Lincoln gulped and looked so guilty about poisoning his friend like this. He had no idea that it would be so catastrophic on Ronnie Anne. "I can't believe you poisoned me." Ronnie Anne said.
"I... I'm sorry." Lincoln said. "It wasn't supposed to make you so sick like that."
"Well it did." Ronnie snapped as she was coughing some more. "I don't know if I'll be able to eat anything ever again. Oh I feel like I need to have my stomach pumped... again."
"You poisoned her?" Rita looked at Lincoln with shock.
"How can you do this to Ronnie Anne?" said Lynn Sr.
"It wasn't supposed to be like this!" Lincoln said. "Besides, she pelted me with a loaded diaper in the mail. Uhhhh. Mrs Santiago, please tell me she's going to be ok. Please!"
"Despite all the aches and pain and is going through right now, she'll be fine." Maria said, making Lincoln sign with relief.
"But there is still no excuse for all this." Rita sounded firm.
"I know." Lincoln bowed his head.
"Where did you even get that stuff?" Asked Lori
"Loona." said Lincoln. "She said I should pull the ultimate prank on Ronnie Anne since she won't stop doing it."
"You know what?" Said Luna. "Why am I not surprised, dude?"
"Oh how, we are so going to have a talk with her." Lynn Sr said.
"Who's Loona?" asked Carl
"A friend that saved me from some muggers." Lincoln pointed. "She's a good friend."
"Uh, Lisa what are the side effects of this ipecac stuff?"
"Let me look it up." Said the genius sister, pulling up a small computer from behind her. "Hmmmm, according to this paper, there are several side effects of this discontinued medical syrup: nausea and violent vomiting,"
"Obviously." Lola rolled her eyes.
"Severe muscle cramps and aches in many parts of the body." Lisa continued explaining.
"Ah! My body feels like it was massaged in the wrong places." Ronnie complained
"Painful migraines,"
"My head!" Ronnie Anne exclaimed as she clutched her noggin. "Feels like a tapeworm is living inside of it."
"dehydration."
Then Lincoln's friend took it upon herself to drink a rather large jug of water. "Boy, I'm thirsty."
"chills."
"Brrr. Is it cold in here or is it just me?"
"And finally, kidney stones." Lisa concluded
Ronnie felt a sharp pain on her back like was getting brutally stabbed with a knife. "My back!" She exclaimed. Worst of all, she felt it needing to pass her system. "I'll be right back." She ran upstairs to help the stone pass. Everyone could hear Ronnie Anne's screams and moans of pain from how she was trying to get the kidney stone out of her body.
Lincoln looked even more guilty and nodded his head as he facepalmed himself. "What have you done?" said Bobby, looking at Lincoln with disapproval.
"Something really really stupid." Lincoln replied flatly.
"Uh, yeah." Lana said. "This is poisoning."
"What were you thinking?" said Maria, looking at the boy with disbelief.
"So not cool." said Lynn Jr with her arms crossed.
It was just then, Loona, in her human disguise, came to the front door, and Lynn Sr promptly opened, and unsurprisingly, Loona was just texting on her phone (as usual). "Hey Mr. Loud." she said nonchalantly. "What's going on?"
"You konw ding-dang well what's going on, Loona!" Lynn Sr retorted. The disguised hellhound looked confused and looked at him, and everyone else, realizing something was wrong.
"Who are these losers?" asked Loona rudely, referring to the Santiagos and Casagrandes.
"Losers?" said Rosa. "How dare you!"
"Hey hey hey!" Hector said. "Now let's just calm down."
"Look, what's the problem."
"So you're Loona?" asked Maria
"Yes. What of it, woman?"
Ronne Anne's mom looked offended by Loona's rude behavior. "Excuse me?"
"Sorry about her." Rita chuckled nervously. "She's... not really a people person, and prefers to keep to herself."
"You poisoned my sister!" Bobby pointed at her.
"Wait," Loona looked at the sick girl who was pale. "So you're Lincoln's friend i've heard about." she raised her eyebrow at her. "What happened to you? You look terrible, kid?"
"Thanks, girls love hearing that." Ronne Anne said sarcastically. "So you're the person that saved Lincoln?"
"Yep. Don't wear it out. He would be dead if not or me."
"Then why did you guys poison me?"
"What are you talking about?" asked Loona again
"The Ipecac." Arturo pointed
"Oohhhhhh, that." Loona said. "Look it's not that bad. It made you throw up a few times, so you can just walk it off."
"No," said Lori. "She was throwing up way more than that." she had her arms crossed in disapproval. "Around fifty times!"
Loona looked surprised to hear that. "What?" she said
"Yeah, and she had to go to the hospital." said Leni.
The disguised hellhound looked even more surprised. "But that wasn't supposed to happen."
"Well it did." said the rocker girl. "You guys poisoned her."
"What else did she go through?"
"Many things." Lisa said before listing all the things Ronnie Anne has suffered after taking a sip of that ipecac drink she received from Lincoln. Hearing more of these symptoms made Loona look more guilty than before. Sure Loona can be malicious and be mean to the bone, but she didn't want this to happen.
Sitting on the couch, Lincoln knew he was in deep trouble now. He just wanted to pull a prank on his female friend, not poison her and almost kill her!
At last, Loona said: "Look, she started it!" pointing at Ronnie Anne. "She pulled a diaper prank on him, and that is just fucking disgusting." Frida gasped and clasped Carlitos' ears
"Language!" she said.
"Sorry." Loona rolled her eyes. "But i was just trying to teach her a lesson about messing with Lincoln."
"Well, Loona, you didn't tell me about how bad Ipecac was." Lincoln narrowed his eyes at her.
"It said cough syrup, and supposed to help people yak out poisonous or harmful things they ate."
"Newsflash." said Maria. "That's been discredited by medical officials, and they have been discontinued for a long time! Where did you even get that?"
"My... my dad." Loona lied. "He kept it with him just in case because... he's a paranoid schizephrenic. yeah, he's a guy that needs a lot of therapy and other serious help. And besides, how the f- i mean, how the heck should i have known she would have been badly poisoned like this? I'm no medical wizz!" then she took in a breath. "Look, kid, how do i feel?"
"Like a stinky butt." Ronnie Anne narrowed her eyes, clutching at her belly. "Oh, and i just passed a kidney stone, thank you very much." he looked at Lincoln, and the disguised hellhound angrily.
"Well it's honestly your fault." Loona pointed at the girl. "You started it by pranking him so many times in the first place. You were bullying him."
"No i wasn't!" Ronnie Anne said defensively. "Besides, he likes the pranks i send to him by mail. Right Lincoln?"
"Well..." Lincoln tried to explain. "Some of them are mean, and go a little too far."
Ronnie Anne looked shocked, and realized that what her friend said was right. She doesn't mean to go far with the pranks, she just wanted to have some fun with Lincoln. "Look, i thought we were friends?"
"What kind of friend mercilessly pranks people like that?" Loona crossed her arms.
"I know what i did was inexcusable," said Lincoln, bowing his head, looking at his parents. "So mom, dad, i'll accept whatever punishment you give me. Go on, fire away."
Realizing that Loona had got Lincoln into deep deep trouble, she stepped up to defend him, and said: "No, it's my fault. I was the one that showed him the bottle. So if anyone should go to jail, it should be me. Just don't ground him."
"No, it's my fault, Loona." Lincoln defended her now. "I shipped it to her."
"Alright, alright," said Rita. "I appreciate your integrity honey, but right now, just go to your room until we figure out what to do with you."
Lincoln bowed his head
"But first, apologize to Ronnie Anne." Lynn Sr added
The white-haired boy got off the couch, and walked up to the internally hurt Ronnie Anne. "I... I'm sorry about this Ronnie Anne. Truly sorry."
She just looked to the side with a sad look on her face.
"Look, in my defense, she should be apologizing to Lincoln."
"She will." said Maria. "I am going to have a long talk to her about this when we get home, mind you. But we're not finished with this."
"OK, OK." said Lynn Sr. "There's no need to sue us, or her."
"Look, come on, family, i think Ronnie Anne needs some rest after all of that vomiting. "Come on, honey." the Santiago and Casagrande family helped her to their van, and it was silent in the house, and the sisters were glaring at Lincoln after everything that happened.
"I know, I know, I messed up big time." Lincoln sighed.
"Uh, yeah." Lori said.
"You almost killed someone!" Luan said.
"i would never do that!" Lincoln argued.
"Ok, ok, look. Yes, Lincoln did really hurt her, but what matters is that she is going to be alright." Said Lynn Sr.
"I'll just... go up to my room now." Lincoln said sadly.
Then everyone looked at Loona. "Oh, don't look at me like that." Loona said, turning back into her hellhound form.
"You're lucky they didn't sue you after what happened, dude." said Luna. "I'm sure what you and Lincoln did was against the law. You guys could have ended up in jail!"
"Are you going to rat me out to the police?" Loona crossed her arms, not sounding scared. "Let me just say goodbye to Lincoln."
"Wait a minute." said Lynn Sr. "Look, while we are not happy about this, you did save Lincoln... more than a few times now."
"So, we'll not rat you out." Rita said. "However, what happened was still inexcusable."
"Right. So we'll talk to Lincoln to discuss punishment."
"Just... don't ground him forever or smash his games, or send him to military school."
"What? No, we won't do that." said Lynn Sr. "We're not harsh parents. But, if you and Lincoln ever do something like this again, then you'll be forbidden to see him ever again."
"I get it." said Loona.
