I can't recall the exact trigger. All I know is that for as long as I can remember, I've always longed to be 'isekai'd'.
Was it due to watching too many animes? Mangas? Or perhaps novels? In truth, it doesn't really matter. As long as I was transmigrated to another world, I'd be content.
Then... something happened.
I was hurrying back home, daydreaming about how great it would be to be sent to another world, especially to one with beautiful girls - yes, I have a weakness for beautiful girls.
As a university student stressed out by my studies, I spent my free time watching anime and you know... anime girls...
On my way home, I saw a child carelessly crossing the street, oblivious to the red light. As a result, a truck was about to hit the poor kid, and as a good citizen who also understood what this meant, I ran towards the girl.
In that moment, my eyes blazed with a deep fire.
The girl, seeing someone rushing towards her, was startled, but upon noticing the man's intense gaze, she got frightened, thinking he was a kidnapper.
"Huh? Why is she running? This isn't right. I should be pushing her away from the truck, and then get hit..." I thought sadly.
Despite being saddened by missing my chance to be transmigrated, I continued chasing after the little girl, but not for the reasons you might think...
It was because there was a freaking truck falling from the sky, heading straight for the little girl!
I quickly realized that this little girl was the target of the truck, meaning she was the one meant to be transmigrated to another world. Knowing this, how could I allow a little girl to be transmigrated to another world, when that was my dream? I mean... how could I let a little girl be killed by a truck?
As a good citizen, I should protect her, yes... that's right, I'm doing this to save her, not because I want to be transmigrated.
Realizing the man was still pursuing her, the little girl pulled a whistle out of her bag and started blowing it. At that time, it was common for children, especially girls, to carry a whistle in their bags. Its purpose was to alert nearby people that she was being followed.
"Damn... doesn't she understand I'm doing this for her safety?" I glanced around, grateful that the street wasn't crowded. There were only a few elderly women who looked at me as if I were the scum of the earth, and some adult women with their cell phones in hand, as if they were contacting the local police.
Knowing I didn't have much time, I bent my knees and sprinted with a speed that even professionals couldn't match. I even felt like I had broken the barriers of a human being.
"Never underestimate the power of a man who wants to be transmigrated!" I shouted.
The truck in the sky, which was about to hit the girl, paused for a few moments. Its front light blinked as if it had been challenged.
The sky, which had been clear, darkened, and thunder began to rumble, causing the people around to run to their homes. The little girl who had been running stopped in her tracks and looked back.
"Hmph!" Huffing, the girl resumed her run, thinking that her pursuer had given up after she blew the whistle.
I sighed in relief, realizing that the truck no longer targeted the little girl.
"Hehe, it's just you and me now, truck-kun." I didn't realize it, but I had a crooked smile on my face, with my eyes showing some signs of madness.
The truck, still suspended in the air, turned its front to face me, the first time it had encountered a human with such a strong desire to be transmigrated.
At this moment, time seemed to slow down.
The man and the truck faced each other.
"AAAAAAH!" Roaring, I ran towards the truck.
I must admit, the human body is truly magnificent. In extreme moments, we can break through our own limits and do things that are considered impossible.
A colossal power accumulated in my body.
Quickly, I realized that my world wasn't as simple as I had imagined. After all, even though my body had surpassed its limits, it was impossible for me to have accumulated so much strength. Whatever... At that moment, I just needed to focus on my 'enemy'.
The truck didn't stay still either. Honking, it came towards me at an incredible speed.
BOOM!
The sound of the explosion was heard by everyone taking shelter from the storm.
The dust that arose from the collision between the man and the truck slowly dispersed, revealing the outcome of the battle.
On the ground, shattered, lay the truck!
"HAHAHA! You damned truck, you almost killed me, but in the end, I won..." I said with a victorious smile. My feet were stepping on what seemed to be the front part of the truck.
"Wait..."
That's when I realized.
"Nooooooooooooo!"
Shouting, I ran to gather the shattered parts of the truck.
"Don't die, truck-kun! You need to transmigrate me and only then you have the permission to die!"
How could I have been so foolish? I killed truck-kun, so how am I going to be transmigrated to another world?
Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from the sky.
My eyes widened as I looked up.
There were dozens, no... thousands of trucks in the sky.
And what surprised me was that all these trucks in the sky seemed to be falling in my direction, as if they wanted to avenge the death of their comrade.
Looking at the trucks falling like meteors, I sighed. "So this is the power of truck-kun... I underestimated him."
Like a true man, I stood up and faced the rain of trucks coming towards me. My lips lifted into a smile. "My moment has come."
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The sound of the explosion only stopped after a few minutes, and when some brave souls went to see what had happened, they found a huge crater where there once was a beautiful street.
"What happened here?"
"Did a meteor fall?"
"Look for any injured, it's impossible that an explosion of this magnitude didn't hurt someone!"
Quickly, a crowd gathered near the crater, searching for survivors. Fortunately, there were no injuries, or perhaps any nearby people had been vaporized.
What no one noticed was that on a nearby mountain, there was a huge truck observing everything.
If the man who had died had still been alive, he would probably recognize this truck, as it was the one he had defeated.
The truck, looking at the crater, emitted smoke from its exhaust, as if recognizing the man as a worthy and entertaining opponent.

Notes:
This is my first time writing a fanfic, I will do my best!
If you find any grammar errors or have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Regarding the chapter itself, this first chapter is basically a brief introduction to the protagonist. Initially, I intended to use the first chapter to show the MC already in the DxD world, but I decided to make this short chapter focused on 'comedy'.
