"I'm sorry, but that won't be possible," Grimmjow stated boldly as he stared at Toshiro with his signature twisted grin slithering across his face. "One of you will have the honor to play with me. Now, which one of you is the strongest?"

Rukia's stomach imploded as Grimmjow's right hand buried into it, a handful of her blood splashing out her mouth as Grimmjow now stood before her with a disappointed glare on his face.

"It's not you…" Grimmjow murmured as he pulled his hand out Rukia's stomach, Rukia falling to her knees with her eyes bulging out of her head in sheer shock. Grimmjow wrapped his right hand around Rukia's throat, lifting her into the air as he slammed his head into her face, before letting out a red cero in Rukia's face via his mouth. Rukia was sent flying across the city before landing into a building, Grimmjow letting out a hearty laugh as he let his spiritual pressure flood the area.

"Rukia!"

Grimmjow glanced over toward the area of the voice as the right side of his face was caved in by an angry Naruto's fist, Naruto's eyes burning a bright red with a slit in the middle where his pupils used to be. Grimmjow was pushed a few feet away, but still on his feet as he stared at Naruto with a satisfied grin on his face.

"So that's all it took huh?" Grimmjow asked savagely as Naruto's spiritual pressure was visibly seen circling his body in a fierce red aura. "But it's still not enough…"

Grimmjow appeared behind Naruto, who glanced back quickly as Grimmjow pressed both of his fist against each side of Naruto's temples with extreme pressure, before appearing in front of Naruto and burying his right fist into Naruto's stomach. Grimmjow then unleashed a speedy barrage of punches and kicks all aimed at vital areas of Naruto's body, attacking his chest, arms, legs, and throat. Grimmjow ended this combo with a knee to Naruto's sternum, before judo flipping his body into the ground neck first.

Naruto chuckled maliciously as he spit blood into Grimmjow's right eye, before following up with a tremendous punch to Grimmjow's jaw, which seemed to only infuriate the Arrancar. Naruto's aura shifted to white as he used his Shunpo to appear beside Grimmjow, who disappeared as soon as he witnessed Naruto appear next to him. Grimmjow appeared above Naruto with his right hand outstretched, which began to glow a bright red as he charged up a cero. Naruto using Shunpo appeared behind Grimmjow, who used the flash step yet again to disappear from Naruto's sight. The two began to use the flash step across the town, appearing above, behind, and even in front of each other several times.

"Damn, this guy is faster than my Shunpo," Naruto murmured aloud as Grimmjow appeared directly behind Naruto, slightly chuckling in his ear as he did. A drop of sweat rolled down Naruto's face as Grimmjow grabbed the back of his neck forcefully before he could escape. He began to squeeze, Naruto letting out a slight sound of discomfort before he elbowed Grimmjow in the chest, who in response added more pressure to the grip. Naruto began to elbow the Arrancar repeatedly, with the same result occurring.

"Is this all you've got?" Grimmjow hissed in Naruto's ear as he kicked Naruto in the back, sending him to the ground face first.

"I know I'm stronger than you!" Naruto howled as his spiritual pressure flared. "I won't forgive you for hurting Rukia! It's time to end this!"

Naruto held out his right hand, his broken sword appearing in his hand instantaneously.

"Now allow me to show you my true power! BANKAI!"

A red aura covered the entire city as Naruto's body was bathed in red light. Grimmjow stood in front of him with a devilish grin across his face, eagerly awaiting Naruto's transformation. As the light subsided, Naruto appeared in his Bankai state, a bold grin on the Shinigami's face as he glared at Grimmjow.

"You ready to fight…" Grimmjow began to quip before Naruto's zanpakuto cut his right arm clean off, before Naruto kicked him across the face, causing the Arrancar to slide across the pavement. Naruto dropped his zanpakuto toward the ground, appearing next to Grimmjow as this occurred. He hit the Arrancar with a vicious Shunpo combination, each punch and kick causing Grimmjow to cough out blood in agony. Naruto then appeared next to his zanpakuto, taking hold of the handle before it touched the ground.

"TENMAZEN!" Naruto roared angrily as he sent his signature attack at Grimmjow, who was seemingly blindsided by the blast. The three pronged red wave swept the Arrancar away in a dark red light, Naruto turning away dramatically.

"That's that," Naruto finally spoke, using the flash step to disappear from the area toward the other Arrancar and Shinigami who were in the process of finishing a giant battle.

Meanwhile, Ichigo was in the midst of a battle with Yammy and Ulquiorra, with Chad and Orihime both dragged into the conflict. As Yammy prepares to finish an incapacitated Ichigo, he is stopped by a bright, overbearing light that shined across the entire battlefield.

"W-Who is that?" Chad stammered as a Shinigami was seen standing before Yammy.

Ulquiorra looked mildly annoyed as Yammy looked shocked to see the Shinigami.

"Uchiha Sasuke…" Ulquiorra said disdainfully as Sasuke stood before a kneeling Ichigo, zanpakuto drawn as a stream of electricity covered the battlefield.

"I think you're having a bit too much fun Yammy," Sasuke stated as he held up his zanpakuto toward the Arrancar.

"Uchiha Sasuke, the man without a home," Yammy teased as he stared at Sasuke with a grin on his face. "I didn't see you in Hueco Mundo? Oh yeah, that's right I almost forgot that Lord Aizen deemed you unworthy and left you to fend for yourself in the Soul Society!"

"Yes, he left me a loose end, which I will soon make him regret," Sasuke retorted. "Now why don't you be a good lap dog and return home to your master? Leave these weak fools alone before you incur the ire of the Soul Society, which you've already drawn the attention of."

"So that's who I've been sensing," Ulquiorra murmured curiously as he glanced in the opposite direction toward the area where Naruto and Grimmjow were amid their conflict. "Yammy, kill him. I'll be back."

"With pleasure…" Yammy said with a sinister grin as he sent a mouth cero at Sasuke, who blocked it with his zanpakuto, using his zanpakuto to push the cero toward the sky, where it eventually disappeared.

"I know how strong you are Yammy, so how about I show you my full power?" Sasuke asked the Arrancar who chuckled brazenly as Sasuke said this.

"Show me!" Yammy roared as the ground began to shake from his own power, the Arrancar laughing maniacally as his spiritual pressure shot up. Sasuke smiled slightly as he stuck his zanpakuto in the ground, letting his own spiritual pressure increase. As it did, Sasuke's skin began to turn dark grey, growing a pair of webbed claw wings on his back. A dark star appeared on the bridge of his nose, his Sharingan activating upon transforming. A lightening aura covered Sasuke's body as he retrieved his zanpakuto from the ground.

"Time to die Yammy," Sasuke hissed as Yammy stared at the Uchiha with sheer shock written across his face.

Why is Sasuke helping Ichigo? Is he ally or enemy? Is Grimmjow actually defeated? And how does Sasuke have an Arrancar form? All will be answered… NEXT CHAPTER!
