A/N: Trigger warning for various levels of mental…hm, let's call it, discomfort.

. . . . .

He laid on the cold floor, fingers tightly gripping his hair interlocked with the strands he pulled at. Ben Tennyson laughed at him. That maniacal laugh as he walked towards him, preparing to make the final, deadly strike. His red eyes stared at the white bed ahead, connected to the equally stark white wall. His heart sped in his chest. Shivers wracked his frame.

'Why did they put me in here with him!?' His mind screamed, 'Why!?'

He heard more voices, different from Tennyson's and his aliens, distant and barely audible.

'I don't want to die!' He shut his eyes tightly. The cold floor bit into him even through his clothing. He heard glass shatter and crackling, screaming, and Tennyson's laughter.

"Please don't kill me!" He pleaded, speaking in a hush voice. "Please don't kill me!" He curled into himself, "Go away, go away, go away!"

Maybe if he curled up tight enough, maybe if he chanted and asked and pleaded enough...

He felt the hard floor underneath him. Was it warmer? Did Tennyson in one of his alien forms manage to attack him from behind? Or below? Was nowhere safe!? He kicked out a leg. Someone shouted. He thought it sounded familiar, but who cared!? Tennyson was trying to kill him. No one would know it was him! He couldn't let that happen!

He moved to stand on shaky legs. He pushed at the many arms trying to grab him. "Let go! Go away!" He stumbled as he kicked his feet. He fell on the ground to his backside. He scooted back on the floor away from Tennyson. Away from the disgusting arms trying to grab him.

His heart raced even faster if that was possible. His back hit something. He felt around the simple couch. He turned around. His eyes focused on the plain wall behind him. He sharply turned back around. He looked wide eyed at small black eyes and equally wide silver ones. He gasped for breath, working to scream, but utterly unable to.

Juggernaut's voice still sounded like Jenrya's in his mind, speaking slowly yet lined with a sense of urgency. Spots filled his vision. He closed his eyes and slumped over. His body sprawled out over the floor.

He laid for what felt like a long while. He opened his eyes and looked at the wall off to the side. Some pictured lined it for some reason, and a small dresser as well. How odd. "Get it over with already." He hoped he muttered through his quick breathing.

He thought he heard Jenrya say, 'I'm not going to hurt you,' but that couldn't be right. Jenrya wasn't dumb enough to fight Tennyson to get to him. He still heard the maniac laughing.

Hands and arms touched him, making his skin crawl. He shivered, but did not have the strength or will to protest any further, "...Don't..." He muttered, words slurring. His back touched a solid surface. A hand moved his arm to rest against another surface. It felt like a wall to him. He slumped against the surface. He rested on his side, sweat soaked hair stuck to his forehead.

He opened his eyes just enough to see the barest hints of his surroundings. He sat for a long while, somehow uninjured by Tennyson, who probably turned his attention elsewhere. A vague feeling of his heart slowing down to more normal rates filled him. His breathing slowed and he breathed easier. For now, without Tennyson's attention on him, it was safer.

He would worry about getting away later. For now, all that mattered was that he wasn't about to die. His thoughts, once jumbled in his mind, straightened themselves out for a short while. He curled up on himself, hoping that Tennyson never returned.

A/N: Now shit gets real. I am uploading two chapters today, so you're not left on such a crazy cliffhanger after an equally short chapter.
