"Jorge always said he would never leave Reach…"
Rubble scattered with scarred pieces of clay smoldered the ground. The silence came over a ghost town. A once quiet and peaceful village on the planet of Ryloth is used now as a staging area for the Separatist alliance. Clones invaded the city less than half an hour ago, their shining white armor glistening in the light like knights in shining armor as the liberators they seem to be. The droid battalion responded deploying thousands of their infamous B1 Battle Droids to quell this attack. Marching through the streets in a column of ten wide, and over twenty-five deep they went through. One could hear their thunderous steps from a mile away. And all the clones in the area knew what was coming.
They barricaded themselves and used the empty buildings that were once used by families as homes and fortifications. The droid battalion came over the horizon outside the town and through the woods. The sun at their backs blinded them as the troopers now could see their numbers growing. An army massed to stop them, an army of robots sent to destroy the organic.
One of the troopers from the top of a hut leaned over and called out to a group of others, "Two hundred meters and closing!"
An orange 212th attack battalion officer in the group nodded and pointed to the rest of the men, "Get the traps set up and get those batteries online!"
"Yes sir!" they responded.
Another clone came running at the officer from the other direction, "Major Wall! Windu's forces have broken through! Their reinforcements are inbound!"
"Good, we are gonna need it—" the Major was cut off by the baffling sight. A purple orb came out of nowhere like lightning in the blue sky. A wound in the heavens opened and black and purple rattled the earth. An earthquake rubble and dust and debris began to shake off the buildings around. Clones yelled and chaotically distorted around completely dumbfounded by this event.
Finally coming through like a meteor entering an atmosphere, shards of metal and rock came down to the Earth. Fireballs plummeted down to the ground at shocking speeds eviscerating the dirt itself once it landed. Loud booms shook the ground upon their impact creating a reign of fire. The clones are in complete disarray and have no idea what is going on or what to do. The droids, however, still march towards their target without a care of notice in the world.
They began to open fire upon the troopers only a hundred or so meters away from the village. Their combined barrage of fire created a red hue that engulfed every square inch around them. It was impossible to avoid, all the clones just dashed for cover. A few were picked off from the rooftops, but the majority responded by firing from the buildings back to their opponents.
Metal and shrapnel still fell from the sky in random order, some even smashing into the buildings and the village. One even crushed a group of thirty or so droids upon impact in the center of their formation (which of course the automatons ignored and kept marching).
Six droids would fall for a single clone trooper. They were effective and deadly over the mindless drones. But the droids outnumbered them five two one, making this a close ordeal.
In the center of the fray, two troopers quickly assembled the battery their major was talking about. They hunkered down in one of the destroyed homes and began assembling. The mighty EWHD-12 heavy repeating blaster turret. It took them only a matter of seconds due to the military-grade attachments. Once the bipod and battery were connected to the main frame of the cannon, it let loose its firepower. A barrage of blue bolts melted the front line of droids like grass. This heavy cannon destroyed all in its path with little effort and maximum cover.
As the battle raged on it was unclear who was going to get an upper hand. But the droid army grew closer, now within walking distance of the village. Their numbers were seemingly endless. Like a sea of robots, their numbers swarmed. The sun above in its blinding nature cast a beating glare to the ground almost hiding the droid's numbers due to the gaze.
"Major!" one of the clones called out pointing to the sky. The purple wound in the sky burst from its bowels, a massive chunk of metal. Four miles wide of debris came in a massive chunk to the ground. Roaring in flames and engulfed in fire it blazed leaving a smoke trail so black in the sky, it was almost as if a volcano erupted.
It came right down to the droid and clones' direction. The Major turned to the few dozen or so clones hunkered in defensive positions mid-gunfight, "Fall back!" he screamed from the top of his lungs, "Everyone! Fall back!"
The troopers did their best to evacuate their defensive positions. They came out of the houses like bees to a nest all shaking and rattled as could be. With the droids in the village now, they had direct eyesight to the troopers. Scrambling to flee, a few white soldiers in the back were gunned down by the barrage of red lasers.
Chipping away the best they could, the group of twenty or so clones dashed to a hard right down the empty streets of the smoldered mud town. They could hear the bellowing fire from heaven coming in their direction as well as the droids behind.
It was so close. The droids' marching steps were drowned by this gigantic meteor. It molded to the ground forcing dirt and rock upward in a wall of brown. The fire scorched the earth it touched. A loud blast and shockwave were sent to it at incredible speeds only a couple hundred yards away from the troopers and droids. The floor itself rippled like an earthquake as droids were broken from their perfect line and toppled over, even destroying buildings and hills in its wake. The clones yelped and screamed as the blast overcame them, sending them flying forward and smashing into dirt and other things caught in the boom.
Black and Brown overcame the area as the giant wreck came to ease from the heaven which it came from. Black smoke lifted into the air covering the sky as the wind carried it for miles. Anyone and everything could be seen from many distances away.
With the wound in the sky fading it kept getting smaller until it was completely gone, just a few rippled clouds remained scarred and barred from the unnatural violent evocation that occurred.
The clones are gone, and so are the droids.
Throughout the wreck, purple hexagonal colors were left from their original creation but destroyed and barred. Sparks from technology are ridden in their nature. The remains of a mighty ship without purpose, mutilated from its majesty.
Desert scared and Baron torched to a glassy husk by the remains of the meteor landing. It was hard to see and hard to look through. But through the smog and gray was a single hexagonal pad destroyed and shattered past the original use of the forerunner.
A man, a giant man broad at the shoulders and covered in gunk and a sheet of metal, took a deep and thick breath of life. Grayed-out hair with a military cut, he seemed too old to be in service. But surprisingly when his eyes opened, they were rich and deep, having a fire within. Pure youth sprang from those eyes even inside of that old body.

Star Wars The Clone Wars
Ayo, I'm back! Sorry about the well… extremely long hiatus. I NEVER am delayed this long. Like normally two weeks to a month is about the average… not well like what six? Heh sorry about that y'all.
Essentially with college in the fall and my girlfriend up with me whom I had been dating for forever now, plus friends and well work, it was difficult to add this story to it. I know which is the good part. But I'm back!!! Anyway,
I also am aware this is significantly shorter than the average chapter that I write, this is because essentially I took this section off from another chapter. He didn't flow well with the original chapter so I had to split it off. Anyway, the next chapter should be out fairly soon and trust me… y'all will like it :).
Sorry that I'm gone, anywho, comments!
187 - I gotta keep it interesting :)
SupremeSongLeader - love the ideas. But we shall see. The nerdy thoughts are something I love to consider. Possibly with the first half, Rookie though I honestly have no clue. Ironically, as much as I am a halo nerd, I don't like halo 3 ODST. It was a neat spin but it's not my first pick if I told my friend "let's play Halo." I don't know, I didn't grow up with it as much as the others and I don't get the same nostalgic feeling, the flow of the game is something that I'm not used to and I guess it just kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
Everyone else - JORGE IS MY FAVORITE DONT WORRY HUNNIES I WONT FAIL U!!!!!
Again, thanks for holding out on me for so long. I'm sorry about the wait. Kinda forgot this story existed cause I was so busy. Heh, next one coming out soon! IM BACK BICHES!
