Hey, hey!
Nothing to add. Hope you enjoy the chapter!
Naruto and Sasuke both woke up to the smell of breakfast.
Sasuke woke up pretty warm. He didn't have to pull the blankets closer to him or anything. When he opened his eyes he saw Naruto on the other side of the bed facing him. One of his tails wrapped around Sasuke's frame and Sasuke was snuggling with it. Sasuke started to sit up and this fully woke Naruto up.
The young blonde stretched in the bed and Sasuke watched his nude body flex. All his defined muscles, his tails stiffing as he flexed. Naruto was really a work of art. Naruto grinned at Sasuke with his bed head and laid on his stomach as he looked at his other lover. "Good Morning."
Sasuke rested his head on Naruto's tail that came to caress him. "Hey." Naruto smiled at Sasuke's limited speech and rolled out of their bed. They showered together. That was new. They've never done that before. Even their three years on the training trip.
Today just felt different. Like the start of something better for the three of them. Everything just felt so unrestricted.
Hinata hummed to herself as she finished making breakfast. A relaxed smile on her face as she moved around the kitchen to set the table. She had woken up a little early, showered and decided to prepare breakfast. She hasn't felt this happy and carefree in a while. Last night was much needed as a reconnection for all of them.
Hinata wore one of Naruto's black shirts. It reached down to her knees and was a little loose around the collar area. She listened as Naruto and Sasuke made their way out the bedroom. Hinata shyly avoided their stares as she pulled the chairs out for them to sit.
Sasuke arched his brow at Hinata. She went back to her original reserved behavior now. It amazed him how she could be so sensual and desperate for love and attention during their sexual sessions, such a warrior and sharp as an arrow in battle. Yet in reality her true behavior was this shy, timid, graceful women.
Hinata placed Sasuke's tea in front of him and Naruto's coffee in front of him. The two males looked at the breakfast feast Hinata made and waited for her to sit down to join them to eat. Naruto eyed Hinata and how she shyly would look up at them while she ate. "I had a good time last night. What about you Hinata?"
Naruto's eyes lit up when he saw Hinata's face turn completely red and how she looked at him completely embarrassed. Last night was great. She loved every minute of it. She just wasn't used to openly talking about such behavior when not in the moment.
Plus. The things she said in the heat of the moment.
Sasuke watched Hinata. She looked like she would pass out soon if they kept questioning her. "Why are you so embarrassed? Is it because you made promises that you don't think you can keep now?" Hinata's red face turned to Sasuke and blinked at him. Like she was confused at what he was saying.
Sasuke arched his brow at her. She had to be faking. She knew what she said. However, Sasuke wasn't one to beg. He wasn't going to bring it up and demand for Hinata to keep her word. Especially when it was during a sexual heat of the moment. He was sure if he was over stimulated and worked up, he would be willing to say and do anything as well.
Naruto saw the aggravation on Sasuke's face. His lover way too dismissive and prideful to voice his frustration. His other lover too shy and reserved to voice her thoughts and ambitions.
The young blonde grinned at the two of them, "Come on Princess. Remember when your legs were on my shoulders and we were making LOVE. Remember what you said about marriage and family?"
Hinata, who was sipping her morning tea at the time, eyes widened and she started to choke on the warm liquid. "N-Naruto-kun?!"
Naruto placed his elbow on the table and rested his chin in his palm as he looked at Hinata with his multicolored eyes shining. "Don't act like that Hinata. You can admit that you were just talking during the moment. I'd actually take pride in the fact I can get you to act like that." His grin became more conniving and malicious. His two tails danced slowly behind him. "It lets me know you're not going anywhere. You or Sasuke. You'll miss what I can give you too much."
Sasuke looked at Naruto and gave him a pointed look, and Naruto said he was the cocky one. "Shut up dobe." Naruto's smoldering look gravitated to Sasuke, and the young Uchiha ignored him with a faint blush.
Hinata was silently taking deep breaths out her nostrils. She was a person that regularly got cold, but it was heating up in their home. "I umm. I didn't forget. I just sent for one of the helpers to go down to get our marriage paperwork so we could sign it. Also, to schedule our appointment to wed. I-I…I figured one in the afternoon would be fine. W-We need one witness each."
Naruto and Sasuke both were taken for a loop there. Naruto's grin slowly turned into a genuine smile while Sasuke looked at Hinata curiously. Naruto has really good hearing, when did she sneak off and do that? "What? When did this happen?"
Hinata smiled as she resumed eating her breakfast. "A server came to offer her services to clean or wash. I declined the service, but instead I asked her to run those errands while I clean and cook. You probably did not hear our conversation Naruto-kun."
Sasuke kept his eyes on Hinata. He was happy that Hinata wanted to keep her word, but just this little sneaky move here. It made Sasuke think about things. She was sneaky. Hinata has always been sneaky since he could remember. She'd downplay her skillset. She'd downplay her weaknesses and strengths. Hinata would pretend she didn't have a temper when it's come out to play multiple times. She could hide her addictions and was overall too sly.
Sasuke remembered when Hinata offered to take Naruto out for his birthday to his favorite ramen spot. During rush hour, which she personally hated but hid. She did all of that. Paid for everyone's food. Just to have no intentions of staying. She planned that from the very beginning.
Hinata was sneaky. She also still needed to work on herself.
Her independence grew exceptionally. Even with her nervous breakdown during Orochimaru's rein over her. Hinata handled it better than a lot of ninja's Sasuke knew that didn't have an addiction they were recovering from. To Sasuke, it wasn't really fair Naruto and himself worked on their issues for three years. They came back with maturity and a better insight on what they wanted.
That wasn't to say they were perfect, but they weren't as stressed as Hinata was right now. In her own way, she has the world on her shoulders. A whole clan to lead and that relies on her heavily. During a time that they might fight an epic battle. She just lost her father and was put through a mental trial that Sasuke wouldn't wish on his worst enemy. Hinata was 18 and still growing, yet she had no time left to grow and make mistakes.
Sasuke would imagine Hinata was miserable inside. It took time for Sasuke to learn, but people like Hinata. People like Naruto and Itachi. They took on so much and just cracked on the inside. Until they couldn't hold it in anymore.
"You don't have to do this. There is a wide list of things you have to do. We have to prepare for this suicidal mission. Your father's funeral service is tomorrow. You do not have to keep this promise to us. It can be pushed back."
Hinata blinked at Sasuke. Almost taken back by his words. Like he was rethinking the whole thing. "S-Sasuke-kun? Why do you say that?"
Naruto arched a brow and looked over at Sasuke. He kind of could pick up on what Sasuke was getting at. Hinata's mental state. Starting a family right now was out of the question. Naruto WANTED children with Hinata. Very much so. However, Hinata had to be okay. Mind, body and soul. She couldn't keep hiding things from them.
Sasuke wasn't Naruto. Just because Hinata's feelings were getting crushed, that didn't mean Sasuke was going to sugar coat anything. "You really want to marry us? Today?" Hinata never broke eye contact as she looked at him. "Yes."
Sasuke nodded his head at her. He was hoping he'd back Hinata up against a wall and hit her with this ultimatum soon. "Okay. After we get married. After the mission. Go get counseling. Not by a counselor that your family picks out either. Someone that will actually abide by the rules."
Sasuke absolutely hated that rehab Hinata did when they were younger. He later found out it was a rehabilitation center that was on the Hyuga payroll along with the therapist working there. Who knows what they were pushing through to Hinata. She came out clean and sober, but she also came out more closed off and paranoid. More conniving and secretive.
It also made Sasuke question since that rehab was on the Hyuga payroll. How many times did Hinata's mother get secretly sent off there so the people around the village wouldn't know? He could see that happening.
Also, the more Sasuke thought about it. The more the dots were connecting. Hinata was a minor in rehab. If she told the therapist about abuse she's gone through, proper protocol would get her taken away from Hiashi.
Yeah. No therapist connected to her family.
Hinata's eyes widened and Sasuke could see the rebuttals on the tip of her tongue. Hinata has done counseling before. She didn't like it and after rehab, quickly dropped it. She didn't like people analyzing her. Trying to get her to expose things that didn't need to be discussed.
Sasuke held a hand up to stop her from talking. "No one is perfect. I am not perfect. Naruto is not perfect. Not even your brother. We all have faults that we've been working on. You've been working on fulfilling your vengeance. That is not healing or fixing anything. Let's be realistic here. Me and Naruto promised you a better version of us. You promised us a better you. Being sober is just a start, you know there is layers when it comes to you Hinata. "
Naruto reached over and held Hinata's hand. He smiled at her brightly and could see the clouded look in her eyes. He could imagine all the dark thoughts flooding in her mind. He could also imagine how Hinata's mind was trying to go into overdrive to make sure certain topics weren't talked about right now.
It made Naruto and Sasuke wonder. Who was Hinata protecting? Surely if this heavy secret she's holding was just about her, just like her alcohol addiction, Hinata would have told them by now. For her to hold this in and let it eat at her. It had to involve her and a few other people that they actually knew.
Hinata was still silent and played with what was left of her food with her fork. She didn't like to be the center of attention. She didn't like to have her faults pointed out like this. She wasn't disagreeing, but it still hurt to hear how they really felt.
Sasuke reached over and took her hand that was holding her fork. He pushed the fork out her hand and laced their hands together. "I can feel you sinking. Stop it." Hinata's bottom lip trembled slightly, "Y-Y-You…don't want to marry me?"
Sasuke inched closer to Hinata. They weren't far apart from one another anyways. Sasuke studied her face as he looked at her. She was really a beautiful fallen angel. Any man would be lucky to have her. Hinata just grew up thinking everything she did made her unattractive. Not worthy of a man.
That's all Sasuke heard about Hinata while on team seven, so he knew it got stuck in her head. Fear that she was tainted too much to be married and have a family. "Shut up Hinata." Sasuke poked her forehead and watched Hinata furrow her brows together, both from being flustered and upset from being told to shut up.
Naruto smiled at the two. He scooted closer to Hinata and rested his head on her shoulder. Enjoying being close to her. Sasuke tilted his head as he looked at Hinata. It was easy to read her now that he knew and understood her. Years ago she was a mystery to him and it made him nothing but angry.
"I want to wed you. I wouldn't have asked you to have my children if I wasn't planning on marrying you. I want to do it today, but I want you to promise me what I asked from you." Sasuke leaned over and closed his eyes as he pressed his forehead against Hinata's. "Koibito. Promise me."
Hinata's cheeks became rosy and she nodded her head as she closed her eyes as well. Sasuke being open to her always was her weakness. She always submitted to him that way. Hinata was beginning to think Sasuke knew this. "I-I promise. I will."
Sasuke pulled back and nodded his head at her. He leaned back and picked up his tea, "Itachi will be my witness then." Hinata's eyes widened and brightened up again. She bit her bottom lip and watched as Sasuke used one finger to pull her bottom lip out. He looked at her amusedly and this made her blush again.
Sasuke was too handsome for his own good. He knew how to make her re-evaluate things without making her feel bad. Aside from Neji, Sasuke was very helpful and knowledgeable on managing politics within her clan. He was quiet, observant and charming. Topped with that arrogant, hot-headed temper that Hinata used to not favor. Now it put her on cloud nine.
"Oh! Well umm, I will have Neji as my witness. I am sure he will want to plan a regular wedding in the future. He would be upset if the whole clan didn't get to watch their clan leader wed." Naruto rolled his eyes at this. "Eh. A real wedding Hinata? That's why I gave the idea of just legalizing it alone."
Naruto immediately regretted how he said it. He was new to living a life like this. He wasn't used to all these grand events and lavish lifestyles. He was a low-class ninja. Sure he had goals and dreams of being a Hokage, but THIS specific lifestyle he was living right now was just…too much.
Naruto sat up and looked at Hinata. Waving his arms around defensively. "L-Look! Before you take it the wrong way. Remember I asked to get married today. It's just hard Princess. It's going to take me time to adjust to this lifestyle. For years when we were young and starting out on a team. I watched you come to us MESSED UP Hinata. Bruises everywhere. You didn't feel like you had the right to look a certain way because you thought of yourself unworthy or too weak. Now we're living in the same place that gave you hell since you were 6. These people are in my face asking if I need anything all the time. Treating me like royalty."
Naruto shook his head and tapped his finger on the table. "When in reality I know what they think of me as. I don't know. I sometimes feel like all of this is crazy. Unauthentic. They treated you so BAD. Then they admit it! In front of us. The day you killed your grandfather and showed your dark chakra. I was proud of you. I also wanted to knock your families head off. They think they can just say, 'Yeah we treated you bad, sorry, let's move on' and everything is fixed? It's just so fake to me."
Hinata slowly nodded her head as she looked at Naruto. "I agree. I am sure a lot of it is unauthentic. I know that. Neji knows that. My father had more closet opposers than actual supporters. I know a great deal of them respected my grandfather and Danzo. That they opposed what I did. Naruto-kun…I umm. I don't really care."
Naruto looked at Hinata confused. She smiled at him and squeezed his hand as she still held it. "They're going to respect me and Neji. I faced a lot of backlash from removing Neji's caged bird seal. I had reached a point in my life years ago, that didn't care about their opinions. As long as they respect me and my orders."
If they didn't respect her orders. Now she made it very clear they would end up like her grandfather.
Naruto read in between the lines. He grinned at her. She was such a firecracker when she wanted to be. Hinata's eyes traced Naruto's face. "Neji wanting a wedding is more of a political stance Naruto-kun. The unification of the Uchiha-Hyuga-Uzumaki and Namikaze clans would be a big deal that will go across all the nations. I know my brother. He's thinking about the future of the Hyuga clan."
Hinata giggled as she watched Naruto roll his eyes. He should have known he was being used as a political scheme. Neji could be so ruthless. Sasuke stood up to take their empty plates. "If we're going to go. Let's get dressed."
"A wedding would be better suited for you Hinata. This is just…not what I'd expect from our clan leader."
Naruto and Sasuke frowned at Neji. They were able to go to the jewelry shop to find additional rings. Sasuke had a set for Naruto and Hinata. Hinata had a set for Naruto and Sasuke. They were able to scrounge around Itachi, Jiraiya and Neji and STILL make it on time to get everything legalized and to have a private ceremony at 1 in the afternoon.
Both males looked at Neji like they wanted to knock his head off. Hinata nervously smiled and looked at Neji with a pleading look to stop. "Brother. I promise we will have one after our missions are over and everything settles down. We are just legalizing it."
Neji looked unimpressed with the answer, "Hn. If this is what you want Hinata."
Sasuke shot Neji an annoyed look. Was he implying this wasn't what Hinata wanted? Neji spoke like they were brain washing Hinata, when in reality Neji was the one brain washing her. Putting doubt in her head right now.
Sasuke has never liked Neji to begin with. He never forgave the fact Neji knew Hinata had an addiction problem and enabled her. That he was one of the people that made her training sessions into a beating session. So, Sasuke had no problem in engaging with Neji negatively. "It is. If you ever talked to her about anything other than your 'precious' clan, you'd know this is what she wanted."
Neji smirked at Sasuke. He talked a lot. Could he back it up? "Funny. I shared a home with my sister all my life. Never heard her say anything about making this relationship thing you three share into a legalized marriage. Three years go by, you two come back. Now she wants to randomly legally wed you? She's 18."
Naruto and Sasuke saw the way Hinata looked at Neji. She was totally caught off guard with that comment. Clearly she picked up on the over fabrication Neji was spewing. The look on her face showed them that Neji was going back to his dick head ways of manipulating a situation so Hinata could sway his way.
Why the hell was Neji acting like this? Why was them getting married and growing closer bothering Neji so much?
Naruto furrowed his brows at Neji, "What the hell? She's 18. We're all 18. Literally about to be 19. Well, except Sasuke. Still, we're all the same age range. You think we made her do this?" Neji shrugged his shoulders at this. "Why else would she actually want to move back to the Hyuga compound? I'm still trying to figure that out. Must be nice to have the added space for you two."
Sasuke looked at Neji suspiciously. Neji was protective, but this was insane. He was making things up. It seemed like he was trying to protect something between him and Hinata. Sasuke couldn't pinpoint it and he was growing much too angry to try.
Naruto made a 'what the fuck' face. Hinata has said multiple times that she wanted to permanently live in the Hyuga compound. At the river she made that very clear. He remembered specifically in the letter Hinata sent them about temporarily moving in with Neji. It was never permanent to Hinata. Yet, it was to Neji? He's trying to box her in and this secret shit was pissing Naruto off because Hinata was letting Neji do this for some reason.
Neji right now was implying Sasuke and Naruto were using Hinata. Which was odd, because while they were gone, Neji supported their relationship. Right now Neji felt cornered, Naruto and Sasuke could see that. That's why he flipped his whole personality on them.
The hot-headed blonde looked at Neji like he grew two heads, "You know what Neji? I owe you an ass whooping. We can leave this ceremony and take this somewhere else. You're a prick. You know that? I didn't want to move into the compound. Hinata wanted to. I did it because I love her! I did ask her to marry me, because I have fucking BALLS and I'm a man. That's what men do. You got anything else to add?!"
Neji stood in front of Sasuke and Naruto. His grin never faltered. "I do."
Hinata stood in the middle of them and spread her arms so they would separate. She saw Itachi and Jiraiya standing beside Naruto and Sasuke while Neji stood alone.
Alone. Like the rest of her family. Alone against all of Konoha. Against the world it felt like.
Neji and Hinata. It's always been them against the world. Against their demons. Neji has been cruel to Hinata, but he's never steered her the wrong way. He's never lied to her. Not listening to Neji was hard. It was a weakness of Hinata's. She needed him. Very badly.
Neji didn't trust people anymore. He didn't trust outsiders with the burdens him and Hinata carried between them. He didn't want Naruto and Sasuke in that part of their world yet. Neji was hurting and Hinata hated to see it. She was used to being Neji's secret holder while he was used to being her protector.
Hinata looked at Naruto and Sasuke, and frowned. "Please stop." Naruto's eyes widened because Hinata couldn't possibly be defending Neji right now. In no way, shape, or form was this their fault.
Sasuke saw the look on Hinata's face. She depended on Neji in a deeper way than she did him and Naruto. She was protecting Neji right now and this was not going to continue to happen if Sasuke had anything to say about it. "Hinata." That was his warning. Fix this Hinata. Fix it NOW.
Naruto gave Hinata a look that said he was getting upset. That he didn't like what was happening right now. That if she didn't dissolve the situation in the next few seconds he was going to lose it.
Hinata then turned to Neji with the same frown. "We cannot isolate ourselves from Konoha brother. We cannot turn on them. Please don't let your dark thoughts invade your good judgement of people."
Neji looked away from Hinata and straightened his layered white robes he wore. Hinata wore white robes as well and they matched perfectly. Neji's hair was down and his front bangs were pulled back to a low ponytail that mixed in with his hair that reached his lower back.
Still sticking to family tradition. Neji and Hinata had small hair jewelry that symbolized their status and position in their clan. Hinata with elegant hair decorations that symbolized the sun and the moon. Wearing an historic-traditional halo for her back hair piece. She wore dark red lipstick and the two looked elegant, without even trying.
Hinata held Neji's hands. He could be so stubborn sometimes. Especially with people outside their clan, however Naruto and Sasuke were family. She smiled at her brother and Neji tried his hardest not to look at her.
"You know I moved back to the compound because that was father's and my own wishes. Our clan needs us now more than ever. They're hurting."
Neji finally looked at Hinata. "They're hurting because of outsiders. They are outsiders. How can you trust people so easily?"
Sasuke looked at Naruto and could tell he was about to go rampant on Neji in any moment. THEY hurt the clan? Neji had the NERVE to categorize them to people like DANZO.
Hinata smiled at Neji and shook her head. "They are not the people that hurt us. They are the ones who stopped the people that hurt us. They're on our side brother. You can trust them. You…you told me one of the reasons father failed was because he didn't trust outsiders. That he didn't share the burden and open himself."
Neji almost scuffed. "That was before he was attacked. The clan was attacked. Lord Hiashi died from the attack and his service is tomorrow. You're wedding two people that left you for over three years. They pop back up and all hell breaks loose again. Hinata, use your head. Now is not the time for this. Don't argue with me about this."
Life was better before those two came back.
Jiraiya held Naruto in a bear hug. He smiled at his God son and whispered in Naruto's ear to calm down. His fox features were starting to appear and his chakra was becoming suffocating.
Hinata furrowed her brows at Neji. Clearly upset with what he was saying. She further walked away from the small ceremony to have a private word with Neji. "Naruto and Sasuke helped me. While I was ill. They've been there for me. Neji…I love them."
More than I love you. Please don't let me lose you, like I'm losing Hanabi.
Neji shook his head as he looked at her. The two still holding hands. Neji squeezed her hands to show how upset he was. "No. You've been there for them a lot more. You've had to degrade yourself on missions for them. Heal yourself for them. Let them leave to better themselves while you stayed behind. Even when things became dangerous you stayed and defended your family. Now they want you to drop everything for them. For their selfish needs."
Neji closed his eyes as he forced out what was really bothering him. "Hinata…they can't know about our family affairs."
It was a temper tantrum. Hinata knew this. Her brother was pulling every trick in the book to keep Hinata to himself. Neji was used to protecting Hinata. Being her ear and the person she relied on. She never really had to rely on Naruto or Sasuke until now.
Plus. There were other things Neji didn't want to get out just yet. It was inevitable, but at this point Neji and Hinata weren't ready for people to know. Neji knew Hinata wasn't ready. It would consume her and ruin years of progress and sobriety. Hinata wasn't ready and Neji was realizing just how much he wasn't ready. How it was mentally starting to affect him.
Hinata smiled gently at Neji as he opened his eyes to look at her. "Do you really feel that way brother? Do you really see them as the enemy? After all they've done for us?"
The older Hyuga scowled and looked over to a seething Naruto and Sasuke. "No. They just annoy me. Especially now that Naruto has to pick and choose when to show his fox ears and tails. Really Hinata."
Neji smiled when he heard Hinata giggle. "Our relations with Konoha will even out Neji. Please do not treat Naruto and Sasuke like they do not have my best interest at heart. They've even convinced me to…seek a counselor. After our mission. Before starting a family."
Neji arched his brow at this. He's been suggesting this for years and Hinata has been passively dismissive of it. Neji didn't see a problem with it. He started to see a counselor himself. "Really? Well I take back what I said then. I guess I have to hand you off to them in good faith. It's no easy thing to do."
Hinata nodded her head in understanding. "The actual wedding. Kakashi-sensei will be there to hand me off. It is the right thing to do." Neji smiled in agreeance. He leaned his forehead towards Hinata's and the two closed the distance. "I apologize. I said I wouldn't question you anymore. I'd always follow your lead. I trust you Hinata."
Naruto watched the scene and Sasuke looked at him with a blank face. "Don't say it Naruto." Said person frowned deeply and looked at Sasuke. Jiraiya still holding him in place.
Hinata smiled at this and leaned back to look at Neji. "Our family will be great again. I plan to make our future bright for my nephew. Since he will be taking my position in the near future."
Neji straightened himself back up and the two made their way back to Hinata's soon to be spouses. "No. That makes no sense. Your children will be next in line." Hinata smiled as they finally reached Naruto and Sasuke. She still held Neji's hands and smiled. "I override your decision. My clan, my choice brother."
Neji shook his head and lightly chuckled. "Okay. You win." He took a deep breath as they all stood in front of the marriage administrator and the legal document to bind Hinata with Sasuke, and a now freed Naruto. Neji looked at Naruto and it took a lot from him, but he pushed it out. "I apologize." He then looked at Sasuke, "To both of you."
Neji took Hinata's hands and guided one to Sasuke and the other to Naruto. "Thank you both for all you've done for Hinata, myself and our clan. I hope you'll take my apology and know you are now family."
Neji bowed respectfully when he said this. He leaned up to see Naruto and Sasuke still giving him a heated look, but was more accepting now. Oh, they were pissed Neji decided to do this right here and right now.
Jiraiya leaned over and elbowed Itachi to whisper to him. "What do you think she said to him? He's singing a different tune now." The legendary sannin cracked up silently to himself and Itachi covered a grin. "I've heard she can be very stern when she wants to be."
Neji shot the two of them dry looks before standing in his respectable position behind Hinata as the small ceremony began.
Naruto wore a beige kimono with whirlpool designs etched on it and orange strips. He still wore his lavender earrings and was without his forehead protector. He asked Hinata if she wanted him to cut his hair, but she declined. She loved his hair the way it was. She loved Naruto.
Sasuke wore a dark purple kimono. The collar was a lighter purple and the stripes were red. His kimono was more solid. Less attention grabbing as Naruto's, but suited Hinata's solid white angelic look. He switched his lavender stud earrings for lavender and dark purple dangle earrings. The diamond shaped piece dangling at the end. Sasuke also didn't have his forehead protector, but always kept his hair the same style. His bangs only had gotten a bit longer.
Hinata gently squeezed Naruto and Sasuke's hand. To ease their nerves from what just happened. Trusting her that she handled everything and it was under control.
Naruto lifted her hand he was holding and kissed it. He closed his eyes and cherished this moment before he turned to look and listen to the administrator. Everything else happened so smoothly and before they knew it. The three had solidified their union on paper and in front of their loved ones.
After the ceremony. Hinata had made lunch for everyone. Packed neatly in a basket that they took down to Hinata's favorite lake. Sasuke helped Hinata fold out a large blanket and Naruto laid out the food. Kakashi even tagged along for the after celebration.
"Hinata. You made food to eat. Not share with animals." Kakashi chuckled at Hinata as he watched her happily feed a tiny squirrel that approached her as she was near the water. Hinata had kneeled down to the woodland creature and offered it food. The amazed squirrel looked up to her like she was a walking mother nature.
Hinata's bright mystical eyes looked at her sensei calmly. She smiled when she turned to look at Naruto and Sasuke. The two males looked at her calmly, as they watched in amusement, their wife silently enjoying herself. This was her environment. Hinata was happy here.
Jiraiya looked over at Naruto and smiled at him. His God son. He's grown so much and accepted who he really was. Just looking at him. Lovingly looking at his wife, and comfortable to call the man beside him, his husband. It brought a huge relief to Jiraiya. That Naruto was going to be as happy as his father was. "You're lucky kid. A beautiful woman like that doesn't fall in love with men like you and me every day."
Naruto, who was sitting on the ground with Jiraiya, tilted his head as he looked at Hinata lovingly. "I know. I can't believe…she's actually been mine before I even knew what love was. She stayed by my side and waited for me to not be an idiot. You're right. Not a lot of men are this lucky."
He'll make sure he never messes this up.
Sasuke sat beside Itachi as he watched Hinata frolic with nature. She had this love and care in her that he knew he could never offer. Sasuke was cursed with having darkness constantly flood him, but he'd do anything to make sure Hinata wasn't like him. "Brother. You have something precious here."
Sasuke nodded his head at Itachi. The older Uchiha smiling as he spoke to his brother. "She'd do anything for you. She showed you she would go through extreme pain for you. I'm sure it wasn't easy dealing with her in pain like that. Hearing foreign hateful words from her, but it appears to me, the outcome was worth it."
Sasuke smiled at this and continued to look at Hinata. "I never thought she'd forgive me from our rough past together, the least I could do was forgive her for what she said while she wasn't herself. We'll be together for eternity. I'm sure there are many other stories we'll create together."
Hinata smiled as she looked up at Neji, who approached her to watch the animals frolic around her. "Hinata. Do Naruto and Sasuke know where you put Danzo?" Hinata stood up and smiled at Neji, "Of course. Naruto-kun helped me hide him." Neji arched an amused brow at her. His sister was a very wicked person.
How could you be so innocent and yet so evil?
Hinata smiled brightly at Neji, she then looked across the lake to a large wooden oak tree. The frantic chakra of a jailed man imprisoned in said tree just thrashing around. Screaming for freedom. She then looked over at Naruto and Sasuke. The two looked back at her with love.
What they were willing to do for her.
Was vicious.
