The ground shook. Mobius felt it. He fell forwards, and Rama Tut saw through a window on his door.

"What the hell's going on?!" Johnny shouted in surprise.

Marc looked at the door that separated him from Rama Tut, and he bashed open the lock with a crescent blade.

Tut laughed, but Marc grabbed him by the throat and punched him before throwing him against the wall.

Tut stumbled to his feet, unaffected.

Marc grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed him against the wall, holding him there.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

Tut continued to laugh, annoying Khonshu's avatar.

Marc threw Tut, and he was sent flying across the room before he landed on a table, breaking it with his body.

Marc was not pleased in the least. The man he swore to kill, the man he'd spared, the man he temporarily trusted. He'd been stabbed in the back by him.

Marc grabbed Tut and mercilessly began to wail on him, shattering his neme and causing him to bleed profusely.

Still, Tut didn't say a word.

Marc shouted in anger and, while not entirely in control of his rage, took his crescent blade and brought it down hard, stabbing deep into Tut's chest.

Tut coughed and wheezed. But still, he showed no weakness. He gave a small grin to Marc before he gave his final words.

"S...s-see you soon."

Tut died in Marc's grasp. Suddenly, his garbs and weapons disappeared. He'd made up his part of the deal. He'd killed Rama Tut. But he was free of the role of Moon Knight. He didn't know what would happen to Steven and Jake, who were with another group, still looking for Kang.

Reed stood in the doorway in horror.

"What... what'd you do?"

There was a moment of silence.

"I freed him. I freed him from his useless life."

Strange was growing ever closer in his killing spree. Nearly all of his variants were dead. Soon, he'd be the only remaining Strange in the multiverse.

A blue, star-shaped portal opened in the TVA room.

America Chavez, Wong, the Spider-Men, Deadpool and Bucky came out from it.

"So does that technically make you a handicap?" asked Deadpool.

"Your voice has rendered me unable to give a damn," replied Bucky.

"Hey, you guys feel that?" asked America.

Wong looked about.

"The forbidden spell of Gyestrod..." Wong trailed off.

"What the shit is that, grandpa?" asked Deadpool.

"A forbidden spell. One that can be used to wipe out variants... whole universes!"

"Then why's it being used?" asked America.

"Someone's got a death wish," shrugged Peter 3.

It suddenly occurred to Wong.

"...Strange!"

Within the Sanctum Sanctorum of another universe, a Strange was sitting in front of the window. Behind him, 616's Strange snuck behind in his astral form.

Before Strange could kill his variant, the other Strange turned and made a pushing motion with his hands, enclosing his soul within an orange box.

"You can't kill me. I've seen and heard about you. If you kill me, the multiverse dies!"

"Oh, grow up!"

"That's the difference between us. I already did."

616 Strange broke free from the box and flew directly at his variant, tackling him out of the window and into the streets of New York.

Variant Strange created a lightly visible, but orange machete and made a slashing movement with his hands, bringing it down.

616 Strange flew out of the way just in time.

Variant Strange opened a portal in front of 616 Strange, and he accidentally flew in as it was closed.

Strange had fallen through the portal and collapsed on his knees, before looking around.

He was outside somewhere, and it was snowing.

Strange got to his feet, and his heart sank at what he saw.

There was a frozen lake, and there was a gaping hole in it. The ice was cracked, revealing the water.

Strange was in the past. This was the place his sister, Donna, had died.

The variant Strange stood beside Stephen, a sympathetic look on his face.

"What the hell is this? Pity? A poorly thought-out trick?"

Strange threw an orange chain at his variant, but it was cast aside in a shade of purple and rendered useless.

"No. This, Stephen... this is what created us. This is where all our paths crossed and made us masters of the Mystic Arts."

"What's this gotta do with what I'm doing here?!"

"Every Strange was meant to cause destruction. Every one of us. It's all about Kang. It's what he needs! With and without us, Kang reigns supreme!"

Strange looked at his variant. Puzzled, perhaps, of his knowledge of Kang.

"And that has to do... what with Donna?"

"Every one of us have begun our paths from this moment. In the grand calculus of the multiverse..."

"A sacrifice... means infinitely more than a life."

"You can be part of the destruction... or you can be its doom."

Wong tried to use his magic on the crystal bubble around Strange, but it wouldn't work.

Sue tried to use her abilities to burst it.

Ben grabbed the sides of the bubble, and tried to pull it apart with his raw strength. As he strained, cracks formed and the bubble exploded, knocking everyone down.

Two Stranges stood where the bubble once was.

"The Kangs are waiting. We can't waste any more time."
