"Naruto Uzumaki..." Obito hissed angrily as he stared down the rogue Shinigami with his Sharingan. "Never would I have expected for you to follow us all the way out here..."
"I'll chase you Akatsuki down to the end of the universe if thats what it takes," Naruto shot back valiantly as he avoided Obito's glare, his eye's poised on Obito's feet smartly. "Tell me where Aizen is, Uchiha."
"We don't know where Aizen is, even if we did, what would you do?" Obito questioned smugly as a wicked smirk spread across his face. "Aizen's current power makes you look like you just waltzed out the Academy. He even managed to best me, an Uchiha, in battle."
"I've already bested the best the Uchiha has to offer in battle," Naruto boasted with a teasing grin. "So unfortunately, I don't find the Uchiha clan a good comparison to Aizen's true power."
Obito's face went blank, before a pure look of rage swept across his face like a tidal wave. With one swift move, Obito cut off Naruto's head with his zanpakuto, a satisfied smile spreading across his face as this occurred. But it was just an afterimage, Naruto appearing to the side of Obito, using the heel of his zanpakuto to crack the Uchiha in his jaw, causing Obito's head to crash into the wall on the other side of him due to the tremendous force of the brutal attack. Mikoto took this opportunity to attack, using the Amateratsu to separate Naruto and Obito. She unsheathed her blade in an instant, using the flash step to appear above Naruto, her sword poised to bury itself into Naruto's skull. Naruto looked up as Mikoto appeared, a hooded figure spearing Mikoto as she readied herself for her finishing attack.
"I didn't need it, but thanks for the save Kensei," Naruto thanked the hooded figure as the hooded figure lowered his cowl to be revealed as indeed the Visored member Kensei.
"Shut it kid, this is a team operation, not a one man circus show," Kensei responded in his usual manner as he unsheathed his zanpakuto from its sheath. He turned to Mikoto, who looked up at the muscular man with anger. "Lady, you're fighting me."
"What the hell is this?" Obito moaned with blood rolling down his chin, realizing that there could be several of these Visored inside their secret base at this very moment. "I told you, we know nothing of Aizen, now be gone before I kill you all myself."
"Those are big words from an injured man," Kensei stated as he glanced over at Obito. "We happen to know that you aren't at one hundred percent due to the injury you sustained while fighting Aizen. Which is why we chose this moment to attack your little club house."
"What's your motive?" Obito asked as Mikoto began to stand slowly.
"Motive? We need a motive to take down a terrorist group?" Kensei questioned as Mikoto's left eye began to bleed, a tear of pure blood rolling down her cheek.
"Kensei..." Naruto tried to warn Kensei as Kensei was lit ablaze by Mikoto's Amateratsu, the black fire increasing with the earlier Amateratsu still ablaze near Obito, causing the entire area to be covered in black flame.
"Dammit, KENSEI!" Naruto roared as he had to flash step out the area to avoid being caught inside the Amateratsu flame.
Mikoto grinned wickedly as she flash stepped to Obito, picking him up before she turned to see Nagato undo the cloak he had placed on himself and Madara's case.
"Nagato, warn Kisame and Sasori, hide Lord Madara..." Mikoto began before Kensei appeared from out of nowhere, not a scratch nor burn on his body, but he was no longer wearing his shirt anymore. Kensei took hold of Mikoto's entire face, slamming it into the ground before he tossed her out the cave with brute force alone. Nagato's eye's widened in shock as Kensei turned to Obito menacingly, who was still smarting from his early encounter with Naruto.
"W-What the hell... H-How did you escape the Amateratsu?" Obito questioned as Kensei chuckled, brushing himself off as he picked up Obito by the collar.
"I simply avoided the attack all together with just pure speed," Kensei stated nonchalantly. "I knew you were trying to distract me with conversation, and after witnessing that lady use the attack earlier, I figured she would use that as her go to move. Nothing more than just a simple observation..."
"I wouldn't expect nothing less from a former Captain of the paltry Soul Society," Obito said with a small smile. "But..."
Kensei's face changed instantly as he was tossed out the cave by an unknown force, Obito chuckling darkly as he turned to Nagato, the one who attacked Kensei.
"Nagato, it seem's you must fight today," Obito stated as Nagato nodded, using the flash step to go outside of the cave. Obito sat against the wall, staring at Madara's case as the flame of the Amateratsu flickered around him, wondering when the ultimate Uchiha would return...
Outside, Kensei rose up quickly after the invisible assault, quick enough to spot Nagato emerge from the cave.
"Kensei, you're okay!" Naruto shouted as he flash stepped to Kensei's side.
"We have a bigger problem..." Kensei stated as he stared at Nagato angrily. "We have a Rinnegan user..."
"The... Rinnegan?" Naruto asked curiously as Hiyori appeared behind Naruto via flash step. "The same eye that Madara used against me and Ichigo..."
"I use my Rinnegan a bit differently compared to Madara-sensei," Nagato spoke softly as he looked at the three Visored member's angrily. "You have disrespected the area where my sensei sleeps, and for that I must crush you..."
"Crush us? Alright then, bring it!" Naruto screamed energetically as he ran at Nagato full speed, just to be pushed away by an unknown force.
"You can't even touch me," Nagato stated as he stared at Naruto with those creepy Rinnegan eyes.
"My blade doesn't need to touch you, TENMAZEN!" Naruto roared as he sent his signature, three pronged red energy attack at Nagato, who deflected the attack toward the sky without even lifting a single finger.
"Is that the limit of your ability?" Nagato questioned boldly as Naruto began to breath heavily. "It almost seems like overkill, what I'm about to do..."
Nagato unsheathed his zanpakuto, letting it fall, the zanpakuto seemingly going through the ground itself, similar to Byakuya's bankai. As this occurred, six coffin's rose from the ground before Naruto, Naruto staring at this feat in amazement.
"W-What the hell is going on?" Hiyori questioned as the six coffin's opened, revealing six people inside of them. Each opened their eye's, which all bared the same Rinnegan as Nagato's.
"Allow me to introduce you to my six paths," Nagato stated as the six individuals stepped outside of their coffins slowly, Naruto and Kensei both going into a defensive position side by side.
"Six path's eh?" Kensei stated as he stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Back when I was in the Soul Society, I did a bit of research on the Rinnegan. Kisuke Urahara had told me that some of the fabled Rinnegan users in the Soul Society had been able to use an ability that allows them to make anyone they slay a puppet to use in any way they like. So you slayed these people, now they are forced to do your bidding."
"You are indeed correct," Nagato agreed as each of his path's unsheathed their blade from it's individual sheathe. "But I'm afraid the time for talking is over. I must finish this and relocate Master Madara before you rodents disrespect him with your presence. Tsunade, if you will."
A very well endowed woman with light blond hair stepped forward, her eye's poised on Kensei menacingly.
"Well, I've been told I attract beautiful women," Kensei joked as he cracked each of his knuckle's, going into a traditional boxing attack stance. "Bring it, lady!"
Tsunade circled around Kensei, Kensei watching for even the slightest muscle movement of an attack from his opponent. Tsunade then dropped her zanpakuto, Kensei kicking the zanpakuto away from him before it even touched the ground. Tsunade tried to use this opportunity to send a haymaker to Kensei's jaw, but he managed to sway in the nick of time, the attack only slightly brushing his cheek. Blood rolled down Kensei's chin as this occurred, Kensei's eye's widening in surprise as he realized how much power this woman packed in her punch. If she had actually connected, she would have instantly broken his jaw. Kensei straightened himself, realizing he would have to get serious. Kensei began to send several punche's at mach speed toward Tsunade, who dodged each of these with grace to Kensei's shock. As soon as Kensei threw his final punch, Tsunade took hold of his arm, judo flipping Kensei to the other side of herself. Tsunade did not let go of his arm, applying tremendou's pressure on Kensei's shoulder, seemingly trying to dislocate it. Kensei did a kip-up to his feet, using a quick karate chop to Tsunade's arm to give himself a chance to wrestle his arm away from her. Kensei followed this up with a kick to the fiesty woman's chest, allowing a bit of distance between them. This was not the case for long, Tsunade punching the earth itself, causing a massive hole to be created, about 10 diameter's in size. Kensei was swallowed up into the hole along with half of the field, Naruto using the flash step along with Hiyori to get to safety. Nagato used some type of teleportation to appear near Naruto and Hiyori, who looked over at the six individual's angrily.
"Where the hell are Love, Lisa, and Mashiro?" Hiyori grumbled as Naruto stood in front of her with his sword unsheathed.
"We gotta worry about that later, let's take care of these guys first," Naruto answered as Hiyori nodded in agreement, Nagato chuckling in response to all of this.
"Do you really think you stand a chance against me, Uzumaki Naruto?" Nagato asked. "As a fellow Uzumaki, I urge you to reconsider your decision here. There is still a chance Madara-sensei will forgive your past transgressions and allow you into the Akatsuki. I give you my word that I'll do everything I can. I at least owe Kushina that much..."
"How do you know my mother's name?" Naruto asked angrily as Nagato chuckled once again.
"Because, you are my cousin Uzumaki Naruto," Nagato stated as Naruto's eye's widened. "That's right, we are not just clansman. My father was your mother's older brother. He was the one who had made the decision when your mother was young to allow the Soul Society to seal one of the legendary beast inside of her, which gave birth to the legendary blade, Kyubiakuma. Which is now the sword that you wield... But I fear you will never master Kyubiakuma as your mother once did..."
"Shut up, I will become the greatest Shinigami to ever live!" Naruto shot back as he pointed Kyubiakuma at Nagato. "How about I prove it to you? One on one, none of your little flunkies over there."
"One on one? Well fine, I shall give you the chance to prove yourself worthy of that sword," Nagato replied. "How about we make a little wager?"
"I'm listening..." Naruto answered.
"If you can prove yourself worthy, not only will I retreat, I will give you the information you seek," Nagato answered. "But if you are NOT worthy, I shall take your zanpakuto Kyubiakuma, and you shall join the Akatsuki. Do we have a deal?"
"You couldn't even wield Kyubiakuma if you wanted to," Naruto boasted with a broad grin. "Fine, you're on!"
"Very well then, we have a deal," Nagato said as a sinister smile crossed his face. "Now show me cousin... show me what you can do with Kyubiakuma..."
