Percy woke up in the dark and felt a warm weight in his arms. He looked down at the sleeping face of his girlfriend. He had to stifle a gasp at just how beautiful she was. He reached over and grabbed the special phone Leo made him that doesn't attract monsters and shot a text to his best friend, Annabeth.
'Help! My girlfriend looks like a Greek angel in her sleep. What do I do?'
The phone next to his girlfriend buzzed and her hand reached over and grabbed it, her storm gray eyes opening slowly. She read the message half asleep before typing a response.
'Percy, I'm your girlfriend. You just woke me to tell me I look like an angel.'
Percy laughed and snuggled into Annabeth further. "I'm sorry. I had to tell my best friend about it."
She pouted but it quickly turned to a smile. "Well, as your best friend, I think you should kiss the Greek angel next to you."
Percy leaned in so his face was inches from hers. "You always give the best advice. I think my relationship would be doomed without your support."
She laughed again. "Kiss me already, Seaweed Brain, before I go back to sleep."
He spoke no more as he complied with the request. After a long moment, they broke the kiss. Annabeth grimaced.
"If you wish to keep kissing this angel, you need to brush your teeth first."
Percy laughed and snuggled back into her. "I think I can get to sleep now. I love you, my wise girl."
"I love you too, my Seaweed Brain."
