Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 51 of God of Lies and Mischief and the Woman of Many Faces. Thank you to those who have left reviews. It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story. We're getting closer to the end of Age of Ultron. Which I'm kind of thankful for due to the fact that I want to move onto the next part of this story. I've been struggling a little bit with trying to write Age of Ultron and I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with it, but I'm trying my best. Without further ado Chapter 51. ENJOY!

Chapter 51

Everleigh was in her room changing into her gear. She put her black catsuit on that was now designed with some blue accents. She pushed her hair back as she put her boots onto her feet. She then waved her hand blue magic surrounding her guns attaching themselves into the holsters that were on her thighs. She took a breath as she slowly left her room walking towards the quinjet that they were going to be using to get to where Ultron had Natasha at.

Tony loaded up FRIDAY since JARVIS was no longer available to his interface.

"Good evening, boss." FRIDAY said through the speaker.

"No way we all get through this. If even one tin soldier is left standing, we've lost. It's gonna be blood on the floor." Tony said, pursing his lips together.

"I got no plans tomorrow night." Steve said, looking over at Tony.

"I get first crack at the big guy. Iron Man's the one he's waiting for."

Vision walked past them. "That's true, he hates you the most."

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out."

"Which will be a hard task with all things considered." Everleigh said, looking over at Steve.

"We have to try." Steve said, looking over at Everleigh.

"And that's what we are going to do." She said as she walked towards the plane.

ULTRON

"All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right." Steve said over the coms.

"That's an understatement Steve. We don't want to prove him right, we save as many people as we can and get rid of Ultron altogether." Everleigh said softly. "And then we have to own up to what happens afterwards. We won't have much of a choice." Everleigh began to help get as many people out of the city as she possibly could. She knew that this wasn't going to be easy for them, just like New York wasn't easy for them a few years prior.

"Your man's in the church, boss. I think he's waiting for you." Friday said over the coms alerting everyone to what was going on.

"Come to confess your sins?" Ultron's voice crackled over the coms as Tony listened to him.

"I don't know, how much time do you got?" Tony questioned, being rather much of a smart ass trying to get Ultron to do something.

"More than you."

"Uhhh. Have you been juicing? A little Vibranium cocktail? You're looking, I don't wanna say, puffy…"

"You're stalling to protect the people."

"Tony keep him talking, stall as long as you can. He may know we're here, but we don't risk people's lives." Everleigh said as she moved to get a few more people out of the city towards the exits so they would be safe and sound.

"Well, that is the mission. Did you forget?" Tony questioned Ultron trying to get under the skin.

"I've moved beyond your mission. I'm free. What, you think you're the only one stalling?"

"There's the rest of the Vibranium. Function: still unclear." Friday said.

"This is how you end, Tony. This is peace in my time."

Everleigh's eyes widened as she saw a large army of robots beginning to attack everyone and everything around them. "Oh you got to be fucking kidding me right now."

"Go!" Steve shouted.

"Get off the bridge! Run!" Wanda said, trying to get people off of the bridge.

Everleigh began to blast some of the robots to keep some people that she was with safe.

"FRIDAY! The Vision?" Tony's voice rang over the com as he talked to his AI.

"Boss, it's working. He's burning Ultron out of the net, he won't escape through there."

Everleigh gasped as she felt the ground shake. "Stark what was that?"

"FRIDAY?"

"Sokovia's going for a ride." Friday's voice rang out.

"Oh this is just grand." Everleigh said softly, pulling back as the ground shook even more.

"The Vibranium core has got a magnetic field, that's what's keeping the rock together."

"If it drops?" Tony questioned hoping that his AI would figure it out quickly.

"Right now the impact would kill thousands. Once it gets high enough: Global extinction."

Everleigh looked around nervously as she put a magic barrier up protecting people from the falling debris that was falling around them. She heard some children crying in fear of what was going on around them. She knew that this was something that they weren't expecting when they woke up that morning and having the Avengers here to protect them, she could only hope that they were enough.

""That building's not clear, the tenth floor. Hi. Okay. Get in the tub!" Tony's voice rang over the coms alerting everyone that he was saving a family.

"I got airborne, heading up to the bridge." Friday's voice rang out.

"Cap, you got incoming."

"Incoming already came in. Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job: tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed, walk it off."

"That's really reassuring Rogers." Everleigh called back, voicing her irritation. "We're not super soldiers like you." She turned and blasted one of the robots that came her way destroying it with blue swirls of magic.

This is the end of Chapter 51. I hope that you guys enjoyed it. I tried my best with writing this chapter, but lately I've been having a little bit of a hard time writing this out due to the fact that it hasn't been easy to write Age of Ultron for some reason. I want it to be good, but it's hard to make it good. I hope that I did alright. Please leave a review and let me know what you think. Currently the number hasn't changed for chapters that I have planned up to, but I hopefully will have more of a chance to prepare other chapters up. I will hopefully update next Monday. Until next time.
