Behind the scene
-First kiss-
Chapter 2
In the evening
Robert is still on his way.
Judith flips through the script again. Back and forth. She knows the scenes well by heart.
...it's going to be fun to play the drunk Angela... but the kissing, slightly restrained Angela... well...
That's when the phone rings
"Hallo Judith Light here"
"Hey my darling, unfortunately I won't be finished here before tomorrow, I won't be back home until tomorrow noon, I just wanted to wish you a wonderful night, go to bed early so that you are well rested for tomorrow and don't worry, everything will be fine, you will do it - I love you!"
"ok Robert, yes, I love you too". She hangs up the phone
9 p.m.
Judith gets ready for bed to get at least a little sleep. She puts on her silk nightgown, brushes her teeth and goes to bed.
Sleeping is easier said than done. Again, the same thoughts that are buzzing around in her head and keeping her awake.
She tosses and turns, from one side to the other.
Pick up a magazine, start reading it ... the best recipes for spring...aja... She rolls her eyes and puts the magazine aside again.
Sits on . Then she gets out of bed and goes to her living room. It's almost midnight. She sits down on the couch and stares at the phone. Then she picks up the phone and dials a number ...it's already late, but maybe he'll answer it...
It tutt
"Hello... Danza?
„Oh hi Tony...it´s me „
„Hi Judy, what`s up?"
"Sorry for the late interruption..." she pauses
"Yes? No problem. What's up? he asks again.
"You know, I can't sleep, I can't sleep again..."
Tony asks: "OK tell me, what's going on?"
Judith hesitates, "I don't want to bother you and Tracy for long."
"First of all, you don't disturb and secondly, Tracy isn't there and won't be back from Canada until next week." "What about Robert, why don't you talk to him?"
"No, Robert isn't here..."
"I'm coming here..."
„But Tony!?"
He hangs up the phone.
...Oh my God, as sleepy as I look now... She quickly runs to the bathroom and freshens up a little, then puts on her white silk dressing gown.
Later.
The doorbell rings.
Judith hurries there.
She opens the door and Tony walks in, "hey." He says, giving her a light kiss on the cheek.
"Hi," she says, smiling. "Why don't you come in, we'll go to the living room."
He runs after her, both of them sat down on the sofa.
"Would you like a drink?" she asks him.
"Yes, of course, what do you have there? Scotch, wisky, I'll take it all... I think it's going to be a long night!" he laughs out loud.
"TONY!"
"All right, all right, that was just kidding, I'll take a black tea," he says with a grin.
"Gladly," she says and goes into the kitchen. She puts on the water, Tony goes to the kitchen behind her for a few minutes and sits down at the table.
Judith puts a cup in front of him and puts the tea bag in it.
"So, now I'm here, now tell me, what's going on?"
She sits down with him at the table, crosses her legs, the silk fabric falls down to the side.
Tony notices this, but without batting an eyelid, he looks into her eyes. If only out of respect and without wanting to get ulterior motives.
"Tony...I can't sleep"
"You've already said that... and? I also often can't sleep, what's the more specific problem?"
"It's because of tomorrow"
"Because of tomorrow?" He scratches his head and has a questioning look.
"Yes, the scene where we kiss..." She blushes and looks away. She's usually not the shy type, but somehow the mere thought of it embarrasses her.
Tony looks very confused, "but Judith... why? I beg you, let's just kiss... Maybe it will even be very nice, it's just a scene kiss nothing more. I've already seen you naked and you're worried about a kiss," he waves his left hand wildly back and forth.
"Yes, sort of," she shrugs. He first puts his hand on her bare knee, but quickly realizes that this is inappropriate and quickly pulls it away. "oh sorry...so you really don't have to worry, really not Judy!" The cauldron starts whistling. They both stare at each other. Judith frowns, lost in her thoughts. The constant whistling finally travels them out "oh".
"It's all right, I'll do it" Tony gets up, walks behind her, but then pushes her slightly to the side with his hand on her hip and takes the kettle off the stove. He pours himself the hot water, takes a second cup with a tea bag and pours the water into it as well.
"Well, I don't know why you're so bothered. I'm a fabulous kisser, no question, you don't have to worry about that," he says with a mischievous smile on his lips,
"Ha Tony, I'm sure I'm not worried.." ...everyone can say that he's a good kisser...It's more the scene itself, you know, so we're both colleagues and good friends and..."
He looks directly at her eyes when he moves the tea bag back and forth in his cup, "And what? Worried that could be more?"
"What, no... No!" she waves her arms back and forth.
He gets wide-eyed. "Ok Judy you can't really talk about it...I understand that, don't worry. The kiss will be good, it will look good in front of the camera, it will be short and painless, it is our job and good is. But you already know that Angela and Tony will kiss more often?" he says with a piercing look.
She rolls her eyes, "Tony, yes, I know that!"
"Well, if you know that, everything is wonderful," he drinks his tea.
Judith turns red in the face. Tony notices this and puts his hand on hers. He smiles softly at her and nods at her.
He knows exactly what she thinks and how she feels, but neither of them wants to say it.
After an hour, she accompanies him to the door.
"Bye Judy, please try to sleep" he hugs her closely, and presses a kiss to her cheek.
A tingling sensation runs through her body. "Thank you Tony, see you tomorrow then"
"See you tomorrow," he winks at her.
