After having finished breakfast, Emma and Vivian went to the arts and craft's cabin to talk with the person who sent the letter.
"I asked only you to come, Miss. Lane," said a boy who was already there waiting.
"Sorry, but I felt that another counselor needed to be here," said Emma.
"Whatever you say here will just stay between us, unless it's something dangerous of course in which case we will have to go talk to the director about it," said Vivian.
"It's nothing like that, I just wanted to ask for some advice," said the boy.
"What kind of advice?" asked Emma.
"On how to confess to my friend that I like him," said the boy as he blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Hang on, let's back this up and start with your name," said Vivian who along with Emma were looking at the boy with surprised expressions.
"I'm Jason and my friend is named Marcus," said the boy.
"Does Marcus know that you're gay or are you still in the closet?" asked Emma as she sat down on one of the benches and motioned for Jason to sit across from her. VIvian also sat down next to Emma so they were both facing the boy.
"I've been out for a while now, in fact Marcus was the first one I came out to," said Jason.
"And what about him, where does he sit in all of this?" asked Vivian.
"Marcus came out at the same time as being pans," he said.
"We're lucky that both our families and several friends accepted us when we fully came out, but I don't know if he'll return my feelings, which is surprisingly even more nerve wracking," he said.
"Well there's only one way to figure out if he likes you or not," said Emma.
"Just be yourself and tell him how you feel, if he's a good friend like you say then things will go well no matter what his answer will be," said Vivian.
"You're right, I should just be me," said Jason with a smile.
