The Bolded letters are them speaking inside their heads and the Bolded Italicized are thoughts. Enjoy!

"What do you mean, how am I awake?"Tim responded angrily. Danny's eyes were still wide at the realization that he could HEAR the vigilante inside his head.

Danny looked up at the air in front of him, it felt better to focus on something when talking out loud. "I mean, this has never happened before. Normally people are asleep when they are overshadowed… It's to make it easier to control the body." Danny grimaced. He really hated overshadowing.

Danny, surprisingly, could feel a slight bit of anger and maybe a little fear coming from his body that was not his own. "Get out of my body!"

Danny bit his —Red Robin's— lip in a form of habit. He slowly pulled one leg out from under the other and lifted himself up. "Okay, look man, this wasn't supposed to happen. And it will only be for a few minutes until I can get out of here."

"Why do you have to hijack my body to do it?" Danny could hear the slight growl in Red's voice.

Danny rubbed the back of his neck as he stood fully upright. "I don't really have much of a choice here! If it were up to me I wouldn't be overshadowing anyone, but this is my only way out. Because for some reason I can't phase out of this damn cave!"

"Get. Out. Of. My. Body."

Danny sighed. "Only a minute. I'll phase out of you and you won't remember a thing. Or at least you shouldn't." Danny put his now black-gloved hand to his chin.

Danny sensed the rising panic coming from the boy's body. 'Will I lose everything?'

The ghost's eyes widened. He wasn't sure if the boy was just thinking to himself or if that was a question directed at Danny. "No, just the time while I am in your body. Not all of your memories." He tried to reassure the teen. "And I can't access your memories from here either so you don't have to worry about your family or any traumatic and personal experiences that I might see. Let's make this as quick and painless as possible." Red just got more panicked, making Danny sigh.

Danny's eyes caught onto something in the corner of his vision, his eyes flicked to the side to notice a bunch of ecto-weapons on the other side of the bat-computer, as well as his belt and own weapons. He didn't even realize they had taken them off of him. He turned and walked over to the shelf.

)-(

Tim was starting to panic a little bit. Only a little bit! Okay, so there was a ghost inside his head. Well, head, body, and mind. This was bad. He had also let himself be controlled, Batman would be disappointed in him. But apparently, the ghost, or Phantom as he called himself, was surprised at the fact that Tim was awake? During this. And apparently, this isn't normal and he had caught the ghost by surprise, The former Robin counted that as a win in his book.

Tim was sentient, he could also see everything around him as if it were his own eyes. Maybe it was slightly hazy and the sounds around him were a little off but besides that, it just felt like he had been disoriented a little. That wasn't too bad. The worst part was that he could feel his own body moving; he could feel his weight, and the ground below him. But he felt disconnected.

The ghost had reassured him a couple times already that this would only be for a few minutes and that it wouldn't hurt him, that the ghost doesn't want to hurt him. But that doesn't mean that Tim won't stop fighting. But so far, fighting back mentally had been a lost cause. Nothing was working. All of his training for nothing.

The ghost had quickly noticed the table full of ecto weapons that Tim had been working on earlier, as well as the ghost's own belt that was on the corner of the desk. Dick had put it there after he had taken it off the ghost when they first shot it down. Tim had been planning to look through its contents later.

The ghost walked quickly over to the table. And his eyes glanced over all of the stuff mounted on the walls and the tech that was in the middle of being disassembled on the desk. His eyes narrowed as he glanced over the stuff. He reached his hand out to trace it along the sharp edge of a glowing green Batarang that Tim had been working on designing.

Tim could feel heat and a light sense of pain at his fingertips as his own hands touched the Batarang. Like it was hurting. The ghost scrunched his eyebrows together and pulled his hand away. 'Why are they making so much stuff? And where did they get it?' If Tim had eyes to widen, they would have. He heard the ghost's voice inside his head. Could he hear the ghost's thoughts like Phantom could hear his?

Tim felt the ghost's demeanor change, he paused and froze, like he felt the change in Tim's emotions. Tim decided to speak up. "We're trying to stop the ghosts from attacking Gotham city, and the Batcave. So far this has been the only thing that has been able to combat them."

The ghost in Tim's body froze, not moving. 'Could he hear my thoughts too?' Tim felt a little bit of worry and also surprise coming from his body that was not his own. It was strange to feel different emotions at the same time as your own.

"If you could hear my thoughts it's not much of a stretch." Tim responded.

The ghost scrunched his eyebrows together. "Fascinating." 'I just have to be careful what I think about him then.'

"I can hear you, you know!"

A smirk spread across Phantom's lips at Tim's comment. He reached out and grabbed onto one of the Fenton blasters that were half disassembled on the table. "So you're the one ripping these apart?" He raised an eyebrow and turned the machine ectoplasm cartridge was gone and the settings were being rewired.

"I'm trying to, anyway. I mean with this wiring it's a miracle that the Fenton's haven't accidentally killed anyone with it yet."

Phantom snorted and resisted the urge to laugh. "Right." He put the tech back down and quickly reached for his belt. He turned it over in his hands. 'No tracker, and nothing's missing.' The ghost hummed. Tim decided he was going to stay quiet when he noticed Phantom's thoughts, he didn't want to tip the ghost off too much. And it seems only stronger thoughts made it through the link.

He pulled out a phone that was clipped into the belt. Tim would have gone through that later if this whole thing didn't happen. The ghost quickly pressed the power button and looked at the broken screen. It showed over 70 missed messages and 12 phone calls, most of them from someone with the name 'Jazz'.

Tim felt worry and guilt bubble up in his —Phantom's— chest. Tim noticed that the phone was mere seconds away from dying. Phantom must have noticed it too because he quickly tried to press the message button. Only for it to die in his hands. "Crud." 'I hope she's okay.'

Tim spoke up "Who is Jazz?"

)-(

Danny paused at the question. 'Who is Jazz?' He couldn't really say, and he had to be careful what he thought. "It doesn't matter who she is. Like I said we'll only be a minute."

"It has definitely been more than a minute, Phantom."

Danny bit his lip. "Crud, sorry. I got distracted." He needed to get out of here as soon as possible. The last thing he needed was Batman showing up while Danny was snooping around. The sooner he was gone the better. The sooner he could get back to Jazz the better.

He quickly spun on his heel and slung his belt over his shoulder, he wasn't going to take off Red's belt and replace it with his own, that would be too obvious. If it was over his shoulder it would look like the vigilante was just working on more tech. Right now Danny was just glad that no one could see his eyes in this mask.

Well, at least he hoped not. Who knows if this mask protects against glowing eyes. Danny quickly sped over to the place where he saw the handprint pad to the exit. Or at least what Danny hoped was the exit and not a second cave. Danny felt like Batman would be the type to have a cave for his cave. But anyway.

He looked down at the hand scanner and back up at the door, and felt a bit of worry and shock coming from Red. "You can't go up there!"

Danny raised an eyebrow and faced a bit away from the door. "Why can't I?"

"I— you just, you can't."

Danny turned back to the keypad. "If you think that is gonna convince me not to leave, you need to work on your negotiation techniques."

Red was panicking now, what was wrong? He didn't have time for this. He just needed to get out before Batsy came home. Danny pulled the vigilante's glove off and placed it on the scanner. The doors to an elevator quickly opened. And Danny stepped inside.

Authors notes

Oooh, here we go! Up to the manor! What are Tim and Danny going to do in this situation? And what will the rest of the family think if they see him? lmao, this will be so chaotic.

With the mind link thing. I like to think of it a little like Megan's telepathy. Not exactly the same tho. Like you can still have your own thoughts but if you are thinking to yourself in your head in full sentences it could come through. They can also feel stronger emotions coming from each other at the same time! This is going to be fun.

I had so much fun writing this chapter, and there is more to come! I am so excited to write more and I hope you are liking the story so far! Please tell me what you thought of this chapter and if there is anything you want to see in the future! :D
