History: After her family stuck it rich in the oil fields, Theresa "Tex" Thompson began to travel around the world. She often found herself solving mysteries, usually with the help of her butler Bob Daley. Her reputation grew to the point where Special Prosecutor Mahoney appointed her special consultant to his office.

Thompson officially resigned to work with the war relief effort and left abroad the SS Angelus. While she was able to capture a saboteur, she was unable to prevent the ship from being sunk and was declared dead.

Washing up near Lisbon, Thompson vow to wage war against the forces of fascism. Taking the name Ms. America, she fashioned a costume and went to work waging a commando style attack against the Axis. Fighting for the spirit of America, she would whistle "Yankee Doodle" and would leave behind red, white, and blue feathers as her trademarks. She eventually reunited with Daley, who took on the name Fatman and aided her against fifth columnists.

Ms. America later joined the All-Star Squadron and served during the duration of the war. It was during the time Ms. America was selected by the government to become the Americommando and underwent intensive training. She was tasked to infiltrate higher circles of German and Italian society and send messages back to Allied command.

She operated successfully in both Europe and the Pacific but her final fate after the war is unknown.

Powers: Ms. America used a bullwhip and was professionally skilled with it. For a time she made use of a cape that enabled her to fly. It's final fate is unknown.

As the Americommando, she was given intensive training in many areas. She proved proficient in marksmanship, piloting, weightlifting, military operations, sleight of hand, disguise, and makeup. She was skilled enough to pose as various people with an emphasis on accents.
