Sayu interlaced their fingers while slowly stepping away from him, gently tugging him along behind her towards the stairs that sat in the center of the foyer. The raven paused slightly at the base of the stairs, Sayu set her foot on the bottom stair. "Uh." His eyes shifted towards the living room before returning to her and shifting up the stairs. "Are you sure you want to proceed with this?"

Fully stepping onto the bottom step her golden eyes fell onto the hesitant man. Staring directly into his eyes, Sayu tugged his hand with slightly more force. "That can wait. Unless you don't want to go upstairs."

"I didn't say that."

Sayu smirked deviously at him. "Then don't speak." He opened his mouth to respond as she held up her finger to her lips. "No one told you to speak right now." She internally laughed when the raven shook his head very slightly as his mouth opened slightly agape with a perplexed expression. She tugged at his arm gently once again and was pleased with the compliance.

Gently pulling him down the upstairs hallway, she felt resistance again. Her eyes flicked back towards Beyond, expecting to see more hesitant behavior. Only to be met with a darker stare as he turned the handle on the door to his room. The door creaked open, as she was pulled into a possessive hold, one arm wrapped around her waist the other holding her back tightly. She shuddered out as teeth gently grazed her neck, causing her breathily moan out. "Oh. That's new."

A deep chuckle was heard against her ear before he whispered hotly. "You weren't mine before." Her eyes seemed to flutter shut as she felt herself leave the floor. She gasped as she was playfully tossed on a bed.

Opening her resplendent eyes, and allowing them to curiously discover the room she'd never been in previously. A darker color on the walls, though, with no lights, it was hard to decipher what color it was exactly. Darker colored accents throughout and on the windows, she even noticed the windows themselves seemed to have a black out covering on them aside from the black out curtains. "What's different now?"

"Now you are. That is the choice you made just now." The sound of his deep voice seemed to send shivers up her spine.

Sayu lifted herself from the mattress with her elbows. "Am I now?" She smirked at him as he leaned in onto the mattress with his arms. "Prove it." She could feel a smile coming to her lips as a gentle hand traced her jawline before fingers gently hooked the back of her neck, pulling her closer causing her to quietly gasp before their lips met once again.

The bed fully dipped next to her as the embrace deepened, his tongue grazing her bottom lip. Leaning towards him, Sayu grasped at Beyond pulling him as close as possible while parting her lips to allow the kiss to continue to intensify. She felt his hands trail down her body, catching the hem of her shirt. She felt him smirk in the kiss as he pulled away suddenly and ripped her shirt over her head leaving her to lay there stunned for a moment. As she came back to her senses, she could see the slightly lit silhouette of Beyond pull his own shirt off. "Please don't make me deal with your bra, I'd sooner cut it off you."

She sat up and playfully joked towards him. "Oh really? Well, I suppose if anyone was going to, it'd be you." Her chiding tone immediately flattened when she felt the cold spine of a knife glide up against her back as her undergarment fell from her.

"I told you, didn't I?" He huskily whispered into her ear. "Don't make me fight the rest of your clothes." She took a deep sensual breath as she pulled at her own clothes hastily, watching his darkened form from the corner of her eye.

She flashed a lustful smile as she was pinned to the mattress once again. She flinched slightly when she heard the knife be thrown and sink heavily into the wall opposite of the windows. "I'm not sure how much more teasing I can take." Sayu shuddered as she felt fingertips trail down her sides as a soft kiss landed on her plush lips. Entranced by the embrace, Sayu leaned upwards into the kiss, as their lips parted Sayu sighed out sweetly. "Please, don't make me wait anymore."

She gasped loudly as she was pulled upwards as he fell back onto the bed, leaving her perched on his hips as he murmured to her. "So, don't."

Slowly opening her eyes, Sayu blinked a few times tiredly. As her eyes came to full focus, they drifted around the unfamiliar settings before drifting down towards the arm that remained possessively wrapped around her. She smiled bittersweetly at her thoughts. 'Nine times. We've slept together eight times prior and this is the first time I've woken up in his arms. And this was the first time he's ever kissed me during… that definitely meant something, this pastime wasn't just a hookup to him.'

Her smile softened as she felt his soft breaths on her back before a daunting realization came to mind. 'Oh shit. The mochi…' She reached for her clothing that had been discarded the night prior, but hissed quietly at the throb that was sent through her body as she tried to move. 'Yep. He's a biter with the endurance of a triathlete.' She winced through the superficial pain, only to realize the bruised sensation seemed to be everywhere on and throughout her body.

Groaning quietly, Sayu pried herself from the steel like grip and slipped her clothing on. Sighing sadly at her bra. 'That'll teach me. Note to self: bites and likely has a knife somewhere.' Silently slipping out of the room, she tied her hair up into a high ponytail, wincing in pain that every move seemed to echo through her body. Sighing for what felt like the hundredth time, Sayu padded her bare feet into the bathroom in the hallway. She opened up the cabinet on the wall and inspected the multitude of bottles before pulling the Motrin bottle out, uncapping it and knocking back a couple of them and drinking them down with water from the sink.

She stepped into the hallway and made her way to her room. Her eyes drifted towards her phone. Lifting the device, she unblocked Light's number and tossed it back onto the bed and grabbed clean clothing from her drawers. Pulling her shirt over her head, she whimpered. Her eyes fell onto a deep bruising along her chest and back. Staring at her own reflection with shock, she turned to better view her back while blinking rapidly. "Holy shit!" Her entire torso was covered in bruises in varying colors. Frowning at the discoloration of her skin she sighed. "Okay. Looser fitting clothing today."

Her phone started chiming. Throwing on some clean, but baggy clothing she answered the call, an image of Light appeared on her phone as the call connected. ("Morning Light! Sorry, I fell asleep in another room and never made it back to my phone until not too long ago!")

("Oh, no problem, this was the first time I called. I wasn't sure what time it was there so I waited a bit.")

Sayu smiled as she listened to her brother. ("Oh! I should show you what I got for Christmas!") She hopped out of bed and flipped the camera around to show off the painting set and easel.

("Oh wow! You should paint something! Is that the room you're staying in? It looks nice, I guess I never really imagined what kind of house Beyond would live in.") She squealed in delight at her brother's reaction.

("Yes, it is, this house is huge, no offense, but it puts yours and L's to shame. I'll have to do a virtual tour for you at some point. And, I think I will paint today!")

She turned the camera back to face her and Light leaned in and raised an eyebrow. ("Please tell me that isn't a hickey.") He tilted his head and gave her a lame stare.

("You promised you wouldn't get upset!")

Light scoffed while smirking. ("No, I said I wouldn't get upset about who. I think no matter who gave that to you I'd want to punch out. I'm your big brother! I'm allowed to be annoyed at a man, any man, putting his hands on you! That's perfectly rational! I didn't say anything bad!") His golden eyes rolled playfully.

She gently placed her hand over the right side of her neck as she smiled timidly. ("That's fair.") She shifted her eyes around quickly with a smirk. ("So, how much can I actually talk to you about?")

Light sighed while dropping his shoulders. ("He's good to you?") Sayu nodded excitedly, which made Light smile. ("I guess, despite not caring for him much, I haven't exactly given him much time to plead a case for himself.") Light chuckled and stepped into a different room. ("Just tell me, the anticipation is actually killing me.")

Sayu smirked at her brother, finally feeling a level of nostalgic peace with him. ("Okay, now, don't get huffy. But, if endowment runs in the family. I understand exactly why you married L.")

Light's eyes widened as he gasped. ("Sayu!") His eyes darted around his current room as he leaned into the phone. ("First of all, ew. Second of all, riiight?") Sayu cackled loudly at her brother's reaction while holding her ribs. She took a couple deep breaths trying to steady her laughter to stave off the growing pain in her sides from laughing. Light rolled his eyes and smiled coyly. ("If we're gossiping we may as well do it right, did you also wake up head to toe in bruises?")

Sayu gasped loudly and leaned forward. ("Yes!")

Light laughed loudly. ("Demons! They're demons!") Sayu giggled with her hand over her mouth.

("Oh. I've missed this so much, I can't wait to hang out with you on New Years!") She lifted her eyes up to the phone screen and noticed an odd distortion in her vision and sudden saturation of colors. ("I should get breakfast made and then do some painting, I've been meaning to paint and I still haven't.")

("Alright. See you soon! Be safe! Use protection!")

Rolling her eyes with a small smile. ("I'm on birth control, you'd know that if you weren't trying to be dad number two.") Light chuckled and nodded. ("I'm sorry we fought, but I'm not sorry for the outcome. Glad to have my brother back.")

("Thank you for trusting in me. Talk later, Sayu!") They both waved as the call disconnected.

She attempted to chase the distortion at the edge of her vision before her eyes landed on the water outside, it seemed much brighter today. Sighing happily she picked up her supplies and sat outside on the balcony staring into the water as she absentmindedly opened her paints, while pulling her hair out of her ponytail.

Sayu startled slightly when a hand ran along her hair and a cup of coffee was offered to her in front of her face. "Oh. I'm sorry. I was galaxies away." Her eyes lifted to a subtle smile and caring scarlet eyes. He smiled and grabbed his cup off the stone railing as she took her cup from him. She slumped slightly in the chair, she had at some point set up with. "What time is it?"

Glancing at his watch, Beyond sighed as he spoke. "A little after two in the afternoon."

Sayu shot a shocked look up towards the raven. "No, it isn't! How? How did I lose five hours to painting!?" She narrowed her eyes and sipped her coffee while scowling. "The Motrin… American Motrin is much stronger than Japanese Motrin. I don't even remember this morning that well."

Raising an eyebrow in confusion before Beyond groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Ah shit. The Motrin in the bathroom?" She nodded as her eyes fell onto multiple paintings of abstract swirls all entangled with different coloring. "That… wasn't Motrin… That." Beyond's laughter interrupted his voice. "That was LSD. Oh my god, have you even eaten today?"

Sayu shook her head absentmindedly. "I woke up super sore, took some medicine, then talked to Light. Noticed my vision was doing something funny, but decided I wanted to paint… and… here we are…" She took notice of all of the paintings she had done and started to view them. "What the hell happened?"

"Hallucinations most likely."

"You should label that." Sayu quipped. "Wouldn't want anyone to mistake it for, you know, medicine." She sarcastically remarked. Her eyes drifted up to the sky. She smiled brightly and sighed happily. "So bright!"

She felt her hand get lifted and held, causing her to look down at her hand that was being held. She smiled and interlaced their fingers. She felt the coffee mug be taken from her hand as she was slowly led into a hug as he chuckled quietly, trying to hide his laughter. "I'm so sorry. How many did you take?" She held up two fingers before pinching them together which caused her to giggle. Beyond huffed a quiet laugh out. "So, you'll probably be in a pretty good mood all day." She lifted her head and rested her chin on his chest and puckered her lips while giggling. Her actions forced another laugh from the raven who reached his neck down slightly to give her a quick peck. "Come on, Alice, let's go get something in your stomach."

She giggled as she was lifted bridal style and carried back into the home. "I want pancakes!"

He chuckled as they exited the room. "Pancakes it is, then."
