Day 3, 9:00 AM
Fresh Ent. - Lobby
Brea, Blaineley, Chef, and Don were all just seated by the lobby's benches along with their cameramen and staff members. Both Chef and Don were just having a small manly chat whilst Blaineley was about to sleep on the bench's armchair. Brea on the other hand though, looked irritated to the bone.
"Ugh, where is that lady?" Brea yawned. "I'm not even gonna be surprised if someone here pulls off a you-know-who and has her hostage in the basement. Then again, the basement is off limits even to us hosts so I doubt that she would go there-"
"OHHHHHH BIIIIIIIIITCHEEEEEEESSSSS!" A loud screech was heard, followed by the front entrance bursting open. This also caused Blaineley to jerk up, wide awake again. Even Don and Chef stopped talking.
Brea rolled her eyes and stood up from her seat. "About damn time."
"Guess what I just did!" The pink haired hostess squealed excitedly.
"You killed a bear?"
"You fired an intern?"
"You kicked off a contestant?"
"You wasted your earnings on something you don't even need?"
"No, no, no, and most of all, no." Misha facepalmed in annoyance. "God, you guys are so fucking bad at guessing."
"Well what DID you do, anyway?" Brea groaned. "Please don't tell me you did some nonsense while you were away."
"Remember all those challenge ideas I suggested before I passed the host auditions?" Misha rubbed her hands vigorously.
"Yeah, what about 'em?" Chef asked as he jutted a finger on his chin.
Misha let out a loud laugh. "Because it looks like we could do one for today!"
"Oh god so help me… what is it now..." Brea winced.
"We are doing… Capture the Flag! But the twist is, the cast is doing it with race cars!" Misha revealed.
"Oh, Capture the Flag, how hard would that be?" Blaineley chuckled before realizing what she had just said. "Wait… did you just said race cars?"
"Yep! And guess what, we had enough money to rent the whole goddamn stadium nearby and it had a cool ass race track on it, so how could I say no?" Misha said as a matter of factly.
"You… WHAT!?" Brea shouted, almost not believing what she just heard. "You know, we even barely started this season. We're only on episode two as of this point and now you decided to use our budget like a storm. Wow whee."
"Hey, it's not my fault the race track looked cool as fuck! Wanna see?" Misha asked the hosts; fishing out her smartphone in the process to show them the pictures of the said race track she had taken earlier.
The other four hosts walked up to her, some with curiosity written in their faces and one with… a completely annoyed look on her face, but let's not mind about that. What caught their eye the most anyway was the shape of the stadium itself.
"Is this a new establishment?" Don asked. "Because if so… how interesting it is for the building to be shaped that way…"
"Ya think?" Misha asked him. "Also this is the race track we're talking about here and not the stadium itself so do me a favor and shoot."
"Oh well, make me." Chef shrugged but continued to glue his eyes on the sight anyway. "So, what do these so-called race cars look like?"
The hosts skimmed the photos through their eyes, with different expressions and reactions varying from each host.
"This?" Brea asked. "You know, if these cars ended up being faster than a Porsche, then I am so dead once the families of these contestants find out that we are doing shit on them."
"Ahem."
Everyone turned to see the director of the season. "When do you all plan to film the intro?"
"Uh… right now, sorry." Blaineley cleared her throat sheepishly as she decided to lead on the other hosts.
"We're rolling in three… two… one…"
"Welcome, viewers of Total Drama!" The five hosts greeted enthusiastically.
"Last time, we got to see the side of everyone that would make them want to be the super shining star of the spotlight!" Don flourished.
"And even though we got some new hints of friendships, rivalries, and even relationships," Brea began. "These may start up or crush down greatly due to the new teams everyone had been placed on."
"And that's right, assholes! We brought back some of the gameplay policies and mechanics from the previous season! These include the shitty power-ups, the fucking Major and Minor teams, and even the ever so goddamned Time Signature!" Misha cheered.
"But will everyone prevail amd live for another day?" Blaineley asked towards the camera.
"Or will someone be the first to bite down the dust and go home?" Chef asked as well. "But all of that will be answered… hopefully… right here and right now in-"
"Total Drama Act III: Odyssey of Performance!"
"Aaaaaand cut!" The cameraman ordered.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"That was honestly the best intro we filmed for this season and we barely even started." Brea laughed off to the side as the opening theme song began playing.
Total Drama Act III: Odyssey of Performance
Episode 2: Breaking Through
"You might as well have assigned people who CAN'T do these things. You're not even trying to be considerate."
Day 3, 11:00 AM
Dorm Room 1
Orlando, Gustav, and Edgar were currently in their room fixing their things to get ready for the day. Unlike the previous day, they were actually allowed to wake up pretty late today so it was a plus for them.
As Orlando put on a dark green short sleeved button up shirt and black jean shorts, he fished out a comb from his backpack to fix his hair. "So where did the others go?"
Gustav shrugged as he got a maroon tee with torn sleeves from his backpack and put it on. "I have no idea. I know Gordoff went over to the cafeteria to make breakfast I think. Not sure where Julian, Bob, and Therion went."
Edgar sighed as he sat on his bed, fumbling the hem of his black Linkin Park shirt. "I don't know. I am also hoping that there would be no elimination on this challenge today."
Gustav chuckled. "Hey, at least the majority of you are on the Major team and well, you know, don't have to face elimination this early. Julian and I are both the only ones here who are on Minor, on Minor A to be exact. Plus, I'm not sure if Julian could even be trusted."
"Eh, I have faith in you." Orlando simply told him, accidentally dropping his comb to the floor in the process. "Oops."
He bent down in order to get his comb, but something caught his eye just below his bunk. He reached out and picked it up. It looked… black and shiny.
"What…" he almost muttered to himself as he examined it.
"What is it?" Edgar asked as he jumped off from his bed and approached him. Even Gustav took a peek at what the two boys were both holding.
"It looks like one of those figurines the hosts showed us the other day." Gustav pointed out, the German jutted his chin in thought. "Although, I don't know what kind of figurine is this."
"...Can I see it?" Edgar asked Orlando. The party boy nodded and carefully gave it to the emo, who examined it thoroughly.
"One straight stem... the round part has a hole… a Half Note?"
Both Orlando and Gustav just stared at him, not even knowing whether to believe his answer or not.
"Oh great, you don't believe me."
"Hold up." Orlando said, grabbing his backpack and fished out his phone. He gained access to the internet and began searching up on what a Half Note looked like. "Yup. Edgar's right."
"At least I was right for once." shrugged the emo.
The three boys stared at each other for a bit.
"Who wants to keep it?" asked Orlando.
This wasn't a hard question for the other two boys who were inside the room.
"Well you found it, so it's only fair that you get to keep it." Gustav said.
Edgar gave Orlando the figurine, the party boy keeping it in his pocket afterwards.
"Thanks guys. But while we're still here, are you guys up for an alliance? Us three?"
Edgar thought about Orlando's offer for a bit but nodded. "Well… I don't see why not, I guess."
"But I'm not in a Major team though, let alone on your team." Gustav pointed out.
Orlando patted the boy's back as he wore a confident smile. "Who knows, maybe you'll advance to the Major team in the elimination ceremony."
"...and maybe get rid of someone that could cause drama on our team?" Edgar meekly spoke.
"That could work." Orlando shrugged.
"Okay guys, count me in. We're all here in the same room anyway, we could just meet up if we have to." Gustav spoke with a smile as all three boys gave friendly high fives.
Hallway - Hosts' Headquarters
An intense atmosphere arose as the scene panned to a door opening, revealing the four interns, and two contestants, namely Bellona and Therion leaving the room.
Both Bellona and Mara had their hair up in a mess as if they just got out of bed. Therion and Ulysses all had bruises and marks on their faces and arms. Even Jacob had a huge scratch on his arm. Only Raina seemed to be unharmed by the whole incident, but from the looks of it, it seemed as though she was roped into the situation as well.
"Interns, just go back to your headquarters." Brea instructed them. "You can't go out for the whole day."
The four of them wanted to whine, but kept their mouths shut anyway.
"And you two," she looked over towards Bellona and Therion. "Keep your drama to yourselves. We would've had enough of it last season until YOU came in." Brea added, pointing a finger towards Bellona. "So for god's sake, if you don't want to be disqualified, get a hold of your damn self together, you hear me!?"
"Yes, I freaking hear you, gosh!" Bellona rolled her eyes, but Therion stomped on her foot.
"Just… stay out of trouble." Brea sneered, before slamming the door shut behind her.
Therion couldn't even control his anger at this point and shot at her. "Bellona… what the hell!? You thought it was only between us!? That even they wouldn't get involved!?"
"Well it's not my fault that they're there listening in the costume room anyway!" The fighter shot back.
"You know what, all of this wouldn't happen today if you weren't following me in the first place!" Therion roared, wanting to hit her now here and there, but stopped himself as he knew he would probably get himself as far as being disqualified from the game. "Just… get out of my sight."
"But my love..."
"GET. AWAY. FROM ME." Therion threatened.
Tears well up from Bellona's eyes as she ran away from him. However, a small smirk was also growing on her lips.
Garden
Bob was seated on the garden bench, scrolling through his phone. He didn't seemed quite hally though as he kept scrolling, like as if something was bothering him. A saddened expression was written on his face, most likely emphasizing the fact that something might have been up.
Suddenly, a water balloon hit him on the back, causing him to yell out in surprise. He turned back, only to see Abigail behind him, laughing hysterically.
"Oh my god… you should've have seen your face!" The prankster kept on laughing but stopped as she saw his expression. "Oh sorry, I disturbed you."
"No, you're alright." Bob sighed as he stopped scrolling for a bit, taking a good look at a picture of a brunette girl and a blond boy who looked pretty happy together. The post of the caption also had several hearts on it and-
"Aw, that girl looks really pretty, who's she?" Abigail asked giddily.
The victorian dressed boy quickly shut off his phone before the prankster could see anything else. "That's…" he sighed. "...my sister."
"Your sister? But she doesn't look like you, though!" Abigail chuckled. "But then again, not all siblings look alike, haha."
Well, she didn't knew that he was lying anyway. He was an only child. And that girl was definitely not his sister.
Abigail waved a hand over his face. "Hey, you okay?"
"Yes, I'm alright, thanks for asking." Bob said in a monotone voice before he stood up and left, leaving Abigail confused at what had just happened.
Abigail (Major A): "I know we're on different teams but sometimes I just can't help pranking him every now and then. But now he seems kinda bothered. So I'm thinking if that picture of that pretty girl and the guy he was staring at earlier has to do something with it."
Music Room
Vanessa, Mag, and Marion were currently in the music room. The place looked slightly bigger than the room back in the theater, but somehow, the setup still looked the same; a grand piano in the middle, with several instruments divided based on their families placed on every corner of the room, everything looked pretty much elegantly the same, which was honestly quite incredible.
Vanessa was playing the piano masterfully with her skills, with Mag watching by. Marion was also present as she glanced at them every now and then, looking at the instriments as well. The two veterans decided to tag along the fasionista despite the fact that she was on a different team than they were, but they decided as they were all dorm mates after all.
"So I'm guessing that you guys do this often back at the theater?" Marion asked as she looked at Vanessa's fingers effortlessly skidding through the piano keys.
"Not really that much." The pianist chuckled. "I hang out in here sometimes with some of my teammates. Sometimes Beatrice, the other pianist, also hangs out in the music room with Ryder and his girlfriend May. Well, of course things changed since we're in a new season and that theater is… gone now."
Mag almost shuddered the thought about what happened to the theater last season. She was not physically there with some of the others that time, but it was hard for her to imagine all the shit they went through especially during that one day when everything just fell apart. "Yeah, it's kind of hard to imagine."
Marion could already tell how uncomfortable the two were, and decided to clear her throat to change the course of things. "Oh um, sorry if I said that."
"That's fine, we still had some good memories from that theater anyway, haha." Vanessa chuckled but stopped as she accidentally hit a wrong note. "Whoops."
Mag laughed at her demise. "Oh my god, Vanessa. Remember that one judge from last season where she hoped to become your piano mentor? That would've been so cool. That is if she didn't… you know..."
"Maybe you could teach me someday." Marion said gleefully towards to Vanessa. "Learning an instrument or two wouldn't hurt. I mean, it's not like we don't have a piano back at my mansion but I just never got the chance to ask one of my butlers to teach me how to play, so there's that."
"Cool, I could teach you maybe during our spare time." Vanessa smiled, liking the idea. "Mag will be here to check your attendance."
"Oh, shut up Vanessa Navarro." Mag rolled her eyes playfully as the three girls all shared a good laugh.
Kitchen
Chef was busy cooking lunch with someone he didn't really expect that much. That person was Gordoff, who seemed to be mixing some soup from a pot.
"You sure that that pot could fit everyone, maggot?" Chef asked the chef (oh how ironic) while he worked on chopping up some vegetables.
"Of course I'm sure." Gordoff quickly answered, mixing the soup for a few seconds before getting another spoon for a taste test. Once he did so, he made an unsatisfied face. "I thought I already put that much salt in here-"
"Probably you didn't." Another voice rang from the kitchen entrance.
It was Blake. The slav sauntered over to him, grab another spoon to taste Gordoff's soup for herself. "Mhmm… needs something else."
"So are you saying that you're a better cook than I am, huh?" Gordoff asked the girl, pulling up the sleeves of his chef's uniform up to his elbows looking almost as if he was seeking for a fight.
"So are you saying that I can't cook like you?" Blake chuckled. "No wonder why Chef asked you to help him out and not me."
Chef scratched his head in a confusion. "I thought I told you that you could help me out in dinner."
"Well hallelujah, praise the lord, you didn't." Blake revealed. "But… I have something even better."
Gordoff groaned as he added a few of Chef's chopped vegetables on the pot of soup. "What?"
"I challenge Gordoff to a cook-off for tonight's dinner." Blake declared. "Get it, because Gordoff rhymes with cook-off- oh never mind."
Chef was drinking a bottle of water and almost wheezed, causing him to cough out and spit all the water he drank. "Ha! So are you saying that you're deeming me useless!?"
Blake sighed and rolled her eyes. "It's not that, Chef. Just a friendly match, that's all."
"Hmph, friendly my ass." Gordoff muttered.
"What?"
"I mean… fine, challenge accepted."
Both teenage cooks went up to each other and respectfully shook their hands with Chef giving them a slight uneasy expression from the back.
"May the best cook win tonight." Blake smirked.
Dorm Room 2
Irene was busy watching a woman singing an opera song as the door opened and slammed shut.
"Huh?" The opera singer rose up and looked to see that Toxa had just entered the room. "Oh, it's you. Where on earth have you been?"
"Messing with some veterans." Toxa nonchalantly answered, plopping herself on to her own bunk.
Hearing this, Irene stepped out of her own bunk to sit next to the veteran. "Oh, I like the sound of that…"
"Ahh, you do, huh?" Toxa cooed, a huge smirk forming on to her lips. "Why don't you join me then? We can sabotage and have everyone else get their bags packing… and it'll just be you and me in the finale."
Irene was liking these suggestions from the veteran… it almost tempted her to join the girl.
"Count me in." She winked at Toxa, who giddily laughed in return. Irene began to crawl up on Toxa in order to sat herself up next to her-
The door suddenly opened, revealing a very shocked and confused Tess. "Oh- oh my god, sorry, wrong room!" The artist gasped and quickly closed the door.
Irene and Toxa both looked at the door, before at each other. "Hmmm… where do we start then?" Irene asked.
Toxa straightened up her hair. "Since we are on different teams, let's try and bring out the worst in our groupmates first. Then, we'll think of something we can do together."
"I like that~"
Dorm Room 4
Crystal was about to head to the bathroom to wash her face when the door suddenly opened, almost hitting her in the process.
"Whoa… be careful please." She meekly said, before looking up to the person who entered. It was no other than Tess, who looked seemingly out of place. "Hey, are you okay? You… you just look like you've seen some sort of ghost."
Tess took a moment to calm herself down. "Well, it's probably because I almost entered on the wrong room."
Crystal shrugged. "I wouldn't be too surprised if it was one of the boys' rooms."
"Well, it's not. In fact, I just saw something weird."
Crystal raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Like… what exactly?"
"I don't exactly know what I just saw but," Tess finally regained her composure and merely leaned against the door behind her, sighing as she continued. "I accidentally saw Irene and Toxa in the other girls' room. Either they were gonna sit next to each other and talk about things or they were gonna kiss and make out just based on their position on the bed."
Crystal was still confused at what she had just heard. She thought that either this girl was having a hallucination or she was just paranoid at the fact she opened someone else's room, so she just laughed sheepishly. "Hahahaha… that's kinda funny-"
"No no no no no… Crystal, you're not really getting the point." Tess grabbed both of Crystal's shoulders much to the surprise of the other girl. "Imagine what would happen if they were together. I mean, I honestly couldn't care about too much but it's just wrong."
"So… you think they're dating?" Crystal was extra confused at this point. "I mean, yeah it would be weird since they only knew each other for about less than a week but-"
"I don't know, I'm probably just not getting any good vibes from them." Tess sighed and laid herself down on her bunk.
Crystal nodded. "Yeah… I guess we should jist keep an eye out for them or something… especially since they are on different teams."
Dorm Room 3
Colin almost flinched as he saw Ryder enter the room with a fuming expression. He quickly went up to him, developing a feeling of concern to his long-time competition.
"Are you okay?"
Ryder quickly shook his head. "No. I feel like Toxa was trying to invade my privacy."
The drama king raised an eyebrow in confusion. Invading people's privacy wasn't something that Toxa would do. Yes, she did some questionable things in the previous season like indirectly injuring someone from the Act I cast by using her former competition. But he thought that this was going too far.
"How?"
"Well, I was texting with May. You know, May Gale? Our former teammate? Yeah. Then Toxa just came out of nowhere and snatched my phone and read the messages." Ryder explained briefly.
Colin grimaced at Toxa's actions. "Well, of course there has to be a reason behind it."
"Well the question is, what is the reason behind it?"
"Yeah, she can't just do that out of nowhere." Colin sighed. "Well, now at least I know that someone is worse than me social-wise."
Ryder shrugged. "Yeah, I could agree to that I guess. But just… why?"
Colin (Major A): "I always feel like I will be the first boot since I am a veteran. Then again, so is Toxa. And there is no way that she won't be targeted for her attitudes and intentions."
"We need to get rid of her." Ryder declared. "And fast. Before she pulls off another stunt similar like what she did to Lyle last season."
Colin looked down on to the floor. "But what if..."
"What if what?"
"What if she doesn't get eliminated? Or disqualified? I mean, the hosts love the drama. Maybe excluding Misha, but still. What if the show is biased on her? Maybe they may even pull off a stunt like Antoinette's elimination last season." Colin explained his side.
Ryder looked at him, and onto the floor as well. "It could be possible… or… it could be just you being a pessimist again."
"...Of course…" Colin sighed.
Lounge Area
The lounge area of the building was pretty crowded for now. Julian was reading a book, Drew was smoking off to the side, Vernon and Jeremy were chitchatting, and Fabio was also present but somehow disappeared a few minutes later.
"Drew, would you please stop smoking?" Julian sighed as he covered his nose. "This is a smoke free area, you know!"
Drew nonchalantly pointed to the "Smoke Area" sign next to him, much to Julian's disappointment.
"Well, I hope you will regret it one day, sooner or later, because your lungs aren't going to be in a perfect place if you keep that up." Julian explained his side.
"Gotcha." Drew mouthed as he flicked two thumbs-ups with his fingers.
"Ugh," Julian sighed.
The camera pans over to Jeremy and Vernon. The former was talking about his favorite musicals while the latter kept on writing on his notebook as he listened.
"But I still don't understand how me and Marion lost that first challenge." Jeremy scratched his head. "Like do they not like Heathers? Come on!"
"Well, I haven't been listening to that much musicals." Vernon shrugged.
Jeremy chuckled. "Musicals aren't just full of songs, though. They have a story to tell."
"Do I hear the word musical?" Fabio smirked as he walked up to them, and pulled up a nearby chair next to Jeremy. It seemed as if they had been getting along these past few days. "I do have my fair share of musicals that we used to reenact during these past few years."
Jeremy sighed. "Heh, I wish I could be like you Fabio, being able to perform in front of a bunch of people while I can only perform when I'm alone in a room."
"Well I for one think you did a tremendous job with that duet you did with Marion. Shame that you two didn't make it to team Major though." Fabio sympathized.
"Funny how everyone here except for Drew is on team Minor right now." Vernon chuckled.
Drew popped off his cigarette to yell out, "I heard that!"
"Of course you did." Julian muttered as he rolled his eyes.
Ground Floor - Girls' Restroom
Meanwhile, Luciana, Yves, and Sara were all in the girls' restroom, doing different things. Luciana was just washing her face since according to her, someone was taking way too long in their dorm room's bathroom. Sara was just combing her hair using an old comb she had on her back pack, and Yves just exited one of the stalls.
"I'll be outside if any of you guys need me." Yves said as she exited the restroom.
Sara could only roll her eyes. "Ugh, that girl is nuts. She's been acting extremely suspicious." She said as she fixed the shoelaces of her worn out shoes.
"Maybe that is just her strategy." Luciana said as she pulled out a small lipstick. She generally never wore any makeup, but it just helped her kill some time whilst she talked to Sara anyway. "But then again, I kinda find it annoying."
"Glad you think the same way I do." Sara chuckled and stood up. "Wanna vote her off or something? Her observer schtick is just way off at this point."
Luciana thought of it. It could be a good way to get her into a higher position.
"Or we could just vote her on to Major so she wouldn't bother you anymore."
"That won't work." Sara opposed. "She is still our roommate. Besides, getting her onto Major can only be around seventy-five percent guaranteed that she won't get eliminated."
"Hm, that's true… we could try and get the other Minor B members to get her off."
"Sounds like a plan." Sara smiled and the two shook hands.
It was about one in the afternoon as the sun shone brightly in the sky. Everyone had now been called over to the parking lot.
"Alright, get your asses up annd board on the bus." Misha commanded. "And hurry up."
The teens were the first to enter the bus, followed by the hosts.
"Where to?" asked the bus driver.
"To that newly built stadium not far from here, if I'm correct." Don answered. And with that, they were on their way.
Challenge 2: "Car"ture the Flag (Location: City Race Track Stadium)
As the bus pulled off by the parking lot of said stadium, the contestants inside couldn't help but take a peek at their windows as the massive sight.
"Oh come on, what kind of challenge are we doing this time?" Mag sighed on her seat.
Ignoring this (much to Mag's annoyance), Misha signalled everyone to exit the bus. Everyone quickly stood up and walked into the aisleway to the exit, eager to see the sight right in front of them but luckily, no one was rude enough to shove people off to the side to make way for themselves (well, except for maybe Bellona or Toxa).
"Move it, idiots! And hurry the hell up because this bus is starting to smell like sweat!" Bellona called out from the back, nearly shoving off poor Crystal in the process with the girl letting out a squeak.
Once everyone exited the bus, they all looked around themselves. The parking area was wide and empty, so judging by that, the stadium would be empty as well, with no people inside whatsoever.
Misha sighed and rolled her eyes, prompting everyone to follow her once she sauntered forward. "Let's hurry the fuck up. We only rented this race track and the cars for like, two hours and I don't want to waste any precious time."
As everyone made it inside the stadium after all the security checking (in case if anyone pulls off a Hah and brings in a weapon), they stepped onto the main area, where the race track was located. However, what made them shocked is the location of the stadium since it was right next to several railroad tracks and a small lake was located perpendicular to that… and finally, from where they were standing at, they could see that the shape of said stadium was only… a half oval.
"What the…" Orlando said in disbelief. "What- what kind of stadium is this? This is literally like… the shape of a banana!"
"More looks like a crescent moon to me." Tess remarked, astonished at the unique shape. "This could be an amazing sight to paint though!"
"Yeah yeah, enough with all the shape shit. We've already wasted like ten minutes doing god knows what, you know!" Misha yelled. "Now go over to the grounds because you guys are gonna be in cars. We'll explain the challenge from there." She added, pointing towards a certain area by the grass where four cars were located: a red one, a green one, a blue one, and finally, a yellow one.
With this, the cast ran down the stairs and onto the main grounds.
"Bro, how did you even rent a whole ass stadium to yourselves when it's literally a freaking ghost town over here?" Drew asked, and began looking at all the cars that were there. They look like race cars, but they also look like they could fit a lot of people, maybe around five to six persons.
"Listen now, ask later!" Misha shushed him. The other four hosts behind her just watched neutrally as the former contestant from last season hog up the hosts' screentime. "So you bitches think you're going in for a race? Well, boo-hoo! You're wrong! You're actually going for a game of capture the flag, but with cars!"
"That's weird. Capture the flag has like, a lot of people running and defending their flag, so how will we do it with just four cars?" Luciana asked from the back of the group.
A pause happened, as Misha gave her the stop gesture with my hands. "Just… fucking listen for one minute."
"Oh, okay." Luciana winced and stepped back.
"Each team will have one person safely tied up for safety in the roof of the car. That person will wield the flag, and it's their job to protect it. They are also tasked to steal other people's flags. First team who has captured two flags will win. Teams with no flags, well, you'll be up for the consequences." Misha explained.
"Hey, that's not fair, that person has to do all the work, then!" Marion protested.
"...For the love of god…" Misha groaned in annoyance but controlled herself anyway. "Aside from that, you guys will each have one driver assigned. The rest who are inside of the car will assist just the driver and the flag wielder if possible."
Everyone looked at each other with mixed expressions.
Vanessa (Major B): "Oh wow, this is going to be so much fun… not! Gosh, do they know how dangerous these challenges get? Really, there were like… four challenges last season that nearly got us killed you know! And now this episode… we have to deal with cars?"
She sighed.
"Then again, I should probably be glad that Misha didn't choose robots." She shuddered.
"Ditto." Mag said, barging into the confessional room.
"...ever heard of privacy, Miranda?" Vanessa eyed the girl.
"Oh right, sorry." Mag quickly apologized and left the pianist alone.
"HEY!"
Everyone quickly turned to Chef who held up his watch.
"We have a hundred and five minutes left and we still haven't done anything yet!"
"Yeah, now you guys have three minutes to decide on who does what while we get these cars ready." Blaineley informed them before the hosts all went over to where the cars are parked.
The teens all grouped up with their respective teams as the camera pans over to Major A.
"So," Drew began, getting out a cigarette and a lighter out from his pocket and lit it up, smoking for a bit. "Who's driving?"
Irene quickly swatted the lounge singer's hand, causing him to drop his cigarette, landing into the floor.
"Hey! What gives?"
"You're smoking." The opera singer huffed. "We are in a stadium and for your information, smoking isn't supposed to be allowed in the premises."
Drew chuckled. "Well for YOUR information sweet lips, this is an OUTDOOR stadium you are talking about here. Hell, this isn't even… you know… shaped well! So just let me do my thang or somethin'."
"Whatever. You're driving and that is final." Irene rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
Blake cleared her throat once eveyone was quiet and rolled her eyes. "Thanks for that, I needed some quiet time anyway." Shee scoffed sarcastically. "Well then, anyone wanted to be the flag wielder? How about you, Abigail? I mean you are a prankster after all, maybe we could use that to our advantage?"
Abigail laughed sheepishly, keeping her hands in the pockets of her skirt. "I kinda left my bag at the dorm so… I've got nothing on me right now. Maybe I could try, but it sounds pretty dangerous."
"Anyone else?" Blake asked. "I'll help out with navigating. I kinda know how to drive for a bit, just in case Drew here starts oggling at other contestants."
"Hmph, fair enough." Drew snorted.
"Colin? Therion? Tess?"
"I would love to do that if I want to die." Colin remarked.
No one moved for a moment.
"Okay…" Therion looked on the ground. "On second thought, I don't want to do it as well."
"Me neither, it's too dangerous." Tess added.
Everyone looked at the artist.
"What?"
"Well, you're the last person to refuse so…" Blake scratched her arm. "Hate to say this but you're doing it."
Tess began to whine a little, not really liking the role she was given. "Aww wait, why me?"
"Blake just told you the reason and that is final. No exceptions." Irene reminded her as if she were some kind of strict mother. Tess could only groan for a bit, but will just comply anyway as this is for the team.
"Okay then."
"That's good." Therion sighed in relief, happy that the planning was over with. "But if I were you, I'd be extra careful, Tess. I'd hate for someone to… you know, die."
"I won't die, guys. How dangerous could it be?'
Colin (Major A): "She might have forgotten the fact that these are race cars we're talking about here."
With Major B, they were also having a bit of a pickle with who could do what… but not as much as Major A did.
"So who's going up on the roof?" Vanessa asked.
"I could do it." Both Bellona and Mag said at the same time, which only caused both girls to glare daggers at each other.
"I'll do it. I can handle all the shit the hosts can bring us." Mag volunteered.
"I've been in more fucked up situations and this is no exception." Bellona smirked. "So let me do it."
"Hell even your goals are pretty fucked up, you know that?" Mag scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Honestly, if I were you, I'd just sit inside the car than going up on the roof while oggling my eyes at Therion rather than protecting the flag! Knowing you, you'd probably do the latter anyway."
"You know what!?" Bellona stomped up to the female veteran. "I'm not even gonna play fucking dumb and spill what do I even intend to do anyway, so if I were you and your heavy ten inch platform heels, I'd turn a 180 from the soles of my own goody two feet and walk my way out of here. Either that, or you stay in the car…" Bellona gave a random pause. "And let only the expert handle it."
Gordoff rolled his eyes. "No offense to you or whatever, Bellona. But sometimes, you look like a cow."
Gordoff (Major B): "Because you know… they have beef with each other now… okay I'll stop."
Edgar, despite his rather pessimistic and Colin-like nature, even let out a quick chuckle from him before realizing that Bellona was staring dagger at him. "Oop… sorry… my bad. I'll just go now-"
"No one's going anywhere unless I say so." Vanessa declared and stood up. "We don't have any clear leaders for each team anyway, but as the oldest person competing in this team, let alone maybe in this game, I will definitely see what would be going between the lot of you."
"Oldest shmoldest, who the fuck cares, you know?" Bellona scoffed loudly. "Face it. You would regret it if I'm not up there."
After Bellona said her own side, everyone fell silent.
"Uh, I could drive?" Orlando volunteered for the group, as he thought that they were going nowhere by this point.
Bob quickly patted him on the shoulder. "Guess it's up to you now, my fellow teammate. Wish you the best of luck."
The party boy let out a loud laugh. "Yeah sure, let's do this." He said, standing up but was stopped by Bellona.
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, who said you can drive?"
"I did. I mean, how hard could it be?"
Gordoff sighed loudly and groaned. "Just let him do it, Bellona. At least he volunteered in a way that isn't like yours and Mag's."
Mag just merely shrugged, ignoring the glare Bellona was sending her way as Edgar took a step back from the both of them in case things get out of hand.
Edgar (Major B): "I am… almost a hundred percent sure that they will keep this up. Because… if they did so, then we are guaranteed to lose. Maybe they'll vote me out because I couldn't do anything."
Minor A fairly had a quick time deciding whcih two members will play a major part of the team.
"I could drive." Gustav quickly volunteered himself. "I mean sure, these are race cars and all but we could pull this off if we would be careful and I can do that."
"I'll be navigating your routes then." Marion simply stated whilst shrugging towards the end. "I could just tell you where to go between left or right or something."
Julian crossed his arms. "Very well, could let you two do so but once you two mess this up, I do not know anymore." He threatened, which didn't bother either of them anyway. "We have to assign someone who could endure themselves on the top of the car. Even just a simple brake from the car could send that person toppling away and we really don't want that."
Toxa turned to both Crystal and Vernon the typically quiet ones as they haven't said a single word throughout the whole ordeal just yet. "Hey! Speak up! Time is gold here in this challenge if you all don't know!"
Crystal gulped a bit in her usual nervousness. "Well… I would rather prefer staying inside… I don't think I'll be able to contribute anything if I were… up there."
Vernon merely shrugged and turned to the veteran. "Maybe you could do it?"
This, unsurprisingly, made Toxa glare daggers at the songwriter. "What did you just say?"
Julian smirked. "Actually, that's a great idea. Toxa, you can be on the top. We could use your aggressiveness to perfectly snatch those flags and defend our own in one piece."
The veteran rolled her eyes at her own team. "Once we lose, you guys will pay for all of this because Toxa says so."
Julian smacked his hand on his forehead. "For your information, if we lose in this challenge, we'll mostly lose it because of you. So I suggest you do whatever you can so we can end up at being in the top."
Vernon (Minor A): "Okay so mostly, the reason why I suggested that Toxa would be up there is because… I just don't like the vibes I'm getting from her. If she was down here with us, I mean, who knows what could happen?"
Gustav (Minor A): "Toxa better not blame me for this if I accidentally had her rolling off the car."
The camera finally heads over to the final team where they seemed to be getting along… sort of.
"You drive." Ryder said to Sara. "You look like someone who can maneuver the vehicle fast."
"Huh." Sara scoffed. "Just because I look like I can drive doesn't mean that I can drive, you know!"
Yves stood in between them. "Shhh! I have already decided who will be doing what. Ryder, you drive and Luciana, you'll be on top."
"Hey, I never said that I could be on top!" Luciana retorted.
"Well, no one was gonna volunteer anyway!" Yves shot back. "Besides we don't have much time to discuss further about this so it's best to give roles now rather than wait for the time to pass by!"
"If we lose, this is gonna be your fault." Sara groaned at the statement Yves had just said. "Because you know, you might as well have assigned people who CAN'T do these things. You're not even trying to be considerate."
"Well if you do know," Yves walked closer to the bad girl. "No one did say anything, right?"
Sara just sighed and walked a few meters away from her team.
Fabio, who had been waiting patiently this whole time, finally spoke up. "So… are we done?"
"Kinda." Ryder shrugged as he had no idea what was going on. He then turned to both Jeremy and Fabio. "Can any of you guys drive?"
Jeremy shook his head know while Fabio just gave the 'a little' hand gesture.
Ryder shrugged. "Well, I guess I'll just put you two as my navigators."
Jeremy nodded hesitantly, the musical nerd rubbing his arm in the process. "Sure, I guess we could try that."
Back with the hosts, they had just finish fixing the cars around when they heard a faint beep from someone's watch.
"Alright assholes, happy new year!" Misha called out to the teens who were still huddled up with their teams.
As soon as they heard the host, they turned their attention to them.
"So…" Blaineley cleared her throat, finally getting ready to speak after the pink haired hostess taking over about almost fifty percent of the hosts' lines. "Major A, you guys will be given the red car. For Major B, we'll hand you over the yellow one. And that will leave Minor A for the green and Minor B for the blue."
They all rushed up to their designated vehicles as in groups.
Brea gave each team a long rope and a flag.
"...What in Demi Lovato's name is this?" Irene asked the hosts as she held up the rope.
"That is what you call rope, for those who sit on the top so that they don't fall off the car and die." Brea explained to the opera singer. "And that's null points for you getting an artist in the conversation."
"Psh, I don't even like her!"
"Yeah, be quiet you wee little snout or you'll go home tonight with one eye closed." Misha threatened, to which Irene just responded by rolled her annoyed eyes.
Don looked at the cast. "So who did you guys pick for your driver and your flag defender?"
Blake took the initative to speak up for their team whilst Tess began to climb up the red car and tied herself up on the roof with the help of Abigail. "We have Tess as our defender and Drew is driving."
"Okay then, how about Major B?"
"I'm driving." Orlando raised a hand. "Bellona is… on the roof." He pointed towards the fiery female who huffed and stomped her way to the yellow car, with no one helping her tying up.
"Minor A?"
"We've got Gustav for driving and Toxa up on the roof as we have chosen them to take the lead for us in this challenge." Julian stated confidently.
"I thought you were leading, but okay." Marion said, simply shrugging off that thought away as she and her team got on their car.
"Minor B?"
"She's driving." Ryder pointed at Sara.
"What? I thought you were driving!" Sara retorted.
"Even I wasn't supposed to be on top, but you know what screw this." Luciana dismissed as she grabbed the rope and sauntered her way to the blue car.
Misha facepalmed. "Why is Minor B always the team that doesn't get along very well?"
"Because they're salty about being in the minority, thanks to you." Brea facepalmed.
As soon as everyone got into their cars, the five hosts all made their way to the center platform of the race track to get an overall view of the whole route. Blaineley also pressed a button on all of the spare car keys that she was holding to lock all the car doors so that none of the contestants would be able to get out.
Chef blinked, as he looked at the direction of the seats, to the direction of the railroad tracks inthe far distance. "This place feels so weird."
"I second that." Don added.
Once everything was set, the contestanfs drove their cars off to different parts of the area. Major A took the north while Major B took the south. Minor A stayed in the eastern area and Minor B stand by the west.
Blaineley grabbed her microphone to speak so that they could all hear their commentary from the speakers that were spread throughout the area. "Is everyone ready?"
"Hell no!" Bellona shouted as she tied her hair up so the breeze wouldn't blow her hair on her face to her disadvantage.
"GO!"
The cars began to drive off (with Bellona almost falling off their car in the process).
Major A (Currently at 1 flag)
As soon as he heard the word "Go," Drew stepped on the gas pedal so hard that even Tess was caught off guard (to which the girl was a tad too distracted by the sight of the race track). Luckily, she didn't face the same fate as Bellona did and held on just in time.
"Wait!" Tess breathed from above. "Can you try and slow down just a minute?"
"No can do, hot stuff." Drew called out from the driver's seat, much to the annoyance of the others with the pet name.
Abigail grabbed a bottle of water from the side compartment, and opened it up, spilling its contents on Drew to grab his attention. This caused him to stop into an abrupt halt as soon as his hair and shirt were soaked.
"Hey, what gives?"
"Listen Drew, let's… you know, NOT try and find the other teams. I think it's best that we hide on somewhere and strike if any of them found us." The prankster suggested.
"I agree, that sounds like a good plan. Besides, it's probably best to go defensive since Tess isn't really the offensive kind of player unlike some other girl like Bellona or something." Blake pointed out.
Drew groaned. "Ugh, fine. If it means to get your asses shut anyway… but next time, try tapping me on the shoulder instead of pouring water on me." he muttered, turning to the left side of the track. "Where should we go?"
Colin squinted his eyes to get a better view of the distance. He saw something, but didn't really care whether his teammates would listen to him or not. "I think I saw a cave over there."
"Where?" Therion asked, looking at the place where Colin was pointing at. There was indeed a small cave that pretty much looked like it was manmade judging by how it looks. "Oh, I see it! We could hide over there!"
Drew rolled his eyes as he drove over to the car where the two male veterans pointed out. It was about twice as tall as the car they were riding on, which gave some head room for Tess as to not hit her head on the ceiling in the process.
When they soon pulled their vehicle into a halt, Irene sighed.
"This is going to be so boring." She groaned.
Major B (Currently at 1 flag)
Orlando slowly and carefully drove the car over several hills at this rate, sadly not being able to find any team so far much to the team's disappointment. He seemed to be going in a much slower pace that is similar to a car just taking a stroll all over the neighborhood.
"I hate this challenge." Mag scoffed and crossed her arms. "Well then again, Misha hated almost every single challenge we had to do last season so I won't be surprised if I would have the same case over here."
"What kind of challenges you all had to do last time, if you don't mind me asking?" Bob asked as he looked out from his window in case a team car caught his eye.
"Oh trust me, you do not want to know any of it." Mag answered. "It could screw you up physically, mentally, and emotionally."
"Yeah, you know what, I'm actually more scared than excited now, thank you so much for that, Mag." Orlando said sarcastically, taking a left turn in hopes of finding another team.
"Yeah, good job on scaring off the newbies." Vanessa shrugged.
"It was just a warning, you know!" Mag sighed. "Like for goodness sake, you new guys wouldn't want to look forward for the next challenges."
"Oh, I will not look forward to them for sure." Edgar commented from the back side. "Because you know what, either way, I will still lose."
Vanessa sighed to herself. "Looks like we've got ourselves another Colin."
Gordoff shrugged at what everyone was thinking. "You want warnings? Then try not to mess with the hosts, maybe they wouldn't give too much harsh challenges compared to what you did last time. Besides, Chris isn't even here anymore."
Bellona scoffed obnoxiously from above the car. "You guys are having so much interesting conversations while here I am just talking to the thin air."
"Yeah, just try and shut your big mouth up there or you'll blow our cover and make the others chase us." Gordoff retaliated.
Suddenly, Orlando pulled the car in a sudden halt.
"What happened?" Edgar asked.
"Over there." Orlando pointed just below the hill they were on. "That looks like, Minor A's car." The party boy revealed, pointing at the green car that was just strolling along from below.
"Should we go?" Bob asked.
"Let's see…" Orlando rubbed his hannds vigorously (which only caused Edgar to grow nervous) and approached Minor A's car.
Minor A (Currently at 1 flag)
"Hmm…" Marion jutted her chin in thought, not knowing where to start. "Go in that left path."
"Over here?" Gustav asked. He steered the car on to the left pathway as the fashionista mentioned, seemingly not knowing where to go himself. "I feel like someone could see us and chase us down any second now."
It had been around five minutes and their team still found no one. Toxa was above on the roof, clutching tightly on their team flag with one hand, and the other above her eyes which made her look like a captain looking at something from afar. When she couldn't find anyone off to the distance, she sighed and laid on the car as it moved slowly.
"TOXA BOOOOOOORED." She groaned loudly. "The most boring challenge everrrrrr."
Crystal almost shuddered just by hearing Toxa's loud groan. "Is… is she okay?"
"Yes, she is okay. No need to mind about her, she is just bored from what I've heard." Julian answered her, not taking his eyes off from the road just like Marion and Gustav.
Vernon squinted his eyes to the back window behind them to get a view of something off to the distance. "Uhh, who's that?"
Crystal, who appears to be sitting next to him, looked back as well and gasped. "That… that looks like Bellona on top of that car over there!"
"Bello-huh!?" Julian shrieked out loud and turned to where the and looking and hissed. "Oh crap, Gustav! Step on it! Major B is right behind us!"
Marion stood up from her seat and knocked on the roof. "Hold on, Toxa!"
"What?" Toxa asked as she was still laying down on the roof. "Whoa!" She yelped as the car began to move and advance quickly.
"There you are, you toxic little shit!" Bellona shouted tauntingly getting ready to grab Toxa's flag but Gustav swerved their car to the left just in time before Bellona could reach her.
"I'm sorry!" Gustav shouted over to Major B.
Orlando, who was Major B's driver, raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Huh? Sorry for what?"
"NOW!" Julian shouted. "TOXA, GET READY!"
Gustav swerved the car to the right, hitting Major B's car from the left. Everyone in Minor A all braced themselves from the impact as Major B were completely surprised by the sudden attack. Even Orlando lost control of the steering wheel for a bit as most of them inside both cars screamed out.
At this point, Bellona took a leap of faith towards the veteran, landing on top of Minor A's car with a loud thud, tackling the veteran in the process.
"Give it to me!" yelled Bellona.
"No!" shouted Toxa, smacking Bellona with her flag and pushed her back on her team's car.
Gustav quickly hit the brakes, causing Minor A's car to stop abruptly, ignoring Major B as they kept pressing forward.
Julian facepalmed himself. "Toxa, you were supposed to grab her flag, not push her away!"
"We could've won." Marion joined in.
"Hey, it's Gustav's fault that the car was too shaky for me to focus!" Toxa defended herself.
"Well, just be glad you didn't fall off." Gustav muttered.
"It's not his fault!" Crystal added, not wanting anyone else to fight. "Please… just stop arguing!"
Everyone in the team heard Crystal's request and stayed quiet, while others started to think of a new plan.
Minor B (Currently at 1 flag)
"Wow, it's been like fifteen minutes and we still haven't found anyone." Luciana groaned, as she kept her eye out for anyone in the distance. "Should we like, stay somewhere until we find someone?"
"Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea." Jeremy sighed, trying to think of a plan himself. "Well… I guess we could just continue to move on and hopefully find someone?"
"You mean them?" Fabio said, pointing towards a red car just by the hills. "We could start with them. If I am not mistaken, that is probably Major A."
"Fabio's right. Maybe we could start with them." Yves nodded. "Maybe we could try ad get their flag or something."
Sara chuckled. "Haha, I like the sound of that. But you know what guys, you better buckle up." She warned them, getting her own seatbelt to buckle herself up.
"Wait, what are you gonna do-" Ryder gulped nervously as Sara reached for the gear shift and pulled it towards the D level.
"Alright, step on it!" She commanded.
Ryder rolled his eyes but complied anyway. The car started to move in an mediocre speed towards the said team.
Fabio sighed at the interaction between the two. "To be frank, you two have the worst dynamic in this team."
"Thank you very much Fabio, that was well much appreciated." Ryder muttered sarcastically as he started going faster. "Hey Luciana, I suggest you hold on up there!"
Luciana heard him and almost whined to herself in the process before holding the handle tightly along with her flag.
Major A (Currently at 1 flag)
Drew looked over at the window, whistling to himself as if it was nobody's business. It had been about a minute since they left the cave because according to Therion, they had been making zero progress on the challenge.
Drew accidentally hit the lever that activates the wind shield wiper, much to the annoyance of the others. "Yo, what kind of race car has a damn wind shield wiper?"
Blake facepalmed herself. "Nu blyat, for goodness sake Drew, just focus."
"Alright, babe! Yeesh!" He groaned, carefully driving forward.
Therion decided to join in. "At least we could look for the others than just stay in the cave and wait over nothing."
"I agree." Colin nodded, and looked over towards Drew's side mirror. "Huh…" he muttered to himself and look behind them, immediately seeing a blue car from the distance heading their way. "How long have they been there?"
"What?" Abigail asked him, looking towards where Colin was pointing at and laughed. "This is so funny, Colin literally looked out for everything in this challenge so far, what a scout."
Colin just simply ignored her statement. "That looks like Minor B."
"Minor B?" Tess asked from above, but was able to see which team was heading for them. "Oh wait, you guys! It is Minor B!"
"Uh hold on everyone!" Therion yelled as he held onto the handle just by his seat. "We're gonna have to take this the hard way!"
"Oh shit, buckle up!" Irene commanded everyone, to which they all complied and strapped themselves in. Tess did her best to tie herself on the roof so that she wouldn't fall off. "Move it, Drew!"
However, said person was being a doofus and was just whistling the hell away from him. He son got hit by a water bottle from Abigail, which caused him to immediately step hard into the gas pedal, making their car to advance even faster.
"Drew, step on it!" Abigail shouted from the backseat. "Faster!"
"Baby girl, I am doing my DAMN best here, you know!" Drew retorted as he stepped on the gas pedal as hard as he could go.
"Oh crap…" Therion squinted his eyes shut, getting a bad feeling that they would crash their car off the race track as they were completely on the edge at this point.
Irene widened her eyes and stood up from the passenger's seat, trying to get part of the roof compartment open to see how Tess was doing above the car. However, from her position her back was facing towards Drew, thus blocking a part of his front view.
"YO, AS MUCH AS I LOVE THE FACT THAT YOUR ASS IS RIGHT UP ON MY FACE, I SUGGEST YOU SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW OR WE'RE GOING TO CRASH AND SEND TESS FLYING INTO THE AIR!" Drew yelled to the opera singer who was still standing in her seat.
"Shut up! I can't get this thing open!" Irene shouted back.
"Of course you can't because the lever to open up the roof compartment is right here, you know!" Drew shot back up. "Now do me a favor and stop giving my face an ass attack!"
"We're gonna crash into a tree!" Blake shrieked from behind, right next to Abigail.
"What!?" Drew asked, as he couldn't hear due to the… situation that was going on with him.
"Oh great, we are going to crash and die in the most idiotic way possible, that is just freaking fantastic." Colin groaned.
Right before they could crash into a tree that was off the course, Blake grabbed the shift lever and pulled it backwards until the lever had hit the S level. Because of this, Drew had an even harder time maneuvering the vehicle and swerved the car into the far right, barely saving themselves from crashing into the poor tree.
"BLAKE, WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE LEVER THINGY!?" Abigail yelled.
"AHHHH!" Tess was heard almost screaming from above. A few thuds were heard as they all assumed that she nearly tumbled off the car.
"Oh uh…" Ryder scratched his head as he and the rest of Minor B looked at Major A who were about several meters away. They were really far from them, but they could see the gist of what was happening. "I think someone just fell."
Sara sighed. "Well… change of plans?"
Fabio leaned over to the car door, no longer keen about the challenge. "Whatever plan you all have in mind."
"Got it. Ryder, drive back." Sara commanded. Ryder obliged as he drove the car onto a different direction.
Jeremy scratched his head in thought. "Uh, I don't know about that, wouldn't that be kind of rude to, you know, just let them be when we could easily help them?"
Luciana could hear him and rolled her eyes. "We'll probably scare them off if we did so. Plus we're too far away, I kinda doubt that they could see us from over there."
The musical nerd sighed in disappointment. "Okay, whatever you guys say, I guess."
Center Podium
The hosts looked at Major A's case from afar.
"Misha, I hate to say this…" Brea sighed in disappointment. "But THIS IS THE WORSE CHALLENGE THAT YOU'VE EVER CAME UP WITH and you're barely a week here as a host!"
"Bitch, that race track looked dope as fuck! I mean, how could I resist that!?" Misha opposed.
Brea facepalmed herself. "You know what, Misha? Sometimes I wonder why on earth did I chose you as host, and not someone like Alec or ELV, or hell even I could've promoted Hali from mentor to host, but nope, I just had to consider you instead."
"Aww, you did? " Misha laughed. "Thanks a bunch, bitch. This asshole really appreciates the shit."
"I… that was supposed to come off as sarcastic, but whatever." Brea sighed. "Congratu-fucking-lations."
"Thank you."
Brea facepalmed. "You weren't even supposed to say thank you-"
"Let's just continue, shall we?" Don groaned, much to his annnoyance of the dynamic of the pair.
Minor A (Currently at 1 flag)
"Wait, who's that?" Marion asked her teammates as they could see a car not too far away from them. "That kinda looks like Major B's car."
"I think I can see Major A just over there as well." Crystal meekly spoke up.
"Yeah about that…" Vernon scratched his head. "I hink I just saw Minor B backing up over there."
Julian widened his eyes as he put two and two together. "Wait so does this mean… hold on a second, don't tell me that we are right on the middle of the race track."
"Seems like that's the case." Marion nodded. "So, who should we go for? Round them all up at once?"
"No way Marion, we have to go for only one team because we are, you know, EXPOSED to all the other teams!" Julian opposed.
"Uh, why don't we go for Major B? There the closest-" Gustav suggested.
"Okay, sounds like a plan." Julian frantically stated. "Marion, tell him which way to go."
Gustav began to advance the vehicle faster at this point in case they would be able to catch up to said team in time.
"Left!" Marion commanded from the passenger's seat as the German boy swiftly drove to the left side of the race track.
"Uh, no right!" Marion shouted again, seemingly lost with where they are right now.
"Wait, I'm confused!" Gustav declared in slight frustration, hitting the car horn in the middle of the steering wheel in the process.
BEEEEEEEP!
"Augh!" Toxa shrieked and jumped in shock from above the car, holding onto the sides for dear life.
"Hold on… WAIT, OVER THERE! GO GO GO NOW!" Marion ordered again, with this time, Gustav quickly stepped the gas pedal as hard as he could, causing them to suddenly advance forward in an unusually intense speed.
"Maybe you would want to slow down for a bit!" Julian protested, standing from his and repeatedly tapping Gustav's shoulder in the process. However, something from the right side caught his eyes; it was something… colorful and hairy, falling from above, and onto the air to god knows where. "Was that a wig?"
"A... wig?" Crystal asked in disbelief. She opened the window and tried to look up on the car roof but widened her eyes. "Oh! ...Oh-"
"AAAAHHHHHHH, YOU BITCHES! SLOW THIS CAR DOWN RIGHT NOW AND GET MY WIG THAT FELL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN RACE TRACK OR ELSE I'M SENDING YOU ALL TO JAIL!" Toxa shouted right above Crystal, in which she squeaked and moved away.
"Um…" Crystal shuddered. "Toxa is bald?"
"Hahahaha, Toxa is bald, wait TOXA IS BALD!?" Marion widened her eyes, not believing what Crystal just said.
"Did someone just said Toxa was bald?" Gustav asked and pulled the car into an abrupt halt, much to Julian's dismay.
Julian rolled his eyes in pure frustration. "TOXA IS BALD THIS, TOXA IS BALD THAT, LOOK WHERE 'TOXA IS BALD' GOT US INTO! WE LOST THEM!"
Toxa suddenly hang herself upside down by the window so that she could see them. "YES, TOXA IS BALD, NOW SHUT UP!" She retorted, leaped out of the car and ran back to find and get back her wig.
"She… what… bald… huh?" Vernon asked himself, confused of what just happened. At this point, their car wasn't even moving anymore due to the… dilemma that they had to face.
Major B
In Major B's car, Orlando was driving their car pretty slowly and smoothly.
"UGH, CAN WE GO FASTER!?" Bellona yelled, standing up and pounding on the car roof from above. "EVERYONE AROUND US IS LIKE, GOING AS FAST AS CHEETAHS AND WE'RE LITERALLY SLOWER THAN A SNAIL!"
"We'll go faster once you calm the hell down up there because if we do, you're gonna fall off and no one here wants that!" Gordoff retaliated as he rolled his eyes in the process, having enough of Bellona's complaints.
"Yeah, slow and steady wins the race you know!" Orlando defended, attempting to add fuel into the fire, metaphorically.
"WELL, SLOW AND STEADY DOES NOT WIN FOR MY ASS SO FOR FUCK'S SAKE JUST STEP ON IT, GODDAMMIT!" Bellona continued to complain.
"Okay! Okay! Here we go, buckle up! Yeesh!" Orlando replied, incredibly annoyed at Bellona at this point. Bob, Edgar, Mag, Gordoff, and Vanessa all strapped themselves in their seats.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god…" Vanessa began to hyperventilate like how she usually does when she's panicking.
"Do you remember that Mag said that she is going to hate every single challenge in this season? Well I think, she is right!" Bob exclaimed as he buckled himself up and clutched his head.
"Yeah, but at least this isn't close to what we had to do last season! Well, maybe almost!" Mag commented.
Orlando then began to step on the gas pedal as the car suddenly went faster. Bellona gripped on the roof so hard and looked back, only to widen her eyes in horror.
"OH FUCK, HURRY THE HELL UP, ORLANDO! MINOR A IS GAINING ON US!" She shrieked as she could see a green car just about a few yards away from them.
"I'm just gonna pray and hope that we would still be alive because I think we are going to die…" Edgar gulped for what was about to happened and squinted his eyes shut, praying over and over again.
Suddenly, a wig flew just right on the front window, causing everyone to shriek and the car to stop abruptly.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Everyone screamed.
"OH MY GOOOOOOOD!" Vanessa shrieked right out of her mind.
Everyone stopped right after their scream-fest to regain their breath and composure as Edgar looked back to see if Minor A was still following them. They were not and probably got lost, much to his relief.
"At least my prayers were answered pretty quickly." Edgar meekly whispered to himself and let out a slight chuckle.
As they were still there, parked in the middle of nowhere, something caught Orlando's attention. He squinted his eyes to see things clearly as he could've sworn he just saw someone fell out of a car. "Oh my god, Tess!" He gasped and widened his eyes and tried to open the car door, but it was locked. So instead, he opened his window, leaped out from it, and rushed towards Major A who all looked at their defender with worry.
The party came over and helped the artist up. "You okay?"
"Yeah… no… kind of-" Tess groaned as she clutched her head in pain. "Ugh, driver stupid-"
"What?" Orlando raised an eyebrow, confused at what she had just said. "Should I call the medic or the hosts-"
Before he could continue any further, he never realized that someone was walking up from behind him. It was Bellona, and she quickly snatched the flag away from Tess.
"HAHA!" Bellona cheered in victory as she went back to her team's car.
"And Major B is the first team to get two flags!" Blaineley announced from the intercom. "Major A, you're disqualified from the challenge as you have no more flags left."
"What." Irene angrily stated, as Blake went out of the car to help Tess get back in.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked Tess, who was still clutching her head.
"I think."
Before the two girls could go back into the car, Blake flashed a glare at Orlando. "That wasn't a cool trick, you know!"
"But I was just helping!" Orlando defended himself, but was dragged back into the car by Bellona.
"Shut up, we won, so there's that!" She yelled.
At this point, both Major teams drove their cars back to the center podium where the hosts were at.
Minor B (Currently at 1 flag)
"How about Minor A over there? I mean, they're clearly not even moving." Fabio suggested as he pointed over to the stationary green race car that stayed just between the hills and the railroad tracks.
"Alright let's go." Ryder said, stepping on the gas pedal ever so cautiously, keeping an eye on the green car unless they move somewhere else.
"HOLY SHIT, RYDER WATCH OUT!" Sara shouted, as Ryder immediately stepped on the breaks. Everyone all looked at shock and confusion about what… or who was in front of the car since they were about to hit them.
It was Toxa. And she didn't have any hair on her head.
Ryder began to laugh as soon as he saw the girl approaching them, remembering that sweet karma she got last season that caused her hair to go into that state. He rolled down his window as Toxa smacked their car.
"Where is my wig!?" She roared.
Sara rolled down her own window. "Hey, listen up! We have no idea where on earth is your damn wig so I suggest you shoo!"
While Toxa was busy bickering, she didn't noticed someone walked behind her. Turning back, that person was already gone. Either way, she just flashed up both of her middle fingers to the team before sauntering off.
Minor B all sighed in relief as she was now gone. "Should we go for Minor A now?" Yves asked both Ryder and Sara who are still seated up front.
"How do we get there, then?" Fabio asked both of them as well.
Ryder pulled the gear shift onto Drive again and stepped on the gas pedal.
"This looks like a bad idea-" Jeremy shuddered as he hid his own head using his arms.
"Oh shoot, watch where you're going!" Sara yelled towards Ryder and grabbed the steering wheel.
"What gives!?"
"You were about to crash into a tree!"
"Give me that wheel!"
"What's going on down there!? Whoa!" Luciana yelped, almost falling off the car. Luckily, she was still tied onto the roof so that she didn't slip off easily.
Both Sara and Ryder struggled to maneuver the wheel at this point, much to the annoyance of Fabio, causing Yves and Jeremy to become distraught. Instead of heading straight towards Minor A, they both had Minor B taking a really fast U-turn at the edge of the race track, and thanks to Ryder's… poor driving skills, the trunk of the car hit the orange cone in the center, sending it into the air. The U-turn had failed so badly so instead of turning a 180, they scraped the road sideways all the way until they stopped in the middle of the railroad tracks.
"Step on the gas pedal! We have to get out here, you know!" Sara commanded, until she noticed the fuel meter going low. "Oh, wait… we're out of fuel."
Ryder slammed his hands on the steering wheel. "See? I told you that you should've drive instead! But you didn't!"
"Because I can only drive people crazy, you walker!" Sara retorted and crossed her arms, coming up with an insult towards the veteran but never realized that that was his last name anyway.
"Hello?" Fabio called out to them but the two kept on bickering anyway.
"So what do you suggest I do!?"
"Go find some fuel or something!"
"Hey!" Fabio shouted again but to no avail.
"You know what, just shut up!"
"You shut up too!"
Fabio cleared his throat, getting ready to do something he never thought he would do: throw a loud fit at them. "PEOPLE! FOR YOUR INFORMATION, LOOK INTO YOUR RIGHT! WHAT DO YOU SEE!?"
The team all looked into their right. Since the sun was so high up and it was too bright to see, they were unable to see things, but as it moved closer, they widened their eyes.
"GUYS, THERE'S A TRAIN COMING! AREN'T YOU ALL GONNA MOVE!?" Luciana frantically panicked from the top of the car, repeatedly knocking on the car roof.
"We're out of gas so just… sit there or something!" Sara called out to her, having trouble coming up with a solution.
"What do you mean just sit there!?" Luciana asked.
"Oh, fuck me gently with a chainsaw…" Jeremy swore under his breath, closed his eyes shut and covered his ears to get ready for the worst.
"Oh my god, we're stuck in the middle of the railroad and we're all gonna die and it's all thanks to Sara and her crazy 'driving' skills!" Ryder whined, quoting the word driving in the process. "If only the hosts never locked us up on these cars, then we would've ran away by now!"
The train kept on getting closer and closer towards them. Its horns started blaring on the process, signalling them to get out of there.
Yves began to tear up. "Well, if this is the end… it was nice working with you guys even though we're barely a day together…"
The train was now only about a feet away from them.
Everyone screamed.
"AHHHHHHH! FUCK ME GENTLY WITH A CHAINSAAAAAAAAAAW!" Jeremy screamed the loudest of them all, although he couldn't hear himself as he was covering his ears.
All they could hear was the loud horns of the train for a few seconds until…
…
Fabio opened his eyes. "Is this heaven?"
"No, we're still alive. You guys are bogus." Sara huffed as she crossed her arms.
"Wait, so… we're not dead?" Yves asked, as she wiped her tear-stained face.
Ryder stifled up his laughter. "Hoo boy, we really got clowned there. Turns out, the train was on the other railroad track."
"Wait… seriously!?" Luciana opened her eyes as she called out from above.
Jeremy buried his face on his hands. "Oh god… that was so embarassing…"
"What do you mean?" Fabio asked.
"N-nothing… you guys didn't hear a thing!"
"I could've sworn I heard something from you, though." Fabio narrowed his eyes.
"Uh… well… I could've sworn that I never said anything!"
Minor A (Currently at ? flags)
"When is she coming back?" Gustav groaned as everyone else waited with him. "She was gone for like an hour now!"
Marion facepalmed. "Relax, Gustav. You're just overracting. She was only gone for ten minutes."
Crystal shrugged. "Well… still though, it already feels like an hour."
"Hey, I think I see her." Vernon pointed towards the window.
Toxa had just arrived indeed, this time, with her hair (or rather, wig) intact.
"About damn time." Julian sneered at the veteran. "Please tell me you have a flag too."
Toxa widened her eyes as Julian mentioned the flg. She fumbled around her pockets, only to realize that not only she did not get someone else's flag, but their own team flag was missing too.
"What the fuck- where is it!?" Toxa shrieked.
"You lost it?" Julian almost began to fume, but the intercom interrupted him.
"Attention, maggots!" Chef's voice rang. "Minor B has taken the second win for the challenge! Everyone, please return to the center podium with your cars. And Minor B, you will be towed in just a moment."
"Great job." Julian facepalmed as everyone in Minor A sent a glare to Toxa, while she sent a glare over at Gustav's direction.
Center Podium
As everyone made their way back tot he center podium (with Minor B having to tow their car to their destination), Blaineley had finally unlocked all thw car doors as everyone exited, allowing themselves to take and breathe in the fresh air around them.
"So," Misha began, clearing her throat in the proces. "That was, quite a fucking challenge for you guys."
Most of the contestants either groaned, whined, or just plain did nothing.
"But either way," Blaineley took the wheel this time. "Both Major B and Minor B won the advantage for the next challenge!"
Modt of the contestants were surprised at this, save for the veterans.
"No elimination?" Gordoff asked.
"Also, we only won a freaking advantage to the next challenge!?" Luciana whined. "After all my hard work snatching Toxa's flag up?"
Hearing this, Julian could only roll his eyes at te said veteran.
"Yeah, I should probably tell you guys that we'll be only doing eliminations and switches if we do a performance based challenge." Brea chuckled sheepishly. "Anyway, with that being said, get back on the bus because our renting time here is up."
Everyone complied, some disappointed or proud with others as they head back.
Lobby
At this rate, the hosts were now filming the outro.
"Gosh Misha, that was the most bizarre challenge in the whole series." Blaineley facepalmed.
"Yeah." Misha scoffed. "But anyway, what will happen to our cast?"
"Will the alliances work out?" Don added.
"How about some possibly forming relationships?" Chef asked.
"All of this will be answered in the future episodes of…" Brea cued everyone to say out loud the title:
"Total Drama Act III: Into The Centerstage!"
