In a forgotten corner of the universe, where the boundaries of reality blur and the borders between life and death intertwine, a boy found himself there, while his lifeless body lay in the void. He heard a voice.

"¿So, do you wish to be reborn?" resonated the voice with enveloping warmth and an androgynous beauty that seemed to emanate from the deepest depths. Its tone suggested a harmonious blend of gentleness and firmness, as if woven with threads of understanding and wisdom.

I tried to open my eyes, but before that happened, the voice warned, "Don't try. If you see me, your mind will collapse, as the human mind is not capable of comprehending divinity." I got scared, so I kept my eyes closed and replied, "Thanks for the warning. I don't want to end up in a vegetative state." Though I was unsure how this worked, given that I was supposed to be dead or something, I decided to follow the advice of this divine entity to avoid problems.

"Returning to the question, I don't want to be reborn because I don't know what kind of world it is, and I may not be able to endure what awaits me there alone." I really didn't want to start everything over: friends, family, and eventually a partner. It was already challenging enough to do all of that in my world, and expecting to achieve it in another one entirely on my own seemed daunting.

"Fear not, you won't be alone," darn it, it seems like it can read my mind. "Wait, what do you mean?" I asked uncertainly.

"What you just heard, you won't be entirely alone, as before you, I sent two of your friends to that world, so you won't be alone." Well, that changes everything, and if that's the case, I have no doubts.

"Well, I accept the offer then. What will you give me? I know stories of this kind, and I know that before sending me to the other world, you'll grant me powers." Many powers came to mind: Gojo Satoru's Infinity, JoJo's Stands, Solomon's Wisdom from Magi, Ryner Lute's Alpha Stigma, Kamen Rider Zi-O's powers, Kumagawa's All Fiction, Yhwach's The Almighty, or even the Omnitrix. But before more came to mind, the voice spoke.

"None of those powers will be given to you; the power has already been chosen." I'm not going to lie; I'm somewhat disappointed I expected to choose it myself.

"Then, what is it?" I asked with some doubt, hoping it's not something like controlling water in a world where there's no water.

"Do you know the Fate franchise?" Well, it's not so bad, and before I could continue, I said, "Emiya, I want the power of Emiya."

"I haven't even finished explaining everything, but I'm not surprised; your friend responded just as quickly. He didn't even let me inform him about the world he was going to." Oh, I forgot to ask about the world I would be sent to. "Well, I won't prolong this any further. You'll go to the world of RWBY; you'll appear near your friends, so don't worry too much. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you, and goodbye." It handed me something like a tarot card, but with an archer in the middle, and I disappeared from that place.

Scene change

I felt the sunlight touch my face, and I heard a very familiar voice singing around me. "Chipi chipi chapa chapa dubi dubi daba daba." Kill me, I don't want to hear that song anymore; wherever I go, I hear it. The good thing is, I know they're my friends because I don't think this song is in another world too. "Could you stop singing it, please? That song is driving me crazy," I told them as I got up from the ground.

"Sure, it was just to verify that you were our friend, as even if I recognize your appearance, I wouldn't know if you're him, and in case you're wondering, you look like Shirou Emiya." Well, now I can say with complete certainty that I'm not ugly. "Well, thanks for telling me, and I understand. Being cautious is better than sorry." I looked at the person in front of me; we were almost the same height. He wore black shorts along with a white shirt, had on black sneakers, his skin tone was a bit bronzed, his hair was as white as snow, and he wore sunglasses.

"WAIT, WHY DO YOU LOOK MORE LIKE EMIYA THAN I DO?!" I shouted while pointing my finger at him. "I was the one who chose it, not you!"

"Hey, it's not like I'm identical to him; we just share some things in common," he said in a mocking tone, and it sounded very familiar. "Dorian, is that you?"

Dorian: "Indeed, ¡behold my greatness, for I am the one and only Dorian Wilde!" I just rolled my eyes at his narcissism; well, he has always been like that, and at least I know laughter won't be lacking.

Author's note: As I was reading this, I noticed that my image of Dorian was strikingly similar to Gojo's. This is probably because I was watching Jujutsu Kaisen S2 while writing this.

Dorian: "So, who are you?" Upon hearing the question, I remembered that my appearance has also changed. "It's me, Alex. And who else is here?" We were supposed to be three in total, and as I looked around, I managed to identify that we were in a somewhat dull and lifeless forest.

Dorian: "So, you're Alex, huh? Well, don't worry. The one with us is Leon, but he's checking the surroundings to see if he finds any trace of civilization." Ah, that explains why he's not here. "And why are you wearing that outfit, and I have the generic one of Shirou Emiya?"

Dorian: Easy, I asked the divinity that summoned us before it could send me here. Although I think it was a bit annoyed since I didn't let it speak. I didn't even know the world we were in until Leon told me we're in the RWBY world.

"So, it was you. Yeah, he mentioned you a bit." Truth be told, now that I look at him, he has a good style, and he doesn't look bad. "And don't worry either. Honestly, with the powers of the heroic spirits, there aren't many things that will be a threat in this world. Just an immortal witch that I can possibly kill and four useless maidens who keep dying."

Dorian: Well, that calms me down a bit since I don't know much about this world, and Leon only told me where we were before going off to explore. The good thing is that, from what you told me, I'm going to take things more calmly and kick the butt of anyone who needs it.

I watched as his body relaxed, releasing the tension that had been bothering him. Then I said, "Well, we just have to wait for Leon. He and I know this world, so we need to form a plan to live and save this decadent world." I'm very excited; my childhood dream of being a hero can finally come true.

Dorian: Works for me. If the world is destroyed, what's the point of having a second chance?

Now that I think about it, he hasn't told me which heroic spirit he chose. So I'm going to ask him, "And which one did you choose? You know I chose Emiya, but I don't know which one you chose. Although with your appearance, I think you also chose Emiya." He smirks arrogantly while gently lifting his sunglasses with his hand. I feel shivers; his golden, reptile-like eyes stare at me, and I feel that a mighty and majestic beast stands before me. Then, he proclaims loudly:

Dorian: ¡TO THE STRONGEST!

the author.

I want to express my gratitude if you are reading this. This is the first time I ventured into writing a story, and although I was a little scared to take the step from reader to writer, I decided to give it a try. And I want to clarify that I translated this with chatGPT so I'm sorry if there are mistakes.

Well, I'll leave you with the servants the protagonists chose.

Alex: Emiya

Dorian: Faerie Knight Lancelot/Melusine

Leon: ?

If you are curious about Melusine's appearance, it is important to note that she has no true form; the closest resemblance would be that of an amoeba. Upon meeting Aurora, she adopted a humanoid form to emulate her. Consequently, her current humanoid form is inspired by Dorian's appearance in his previous life.

I hope you can leave me some feedback to improve my writing because I feel like it's lacking, but I don't know what it is. Well, I won't waste your time any longer, so bye-bye.
