PREVIOUS CHAPTER REVIEWS/COMMENTS

WTP ghostlypriority: What is the "W" word? I can't think of anything

Response: If I have to explain something this simple, then it ruins the joke of me poking fun at the word being taboo to say in public.

FFN zakan: Nice chapter, and thanks for the announcement of the change in the previous tome, I did not notice that your story will continue on a different tome.

Response: Thank you, and yeah I was surprised when people did not realize at the end of the first I put a title for a different story, when I said it would be returning at a later date.

FFN ultra.d: some people do like to make some changes from cannon, like in one Tomera/Tenko was a hero, and one other that all for one (the person) was controlled by all for one (the Quirk), it has been a while since I read this series so it's fogy, I'll reread it again soon. (this is not a review but a response)

Response: I read stuff like that also, but I can assure you that neither of those ideas are even remotely close to what I have planned moving forward. I hope you enjoy rereading the series again, as this part will have a lot of character development for a lot of people.

FFN cilantros: bro, the title of this chapter.

Response: Ah yes, the suggestive title. It was a fun little joke as what I wrote was still accurate to the title. But just not the mental image you had when you first read it. I hope you liked the bait and switch I did, but yeah this chapter is not the only chapter in a story of mine with a suggestive title so keep on your toes. Especially for this chapter title.

AUTHORS NOTE

Sorry it has been so long, but between the Christmas release and the new monster girl story I did there was little room in my schedule to finish this chapter even though most of it was done. But I hope you all paid close attention to the Christmas chapter as it has key information moving forward in the story.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

ON THE RACETRACK

(THIRD PERSON POV)

While the three girls held an indomitable lead on everyone, everyone was now taking care to go to the sides when they spotted them coming up. However, this did not mean the others would not try their best to interfere with the other racers now that there are only sixteen spots left to claim in the tournament. Kyoka Jiro for instance would jab her ear jacks into the ground behind her chariot, causing the ground to shake more sending anyone behind her into a tailspin. As a result, the other racers who did not get hit by it like her first and only victims made sure to keep two chariot lengths behind her. Well, most were smart enough to avoid her anyways.

"DESTROY HER CONTROLS!" Togaru Kamakiri shouted as two other competitors joined him. Most would aim for the back wheels as the easiest way to slow them down. But he wanted to injure her so that she and her partner would be forced to drop out, so a wipe out was the best way to make it happen. But since he was unsure if they would get penalized or disqualified for directly attacking, they decided to aim for her chariot.

With him flanking her left, Kojiro Bondo on her right, and Rikido Sato behind her in case she tries to get away from them by slowing down. The idea was for him to throw his metal blades at her controls, then Kojiro would slow down and use his quirk to mess with her wheels before moving over to avoid her crashing. Rikido Sato was there with a small stock of metal blades to throw at her back wheels when they got in his short throwing range as his accuracy was a bit below average according to him.

What this team of three did not expect was for Tetsutetsu to jump from the back of his chariot to hers covering her controls with his metal body. "You are going to have to try harder to take down my teammate!" He said throwing some of the blades he caught at his opponent front right wheel and back left. After his battle trial with Toga, he had practiced his throwing, with the fruits of his labor now showing at last.

His accuracy was enough to get the job done as Kamakiri began struggling to keep his chariot going straight. "Slow down right now." He told her as he flipped over in her chariot, punching the front of Rikido Sato chariot once it was in range, damaging the motor. This forced him to pull a good distance back allowing them to move over and go around Kamakiri passing him. With Tetsutetsu making one last throw at the back wheel he did not attack earlier, causing him to flip over into Kojiro Bondo taking them both out of the race for good as they were trapped under their chariots.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE ANNOUNCER BOOTH

(THIRD PERSON POV)

The crowd, as they had expected, was quite surprised at the sight of the metal boy of class 1-A coming to the defense of 1-A punk rock girl. In fact, many were crying out in displeasure asking if the two different sets of students were as a result of these actions cheating. This all clearly to the heroes stemmed from the partner comment Tetsutetsu made and the initial plan the three came up with. However, it was clear they were not breaking rules by making an alliance in advance.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Mirko shouted into her mic calming down the audience so Aizawa could be heard.

Clearing his throat to get the audience to realize he was about to answer their questions. "I understand the sudden confusion by the sudden turn of events so I will explain it for everyone. There was no rule that stated different teams could work together, as shown by those three ganging up on her. Though many may think of it as unheroic it is a fact that out in the field teamwork more often than not is what allows heroes to succeed. That is why I believe both sets of students should be praised for their excellent teamwork displayed." He said making the audience give a round of applause at his impromptu lesson with the majority of the more veteran heroes nodding in agreement with his words of wisdom.

Mirko, seeing Aizawa handed her a paper with notes turned off his mic but covered the button on hers. She realized right away that he was going to let her explain this to the crowd. Normally she would not accept handouts like this, but if it gives her a chance to show people that she is more than a battle addict. Then she would gladly swallow her pride and accept it.

"Actually people, despite what appears to be a sudden team up by competitors Tetsutetsu and Jiro it may have very well been planned in advance." Mirko said, peaking their interests with this possible new drama. "Unlike the three that came after them, the two students and their partners on the pillars are quite close. Not only did they work together during the attack on the UA to help protect the other students. But if you were paying attention to the board, you will see they all tied for the same spot in the ranking from the first event." She told them, making the audience realize that they may have something planned during the combat round to win. Mirko herself as well as the other teachers also thought the same thing, needless to say Nezu was ready to throw a wrench into their plans the best way he knew how.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE WALL OF THE RACETRACK

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Amidst the struggle between the other students, there were three who were especially in a tight spot at the moment. Toru Hagakure and Hiryu Rin had gone down to their last two minutes began to panic quite a bit. Sen Kaibara just barely had four minutes left was just as stressed but knew he also had to make a move. However, unlike two of them, Hiryu Rin had a plan up his sleeves for how to survive.

Earlier Mashirao Ojiro had tried to eliminate Tsuyu Asui but was now stuck on her pillar due to the constant flurry of attacks surrounding him he had to constantly dodge. The frog girl herself had decided to stick to the side of her pillar lower to the ground, so as to use the pillars surrounding her as a sort of shield against the lower ranked competitors. It was a smart move, and one he knew he had to take advantage of if he wanted to survive.

Since eliminating a team would make their pillar disappear, he had to claim a pillar no one needed to use the top of, in other words he needed her pillar. The issue though was that he had a total of fifty-five feet separating him and his target, a significant hurdle indeed. He had no doubt he could knock Ojiro off of it once he reached there, but the question in the end was one of whether he could reach there or not.

However, he saw no other chance, so it was do or die as they say, after all this intense situation was nothing compared to the UA attack… 'I CAN DO THIS!' He thought as he began running for his life, making a mental note to apologize to the invisible girl later.

Jumping towards her he shouted to get her attention so she would face him, launching a large cluster of his scales under him he jumped off of them. Landing on top of her head he used her as a springboard to go further up towards his classmate using his scale jumping technique again.

Practicing what he planned to do later to Ojiro he launched scales at their feet throwing them of balance for a moment. This was due to them almost stepping back over the edge to avoid the attack, as a result Kaibara was momentarily vulnerable getting kicked off his platform. Knowing he had only a few precious seconds to move to the next pillar, leaving the previous two behind to be eliminated, he went after a harder target.

In order to reach this opponent who was a whole twenty-five feet above him now then the equal heights they were at the beginning he had to get even more creative. Jumping between their pillar and another he slowly made his way up them with his back against one pillar and his two feet against another.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE ANNOUNCER BOOTH

(THIRD PERSON POV)

It was quite a shock for both the crowd and the teachers to see how determined he was to suddenly burst into action to try and move forward. Mirko especially was giving him a shit eating grin at the sight before her, already considering recommending to swap him out with a certain brain dead battery. "NOT ONLY DO WE HAVE TWO MORE ELIMINATIONS! BUT WE HAVE A COMPETITOR COMING BACK FROM THE BRINK OF DEFEAT PEOPLE!" Mirko shouted getting the crowd even more excited to see the young man continue.

However, with all good things… "I don't think it is going to work out the way you think it will Mirko. But I do give my respects to him for coming in clutch for his teammate at the last moments." Aizawa said, making sure he did not put the young man down as his efforts were genuinely impressive to Aizawa.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE WALL OF THE RACETRACK

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Climbing up slowly he nearly made it to the top when suddenly the purple-haired kid above him with bags under their eyes asked him if he was going to surrender. Yelling back at the other student "HELL NO!" Rin mind went blank, and his body fell down for none of the other competitors to be seen again for the rest of the match. Izuku, despite feeling bad for his fellow support course students, did not hesitate to break their gear with smaller icicles when they went after Momo and by extension his sister.

Trying to work together one managed to restrain Momo by her arms and legs with their gear. One of them injected her with a quirk suppressant drug immediately after restraining her. As a result, Momo was unable to defend herself as they moved onto phase two of their plan to drop her to the ground.

Unfortunately for them they were using jetpacks they made to fly, as a result all it took was four icicles from Izuku to stop them. One for each of the packs hitting the power source to cause a powerful surge of electricity stunning them. Then one for each restraint they had on her, which caused them to fall, naturally he ended up accelerating their fall with his wing beats. Though this was not done on purpose… well half on purpose since they injected his sister teammate/friend with a quirk suppressing drug.

As a result, teams eleven and ten were eliminated from the contest, although they would have been eliminated regardless for not clearing permission to use quirk suppressants in the first place.

"Thank you Izuku, but I'm dead weight now to you." She said as she held onto his back as she leaned against him. "But still, to think they would cheat by-" fortunately for her Izuku had cut her off before she could continue.

"They did not cheat." Izuku told her bluntly without any hesitation. Seeing her confused look, he let out a sigh before continuing. "Due to the idiots in charge of the country laws, anyone can get easy and legal access to quirk suppressants if they do a little research." He said not realizing the panic he was causing elsewhere by broadcasting that information to the world. Though in this scenario he had assumed they cleared it with their teacher first so he did not know they would have been eliminated anyways.

"I never knew… I think I am going to ask my father to hire a quirkless bodyguard." Momo said now taking her turn to confuse him. "I want them to be more proficient with their weapons and other traditional techniques or skills involved with bodyguard work. Almost all of the bodyguards I have had over the years had gotten special licenses to use their quirks thinking they were strong enough to deal with most threats." She told him, revealing a major flaw that had occurred due to people becoming reliant on quirks.

AT MINISTRY OF JUSTICE

(THIRD PERSON POV)

The moment that Izuku Midoriya shared that bit of information to the whole world they began running around in a panic. It was the whole building that had become absolute chaos, not just one floor as they and the HPSC, QRA(Quirk Registration Agency), as well as the ministry of health had begun putting together an emergency meeting.

Though the health and welfare were once combined with the labor ministry originally, when quirks began showing it was split back into two separate ministries. Regardless all of these groups had to hurry and put together new revised laws for quirk suppressants. As well as finding out the loophole he spoke of that not even they knew existed till now. At worst they would need to have him come to the building and explain to them how after the sports festival if they could not figure it out.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE ANNOUNCER BOOTH

(THIRD PERSON POV)

"Looks like your son learned not to show mercy, and here I was hoping he would be the gentlest out of all three of them." Aizawa said letting out a sigh at the sight he just witnessed. Then again considering what they just did he could not blame Izuku, he would be slightly upset himself if he was placed in nearly the same circumstances.

He was definitely no longer the timid child Aizawa remembered on their first meeting that was for sure. Looking at Mirko, he noticed the strained smile on her face as if she was struggling to decide whether or not to say something. "What is the matter Mirko?" He asked her, wondering what he might have said to cause her to make that face.

"Believe it or not… that is merciful compared to what his sisters would do if they had acted instead of him." Mirko said noticing the death glare Toga sent their way during the commotion that froze them up momentarily. That moment was all Izuku ended up needing to disable them and send them flying down to their defeat like he ended up doing.

"Ah, I see now why you made that expression at my comment. By the way it looks like Yosetsu Awase has been knocked off of his pillar by a stray icicle from Izuku Midoriya hitting him in the shoulder." Aizawa pointed out making it now eleven teams eliminated from the running. "I see now what you meant; your daughter Himiko really is merciless." He said making her smack her face in exasperation at what her daughter just did to that poor boy, even if she did feel his bad pun deserved it.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE WALL OF THE RACETRACK

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Hanta Sero, having seen Hiryu Rin go down after his sudden surge in momentum, decided to get as far from his current neighbor as possible. As a result, he decided to use his tape to swing from pillar to pillar in hopes of reaching higher while maybe knocking out of the race one or two of the weaker competitors in the process. As such he reached the support student who had made up one half of team seventeen C. Since he came flying at them with his full momentum, he was able to knock them off the pillar and send them crashing to the ground in defeat. "Looks like the support student, needed more support am I right?" Sero said laughing as he swung to the next pillar up, catching Ojiro in his tape.

The two however, found themselves defeated by the same person in the end as Himiko Toga cut his tape with two throwing knives before he could land on the pillar. This resulted in him crashing into the unable to dodge tailed teen, both sent flying into her pillar face first. Barely holding onto it however as Ojiro used his tail to grab the edge and flip them upwards, as they were now stuck together holding onto the edge by their fingertips.

Looking up at her they saw her grinning ear to ear as she waved to them. "… You're going to kick us off, aren't you?" Ojiro asked, getting the nod he expected from her. Himiko with her usual tactfulness or rather lack of it, jumped onto and off of their faces sending them flying below as she landed on Tsuyu Asui pillar. However, her next move was stopped when Mina shouted, they were finally at sixteen people left. This left the crowd cheering till they realized that the event was continued by some pillars falling then shortly rising again.

The audience was beyond confused as they could only see sixteen contestants left, most of the other participants were confused. That is until Hiryu Rin shot a scale at the back of Reiko Yanagi with just enough force to knock her out. It seemed that he managed to come out of Shinso control just in time to grab onto a pillar and slow himself before he fell to the ground.

Then more scales came flying but there were a few like Himiko who were already on guard and were able to react fast enough. It was the support course student from team twenty that got eliminated next as he was grabbed by his ankle by the exchange student who pulled him over the edge of his pillar. In his surprise on his way to the ground he was shot in the back by a scale accelerating his fall even more. With that the final buzzer really went off announcing the end of the second round as Aizawa told the hidden student to come out of Izuku shadow.

With Reiko knocked out she was considered eliminated now that they had seventeen students remaining. As there is no way she would wake up in time before hitting the ground, especially with people like Izuku easily able to gently drop her down. The teachers came to a unanimous ruling to eliminate her due to these facts. As it would be pointless to waste any more time waiting for someone to actually eliminate her.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

INSIDE THE ANNOUNCER BOOTH

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Aizawa and Mirko were smirking at the confused audience and students after no fanfare following Ashido outburst. Naturally they turned both of their mic off to talk without bursting the confused bubbles of everyone.

"That Ashido girl really jumps the gun, doesn't she?" Mirko asked him, smirking at his student embarrassing moment.

"I could be wrong, but is this not a situation where the pot is calling the kettle black?" Aizawa asked her grinning at her pouting face, though she still managed to give him a death glare while doing so. He really did wonder sometimes how Nemuri managed to tame such a wild rabbit. "Oh, don't look at me like that, you know it's true." He told her as he signaled for her to pay attention to the battlefield.

Mirko was glad he did, as she saw quite the sight of Hiryu Rin who was almost knocked out earlier about to make a comeback. She had to give it to the kid, he really was determined to make it to the next round no matter what it took.

After seeing him take out the last two required for the round to end, Aizawa played the music to signal the round was over and turned his mic back on. "With Hiryu Rin claiming the sixteenth spot by a slim margin the second event has come to an end. Will the student hiding in Izuku Midoriya shadow come out now to show all sixteen contestants to the audience." He said as his student came out of the icy inventor shadow. To him it looked like this year's festival, despite their being only one year of students participating will turn out to be quite interesting to watch.
