Transformers Prime: No Autobots Are Idiots.

Chapter 26: Darkness Rising Part 3.

(Transformers Prime Universe #192,394,596,203,495,867,019,183, Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, third person POV...)

Optimus Prime begins the recap, "Previously on Transformers Prime..."

In the Autobot base, Smokeedge says, "A-hem! Need I remind you that it's ultimately Optimus' call or my call as Lieutenant Commander to decide whether or not you can come and go outside of missions, and that it's ultimately Jack's call if he wants out? Miko, I'm gonna say this only once: this interplanetary civil war is not fun and games, and it's not something to enjoy getting adrenaline rushes of or something to enjoy taking part in. After all, how do you think you'd react as an old woman telling such war stories of your own experience to young kids and one of them is just like you at your current age, but to a more extreme degree with a criminal record?"

In the Energon mine, Megatron says, "Gaze upon... Dark Energon."

Starscream remarks as footage of Megatron resurrecting Ragebird with the Dark Energon shard plays, "Legend tells that it holds the power to... revive the dead as cannibalistic zombies called Terrorcons."

In the Autobot base, Ratchet says, "Ragebird's life signal has just popped back online!"

In the Energon mine, as Terrorcon Ragebird roars at Megatron and charges before the footage switches to the firefight, Optimus says, "Let's find Ragebird. Smokeedge, I want you along with our Targetmasters and your troops to reprogram as many Decepticon Miners as you can. The rest of us will provide covering fire."

As the Decepticon Miners shoot at the platform, Ratchet in the base gasps in shock as he says with dread, "Oh, no. Dark Energon."

Unbeknownst to Ratchet, a splotch of Dark Energon infected one of his replicas of the same tool Bulkhead broke in the original timeline, and the tool replica comes to life as a Transformers Prime Terrorcon replica of Scalpel.

Megatron rips out a small sliver of the Dark Energon and raises it above his head.

Duskblade exclaims, "Master, what do you think you're doing?!"

Starscream protests, "Wait! Lord Megatron, no! Not your spark chamber! You do not know what it will do to you!"

But their protests fall on deaf audio receptors as Megatron shoves the shard into his spark chamber.

As purple smoke envelops his chestplate, Megatron shudders loudly as he convulses while his spark accepts and fights the influence of the Dark Energon.

Then, his optics turn purple and he screams in pain.

(End of recap.)

At Dylan Darby's residence, Saberfist asks as Dylan gets himself ready after having had his breakfast in accordance with his military style strict healthy diet, "You ready, Dylan?"

Dylan replies, "Yeah, hold on a nanosecond."

Dylan packs his one battle rifle, his two combat pistols, his three machine guns, his four shotguns, his five revolvers, his six assault rifles, his seven submachine guns, his eight sniper rifles, his nine carbine rifles, his ten designated marksman rifles, his eleven multiple-barreled firearms, and his twelve anti-tank rifles along with his bulletproof battlesuit and along with his cases of grenades.

Saberfist asks in concern, "What's with all the weapons, Dylan?"

Dylan answers, "Preparing for if in the event Miko decides to sneak off through the Ground Bridge without permission and without putting on her Iron Man suit."

Dylan mounts Saberfist and they ride off to a stop sign in the desert.

Then, Jack, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Rockskipper, Tailgate, Taildog, Shadeskulker, Platinum, and Meltcircuit come up.

Tailgate asks, "Hey, guys. What's up?"

Dylan answers, "Just got up, had breakfast, and now I'm bored."

Tailgate asks, "Wanna have a little race? Next one to the mile marker wins."

Arcee chuckles evilly as she remarks, "You boys and girls are going down."

Dylan cackles like a crazed maniac, unnerving Jack.

Once the signal was given, the Autobots were neck and neck, and then, Saberfist deploys three turbo boosters from his rear side, accelerating faster and faster as the boosters ignite, and he along with Dylan said in unison over the noise, "See you tomorrow!" "See you tomorrow!"

Dylan shrieks, "WHOOOOOOOO-HOO-HOO-HOO! WHOOOOOOO! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Saberfist couldn't help but chuckle at how somewhat girlish Dylan was sounding right now.

At the mile marker, Saberfist gradually slows to a stop.

Dylan starts shuddering at the sudden burst of acceleration and the slowing stop.

Saberfist asks in concern, "You alright, dude?"

Dylan replies, "Yeah, but I feel like my entire body might vibrate and shatter like glass. I don't ever want to do that again."

Saberfist replies, "Duly noted, Dylan."

Then the other Autobots turned up.

Arcee groans, "Ough. You just had to be a show-off, Saber."

Rockskipper asks, "What was that, Saber? I don't remember seeing that back on Cybertron."

Saberfist answers, "That's an upgrade I had installed before I left Cybertron 25 years ago, although you're most likely not gonna see Dylan riding me the next times I use it."

Jack looks over Dylan in concern and replies, "If Dylan is this affected, I'd rather stay as safe as Arcee can ensure I am."

Everyone chuckles at that.

Shadeskulker then comes up with Platinum and Meltcircuit from the opposite side of the road, also apparently finishing a small race.

Shadeskulker remarks, "Whoo! Outstanding! Mwa hahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

Arcee remarks, "All right, child, calm yourself."

Shadeskulker then says, "Hey, I find that offensive; in my Cybertronian form in accordance with the timeline, I'm two hundred stellar cycles older than you."

Jack then asks, "How is it possible that those like you guys and Ratchet are so old and yet able to fight like if you were twenty years old?"

Platinum answers, "We Cybertronians have longer life spans than even biblical humans, spanning thousands to millions of years. And as difficult as it can be to believe, even Cybertronians have adults acting like children."

Meltcircuit then adds, "But like Alfred Pennyworth from Batman Begins once said, '"Once you start pretending to have fun, you may have a little real fun by accident."' Therefore, even Cybertronians in war time need to have fun to relieve stress and to ensure that they don't become hot-tempered all the time or something similar."

Meanwhile, at the edge of a cliff, Miko in her Nitrosmine armor resembling a mixture of Iron Monger and War Machine Marks I through VI is testing out her Energon and metal bullet fueled firearms.

Bulkhead then says, "Okay, Miko, see if you can score 100,000,000 points by hitting those golden center circles."

Miko aims her machine guns and her minigun at the center circles and she opens fire on them, and she keeps her aim consistent even as the circles flip around and move in other directions.

Bulkhead remarks, "Wow. That was incredible."

Miko replies, "Tell me about it."

Miko reloads her weapons and deactivates her suit before climbing into Bulkhead's vehicle mode.

Meanwhile, Rafael and Bumblebee are playing a car racing game on Bumblebee's GPS monitor.

Rafael gives it his all, but Bumblebee manages to pull up into the lead for the win.

Rafael says, "Aw!"

Bumblebee buzzes, "Whoo-hoo! I win!"

Rafael says, "Hahaha! No fair, Bumblebee. You've been driving a lot longer than I have."

Later, Bumblebee, Rafael, Bulkhead, and Miko meet up with the others.

Bulkhead asks, "Hey. What's up, guys?"

Shadeskulker answers, "Not much, aside from making my cousins eat my dust and aside from Saber revealing a triple turbo boost upgrade he had installed 25 years ago."

Miko remarks, "Whoa! A triple turbo boost upgrade?! From 25 years ago?!"

Saberfist replies, "Got that right, girl; although, I'd highly recommend you don't ride me when I'm using it, as your body might feel like it's gonna shatter like glass afterwards."

Miko cringes as she replies, "Got it, and I'm sorry for the way I've been behaving; it's just, my life back in Tokyo was boring and my life in Jasper was also bland. I'd always wanted to be a rock and roll guitarist, and I feel like I have to put that on hold until the Decepticons are defeated permanently."

Shadeskulker replies, "Ah, that's nothing to be ashamed of, Miko, but remember, even civilians recruited into the United States military need to show some respect even if they aren't given respect first."

Cliffjumper then says, "And then, Arcee had the nerve to call Shades a child. I can't believe it."

Bumblebee buzzes, "I can."

Shadeskulker manifests her holoform similar to her human form and she asks with a raised eyebrow, "And why do you believe that, if you don't mind me asking?"

Bumblebee buzzes, "Oh, I don't mind the question. I'm just saying, Cliff always acts like a child, and you might as well have been a child since you used to be a young human femme."

Shadeskulker replies, "Really? And how old am I compared to you in Cybertronian years?"

Bumblebee thinks for a moment before answering, "About thirty-six stellar cycles younger than me, if I remember correctly."

Shadeskulker replies, "Okay, fair enough. But just so you know, there's different ways to have fun even without acting like a child in the process, such as playing board games or playing card games."

Bumblebee replies, "Yes, I'm familiar with those."

Soon, the Autobots rendezvous with their allies and they drive and fly back to base.

In the Autobot base, Ratchet remarks while getting to work, "Thank goodness for peace and quiet. House guests can be such a bother."

Suddenly, a distant pipe banging is heard, and Ratchet asks as he looks at the Ground Bridge, "What?"

Seeing nothing, he goes back to work.

But then, Smokeedge says, "Aha! Gotcha!"

Ratchet says as he turns around before exclaiming in horror, "Smokeedge? (Gasp) By the Allspark!"

Smokeedge holds the Terrorcon Scalpel in place and stomps it until it starts sparking and leaking Dark Energon, completely deactivated.

Ratchet asks, "What could've caused that?"

Smokeedge answers, "A small blotch of Dark Energon spilled onto it from your petri dish. You weren't as careful as you used to be this time around."

On the Nemesis, Megatron ex-vents deeply as the last of his physical pain subsides, displaying that he was indeed as tough as he looks.

Shockwave then asks, "Lord Megatron, how do you feel?"

Megatron answers, "It's as if the Blood of Unicron the Destroyer flows through my veins, as if I can hear his very thoughts."

Megatron plucks another Dark Energon sliver and says, "Now I know what I must do."

Megatron turns around and Flashblaze inquires, "What are your orders, my lord?"

Starscream adds, "Yes, what can we do to assist you, master?"

Megatron answers, "Quit groveling, Starscream, and await my command. I will return in the next five groons. Until then, Shockwave, Flashblaze, Soundwave, Duskblade, Ahellona, Mayssa, Clangsound, Kojiro Mercurmodic, Brashfire, Bladewire, Binderbar, Rubyshift, Wearlive, Rapidstep, Phantasm, Writher, Broadbloom, Hornbeam, Airica, Spotmoon, Tarrachen, Igniphantom, Blendwind, Shortcharge, Glowwing, Glimmerheart, Utterances, Mistpunk, Blacksword, Inkstorm, Jetsquall, Dimstorm, Shadowystorm, Gloomstorm, Blackstorm, Shadysquall, Shadesquall, Leadenstorm, Unlitstorm, Hubbreaker, Centerbreaker, Corebreaker, Edgebreaker, Bosombreaker, Rootbreaker, Focusbreaker, Gistbreaker, Marrowbreaker, Pitbreaker, Demiseclaw, Endclaw, Expireclaw, Murderclaw, Killclaw, Drownclaw, Executeclaw, Poisonbreaker, Lynchclaw, and Crucifyclaw are in charge alongside you."

Megatron makes his way to the Nemesis' flight deck.

Megatron transforms to his Cybertronian jet mode and flies off.

Starscream watches this from the monitors.

Shockwave, Flashblaze, Soundwave, Duskblade, Ahellona, Mayssa, Clangsound, Kojiro Mercurmodic, Brashfire, Bladewire, Binderbar, Rubyshift, Wearlive, Rapidstep, Phantasm, Writher, Broadbloom, Hornbeam, Airica, Spotmoon, Tarrachen, Igniphantom, Blendwind, Shortcharge, Glowwing, Glimmerheart, Utterances, Mistpunk, Blacksword, Inkstorm, Jetsquall, Dimstorm, Shadowystorm, Gloomstorm, Blackstorm, Shadysquall, Shadesquall, Leadenstorm, Unlitstorm, Hubbreaker, Centerbreaker, Corebreaker, Edgebreaker, Bosombreaker, Rootbreaker, Focusbreaker, Gistbreaker, Marrowbreaker, Pitbreaker, Demiseclaw, Endclaw, Expireclaw, Murderclaw, Killclaw, Drownclaw, Executeclaw, Poisonbreaker, Lynchclaw, and Crucifyclaw came up behind Starscream.

Starscream then says, "Ah, everyone. I fear that when Lord Megatron reached for the stars, he came down with a touch of... space madness, I believe it is called."

Duskblade asks, "Can you please clarify what you mean?"

Starscream answers before saying to Soundwave, "It's simple; our master has not been of sound judgement since his return and since he infused himself with that Dark Energon shard. Soundwave, increase global surveillance."

Soundwave's response is playing back a recording of Megatron saying, "(Filtered; with Soundwave's voice) Quit groveling, Starscream, and await my command."

Starscream replies, "I'm not deaf! But if Optimus Prime lives, I believe it is in our master's best interests that we assure of his enemy's destruction."

Shockwave points out, "Illogical. Lord Megatron made it specifically clear centuries ago that only he is allowed to destroy Optimus Prime, no exceptions, not even his children, especially after Skyquake's failure to destroy Optimus at the Battle of Technahar."

Blacksword replies, "I agree, and whenever Lord Megatron is not around, either our Generals or I am in charge along with Soundwave, Shockwave, and Clangsound, no exceptions either."

Starscream frowns at this.

In the Autobot base, Optimus says, "If the residue Arcee found on Ragebird brought your broken equipment back to life, it would stand to reason that this Dark Energon was indeed used to bring Ragebird back from the dead as a cannibalistic zombie."

Ratchet then says, "It would explain his life signal unexpectedly coming back online, but Dark Energon? It's so scarce as to be virtually non-existent."

Smokeedge then points out, "We encountered the artificial variant during the final days of the War for Cybertron, but it was still Dark Energon all the same."

Ratchet then asks, "But what would it be doing here on Earth if Megatron brought it here?"

Optimus answers, "Like our intel said, Megatron intends to conquer this world by raising an army of the undead."

Smokeedge then says, "And there's a new wrinkle: our spies said that Megatron has ordered for them to clone a new army of Predacon clones using the fossils of old Predacon clones Shockwave sent to Earth to terrorize any Autobot forces stationed here and to unearth Energon for Megatron."

Optimus then says, "With Shockwave and Flashblaze in his ranks, Megatron is really, as the humans put it, pulling out all the stops for a final decisive victory."

Ratchet then inquires, "Well, with the Terrorcons, Megatron will definitely need to break quite a few toaster ovens. I mean, where on this world would he find that many dead Cybertronians?"

Smokeedge then says, "Optimus and I believe it's literally in the Grand Canyon, more specifically, a dark, foggy sector where there are no humans or roads."

Ratchet asks, "You don't mean...?"

Smokeedge answers, "I do."

Just then, the human children, their relatives, and their Autobot guardians returned.

Among them, Jack, Rafael, and Miko remark one after the other, "That was awesome!" "Can we go again?" "Sahweet!"

Just then, a clanging noise is heard in Bulkhead's chest cavity.

Bulkhead says, "Um..." as he pulls out Miko's electric guitar.

Miko says sheepishly as she takes it, "Sorry, must've left that in the backseat."

Smokeedge then asks jokingly, "What are ya gonna do, shred some metal, wood, and glass?"

Everyone except for Optimus laughs at that joke, and Miko blushes in anger at the joke and the amount of people laughing.

Smokeedge then says, "Anyway! Autobots, we'll need you to remain here while Optimus, Saberfist, Ratchet, Balto, Adon, Helius, Gator, Kunta, Gemstone, Zeeva, Milita, Lulu, Daenerys, Clank, Chritopher, Kenwyn, Gadget, Rikku, Fang, Cloud, Racktooth, Pingear, Fangwheel, Cogtine, and I investigate a lead in the Grand Canyon. Jazz, Ironhide, Elita One, Arcee, Springer, Impactor, Red Alert, Uniform, Romeo, Oscar, Whiskey, Kilo, India, Accordion, Akiba, Alchemist, Alpha Trion, Amalgamous, Amazon, Dimicron, Electrawing, Epistemus, Fire Prime, Fukutsu, G3, Ginza, Grimshaft, Guardian, Hakata, Hiroshima, Ikebukuro, Ishinomaki, Itami, Juliett, Kawasaki, Leo, Magnus, Megatronus, Melinda, Micronus, Mito, Modus, Mortilus, Nagoya, Nanba, Nexus, Nightimus, Nominus, Nova, Onyx, Overturner, Powervision, Prima, Primal, Prime Nova, Primon, Quebec, Quintus, Safety, Saitama, Sapporo Chūō, Sapporo, Sendai, Sentinel Alnair, Septimus, Solomus, Solus, Tachikawa, Takasaki, Umeda, Valorous, Vector, VX, Weirdmagic, Whitebright, Yellowheart, Zeta, and Zulu, we'll be outside of communications range for an undetermined period of time, so I'm placing all of you and every other Autobot lieutenant in charge of running things here."

Miko then says, "Dude, you're biggest; you should be the boss."

Dylan points out, "Miko, Smokeedge placed them in charge because they're Autobot lieutenants placed in charge when he and Optimus or Ratchet or Saberfist are absent or otherwise incapacitated. Besides, Smokeedge said that the last time Bulkhead was put in charge, he almost totaled the place."

Bulkhead blushes in embarrassment as Miko replies, "Oh. Now I get it."

Arcee then says, "Smokeedge, with all due respect, playing bodyguard is one thing, and babysitting's another. (Jack sighs at this) Besides, Ratchet hasn't been in the field since the Great War."

Ratchet says snappishly, "My pistons may be rusty, but my hearing is sharp as ever!"

Steelwolf then says, "He's not that old. Just because he's older than most of us doesn't make him senile or decrepit."

Ratchet then says, "Thank you! I'm glad somebody doesn't see me as old."

Smokeedge then says, "For the time being, it's only reconnaissance, Arcee."

Arcee asks, "And why do I hear a twinge in your voice?"

Smokeedge says sternly, "Arcee, much has changed in the last 24 hours, and we need to get with the times."

Optimus then says, "Ratchet, bridge us out."

Ratchet activates the Ground Bridge with the coordinates set for the Grand Canyon.

The twenty-five Autobots walk through the portal and the Ground Bridge powers down.

Jack then asks, "So, chiefs, what's on the activities list?"

Vector Prime answers, "I strongly recommend that you head into the SAFE for training. After that, you will be given a selection of 2010s films to watch."

Arcee then says, "While you do that, I'm going on patrol."

Jumpbee locks down the entrance and the Ground Bridge, and he says, "Nuh-unh-unh, not so fast. If you don't want to '"babysit,"' Smokeedge will have no choice but to punish you severely."

Arcee replies, "Really? And what kind of punishment will he give me this time?"

Jumpbee answers, "A two hour tickle torture."

Arcee's optics widened in shock and horror, and this let even Jack know Arcee was extremely ticklish.

Elita One then says, "I still don't condone that kind of punishment."

Jumpbee replies, "I know, Elita, but with someone like Smokeedge, it's like talking to a brick wall about punishments."

Just then, Arcee unlocks the entrance using the override command.

Zeta then says, "Smokeedge told us to stay."

Arcee replies, "When you're in charge, you can call the shots. Bee, Cliff, with me."

Bumblebee buzzes, "All right."

Cliffjumper replies, "Got it. Jeez."

Arcee, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper transform to vehicle mode and they drive out of the base.

Bulkhead then asks, "So, uh, what else is on the activities list?"

Suddenly, the Autobots cringe in pain as the sound of Miko tuning her guitar is heard as she asks, "How about... band practice?"

Hot Shot then says, "Agent Fowler is coming, and if he sees you guys, he might try to put you into protective military custody, away from us."

Miko groans, "Aw, all right."

Miko packs up her stuff and hides it.

After a minute and a half of waiting, the proximity sensor sounds and Agent Fowler descends from the roof via the elevator.

Agent Fowler shouts as he exits the elevator, "Prime!"

Prima says before inquiring, "Optimus left to investigate a lead in the Grand Canyon, and Smokeedge put me among others in charge of things here. Want me to pass along a message?"

Agent Fowler replies, "As a matter of fact, Prime Sr., I do. Now, I don't know what language you bots speak on your planet, but Optimus promised he would handle the Decepticons with help from both Autobot personnel and from NEST, and blowing up a crater in the middle of Nebraska is not what the word '"handle"' means in English!"

Prima then says sternly, "First of all, watch what you say, young one; this may be your planet, but your attitude is not gonna be tolerated by any Autobot with as much of a bad temper as Megatron. Secondly, modern Cybertronians speak Neocybex, a modern Cybertronian language. And thirdly, that crater in Nebraska was blown up because the inside was actually an Energon mine, and a recently-returned Megatron ordered Starscream to blow it up along with our forces. But I do get the underlying meaning of what you're attempting to say."

Agent Fowler replies before stopping short, "I should hope so, and you tell Optimus – "

Agent Fowler notices Miko's guitar and asks, "Since when are you bots musicians?"

Jack and the rest of the new Iron Legion recruits step out and Jack asks, "Hey. How's it going?"

Agent Fowler states, "Contact with civilians! Team Prime has really gone off-book this time. Wait, don't tell me: you're running a daycare center!"

June answers, "Actually, our first children were brought into this by accident because some of the Autobots were on patrol in Jasper, and they were intercepted by some Vehicon Troopers, and the rest of us were brought into the fold to avoid mistrust, communication issues, and keeping secrets that can cause rifts in relationships. And, with special permission from the President under Clause 109-29-3 of the Classified Alien-Autobot Cooperation Act, we had to be given our own Iron Man suits to protect ourselves from the Decepticons."

Agent Fowler then says, "Okay. I'll go report to my superiors and the President my opinion about this. We'll see if we can make a workaround for this arrangement."

Agent Fowler goes into the elevator and goes back to the roof.

Meanwhile, in the Grand Canyon, Ratchet asks, "Optimus, what do we hope to find here?"

Optimus answers, "The site of the largest Cybertronian battlefield in this solar system."

Saberfist asks, "Wait a nanoklik, it was actually here on Earth?"

Optimus answers before questioning, "Yes. Do either of you recall the period late in the war when both Autobots and Decepticons began hiding their Energon spoils off-world?"

Saberfist answers, "Yes, we remember. After all, it's the reason Energon deposits and mines exist on planets like Earth."

Optimus adds, "It is also the reason battles for Energon came to be waged on planets such as this one, and I fear Megatron's memory is as long as history."

Smokeedge then says, "Either way, we'll stop Megatron together, because when Autobots unite as a team and put aside their differences, there's not a problem that can't be solved."

Optimus smiles a bit before continuing to lead the way

Meanwhile, Agent Fowler leaves the base on his helicopter and he says into his radio, "Sir, Agent Fowler. We have a situation. I'm en route from the Autobot base. I'll brief you in person."

On the Nemesis, Soundwave plays back parts of the transmission, "(Filtered; with Soundwave's voice) Sir, Agent Fowler. I'm en route from the Autobot base. I'll brief you in person."

Starscream remarks before saying, "Autobot base, eh? Humans, always the weak link. Fetch me this Agent Fowler, so that he may brief us instead."

Soundwave deploys Laserbeak and the drone flies out of the Nemesis at high rates of speed.

Meanwhile, in the Nevada Desert, Agent Fowler's helicopter continues to fly.

Then suddenly, the radar picks up an enemy bogey.

Agent Fowler then says, "Hey, Big Bird, I'm flying here."

Agent Fowler spots Laserbeak and he asks, "What in Uncle Sam's beard?"

Laserbeak flies towards Agent Fowler's helicopter and Agent Fowler barely dodges out of the way in time.

Agent Fowler grunts a bit as he regains control and he inquires aloud, "Ugh! First the freeways aren't safe, and now air travel?"

Agent Fowler flies further into the canyon and Laserbeak headbutts the bottom of the chopper.

Agent Fowler looks back at Laserbeak and scowls as he looks back in front.

Agent Fowler sees that he's about to hit a large canyon wall, and he yanks on the joystick hard enough to make the helicopter go up in place.

Agent Fowler continues flying after reaching the top of the canyon wall, and Laserbeak follows.

Agent Fowler looks behind him and smirks before purposefully lagging behind Laserbeak at the end of the canyon walls leading to another canyon.

Now, it was Agent Fowler chasing Laserbeak.

Agent Fowler then says, "You wanna dance, 'Con? I'll lead!"

Agent Fowler makes the machine gun open fire on Laserbeak, following Optimus' advice about the types of ammunition that can penetrate Cybertronian armor.

Several dozen bullets make impact and Laserbeak screeches in pain as he gets riddled with bullet holes.

Then, 24 seconds of shooting later, Agent Fowler's helicopter runs out of ammo.

Deciding enough was enough, Laserbeak flies up and divebombs towards the chopper's tail rotor, smashing it off with a divebombing headbutt.

This sends the helicopter spinning out of control.

Agent Fowler bemoans mostly to himself, "There's never an Autobot around when you actually need one."

Agent Fowler struggles to push the red emergency call button linked to the Autobot base computers, but he's having trouble.

Then, Laserbeak deploys two tentacles out of his bottom body and the tentacles grab hold of the helicopter, stopping it in its tracks.

Laserbeak smashes the window and grabs Agent Fowler.

As Agent Fowler is pulled out of the chopper, he presses the emergency call button, but it's too late.

The helicopter is sent tumbling to the ground below and it explodes on impact.

Laserbeak flies back to the Nemesis while keeping Agent Fowler safe and restrained.

Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, the emergency SOS scanner beeps with an alarm, and Prima walks over.

Rafael complains, "My ears!"

Prima says, "It's an SOS from Agent Fowler."

Prima accepts the appropriate button and the computer says, "Transmission incomplete. Transmitter was destroyed."

Prima theorizes correctly, "Which means he was captured and taken aboard the Nemesis."

Bulkhead says, "Oh, well."

Jack asks incredulously, "Oh, well?! Seriously?!"

Bulkhead replies, "Fowler's a jerk."

Alpha Trion states, "Whether his attitude is acceptable or not, Bulkhead, he is now a prisoner of the Decepticons. And he knows where our base is. If we do not find him and rescue him, he will end up dead before he can even give up any form of information."

Miko adds, "And did we not just witness how quickly Fowler backs down from a bot? The 'Cons will totally make him squeal!"

Bulkhead replies, "But we lost the signal; Fowler could be anywhere!"

Mosssound replies, "Not necessarily; based on our intel and based on some quick calculations of the Nemesis' flight pattern since our upgraded base scanners can penetrate the high-tech molecular masking field that prevents Autobot detection, the Nemesis is at latitude coordinates 39.5, longitude -116.9, right in the middle of the Nevada Desert."

Once Bulkhead and the humans look at her with weird looks, she deadpans, "Check it on the main computers if you don't believe me."

Rafael checks it out and he says, "Whoa. Mosssound is right."

Meanwhile, in the brig of the Nemesis, a Vehicon Trooper escorts Agent Fowler to Starscream and Blacksword.

Agent Fowler is thrown to the floor roughly and he grunts in pain a bit.

Starscream remarks, "Welcome... Agent Fowler."

Agent Fowler gets up and dusts himself off as he remarks back, "You treat all of your guests this nice?"

Starscream remarks, "Hmhmhmhmhm. Any friend of the Autobots."

The Autobot liaison remarks, "Autobot – that one of them coin-operated wash my own car places?"

Starscream replies before saying to the Vehicon Trooper, "Oh, so that's the way it's going to be, eh? Apparently, not even General Blacksword has told you I have no appreciation for human humor. Make our guest comfortable."

Starscream and Blacksword leave and the Vehicon clenches its fists as it approaches the Autobot liaison menacingly.

Fowler from the Decepticons. But remember, no goofing off and no going off on your own; there's nine hundred and ninety-nine novemdecillion, eight hundred and eighty-eight octodecillion, seven hundred and seventy-seven septendecillion, six hundred and sixty-six sexdecillion, five hundred and fifty-five quindecillion, four hundred and forty-four quattuordecillion, three hundred and thirty-three tredecillion, two hundred and twenty-two duodecillion, one hundred and eleven undecillion, nine hundred and eighty-seven decillion, six hundred and fifty-four nonillion, three hundred and twenty-one octillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septillion, eight hundred and eighty-eight sextillion, seven hundred and seventy-seven quintillion, six hundred and sixty-six quadrillion, five hundred and fifty-five trillion, four hundred and forty-four billion, three hundred and thirty-three million, two hundred and twenty-two thousand, one hundred and eleven Vehicon Cars, Jets, Tanks, Helicopters, Trucks, Space Shuttles, Rocket Planes, Trains, Road Trains, Armored Cars, Bosses, Sentries, Scouts, Scientists, Leaders, Titans, Infiltrators, Warriors, Sergeants, Melee Warriors, Ranged Warriors, Lieutenants, Corporals, Soldiers, Captains, Scorchers, Bombardiers, Gunners, Generals, Shotgunners, Protectors, Rocket Soldiers, Brutes, Cloakers, Heavy Soldiers, Destroyers, Wall Crawlers, Artillery Specialists, Melee Specialists, Defenders, Medics, Aerialcons, Combaticons, Constructicons, Deployers, Elite Guards, Insecticons, Lightning Strike Coalition Troopers, Destructicons, Shifters, Decepticon Heavy Brigades, Arachnicons, Stunticons, Amphiboids, Buffaloids, Chompazoids, Corvicons, Croctobots, Lobstercons, Scavengebots, Sharkticons, Skunkticons, Snaketicons, Dreads, Hunters, and Commanders onboard that ship, meaning that even with our machines, our upgrades, our numbers, and our weapons, we're still vastly outnumbered. If any of you get lost on that ship or get left behind, the chances of your survival automatically drop to zero. Is that understood?"

Everyone replies, "Yes sir!" in unison.

Prima then says, "Nitrosmine, Iron Speedster, Archimedes, Tankard Doctor, Techmaster, feel up to accompanying us for this mission?"

Dylan, June, Jack, Miko, and Raf nod in unison before activating their respective Iron Man suits.

Then, after Bulkhead activates the Ground Bridge, Prima says, "Zeta, you're in charge."

Zeta Prime replies, "Yes, brother."

The seven hundred and eighty Autobots rush through the Ground Bridge, and after arriving at the coordinates, Bulkhead says as he and the others spot the Nemesis up ahead, "Uh-oh. The whole Decepticon shebang."

The Autobots hide themselves and Nitrosmine whispers, "(Softly) Sir, what's the plan?"

Prima answers in a whisper, "(Softly) We stealthily scrap and/or reprogram as many Decepticons as we can, and make our way to the brig."

Orange Beetle, Tailgate, Rockskipper, Taildog, Bulkhead, and Hot Rod deploy the multiplicator gun Weaponizer Mini-Cons called Joygate, Shock Haul, Hubheader, Ripper Raid, Ironcruncher, and Omegajack, and they take out the reprogramming harpoon Mini-Cons before they go about stealthily destroying and/or reprogramming and then multiplying the Vehicon Troopers into Transpobot Troopers, Smokeedge's coined name for Autobot versions of the Vehicon Troopers.

After getting through at least fifty Vehicon Troopers to reprogram them into Transpobot Troopers, Bulkhead says into his commlink, "Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, do you read me?"

Arcee replies over the commlink, "Loud and clear, Bulkhead."

Bulkhead says, "We all have a hands on deck situation."

Arcee replies, "Bulkhead, they're humans, children. Just do whatever."

Bulkhead replies, "That's the thing: I'm with Russet, Tawnybreak, Kingbreaker, India Bravo, Trinitrostopper, Sparkshank, Lifeclaw, Brightgrafter, Sablestorm, Cheerheart, Howlheat, Waterstrike, The sound of screeching tires is heard over Bulkhead's commlink and Arcee asks, "You're where?"

Bulkhead answers, "You heard me, and the reason why is because Agent Fowler found out about the humans and attempted to report it to his superiors at the Pentagon, but Soundwave intercepted the transmission and Laserbeak abducted Fowler while destroying his chopper."

Arcee asks, "He's where?"

Bulkhead answers again, "In the brig of the Nemesis, being interrogated for the location of our base. And there's more: Techmaster, Nitrosmine, Iron Speedster, Archimedes, and Tankard Doctor are with us per Prima's orders in accordance with our intel."

Arcee replies, "Okay, got it. I'll talk later."

Arcee switches channels and says, "Arcee to base, come in."

Solus Prime says, "Arcee, this is Solus Prime. I'm opening the Ground Bridge."

Solus activates the Ground Bridge at Arcee, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper's coordinates.

Meanwhile, in the Nemesis brig, Starscream says to Agent Fowler, "Agent Fowler, I have one simple request which will save your family from the pain of grieving over your death: tell us the location of the Autobot base."

Agent Fowler replies, "No problem, but I need to ask you something first."

Starscream replies back, "Yes? I'm listening."

Agent Fowler says in a smart aleck tone, "I got an issue with the customer service around here. Could I speak to the manager?"

Starscream growls before saying to a Vehicon Trooper, "Rrrrraaahhh! Blacksword makes the decisions around here! Blacksword is in charge! #PF-982, bring the Energon prod, please."

The Vehicon Trooper rushes to get the Energon prod.

Outside, Bulkhead observes the now one hundred and seventy-two Transpobot Troopers and asks, "What's taking Arcee, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee?"

Nitrosmine then says, "Dude, the 'Cons could be putting the clamps on Fowler right now. Let's just storm the joint."

Hot Rod speaks up as he says, "No. With the amount of Vehicon Troopers of various kinds that Prima specified back at the base, it'd be a suicide mission, one we wouldn't be able to survive."

Suddenly, the Ground Bridge of the Autobot base opens a portal and Bulkhead says, "Ah, they're here."

Arcee, Cliffjumper, and Bumblebee emerge in vehicle mode.

Bumblebee remarks, "Whoa. So our intel and our plans were right on the money again."

Just then, several Vehicon Troopers appear on the top of the Nemesis and one of them says as they all aim their blasters, "You there!"

The seven hundred and seventy-nine Autobots say in unison things like "Scrap." "Crap." Or "Nuts and bolts."

In the Nemesis brig, Starscream says, "I ask nicely one last time: the Autobot base!"

Agent Fowler replies, "Sure thing, buddy, right after you eat my star-spangled shorts!"

Starscream smirks as he activates the Energon prod, and he shocks the Autobot liaison in the nuts, making him scream in pain.

Starscream remarks, "Just as I imagined: Energon and human nervous systems don't mix."

Back in the Grand Canyon, Optimus, Saberfist, Ratchet, Balto, Adon, Helius, Gator, Kunta, Gemstone, Zeeva, Milita, Lulu, Daenerys, Clank, Chritopher, Kenwyn, Gadget, Rikku, Fang, Cloud, Racktooth, Pingear, Fangwheel, Cogtine, and Smokeedge come across a large graveyard of ancient Cybertronian robots.

Smokeedge takes out his Instant Scanner for his cloning machine, his Protoform Generator Machine, and his Cybertronian Revival Machines and then scans the corpses in an instant before Ratchet says, "For the first time in my life, Optimus, I had hoped that you and Smokeedge were wrong."

Optimus replies, "Me too, old friend."

Suddenly, the sounds of a Cybertronian jet's engines are heard and the twenty-five Autobots see a Cybertronian jet in silver and purple fly to a high ledge before transforming to robot mode and then turning around to reveal Megatron.

Megatron remarks, "Optimus. Been well? I see you brought your trusty watchdogs. I was certain that Ratchet would be convalescing in a scrapyard while Saberfist, Balto, Adon, Helius, Gator, Kunta, Gemstone, Zeeva, Milita, Lulu, Daenerys, Clank, Chritopher, Kenwyn, Gadget, Rikku, Fang, Cloud, Racktooth, Pingear, Fangwheel, Cogtine, and Smokeedge were corroding in space for their ability to turn my own troops to your cause and for their ability to invent counter-offensives for every Decepticon plan."

Saberfist then snarls, "We freed them from your abusive, rude, and generally unpleasant tyranny, you son of a (bleep!)"

Smokeedge replies, "And I was certain you'd be burning in Unicron's Pit for dabbling in dark magic."

Ratchet snarls while cracking his knuckles, "Why don't you invite him down here for a chat?"

Optimus says to Megatron, "I know why you're here, Megatron."

Megatron replies before saying as he takes out the Dark Energon shard, "Hardly a surprise, Optimus. After all, you and I have been at this for a long time, and your time has come to an end!"

The Dark Energon shard crackles and Megatron throws it down into the graveyard.

The Dark Energon shard merges with the ground and cracks it open at the areas where the corpses and landing of the shard are.

Optimus looks stoic while Ratchet, Saberfist, Smokeedge, and the others are looking on in shock.

Megatron's chestplate and optics grew a deep bright purple and he bellows, "RISE, MY ARMY!"

Suddenly, all of the veins and optics of the dead Cybertronians started to light up in purple and they rose from their Earthy graves with zombie like growls and snarls.

Ratchet whispers in horror, "(Softly) By the Allspark!"

One of the new Terrorcons deploys a sword-like spear.

Optimus looks shocked and angered all at once.

All of the Terrorcons growl and snarl at the twenty-five living Autobots.

Megatron bellows again, "BEHOLD! THE POWER OF DARK ENERGON!"

The Terrorcons start shambling towards the Autobots.

To be continued...
