Chapter 86
Everleigh began to blast some of the Butchers along with Heimdall and Valkyrie. They were trying their best to keep innocent Asgardians who were huddled together scared trying to keep each other safe from falling off of the bridge itself. She let out a gasp when she saw Heimdall get knocked off of his feet by many of the butchers that they had been fighting with one another.
Suddenly there is a blast killing the butcher that was about to maul him.
Korg came into view holding a blaster in his rocky hands. "Hey man. I'm Korg. This is Miek."
Miek came into view behind Korg waving.
"We're going to jump on that spaceship and get out of here. Want to come?"
Heimdall looked at the rock creature confused, only to get an answer of a loud noise which revealed Loki coming out of the fog dressed in his armor, his arms wide.
"Your savior is here!" Loki called out his lips quirking a bit as the fog dissipated around him revealing that he was standing on another one of the Grandmaster's ships. He wasn't alone either, he had all of the prisoners that the grandmaster had locked up on Sakaar armed with many weapons.
The ship slowed to a stop in the middle of the bridge.
Loki and the others jumped off of the ship joining in against Hela's forces to keep the Asgardian people safe from the death and destruction that was happening on their beloved planet. "Did you miss me? Everybody on that ship, now."
The refugees began to quickly get onto the ark, but it began to bottleneck due to how many frightened people were trying to get onboard the ship.
Loki walked through the crowd towards Heimdall and Everleigh who was the only one still busy blasting away at the butchers that got even close to them.
Heimdall's lips quirked as he looked at the dark-haired prince. "Welcome home. I saw you coming."
"Of course you did," Loki said as he made his daggers appear in his hands.
Everleigh let out a soft chuckle. "Um gentlemen, a little bit of help here." She called out trying to get the two of them to join back into the fight so they could keep everyone safe and sound.
"Wonderful to see you too darling," Loki said his lips quirking in a bit of a smirk as he and Heimdall along with the gladiators began to fend off Hela's minions to protect those who were still trying to get on board the ark.
Everleigh groaned as she jumped back as a butcher got too close to her trying to slice at her. Everleigh panted softly as she sent another blast of blue magic at the butcher that was trying to kill her. She looked up, her brows furrowed when she noticed that the clouds were rolling in and they were dark. "What in the world…"
Suddenly there was a big blast of lightning causing a loud boom causing everyone to look up at the massive strike that had just happened. Another loud boom was heard and Thor landed on the bridge hard on his feet.
"Damn," Everleigh said seeing Thor moving quickly surging through the butchers in quick jolts of slashing. Her breath came out in pants.
"Darling, I know you want to continue fighting, but your magic is depleting and depleting fast. Go and help the others get onboard the ship."
"But…"
Loki made her look at him as he stabbed another butcher.
Everleigh looked up into his green eyes, her brows furrowed unsure of what Loki was doing. "Loki, what…"
Loki's finger came up to her lips brushing against the soft pinkness. "Please help them get on the ship. You're going to deplete your magic too much."
Everleigh took a soft breath and shook her head. "I want to help."
"Darling, you would be helping."
"Alright…" She moved away from him to help get the people onboard the ship, but to only stop. "Loki."
Loki turned to look at her.
"Be careful."
Loki's lips quirked and nodded his head as he watched her go to help Heimdall.
Everleigh used her magic and made it to the top of the bridge, where Heimdall was in the middle. Everleigh guided them into the ship as quickly as she could. "Please remain calm and don't push. We don't need anyone to get hurt." She called out keeping her voice rather calm so the Asgardians could know that everything would be alright. She looked down seeing Heimdall moving people closer and closer to the ship trying to keep people going.
"Come on everyone," Everleigh said as she carefully continued to filter people into the ship. She looked down at the fighting that was going on below. She could only hope that everyone was going to get onboard the ship quickly and fine. "Careful, try not to trip. No pushing or shoving."
She looked down to see Loki get knocked off of his feet as he was trying to kill another. Her heart rammed in her chest when she saw Loki getting helped up to his feet. She let out a breath of relief. She noticed Hela was on her way toward the ones that hadn't gotten on board. She turned her attention to Heimdall. "Heimdall get them onboard."
Heimdall looked up at her with his golden eyes. "And what are you going to do?"
"What I should've done in the first place. Not let Loki talk me out of fighting." She said as she used her magic to go back towards the field where Loki, Thor, and Valkyrie stood protecting the innocents that hadn't gotten on board yet. She could only hope that Heimdall was able to get everyone on board without anyone dying.
Thor blinked a few times with his only eye seeing Hela come towards them huddling close together. "I think we should disband the Revengers."
"Hit her with a lightning blast." Loki pointed out.
"I just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning. It did nothing."
"We need to hold her off until everybody's on board," Valkyrie said becoming the voice of reason between the two brothers.
Thor looked to the people that were still getting on board behind them. "It won't end there. The longer Hela's on Asgard the more powerful she grows. She'll hunt us down. We need to stop her here and now."
"What's our move?"
"I'm not doing "Get help."" Loki said, looking at Thor and shaking his head.
Thor looked over seeing Hela coming closer. He saw the palace behind her and then realized something.
"Thor?" Everleigh said, looking at him with her brows furrowed. "You came up with something just now didn't you?"
"Asgard's not a place, it's a people. This was never about stopping Ragnarok...it was about causing Ragnarok." He looked over at Loki. "Go to the vault. Surtur's crown. It's the only way."
"Bold move, brother. Even for me." Loki said, looking at his brother. He looked at Everleigh. "Don't get yourself killed, darling."
"I should be saying the same to you, Loki. Hurry and come back to us. We can only hold her off for so long."
Loki tossed his swords to her, surprised that the blonde-haired woman easily caught them.
"Go Loki," Everleigh said, offering him a small smile.
Loki nodded his head leaving the three of them to deal with Hela.
Thor looked over at Everleigh. "We are going to have to talk about this later once everything is finished Lady Everleigh."
Everleigh cleared her throat shyly. "Come on, we got work to do."

This is the end of Chapter 86. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. I kind of made it nice between Loki and Everleigh. And now I'm starting to realize when I started writing this and to the point now, that I think it'll be impossible to have the two of them being fully together by the time that I start writing Infinity War. Meaning that the series Loki will have to grow together. Granted there will be scenes in that story as well that are from this one to kind of connect the two. Please leave a review and let me know what you think. We kind of figured out that Everleigh is starting to like Loki quite a bit and I think it is the same way in return he likes her back. Reviews help me keep going in my writing and it helps with my muse quite a bit. I will be back on Monday with a new update. Until next time.
