here?!" Matt yelled, sounding at his wits end, before he blinked in surprise at what he was seeing.
"Hey big bro!" TK yelled with a smile, before he hugged Matt's legs.
"T-TK? What are you doing here?" Matt asked in surprise.
"Tai, Naruto and Himawari showed up, and we decided to come looking for you" TK said, before he pointed at the others, who were trying to separate Impmon and Labramon.
"Tai? Naruto? Where did you two go?" Matt asked, as he approached them.
"Oh, nowhere important really. Just back to our world" Naruto said with a shrug.
"…..that explains the new kid. Who are you?" Matt said, before looking at Himawari.
"The names Himawari Uzumaki, new Digidestined, and this is my partner, Labramon. Now, what's this I hear about you leaving TK alone at that theme park?" Himawari asked with a slight glare at Matt.
"Look, it's a long story, and I don't need to take attitude from a brat - oof!" Matt was saying, before he was suddenly slugged in the gut by Himawari, making him keel over.
"I got your brat, pretty boy!" Himawari said, as she backed away from Matt and cracked her knuckles.
"What's going on out here?" a male voice asked, getting everyone's attention. and when everyone looked, they saw Joe also wearing an apron, with Gabumon and Gomamon behind him.
"Hey Joe. At least Matt found one of you, while he was off on his own" Tai said with a wave at Joe.
"Tai! Naruto! Oh, thank goodness! Everyone was worried sick about you guys!" Joe yelled out happily, before he ran out to greet them.
"Where is everyone, anyway?" Naruto asked him.
"It's a long story. Wait, who's the new kid? Joe asked curiously.
"And why is she mocking Matt, while he's holding his stomach?" Gomamon asked curiously.
"That's my little sister, Himawari," Naruto said casually.
Gabumon went to help Matt up, but paused when he spotted Labramon and blushed lightly, as their eyes met.
"Now, let's hear this explanation," Naruto said to Matt and Joe.
(One explanation later)
"Ok, so to summarize; you guys put yourself into debt at this restaurant, and because of accidents happening, they keep adding more days?" Tai asked, getting nods from Joe and Gomamon.
"How often do these accidents happen?" Naruto asked curiously, as with the amount of time Matt said they still owe to the owners, Naruto could swear he smelled a rat.
"Pretty often, thanks to Joe" Matt said with a tsk, making Joe frown.
"Hey, none of that. We're a team here and -" Tai was saying, before he was cut off.
"What team? You guys disappear and then show back up, and try to lecture me?" Matt yelled getting up and approaching Tai with an angry look on his face.
"Big bro, calm down. We're just trying to help" TK said, as he grabbed Matt's hand.
Matt hesitated at this, before he took some breaths. "Ok, ok. Look, I'm just stressed. The owner of the place is constantly on our backs, and with the constant accidents and me worrying about you, I was starting to lose it" he said, as he sat down on a crate.
"Well, relax Matt. We're here now, and we can help you try and figure this out" Naruto said, getting nods from Tai and Himawari.
Suddenly, the back door burst open and a green and yellow Digimon, with vines for arms, feathers on its head and sharp teeth appeared.
"Ah, it's Vegimon," Agumon said, recognizing this Digimon.
"Hey, what are you all doing?! Get back to work, you slackers!" Veigimon yelled at Matt and Joe.
"Ah! Right away sir!" Joe yelled out, as he ran back into the restaurant, with Gomamon close behind him.
Naruto glared at Vegimon, before he looked at Himawari and TK. "Why don't you kids go inside and get something to eat, while I try and discuss things with Vegimon?" he asked Himawari with a firm tone.
Himawari raised an eyebrow at this, before she chuckled. "Careful bro, he looks like a punk, so he's probably not the actual boss" Himawari said, as she and TK entered the restaurant, with Labramon and Patamon close behind.
"He's not," Matt grumbled out at this.
"Ha! Knew it!" Himawari said with a smile, glad her instincts were still good, as she walked through the door.
As Labramon entered the restaurant, she paused and started to sniff the air, before she started to growl and entered the restaurant in a hurry.
"Ok, let's cut to the chase, bub. We want to see your boss, and I mean right away" Naruto said, as he glared at Vegimon.
"Yeah, we want our friends out of your employ, and we're not leaving without them" Tai said with his own glare.
"Well, as soon as they pay off all their debts, they can go," Vegimon said with a dismissive wave of his arm.
"I didn't say I wanted to know what it would take for you to let them go. I said, that I want to see your boss," Naruto said with a firm tone, as he glared at Vegimon.
"What are you gonna do if I don't get him, whiskers?" Vegimon asked with an unimpressed tone.
"Impmon, please show this deadbeat what you do to jerks" Naruto said with a grin at his partner.
"With pleasure" Impmon with a smile, before he held up his hands and made some fire appear in his palms.
Vegimon started to sweat at seeing the flames in Impmon's hands. "F-fine. Hey boss!" he stuttered out, before he shouted out loud.
A few moments later, what looked like an egg with feet and a large hole with yellow eyes walked over from around the corner.
"I can already tell he's a rotten egg," Tai grumbled under his breath.
"Careful Tai, that's Digitamamon. He's a fully digivolved digimon" Agumon said
"What is it? Did those humans cause another accident?" Digitamamon asked with an annoyed tone, as he glared at Matt.
"This human wants to have a chat with you," Vegimon said, as he pointed at Naruto.
"More humans? You lot have been showing up more and more lately. Well, what do you want? Time is money, after all!" Digitamamon yelled out.
"We want you to let our friends go," Naruto said with a firm tone, as he glared at the egg Digimon.
"Yea, and if you don't, I'll hard boil ya!" Impmon yelled as he held up his flames.
"No way! Those humans owe me, and they aren't leaving until they pay me back every penny!" Digitamamon yelled out, as he stomped his feet in anger.
"How do we know you aren't just using tricks and lies to keep them here?" Tai asked with a glare at the egg Digimon.
"How dare you! I am a legitimate business Digimon!" Digitamamon yelled, as he glared at Tai.
Before anyone could respond to this, everyone heard Labramon barking and yelling, before the backdoor burst open and DemiDevimon flew out of the restaurant, with Labramon close behind, along with Himawari with her potato gun.
"Get back here, you bat out of hell!" Himawari yelled, before she fired her potato gun at the flying Digimon.
"Stop shooting at me, you psycho!! Ow! Ow! That hurts!" DemiDevimon yelled, as he was pelted with potatoes and Labramon's Bark Attack, before he flew off.
"DemiDevimon?" Tai asked, surprised at seeing the evil Digimon so soon after their last encounter.
"What's he doing here in your restaurant, omelet boy?" Naruto asked Digitamamon.
"He was sabotaging Joe and causing accidents!" TK yelled, as he and Patamon came outside, along with Joe and Gomamon.
Matt growled at this before he looked at Digitamamon. "You lousy scam artist! You were gonna keep us here forever!" he yelled out.
"I gave you a good job! Show some appreciation!" Digitamamon yelled back.
"You had us working so hard, we could have paid for a vacation to Hawaii!" Matt yelled, as he took off his apron and threw it on the ground.
"If you want a vacation, I'll gladly send you to the moon!" Digitamamon yelled, as he jumped at Matt, who dodged to the side and glared at the egg Digimon, as his digivice glowed.
"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"
"So you want to fight? Then we will gladly scramble you!" Naruto yelled, as he looked at Impmon.
"Impmon digivolve to……Wizardmon!"
"I got your back, boss!" Vegimon yelled, as he used his vines and grabbed TK and Himawari, and held them in the air.
"Hey! Let me go!" TK yelled out, as he tried to get loose.
"Yea! Don't make me turn you into a salad!" Himawari yelled, as she tried to get loose.
Vegimon scoffed at this, but didn't notice Joe sneaking up behind him, by climbing a ladder onto the roof, so he could jump onto him from above.
"Let them go!" Joe yelled, as he jumped onto Vegimon and grabbed him, causing them both to crash to the ground.
This also caused Vegimon to drop TK and Himawari.
"You ok TK?" Patamon asked, as he flew over to his partner.
"Yea, I'm fine" TK said, as he stood up and dusted himself off.
"Don't worry, I'm fine Labramon" Himawari said, as she stood up as her partner approached her.
"That's it! I'm gonna crush you!" Vegimon yelled, as he held up Joe in his vines, and started to crush him in them, making Joe yell out in pain.
"Joe!" Tai yelled, getting Naruto and Matt's attention and distracting them from the fight with Digitamamon.
"Nightmare Syndrome!" Digitamamon yelled, as he fired a black phantom from his egg opening, slamming into Garurumon and sending him into Wizardmon.
Matt clenched his fists at this, as he looked at his downed friend and looked at Joe, who had thrown himself into danger to save TK, and after he had blamed him for their situation the past few days. "Let my friend go!" he yelled in a rage.
This caused his crest to glow brightly, getting everyone's attention.
"Matt, I'm feeling a lot more power!" Garurumon yelled, as he stood up on his feet.
"Garurumon, do it!" Matt yelled, as he held out his digivice, which turned blue.
Matt's Digivice began to shake and glow blue as a white beam shot from the it the tag causing the crest of Friendship to fly into the air
Garurumon stood in a blue sphere of energy
"Garurumon Digivolve to...!" He shouted as blue flames sprung upwards from behind causing him to rise up on two feet as the blue flames began covering his left arm and his legs the flames vanished forming into ripped blue jeans with a spiked knee-pad on the right leg and a normal one on the left, a bracer attached to an arm sleeve on its left arm.
"Weregarurumon!" He shouted letting loose a loud whole as he stood at the mountain top as the blue flames raged behind him
"Not a bad look," Naruto said with a smile, as he gave a thumbs up.
"Eh, mine's better," Wizardmon said with a scoff, as he looked to the side.
"I'm not gonna lose to you, wolf boy! Nightmare Syndrome!" Digitamamon yelled, as he fired his attack again at the new ultimate Digimon.
But this time, the attack was caught by WereGarurumon, and after a few moments of struggle….
"Wolf's Claw!" WereGarurumon yelled, before he threw Digitamamon's attack back at him, causing his attack to hit the egg Digimon, and send him flying into the woods nearby.
"Ok Vegimon, you better let him go!" Matt yelled, as he turned to glare at Vegimon, who still had Joe in his vines.
"Yea, our new heavy hitter could use a workout," Himawari said with a grin, as WereGarurumon cracked his knuckles at Vegimon.
Vegimon paled at this, before he placed Joe on the ground gently, before he ran off in a panic, screaming as he did.
"Wow, now that's just sad" Naruto said with a chuckle, at the fact that Vegimon just gave up and fled like a coward.
"Not a bad look. I wonder if you will look this cool at this level, Labramon" Himawari said, as she looked at WereGarurumon curiously.
"She turns into a monster Doberman sis. I think a bigger version of that will probably be plenty cool" Naruto said with a chuckle, as he patted her on the head.
While everyone regrouped, Labramon sniffed at WereGarurumon curiously at this, making him chuckle nervously, before in a flash of light, he de-digivolved back to Tsunomon.
"Oh, come on!" Tsunomon yelled out at this, getting a laugh from Impmon.
"Awww, he's adorable!" Himawari said with a smile at the now de-digivolved Digimon.
"Don't rub it in!" Tsunomon yelled out, annoyed at this.
Matt shook his head at this, before he picked Tsunomon up. "Don't worry buddy, you will be back to normal before you know it" he said.
"Yea, don't worry. Even cute, you're still cool" Labramon said with a smile.
Tsunomon blushed at this, as he averted his eyes from Labramon.
"Ok gang, since we dealt with the slave driver, let's raid the restaurant's supply room, and get out of here" Naruto said with a grin at the group.
"Are you sure that's a good idea? Joe asked, as while he agreed they were evil, stealing their food felt a little much.
"Do you want all that food to go to waste?" Tai asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The ramen is in the back," Matt said with a knowing grin at Naruto.
"I call dibs!" Himawari yelled, as she ran into the restaurant.
"Oi! Get back here!" Naruto yelled, as he ran after her.
"I'm glad we have several backpacks now," Tai said with a sigh at this.

The group were walking down a trail, and soon they came upon a split trail, which went in two different directions.
"Hmmmm, which direction should we take?" Joe asked curiously.
"We could do eenie meenie" Himawari said with a grin.
"According to the digivice, both directions have one of our friends" Matt said, looking at his digivice.
"Ok, we should split up into teams and meet up at the base of the mountain," Tai said, as he pointed at the mountain towering above them.
"Sounds good to me," Naruto said with a nod.
"Me and TK can take this way, while the rest of you take the other path" Matt said, as he pointed down one path.
"Ok, but you all should be careful, since you have less people on the team," Naruto said to Matt and TK.
"I would offer to take you with us, but I think Tai needs help with keeping your sis in line" Matt said with a friendly smile at Naruto.
"Oi! You want another punch to the gut, pretty boy?!" Himawari yelled, as she punched the air for emphasis.
"Will you come on? We have to find the others" Naruto said, as he grabbed Himawari and dragged her down the path.
Matt shook his head at this, as he carried Tsunomon with TK and Patamon following him down the path, while the others took the other path.

The group were walking down a path making their way.
"I'm bored, big bro!" Himawari said with a whine.
"Would you rather we be attacked by evil digimon?" Joe asked curiously.
"Absolutely! I need excitement in my life!" Himawari said with a grin.
Joe gained a surprised look at this declaration from the younger child.
"Are we getting close?" Naruto asked Tai, who was looking at his digivice to track one of the others.
"Yeah, we're getting close," Tai said as he nodded.
"And I smell another human," Labramon said, as she sniffed the ground.
"Can that thing tell you which one of them it is?" Himawari asked curiously.
"Sorry squirt, but no," Tai said as he shook his head.
"It's either Izzy, Sora or Mimi" Naruto said, listing off who was left to find
"And we all know who you hope it is," Impmon said with a snicker.
"Impmon, I'll make it look like a bloody accident," Naruto said with a firm tone.
"Hey, that's kaa sans line!" Himawari yelled upon hearing this.
"Trust me, it's warranted with this subject squirt," Tai said with a teasing grin at Naruto.
"You're next after him, Tai," Naruto growled out.
"Ok, am I missing something here?" Himawari asked with a confused look on her face.
"What you don't know?" Joe asked curiously, as he figured if anyone knew, it would be Naruto's little sister.
"Know what exactly?" Himawari asked curiously.
"He has a crush! I regret nothing!" Impmon yelled, before he ran ahead of the group, avoiding Naruto and laughing madly.
"Damn it Impmon!" Naruto yelled out after his partner, as he chased him.
"Oh really? I'm gonna guess it's this Mimi girl" Himawari said with a grin.
"Bingo" Tai said as he nodded, as they followed after Naruto and Impmon.
"What's she like?" Himawari asked curiously.
"Uh, why?" Joe asked nervously, not liking the look on the little girl's face.
"Well, I need to know if she's the right fit for my big bro," Himawari said with a casual tone.
"Well, she likes pink, is always talking about clothes and fashion, and -" Tai was saying, before he was cut off.
"Oh jeez, she's one of those types? Big bro, you're a sap!" Himawari yelled out after her big brother, who was shaking Impmon in his hands, his hands around Impmon's neck.
"I am not!" Naruto yelled, stopping his shaking of Impmon.
"You ran after Mimi when you thought she was captured, and got slapped for your trouble when you walked into the bath - ah! Uncle! Uncle!" Impmon was saying, before Naruto started to shake him again.
"Oh ho! So you are sweet on this Mimi girl!" Himawari yelled triumphantly, as the rest of them approached Naruto and Impmon.
"…….please don't tell her" Naruto groaned, as he looked down at the ground in defeat, while dropping Impmon.
"Ow!I" Impmon groaned out, his face in the dirt.
"Heh, this look fits you," Labramon said with a smirk.
"Oh, go fetch a bone!" Impmon yelled out in frustration, as he stood up and dusted himself off.
Labramon made a mocking face at this.
"Hmmmm, I dunno, big bro. What's in it for me?" Himawari asked with a teasing grin.
"I don't know. Mom still thinks it was me who dyed her hair blue, and then shaved her bald the next day last year" Naruto said with a raised eyebrow.
Himawari stopped smiling at this, and started to slightly sweat. "……I'll say nothing, if you don't," she said.
"Done," Naruto said with a nod of agreement.
"Glad we could reach an accord" Himawari said.
"Ah, the joy of siblings blackmailing each other," Tai said with a sarcastic tone.
"So, you and Kari do the same thing huh?" Naruto asked, as they continued to walk down the trail.
"Nope. Unlike you, my parents didn't raise a future yakuza boss" Tai said with a chuckle.
"I'm the future yakuza boss, while he's my future underling" Himawari said with a wide grin, as she jerked her thumb at Naruto.
"I am so gonna nark and get witness protection" Naruto grumbled under his breath.
This got snorts of laughter from Impmon, Himawari and Tai, while Joe shook his head at this.
Soon, they all came upon what looked like a medieval castle.
"So, who wants to knock?" Gomamon asked.
"I'll do it!" Himawari yelled, as she ran over to the door with Labramon right behind her.
"Sis, don't say anything insulting. It might belong to an evil digi -" Naruto was saying, before…
"Oi! Open up! And if you say your princess is in another castle, I'll bury you in a shallow grave!" Himawari yelled out, as she kicked the big door.
"……definitely takes after your mom," Tai said to Naruto after hearing this.
"Yes. Thankfully, dad was able to keep her language PG rated, after she turned 4" Naruto said with a sigh.
"So, does that mean her language is now higher than PG rated?" Tai asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We have had a few instances where her school has called home, with a list of her language," Naruto said, as they approached the castle, as the doors opened.
When the castle doors fully opened, a pair of what looked like a lizard with a trumpet around its neck and a blue tadpole with front feet appeared.
"Who are they?" Joe asked Gomamon curiously.
"They are Gekomon and Otamamon, both lizard Digimon," Gomamon said.
"What do you want?" Gekomon asked curiously.
"We're looking for our friends," Agumon said.
"Yea, and according to our leader, one of them should be here," Himawari said firmly.
"Well, we don't know anything. And even if we did, we're busy trying to keep our princess happy" Otamamon said with an annoyed look.
"Does she have a Palmon or a Biyomon with them?" Naruto asked, having a bad feeling.
"A Palmon, actually. Why?" Gekomon asked with a raised eyebrow.
"They think Mimi is a princess?" Joe asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, with how much into fashion she is, it makes sense," Tai said with a shrug.
"That's not why she's our princess," Otamamom said, as he shook his head at this.
"Well, let's hear it then" Naruto said with a firm tone, as he crossed his arms.
(One explanation later)
The group were looking at Gekomon and Otamamon with wide eyes, at the story they were just told.
"So, let me see if I understand this; Mimi is your princess because her singing voice can wake up your actual ruler?" Tai asked them, getting nods from the two lizard Digimon.
"And she has been giving you all excuse after excuse, for why she can't complete the song and wake your leader up" Joe said.
"That's right. She's been doing this for weeks now" Gekomon said with a nod.
"And running us all ragged, with her demands every day" Otamamon said with a frown.
This made Naruto's eyebrow twitch violently at this, before he stomped towards the castle door.
"Uh oh, looks like the honeymoons over" Impmon said with a snicker seeing Naruto was mad.
"Lets go, before Naruto makes this worse by yelling at Mimi" Joe said, as he led the way in.
"Why?" Himawari asked curiously, as she thought Mimi needed to be called out on this.
"Oh, just move. I swear, herding cats is easier than you" Tai said, as he pointed at the castle.
Himawari hissed at this, as she swiped her hand at him, pretending to be a cat.
"I think she's growing on me," Impmon said with a snicker, as they all followed Naruto.
(With Naruto)
Naruto walked into the very nice throne room, and saw Mimi sitting on the throne in a nice pink dress while wearing a crown.
And sitting next to her was Palmon, also in a dress. But she didn't look like she was having fun like Mimi.
"Mimi!" Naruto yelled out, his voice echoing in the big throne room.
Mimi blinked at this and looked down at Naruto in surprise, before she smiled brightly. "Naruto! You're ok!" she yelled happily, as she jumped to her feet and ran over to Naruto.
But before she could hug him, he grabbed her arms, stopping her.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Mimi asked him, curious why he would stop her from hugging him.
"What's wrong is I finally found you, and you're taking advantage of these Digimon by pretending you can help them!" Naruto said with an annoyed look on his face.
"I was gonna help them eventually," Mimi said with a frown.
"Oh? When?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow, not believing this in the slightest.
"When my voice was better. And besides, what's wrong with living in luxury a bit, after all we went through, since we got dragged into this world?" Mimi said with a huff, as she crossed her arms.
"What's wrong is that we're supposed to help their world, not exploit it, you brat!" Naruto yelled, his voice echoing off the walls again, just as the others entered the room.
"Oh jeez, he actually went there," Tai said with a wince.
"Well, he's not wrong," Impmon said with a shrug.
"I'm with the gremlin," Himawari said with a nod of agreement.
Mimi looked down at the ground and gripped her dress, as her hands started to shake, before…..
(Sometime later)
SLAM
"Well, that went well" Gomamon said with a flat tone, as they were all now locked up in the dungeon, with several Gekomon and Otamamon guarding them.
"Well, it's official, your girlfriend sucks," Impmon said to Naruto with an annoyed tone.
"Not the time, you moron," Naruto said with an annoyed tone of his own.
"Yea, his soul is in the pits of despair, after cussing out the love of his life" Himawari said with a bright smile on her face
Which was kinda creeping out Joe, and the Gekomon and Otamamon guarding them.
"Yeah, she's cute, but she's coocoo" Impmon said, as he spun his finger next to his head.
"Look, for now let's focus on getting out of here. I'm sure we can snap Mimi out of this, if we actually talk" Tai said to the group, trying to calm them down.
"There is no escape. The only way out is the sweet embrace of death!" Himawari said, still with a bright smile on her face.
This got groans from the team.
"Are you kidding me?!?!" Joe yelled, not expecting this level of cynicism from the younger member of the team.
The doors opened and Palmon entered.
"I'm here to talk to them, so take a break" Palmon said to the guards.
"As you wish, princess Palmon" one of the Gekomon said with a salute.
"Yea, the youngest one is creepy" an Otamamon said, as they left.
"Yea, if I spend any more time with her, I'm gonna lose it" Gekomon said with a nod.
"Time, like hope, is an illusion," Labramon said with a smile at the departing guards.
This caused the leaving guards to gain depressed looks as they left.
"Good doggie," Himawari said with a smile, as she petted her partner.
"….where did you find these two?" Palmom asked, as she approached the cell.
"We went back to the human world, and she came along for the ride when we returned," Tai said, keeping it simple.
"And she's my sister," Naruto said, as he shook his head.
"Oh. Um, nice to meet you. Sorry about Mimi, she went through a lot after Eteamon was defeated" Palmon said to Himawari and Labramon.
"How much time has passed here since that happened?" Naruto asked curiously.
"A few weeks. But I'm glad your all ok" Palmon said with a frown, before smiling at them
"Awww, you missed me," Impmon said with a grin at Palmon.
"You wish," Palmon said with a scoff.
"Just for that, I'm not gonna say you look good in that dress" Impmon said with a pout.
"Too late, you already did," Gomamon said with a grin, along with Agumon and Patamon, causing Impmon to face plant.
"Look Palmon, it may have been a few weeks, but this is too much to accept, even for me," Naruto said with a scowl.
Palmon shook her head at this. "After you both disappeared, she tried to stay tough and help Sora keep everyone together, but it just didn't work out that way" she said as she frowned.
"And I'm gonna guess this whole princess thing was her coping mechanism?" Joe asked curiously.
"That, and her crying herself to sleep at night over worrying about a certain blonde" Palmon said with a pointed look at Naruto.
Naruto paused at this before he frowned, as he didn't think of how Mimi would probably think the worst if he was missing, and would probably worry a lot.
"Nice work, big bro" Himawari said with a flat tone, as she gave him a thumbs up.
"Yeah, thanks so much," Impmon said with a sarcastic tone.
"Okm we need a plan to snap Mimi out of this," Tai said to the group.
"Well, I'm open to any ideas, as long as it doesn't involve yelling at her," Joe said, as he looked at Naruto, before turning to look at Palmon.
"Alright, I get it!" Naruto yelled out at this, as he crossed his arms with a huff.
"Well, I had an idea, where I could use one of your phones to record Mimi singing, and then use that to wake up their leader," Palmon said, ready to help.
"Nope, won't work" Himawari said, shaking her head at this.
"Why not?" Tai asked with a raised eyebrow, as he thought Palmon's idea was pretty good.
"After what big bro did, she's gonna be more paranoid and be on the lookout for that" Himawari said.
"Well, other than her putting on some sort of concert, I don't see what else we can do," Naruto said with a groan.
"Well, you could apologize to her," Impmon said, deciding to make a suggestion.
This caused everyone to look at Impmon, surprised at this suggestion.
"That's…..actually a good idea" Palmon said, after a moment of hesitation.
"Yeah….who are you, and what did you do with Impmon?" Gomamon asked with a smirk.
"Oh, go dunk your head in a lake," Impmon said with a frown.
"Well, if I'm gonna apologize, I'm gonna need a way out of this cell" Naruto said, as he looked at the cell door.
"I'm way ahead of you" Palmon said, as she held up her hand, showing she had the keys.
"You swiped those from the guards? Not bad, flower child" Impmon said with a smirk.
"Let's get you all out," Palmon said, as she unlocked the cell door.
"Ok, I'll go talk to Mimi," Naruto said, as he headed for the door.
"She's sleeping at the moment, so don't scare her," Palmon said to Naruto
"The rest of us will go set up for her to wake up their leader" Tai said, nodding at Naruto, who nodded back as he walked off.
"Where is this leader of theirs, anyway?" Labramon asked curiously.
"If I'm a betting girl, it's probably a higher level of a Gekomon" Himawari said with a shrug, as the group left the dungeon.
(With Naruto)
It was night time, while Naruto was making his way towards Mimi's room, and soon he was in front of her door, as he slowly opened it.
After he opened it, he looked inside, and saw what looked like a familiar figure leaving Mimi's room through her window.
"Sora?" Naruto asked in surprise, recognizing her hat and quickly running to the window and looking outside, but he didn't see anyone.
"Huh, I could have sworn I saw Sora," Naruto said, as he rubbed the back of his head in confusion, as Mimi, who was asleep in her bed, groaned as she woke up.
"Ugh, what's going on?" Mimi asked, as she rubbed her eyes, before she looked at Naruto. "Naruto?" she asked, surprised at seeing him again.
"Uh, yea…..hey" Naruto said nervously, as he was still feeling guilty after what Palmon had told him, about how Mimi hadn't taken him being gone well.
"What are you doing here?" Mimi asked with a suspicious tone.
"I came here to talk to you," Naruto said with a calm tone, hoping to put her at ease.
"No thanks. The last time we talked, you yelled at me after being gone, and made me worry" Mimi said with a huff, as she looked away from Naruto.
Naruto groaned at this. "Ok, I guess I deserve that. I guess I was just upset at hearing that you were taking advantage of those digimon, when you said you could help them" he said to her.
"I can see that, but why would you be so upset?" Mimi asked, as she slightly looked at Naruto.
"Well, I guess it's because when I look at you, I don't see someone who would take advantage of someone else. I see someone who is a loyal friend, and speaks their mind. So I guess when I saw how you were acting, it just made me upset that a friend of mine I care about would change like that" Naruto said.
Mimi's eyes widened at this, before she blushed a little at what Naruto said he thought was great about her.
"Look Mimi, I'm sorry I yelled at you. I should have acted more like a friend. and talked to you instead. Plus, after me and Tai being gone, you were probably worried about us and me yelling at you after showing back up, isn't the best way to greet you" Naruto said, as he bowed his head a bit at her.
"No! No, it's OK Naruto……you were right, even if your yelling was a bit much, I shouldn't have locked you and the others - oh no, the others!" Mimi was saying, before she jumped to her feet and ran to her closet, to get dressed out of her PJs.
"What about them?" Naruto asked, looking up at Mimi's yelling.
"I locked them all up in the dungeon! What kind of friend am I?!" Mimi yelled in a panic, as she looked in her closet for her regular clothes.
"Oh, don't worry, they are already out. Plus, it wasn't that bad, thanks to my sister and Labramon messing with your guards a bit" Naruto said with a chuckle.
"That was your sister? That's even worse!" Mimi yelled out in a panic, as she felt this was really bad, and that she just ruined any chance she had of having a good relationship with Naruto's family.
"Mimi, just relax. Everyone is fine and getting things ready for you to sing, so you can wake up the Gekomon's leader. So why don't you get dressed and we can go take care of this?" Naruto asked with a smile at Mimi, as his crest started to glow.
Mimi looked at Naruto, and after a few moments, she nodded. "Of course. Now get out, so I can get dressed. I'll be ready in a minute" she said, as she pointed at the door.
"Of course. And thanks for not slugging me again" Naruto said with a smile, as he headed for the door.
"Ugh, you're never gonna let that go, are you?" Mimi asked with a groan at this.
"Nope. I'm still seeing double" Naruto said with a teasing smile, as he left the room, closing the door behind him as he did.
Mimi pouted at this as she got dressed, before chuckling a bit, glad things were somewhat back to normal.
(Throne room)
The group and the crowd of Gekomon and Otamamon were all in front of a stage, where what looked like a giant red lizard with a leaf-like collar and two giant brass horns around his neck was sleeping.
"Woah, that's a big lizard," Tai said, whistling at seeing the giant Digimon.
"I hope that thing isn't cranky when it wakes up" Joe said with a look of worry.
"We don't know a lot about ShogunGekomon, so stay alert" Agumon said to his fellow digimon.
"Ai ai, dino breath" Impmon said with a salute.
"You know, I almost missed your quips," Palmon said with a chuckle at Impmon.
Soon, Naruto came into the room and walked over to the others.
"Please tell me you didn't scare her off by saying you love her more than ramen -" Impmon was saying, before…..
BONK!
Naruto slugged him in the head, leaving a lump on his head, as he sent him to the ground.
"Oh, look at all the pretty Biyomon" Impmon said deliriously, as he moved his head about.
Palmon's eyebrow twitched after hearing this.
"Anyone else want to be a smart ass?" Naruto asked the group with a raised eyebrow.
The group all shook their heads at this, not wanting to test Naruto.
Mimi then came out onto the stage, and approached the microphone.
"Before I sing and wake up your king, I would like to apologize to my friends for being such a brat. I promise you I will not be that way anymore, and will always just be myself" Mimi said with a smile at Naruto, who gave her a thumbs up, causing her to smile just as her crest started to glow brightly.
She then started to sing her song into the microphone.

"Huh, she's not that bad," Himawari said with a grin at this.
"She's wonderful," Naruto said with a smile at Mimi's singing.
"You are such a sap," Tai said with a chuckle at his friend.
"I'll remember this, when your being all close with Sora," Naruto said with an edge in his voice.
Tai sputtered at this, a hot blush on his face, as they all listened to Mimi's song.
As Mimi sang, ShogunGekomon slowly woke up, and eventually he was on his feet and yawning.
"Gaaaah, what's all that racket?" ShogunGekomon yelled out, as he rubbed his eyes.
"Hey! I helped wake you up after you have been asleep for weeks, and worrying your people!" Mimi yelled out.
"Yea, you clearly have no taste, you windbag!" Naruto yelled out.
ShogunGekomon growled at this, before he got up and stomped on the stage, making it crack and making Mimi yell, as she fell off it.
"I got ya Mimi!" Palmon yelled, as she jumped up and grabbed her with her Poison Ivy, and pulled her over to the group.
"Well, looks like we're gonna dissect a frog!" Himawari yelled with a grin, as she looked at Labramon, who nodded.
"Come on guys, let's do this!" Tai yelled to the team.
"Labramon digivolve to…..Dobermon!"
"Agumon digivolve to….Greymon!"
"Impmon digivolve to…..Wizardmon!"
"Gomamon digivolve to…..Ikkakumon!"
"Palmon digivolve to…..Togemon!"
"Come on, let's all take cover" Joe said, as he led the others to the castle exit.
"You come into my castle, wake me up, and now you think you can just leave?" ShogunGekomon yelled at the five champion Digimon.
"You weren't waking up, and your people were worried," Togemon said, as she punched her fists together.
"Yea, so show some gratitude, ya jackass!" Wizardmon yelled, as he readied his staff.
"Magic Lighting/Nova Blast/Harpoon Torpedo/Black Beam!/Needle Spray!" the Five Champion Digimon shouted, as they unleashed their attacks.
"Samurai Tone!" ShogunGekomon shouted, taking a stance.
"It's a woman's disposition!" The orange gecko digimon sang, before crossing his arms, releasing sonic blasts from the trumpets on his shoulders, knocking the attacks right back at the users, blasting them straight through the brick wall, knocking them to the beach floor outside, sans Togemon, as she looked up to see some of the falling debris about to crush Mimi.
"Mimi!" Togemon shouted, thrusting her fist forward, punching the debris away, saving her partner.
Mimi looked up at her partner with a smile. "You forgive me!" she said with tears in her eyes.
"I'm just glad that old Mimi's back," Togemon said with a happy tone of voice.
"Oh Togemon, I'm so sorry!" Mimi cried, running to embrace her partner.
"Uh, not to break up the moment buuuuut….WE HAVE A GIANT OVERSIZED GECKO TRYING TO KILL US!" Himawari shouted pointing downward, as ShogunGekomon threw Greymon off him, followed by Wizardmon unleashing a storm of fire balls.
"Don't forget tone deaf!" Dobermon yelled, as she and the others went back to attacking the Ultimate level Digimon.
Mimi and Togemon nodded, when suddenly she noticed her tag and crest starting to glow.
"My crest. But why now?" Mimi said, finally taking notice of her glowing crest.
"It's because of the sincerity you showed to both Naruto and Palmon. That must have awakened your crest" Tai said, as he and the other humans took cover.
"Well, are you ready to teach that out of tune goon a lesson?" Mimi asked Togemon with a grin.
"You bet Mimi!" Togrmon said, as the glow of Mimi's crest filled her with energy.
Mimi's Digivice began to shake and glow green, as a white beam shot from it to the tag, causing the crest of Serenity to fly into the air.
Togemon stood in a green sphere of energy.
"Togemon Digivolve to..." Togemon shouted, as a light shot from her face as a flower bloomed on her head causing hundreds of rose petals to fly through the sky. A massive flower bud sprouted open, revealing a fairy Digimon that wears a pink flower for a dress, a bud of the same flower with a yellow stamen on its head, and its hair is made from vines. It wears green boots with flower decorations and green sleeves that end in flowers at the wrists. It has four leaf-like wings on its back.
"Lilymon!" she shouted, as her wings flapped, sending flower petals flying in the air.
"Whoa..." Wizardmon said, looking up at Lilymon who was hovering in the air.
"Hey Romeo, eyes on the fight!" Ikkakumon shouted, as he ran past Wizardmon.
"Sh-shut up!" Wizardmon said, as Lilymon took to the skies above ShogunGekomon, thrusting both of her arms forward, forming into a gun muzzle from the petals on her wrists.
"Flower Cannon!" she shouted, as she fired off an energy shell, shooting it into his trumpets. Just as he was about to blow on them, the trumpets began bloating, before they exploded, sending the large digimon flying crashing into the water.
"Time to end this Wizardmon!" Naruto shouted, as Wizardmon held up his staff.
"Magic Lighting!" Wizardmon shouted, thrusting his staff forward with electricity rocketing forward, shocking ShogunGekomon as he began screaming in pain, before he fell to the water, blackened and fried, sending up a cloud of smoke.
"Well, that was a fun waste of time," Himawari said with a sigh, as the fight ended.
"Not really. I mean, we found Mimi and snapped her out of it" Joe said.
"And not to mention she activated her crest too," Tai said.
"It's sincerity, like that's hard to activate. Ooo, I have to be honest and not be a brat" Himawari said with a fake fancy tone.
"And what's your crest, you little -" Mimi was saying, before Naruto patted her on the shoulder.
"Not a good idea. Once you start throwing insults, the gloves come off" Naruto said, as he shook his head.
"Yea, you can't beat me in a game of name calling, powder puff. And by the way, I have no idea what my crest is" Himawari said with a shrug.
"Well, maybe we can ask Gennai when we see him again," Tai said, hoping they would see the old man again soon.
"Hey look, the sun is rising," Lilymon said with a smile, as she hovered in the air above Mimi, and watched the sun rise.
Wizardmon watched Lilymon silently at this.
Naruto saw this, and gave a smirk. "OI LILYMON! WIZARDMON IS LOOKING AT YOUR PANTIES!" he yelled out.
"I am not!" Wizardmon yelled out in a rage.
"Yea! He has more class than that!" Lilymon yelled at Naruto, before both Digimon started to chase Naruto, who yelled as he ran off.
"Oh jeez. We better go save Naruto" Tai said with a groan at this.
"Yea, let's go worry wart and powder puff!" Himawari yelled at Joe and Mimi, before she ran after her brother, Dobermon close behind her
Mimi's eyebrow twitched in annoyance at this, before she followed after Himawari with Joe, Tai and their Digimon close behind.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were both in their office, relaxing, when He Who Is A Jackass burst through the door
