Powers/Abilities: Quicksilver was a mutant capable of moving and thinking at superhuman speed. His top speed was clocked at Mach 10 but he isn't capable of maintaining that speed for longer than a few minutes. His metabolism is much faster than a normal human, allowing for faster healing. He can retain more information than normal human but only for brief periods. He can also vibrate at subsonic speeds.

History: Pietro was the twin brother of Wanda and the first-born son of Magneto. After his mother died, Pietro and Wanda were given the Maximoff family and raised in the country. He and Wanda were happy until their powers started to develop. Found by Magneto, he saved them from a mob and offered them a chance to join his Brotherhood. He was unaware of being Magneto's son at the time but he did later learn the truth.

After time fighting the X-Men and the Avengers, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch left the Brotherhood and joined the Avengers. Pietro enjoyed the spotlight and his role as a superhero. He eventually met the Inhuman Crystal after her marriage to the Human Torch ended and the pair soon wed.

When Crystal joined the Fantastic Four for a time, Quicksilver helped the team out on occasions. He is still active as a hero today.
