Transformers Prime: No Autobots Are Idiots.

Chapter 28: Darkness Rising Part 5.

(Transformers Prime Universe #192,394,596,203,495,867,019,183, Sunday, July 4th, 2010, third person POV...)

Optimus begins the recap, "Previously on Transformers Prime..."

Megatron remarks, "Bravo, Optimus, but this is only a prelude. You may wish to save your strength for the main event."

Arcee then asks, "All right, where's Fowler?"

Prima answers, "In the brig."

Prima then says while pointing at a computer terminal with schematics for Megatron's Space Bridge, "Nitrosmine, take a picture of that, please."

Nitrosmine does so and the Autobots continue to the brig.

Jack then says, "Optimus, if this is an average day with you guys, I need time to clear my head."

Megatron snarls, "Your mindless agenda resulted in the disabling of my ship, the delay of my plans, and the liberation of 4 of our most dangerous Autobot prisoners!"

Ratchet says, "I was right; these are engineering schematics for Megatron's Space Bridge."

Vector Prime adds, "And our intel says that ever since Arcee and her group blew up Shockwave's Space Bridge on Cybertron, the Decepticons discreetly stole Earth technology to reverse-engineer them into Space Bridge parts when they first came to Earth. And now, Megatron plans to bring his undead army to Earth."

Optimus replies, "Indeed, Vector Prime, and as Shadeskulker, Willow, Sage, Ember, Hazel, Ivy, Iris, Wren, Autumn, River, and Echo have surmised, there is only one place in the galaxy Megatron intends to use to dump his entire Dark Energon supply for his undead army: Cybertron."

(End of recap.)

As a hologram of Megatron's plan succeeding plays in front of the entire Autobot army, Optimus says, "Autobots, we cannot allow Megatron to send his supply of Dark Energon through his Space Bridge. If we fail, the dead of Cybertron will rise, swarm through the Space Bridge vortex, and invade Earth, bending humankind to Megatron's twisted will."

The hologram disappears and Ratchet asks, "How are we going to stop him, though?"

Autumn answers, "It's simple. We use me and my sisters as a distraction while the rest of our forces destroy the Space Bridge and terminate the rest of the Decepticons."

Ratchet asks incredulously, "Destroy the Space Bridge?! How are we even going to accomplish such a task, Autumn? Don't you realize that we don't have the firepower or the technology forged to do so by Solus Prime's Forges and the Nephrite Smashers?"

Autumn replies, "Yes, I'm perfectly aware of that. But you don't need technology or firepower when you guys have the ten of us. With our weapons and our powers, we'll be able to blow that thing to smithereens if things hit the fan, in human idioms. Besides, if we're lucky, we may be able to take Megatron down with his Space Bridge, and maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to deal a massive blow to the Decepticon army's numbers aboard the Nemesis. Now, that would be a crying shame."

Optimus says, "While I approve of your idea of destroying the Space Bridge, we do not want to kill every one of the Decepticons in the process. Autobots do not kill indiscriminately."

Echo then asks, "Who among you want the war to end with the Decepticons dead?"

A big majority of the Autobots, including Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Echo, and her sisters, raises their hands.

Optimus sighs at this, knowing that this was a debate he wouldn't be able to win.

River then says, "But in all seriousness, if there are indeed any Decepticons willing to surrender to save their own lives and to change sides like with Drift, then who would we be to mercilessly kill them without considering subjecting them to a lie detector test while thoroughly restrained?"

Ivy then says, "And anyway, even if we don't destroy the remnants of the Decepticon army, there'll be chaos, infighting, and confusion with Megatron gone, and Starscream, well, he'll just be as incompetent at being Decepticon leader like he always has been all across our sectors of the Cybertronian Multiverse."

Ragebird then says, "You're forgetting one thing; even if Starscream is a terrible choice for Decepticon leader, there's little doubt that he'll eventually have to accept help from Flashblaze, Shockwave, Soundwave, Ahellona, Duskblade, Inkstorm, Jetsquall, Dimstorm, Shadowystorm, Gloomstorm, Blackstorm, Shadysquall, Shadesquall, Leadenstorm, Unlitstorm, Hubbreaker, Centerbreaker, Corebreaker, Edgebreaker, Bosombreaker, Rootbreaker, Focusbreaker, Gistbreaker, Marrowbreaker, Pitbreaker, Demiseclaw, Endclaw, Expireclaw, Murderclaw, Killclaw, Drownclaw, Executeclaw, Poisonbreaker, Lynchclaw, and Crucifyclaw among others since Starscream lacks the one thing that make Megatron a popular Decepticon leader in the history of the Transformers Multiverse aside from just speeches: his ruthless military leadership style and his ability to make judgement calls in the face of victory and defeat not too similar to Optimus' same ability to make judgement calls."

Ivy replies, "Starscream, asking for help? Yeah, no offense, but something like that in the Decepticon ranks rarely happens because Decepticons are known to be vain, arrogant, overconfident, all that stuff. But Starscream asking for help? Leading the Decepticons while trying to emulate Megatron? Yeah, that sounds like something Soundwave would have to get under control in the name of his one true master."

Elita One then says, "That maybe so, but don't underestimate Starscream. If he managed to keep the Nemesis afloat for three years since Megatron was last seen before two days ago, in some ways Starscream is smarter than he appears as much as on the opposite end of the scale."

Ivy replies before asking her sisters, "Yeah, you got a point there, ma'am, but I'm also stating the facts based on how much or how little I know of modern Decepticon hierarchy. Nonetheless, I don't intend to underestimate Starscream or Megatron or any other Decepticon for as long as I live. That'd be a fatal mistake neither of us or even I can afford to make, right, girls?"

Willow, Sage, Ember, Hazel, Iris, Wren, Autumn, River, and Echo reply in unison, "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!"

Arcee remarks, "Good to know all ten of you know when to take things seriously."

Ember replies, "To be frank, that happens to be one fiftieth of what is our dynamic in this war these days."

Arcee nods before transforming to vehicle mode and driving towards Jack Darby's residence.

At the Darby residence, Jack was fine-tuning the Dark Energon repellents for his clothes and his Iron Man suit when Arcee comes up and says, "Nice fine-tuning."

Jack turns to face Arcee and asks, "Let me guess: go time?"

Arcee answers, "Go time."

In the Autobot base, after Arcee, Jack, and the rest of the Iron Legion turn up, Ratchet says, "Optimus, I have pinpointed the location of Megatron's Space Bridge. It's just as Shadeskulker said, it's high above Earth's orbit, in the middle of the point of travel between the Earth and the Moon."

Optimus says, "And we easily have access to interstellar travel thanks to Forge and Nephrite Smasher upgrades."

Miko then questions, "Okay, so, a portion of you guys are perfectly able to fly, but wouldn't you be able to Ground Bridge there if the Ground Bridge wasn't turbo-charged into a Space Bridge?"

Noisecracker answers, "No, Miko; a normal Ground Bridge has limited range. If that portal was stretched all the way into orbit, the vortex could've snapped and scattered us across space."

June then says, "But hypothetically, if that was the case, you'd have to take that risk. And since Megatron is meeting with his Space Bridge in person this time around, you'll have to get there first without worrying about difficulties with your own Space Bridge."

Optimus adds, "June is correct; reaching the Space Bridge first is our only means of stopping Megatron."

Daenerys, and Primus along with all of the generic Autobot troops so far assembled at the Space Bridge as Ratchet activates the machine and the humans say their potentially final goodbyes.

Ratchet then says, "Optimus, if you leave me stranded on a planet teeming with humans with and without Iron Man suits, I will never forgive you."

Saberfist then says, "Some human clones became Cybertronians; what's your point?"

Optimus smiles a bit as he remarks, "Until we meet again, old friend."

Optimus and some of the others with battle masks slide them on.

Optimus then calls out, "Autobots! Transform and roll out!"

The six hundred and eighty-eight thousand, five hundred and thirty-eight Autobots transform to their vehicle modes, the Grounders start their engines while the fliers fire up their afterburners and start spinning their propeller blades, and they drive and fly through the portal.

En route, Optimus calls out to the entire army, "Maximum overdrive!"

They all activated their Maximum Overdrive upgrades, driving and flying at their Cybertronian top speeds.

High above Earth's orbit, the Ground Bridge portal opens in front of the starboard bow of the Space Bridge and the Autobot army appears.

Optimus says, "Autobots, transform, and gravitize!"

Optimus and the Autobots transform to robot mode, and they magnetize their feet to the metallic surface of the Space Bridge.

Bulkhead stumbles a bit as he remarks while looking down, up, and left, "Whoa, whoa. Don't look down, or up, or left."

Smokeedge remarks, "Try looking right."

Bulkhead says quickly, "Nope, I'm good."

The Autobots share a small chuckle at that.

Then, they turn around to see the Nemesis arrive.

Arcee asks, "So, Megatron's packing enough Dark Energon to raise Cybertron's entire dead population?"

Platinum answers, "That is affirmative, Arcee."

Optimus then says, "And since we don't possess ready means of disabling the Space Bridge, nothing gets in or out!"

Optimus and the Autobots bring out their blasters.

In the bridge of the Nemesis, Megatron chuckles as he remarks before saying, "Optimus Prime never disappoints. Unlike you, Starscream!"

Starscream replies, "No need for concern, master. Soundwave is locking onto Cybertron's coordinates, per my instructions. Heh."

Megatron looks back at the screen, not believing Starscream's lie despite the fact that Soundwave was indeed locking onto Cybertron's coordinates.

Megatron then notices the ten extra femmes and the transformatted human clones and he asks, "Who are those femmes and mechs, Starscream? I was not aware Optimus had new recruits."

Starscream takes a look and he answers, "I don't know, Lord Megatron; I've literally never seen them before."

Megatron narrows his optics at the screen and hums, "Hmmm. Interesting..."

On the Space Bridge, Elita One asks, "Optimus, what are they waiting for?"

Optimus answers, "I do not know, Elita."

Optimus narrows his optics and he zooms in on the dish-less mechanism on the Nemesis.

Optimus states, "It seems that the Decepticons have sustained serious damage to their interstellar navigation system."

Bulkhead remarks, "Ah. That's my handiwork."

Optimus then says, "Great job, Bulkhead. Without the dish, Megatron will be unable to aim the Space Bridge at Cybertron."

In the base, Rafael asks, "Don't the Decepticons know where their own planet is, Ratchet?"

Ratchet answers, "Naturally, but Cybertron is millions of lightyears away. In order to reach their target, their aim has to be astronomically precise."

Overshard says over the commlink, "Megatron went to the trouble of meeting up with his Space Bridge in person, which means Starscream thought of an alternative targeting system – a remote one."

Ratchet scoffs, "Hmph! From what I know of Earth's technology, I doubt that there exists a single radio telescope dish on this planet powerful enough to pinpoint Cybertron's intergalactic coordinates."

Shadeskulker says dangerously, "Oh, ye of little faith. Ratchet, just because humans are small, not made of metal, and can only live up to one hundred years depending on physical health and overall lifestyle doesn't mean that they don't have some forms of strong technology."

Rafael asks, "She's right; what about a whole bunch of linked radio telescope dishes, like the giant-sized array in Texas?"

But Ratchet rebuffs the kids by saying, "Zip-duh-buh-buh-buh-buh! This is not child's play!"

Optimus replies over the commlink, "Good thinking, Raf. Ratchet, have Agent Fowler alert the array staff to the security hazard."

Agent Fowler exclaims deliriously, "You, soldier! You're out of uniform! Put on some pants!"

The liaison flops back onto the hospital bed.

Smokeedge cackles with hysterical laughter over the commlink, making everyone a little uneasy.

Smokeedge then says over the commlink, "That's not gonna be doable, and the only way to get into the network is on the inside of the building, but Soundwave is already there and he took out the guards, meaning that he likely killed them to prevent the Decepticons from being snitched on."

Rafael says in frustration, "He's right; the array's firewalls are too thick!"

Ratchet asks as he sounds like he's about to laugh, "You actually think you can keep the Decepticons out?"

Rafael replies, "Maybe, if I could get inside the building and log onto their internal network to get past the firewalls."

In person, Optimus says, "The risk is too great. Soundwave is an extremely dangerous enemy. This is extremely perilous, children."

In the base, Jack says, "Optimus, with all due respect, you said it yourself yesterday, this is bigger than three hundred and twenty-five humans."

Miko adds, "Yeah, if we let the 'Cons win, we're screwed along with everyone else on our planet."

Optimus thinks for a moment before asking, "Raf? Are you sure about this?"

Rafael answers, "I wanna give it a shot."

On the Nemesis, Starscream remarks, "Surely, Lord Megatron, the Autobots are up to something."

Megatron gets in Starscream's face and asks, "Really, Starscream?"

Starscream answers weakly, "Yes."

Megatron scowls before pressing the alarm button and shouting, "Crush them!"

Suddenly, a big host of Vehicon Jets, Helicopters, and other flying vehicles emerges from the flight deck of the Nemesis and they fly towards the Autobot army.

Bulkhead remarks, "Whoa. That's a welcoming committee."

In Texas, at the dish array, on the other side of the gates, the kids emerge in their Iron Man suits and Jack, Miko, and Raf groan as they stand wobbly.

Jack then says, "Steelwolf wasn't kidding; this'll take some getting used to."

The Iron Legion spots the building and they rush inside.

Meanwhile, the Vehicon Fliers fire their laser guns at the Autobots, but they continuously missed.

Two to four Vehicon Fliers transform to robot mode and they open fire while getting closer to Optimus, but the Autobot leader guns them down.

Some Vehicon Fliers land and one of them tries to strike Optimus, but he nimbly dodges out of the way before slamming the Vehicon face first into the ground and then throwing the drone into his comrade.

Optimus then deploys an Energon sword before proceeding to slice and dice Vehicons while shooting double taps at them.

Bulkhead shoots at a Vehicon Jet before deploying his wrecking ball and pounding another Vehicon in the head hard enough to make his head pop off.

Arcee blasts a Vehicon Jet before high-kicking another.

Then she deploys her arm blades and then slicing and dicing.

Meanwhile, in the building, Nitrosmine opens the door to the computer room and sees no one.

She then closes the door.

Nitrosmine then says, "Security sure is lax in this place."

Shadeskulker replies over the commlink, "That's because Soundwave did take out the guards."

Techmaster remarks before saying with a scowl, "I'm in. And so are the Decepticons."

Iron Speedster asks, "What?"

Nitrosmine asks, "How can you tell?"

Techmaster answers, "Schematics, with the same alien math we saw on the Nemesis, but this time, I can download it."

Techmaster plugs in his flash drive and jacks into the system through his armor's tech.

Nitrosmine then says, "It's gotta be the Space Bridge."

Techmaster explains, "The Decepticons are syncing it to the dishes, but I can sync to them."

Iron Speedster asks, "Will they know?"

Techmaster answers, "Unfortunately, based on our intel, Soundwave will definitely know. And thanks to Smokeedge's intuition, my armor is 100% tamper-proof."

In the server room, Soundwave fully synchronizes the dishes.

The radio telescope dishes tilt upward.

On the Space Bridge, Bulkhead stumbles a bit as he says, "Whoa."

Arcee asks, "What just happened?"

Optimus replies, "The Decepticons are locking onto Cybertron."

On the Nemesis, Starscream says, "Lord Megatron, the Space Bridge is ready for activation!"

Megatron replies, "Finally!"

In the computer room of the dish array building, Techmaster says, "The dishes are locked onto Cybertron, but not for long."

Techmaster types in a cancel command, and the dishes move out of alignment.

The Space Bridge groans metallically, and Bumblebee buzzes, "Raf did it!"

Optimus punches another Vehicon Jet and says, "Indeed, Bumblebee, this can only be Raf's doing."

On the bridge of the Nemesis, Megatron demands, "Starscream, what is happening?!"

Starscream stammers a bit before saying to Soundwave in the commlink, "Ah – eh – uh, Soundwave, what is happening?!"

Soundwave sifts through the security camera footage and homes in on the three Iron Legion members through the camera.

Archimedes then says, thankful for the voice distortions in the Iron Man suits, "Fellas, we just got made; Soundwave knows we're here."

Techmaster then says, "I know, but the dishes are heading back towards Cybertron. I have to undo it again."

Archimedes then says while aiming his cannons at Techmaster, "We just got made, and I don't want to test out our capabilities in battle yet, so jack out!"

Soundwave sends his right tentacle at the humans and grabs both Iron Speedster and Nitrosmine before tossing them around the room.

Techmaster says, "I won't let 'em lock on again."

Iron Speedster gets tossed into a metal wall and Nitrosmine gets tossed into the same wall.

Soundwave tries to grab Techmaster but he moves out of the way before secretly pocketing his flash drive.

Soundwave totals the computer, and Nitrosmine lets loose her weaponry.

Soundwave's tentacle writhes in pain as it tries to dodge the Energon bolts and metal bullets before deciding to grab a fire axe and retreat.

Archimedes smacks Techmaster in the head and says, "Next time I say abort, don't ignore me."

The Iron Legion flies after Soundwave's tentacle.

Soundwave locks onto Cybertron and cuts the hardline wire with the axe.

The humans make it into the room right as Soundwave was about to leave in jet mode.

Soundwave looks back, and Archimedes shoots at his visor.

Soundwave shakes in pain before transforming to his jet mode which is a General Atomics MQ-1 Predator drone with an added jet engine because of Soundwave's Cybertronian anatomy and blasting off to the Nemesis.

Nitrosmine asks, "Why is he leaving without a fight?"

Techmaster answers, "He cut the hardline. The dishes are locked onto Cybertron... for good."

Tankard Doctor scans the guards and she confirms, "Shadeskulker and Smokeedge are right; they're dead."

On the Nemesis bridge, a screen shows Cybertron's intergalactic coordinates being locked on.

Megatron asks, "Now, Starscream?"

Starscream answers, "Now."

Starscream presses the alarm button and the Space Bridge fully activates with the portal set for Cybertron.

The portal electrocutes any Vehicons in its path and Smokeedge and his troops finish reprogramming the Vehicons into Transpobots before sending them to the Autobot bases on Earth.

Optimus and Smokeedge turn to see Megatron hoisting his Dark Energon supply over his head while rising from an elevator platform on the top of the Nemesis.

Megatron exclaims, "At last!"

Megatron roars as he chucks his only Dark Energon supply into the portal.

Smokeedge tries to blow it up with his rocket launcher, but he misses and the supply of Dark Energon flies into the portal.

But what everyone doesn't know is that, in secret, Smokeedge and Vector Prime along with Nightimus went back in time to retrieve the corpses of the fallen Cybertronians, ancestors included, so they can be cloned and revived in Smokeedge's machines.

The Dark Energon races to Cybertron's surface like a meteor and collides with the surface, spreading Dark Energon everywhere.

As more and more natural Cybertronians are demonically revived, Megatron's optics and chestplate continue to glow purple.

Megatron shouts, "ARISE, MY LEGION!"

On Cybertron, the corpses rise from the dead and remove themselves from their graves.

Bulkhead then asks, "So, uh, how do we beat a whole planet of the undead?"

Primus answers, "The only two ways are through using the Allspark or by blowing up the Space Bridge while the Terrorcons are in transit."

Optimus asks in concern, "Are you all right, sire?"

Primus answers while holding his fuel tank, "I'll be fine after twenty-four hours of recuperation."

Ratchet then says into the commlink in the base even as Agent Fowler is caught up on recent events, "Optimus! I'm registering a rapidly expanding mass in their Space Bridge vortex, one with the same peculiar energy profile."

Optimus replies, "Dark Energon. Ratchet, it would appear that our intel was right again; we must destroy the Space Bridge. There's enough live Energon coursing through it to achieve the detonation stage, but we lack the firepower to ignite it, and Primus is in no shape to shapeshift into his giant form, not after his original body was infected with Dark Energon once more."

Ratchet replies, "If I knew how the Space Bridge was engineered, I might be able to find a tactical way of successfully completing that task."

Rafael asks while holding up his flash drive, "Um, would schematics be able to help you?"

Ratchet nods before asking, "Optimus, I must say, outside of our intel and our upgrades, the Decepticon Space Bridge is our sole hope of ever returning to Cybertron. Are you positive that its destruction is our only option?"

Optimus replies, "I am afraid so."

Ratchet then says, "Then, by all means, let us light our darkest hour!"

Smokeedge then says, "Autobots, take your positions and follow Ratchet's lead while Optimus, Whitebright, Accordion Bus, Adaptus, Primus, Akiba, Alchemist, Amalgamous, Amazon, Dimicron, Electrawing, Epistemus, and the others along with myself, our Titans, and our Guardian Robots and Omega Sentinels make our stand."

The Autobot army rushes to their destination while the ninety-seven Primes, the thirty-three Titans, the 26 Omega Sentinels, Smokeedge, Elita One, and Primus himself stood ready as Megatron approached the Space Bridge in jet mode.

Megatron switches to robot mode and lands.

Megatron says to Whitebright, "I should thank you for getting rid of one of the thorns in my side, but Silversnake had still had usefulness to me."

Optimus and the others look at Whitebright as he replies, "You shouldn't. He killed a comrade, and it is said, an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. In that way, even you can't expect to kill any Autobots without risking provoking potential Autobot retaliation. Especially from our Creator."

Megatron looks at Primus and Megatron actually looks scared for once in his life.

Megatron exclaims, "Primus?! That-that's impossible!"

Primus replies, "I am one of the few who decides what is possible and what isn't possible, and you, my former son, you have disgraced me and our people by causing the civil war between Autobots and Decepticons for the Matrix of Leadership, by poisoning my spark with Dark Energon, by continuing the war even after you finally realized what poisoning my spark would do, and by choosing to infuse yourself with the very lifeblood of my evil brother despite not fully knowing that you'd end up separating yourself from joining with the Allspark upon death! Your judgement is upon you, Megatron, and your sentence is death!"

Megatron clams up and says, "So, your fellow Autobots have done the impossible so far, Optimus, which is more than I can say for most of your soldiers. And they are also wise as they know when to retreat."

Optimus replies, "Even I hold no illusions about engaging your planet-sized army of zombies, Megatron. But we might derail its objective, by removing its head and spark."

Optimus deploys his right Energon sword and the other Autobots deploy their bladed weapons.

Megatron cackles briefly as he replies back, "Highly unlikely, Optimus, as I am infused with their very might!"

Optimus replies to signify that he partially doesn't care for the moment, "One shall stand, one shall fall."

Megatron deploys his own swords and he and the Autobots begin clashing blades and trading blows.

Over time, it becomes clear that even in his new frame, Primus is still very much a god and his blows made Megatron profusely leak Dark Energon because of the damages brought on by Primus' Sword.

And with Primus' Hammer added to the mix in a scale of power equivalent to the Forge of Solus Prime when used as a battle hammer either by Bulkhead or by Ultra Magnus, it was only a matter of time before Megatron suffered critical damage.

Just then, a Decepticon transmission reaches Megatron's commlink and the femme voice on the other side says as a small Cybertronian freighter appears, "Lord Megatron, this is Decepticon Triple Changer hunter Shatter. Me and my partner Dropkick are en route to rendezvous with the Nemesis crew. Permission to come aboard?"

Megatron replies, "Permission granted, Shatter. Welcome aboard."

At seeing Primus' expression, Megatron replies, "You see, my creator, even the universe itself will grant me allies."

Primus goes all out in his fight against Megatron and it becomes crystal clear that thanks to previously made upgrades from earlier today, Primus is immune to Dark Energon this time around, the pain he felt from Cybertron being infected with the blood of his brother being from the impact of the Dark Energon crashing onto the planet surface like a meteor.

As the fight wears on, the Terrorcon legions continue to get closer.

In the Autobot base, Agent Fowler says before asking, "These things are getting closer. That's bad, right?"

Elixdote answers, "Yes. Real bad."

Saberfist then says over the commlink, "Ratchet, we're in position."

Ratchet replies, "Saberfist, please pay close attention."

At the battle, Primus punches Megatron hard before slashing him across the chestplate and then smacking Megatron's sword with his own hard enough to break it in half.

Primus then uppercuts Megatron, grabs him by his right leg, smacks him face first into the ground, does the Transformers Armada video game Multiple Slam Attack, and throws Megatron towards Whitebright.

Whitebright stabs Megatron in his side before headbutting him and punching him towards Optimus, and Optimus does a haymaker.

Megatron smacks into the ground on his front, his frame sparking and leaking because of his damages.

Just then, Starscream contacts his master and asks, "Master?"

Megatron demands angrily, "Starscream, what is it?!"

On the bridge of the Nemesis, Starscream answers, "I don't wish to question your all-seeing wisdom, but it appears that the Autobots are up to something again – beneath your Space Bridge this time."

Back at the battle site, Megatron remarks, "Ahh... Misdirection, everyone? You would've made fine Decepticons."

Primus kicks Megatron in the face and replies, "I am an omnibenevolent god, Megatron, and it is time for you to fragging die!"

Primus lets loose with his blasters and Megatron suffers more blaster and bullet damage before he transforms to his jet mode and flies off to the bottom of his Space Bridge.

Megatron then says, "Starscream, Shatter, Dropkick, my army approaches. Rendezvous with the Space Bridge for pickup."

On the bottom of the Space Bridge, Saberfist follows Ratchet's instructions as the medic says over the commlink, "Now, follow the line from the flow regulator to the Energon pump; there should be a valve."

Saberfist says as he presses the correct button to open the valve, "Here it is, I see it."

Ratchet replies, "Good. To turn all of that power against itself, all you need to do is reverse the current."

Saberfist pulls the lever in the counter-clockwise position and the valve electrifies itself.

In the base, Saberfist says over the commlink, "The current is reversed; the Space Bridge is set to blow."

Agent Fowler exclaims before inquiring, "Yes!... right?"

June replies, "Yep."

Ratchet then says, "I'll ready the Ground Bridge."

Shadeskulker then says, "Heads up, everyone; Megatron's here!"

Everyone shoots at Megatron, and he growls as he shoots back.

Saberfist pulls Arcee out of the way of a couple Dark Energon laser bolts and Shadeskulker pulls Cliffjumper out of the way of some more bolts.

Then, Willow, Sage, Ember, Hazel, Ivy, Iris, Wren, Autumn, River, and Echo set loose their fire breaths and their Demon Slayer weapons on the Decepticon leader, smacking him into the side of his Space Bridge and breathing fire on him just enough to make him retreat.

Then the ten femmes transform back to their normal robot modes and they outfit themselves with Energon Rechargers.

The Autobots begin getting a move on as portions of the Space Bridge from top to bottom begin breaking off because of the power of the Energon commencing detonation.

Megatron flies back to the portal and transforms back to robot mode as he witnesses his army getting closer.

Megatron then notices that the Nemesis is gone.

Megatron exclaims, "Starscream, Shatter, Dropkick, where is my ship?!"

On the bridge of the Nemesis, Starscream exclaims back, "We would never make it, Lord Megatron! Don't be a fool; take flight and retreat!"

Shatter adds, "He's right, my lord; the Space Bridge is gonna explode in a matter of astroseconds!"

On the top-bottom ring of the Space Bridge, as Optimus and his allies continue to run towards the edge, Ratchet says to Optimus over the commlink, "Optimus, the Ground Bridge is ready and waiting!"

Optimus then says, "Autobots, jump!"

Optimus and his comrades jump and they all fly and float into the Ground Bridge portal. Then the portal closes after the last Autobots jump through.

Megatron observes his army about to pass the outer side of the portal and he says, "My legion..."

The ringleader reaches out with its left servo, and Megatron's optics widen in shock, anger and horror as he sees his Space Bridge moments away from fully exploding.

Megatron says in desperate anger, "No!"

Megatron lunges forward and attempts to grasp servos with the lead Terrorcon.

Then, on the outside of the Space Bridge, the entire thing implodes from the outside and explodes outward afterwards from the inside, leaving no trace of Megatron, the dead Vehicons, or any of Megatron's undead Terrorcons.

On the bridge of the Nemesis, Inkstorm says, "Decepticons, it pains me and my fellow Generals to note for the log, Lord Megatron's spark has been extinguished. Thus I, Inkstorm, am now Lord Megatron's replacement. All. Hail. Inkstorm."

Off to the side, Starscream growls softly, not liking the fact that he wasn't leader of the Decepticons like he'd hoped.

In the Autobot base, Ratchet, the other medics, the other generic Autobots, and the humans are all waiting anxiously for any of the Autobots to appear.

Rafael then starts to quiz, "Do you... think they're...?"

Ratchet checks his life signal scanner and answers with much surprise in his tone, "Over six hundred and eighty-eight thousand, nine hundred and eighteen life signals... all of them in good health."

Optimus is the first to step through, the automated repair rays fixing up his damages.

Bulkhead comes up next, and Miko remarks happily as she runs to her guardian, "Bulkhead!"

Using her Mass Changing belt, Miko enlarges herself to Bulkhead's height and they embrace, as gently as Bulkhead could manage on his end.

And soon, the rest of the Autobots stepped through, the automated repair sentries fixing them up.

Ratchet asks Optimus, "And Megatron?"

Optimus answers with hardened seriousness, "Not even he could've survived Ground Zero."

Agent Fowler then says at the doors to the cargo elevator, "Primes? Primus? I didn't get to thank all of you for the save. I owe you one. We all do."

Agent Fowler goes into the cargo elevator.

Cliffjumper remarks, "Did he just thank us?"

Shadeskulker answers, "Yep, and he won't be so mean to you guys from here on out."

Bulkhead replies, "I'll believe that when he puts it into practice."

Everyone except for the Primes, Ratchet, Primus, and the more serious-minded Autobots laughed at that.

Miko then comes up to Optimus with personal space in mind and she asks, "So, is this the part where you say goodbye and tell us we need to forget we ever saw you?"

Optimus thinks hard, and after looking at Shadeskulker, Smokeedge and Nightimus Prime's confirming nods, the Autobot leader answers, "We cannot just leave Earth as of now. First and foremost, even though Starscream is no Megatron, the Decepticons will still be led by Soundwave, Duskblade, Ahellona, Mayssa, Clangsound, Kojiro Mercurmodic, Brashfire, Bladewire, Binderbar, Rubyshift, Wearlive, Rapidstep, Phantasm, Writher, Broadbloom, Hornbeam, Airica, Spotmoon, Tarrachen, Igniphantom, Blendwind, Shortcharge, Glowwing, Glimmerheart, Utterances, Mistpunk, Blacksword, Inkstorm, Jetsquall, Dimstorm, Shadowystorm, Gloomstorm, Blackstorm, Shadysquall, Shadesquall, Leadenstorm, Unlitstorm, Hubbreaker, Centerbreaker, Corebreaker, Edgebreaker, Bosombreaker, Rootbreaker, Focusbreaker, Gistbreaker, Marrowbreaker, Pitbreaker, Demiseclaw, Endclaw, Expireclaw, Murderclaw, Killclaw, Drownclaw, Executeclaw, Poisonbreaker, Lynchclaw, and Crucifyclaw, and even if Shockwave and Flashblaze among others are undetected and unexposed as our spies, they won't be able to deceive the other Decepticons for long. Secondly, there are still the matters of MECH, Predacon clone fossils, replicas of various Decepticon weapons and Relics of the Primes, any further Decepticon forces that could potentially make their way to Earth aside from Shatter and Dropkick as of now, and the matter of stopping Unicron from fully awakening and tearing the Earth apart in the process. And thirdly, there is the matter of the Club Con, the Dusksyde, the Death's Head, the Decimator, the Doomsday, the Empirion, the Fatal Consequence, the Hell's Point, the Hydra Cannon, the Kalis' Lament, the Leviathan, the Longshot, the Pale Fire, the Peace Without Tyranny, the Peaceful Tyranny, the Rash Action, the Revenge, the Sea Slag, the Semper Tyrannis, the Thanatos, the Thunder Arrow, the Torment, the Twilight, the Victory, the Warworld, and other Decepticon ships coming to Earth to bolster the Decepticon ranks. We will need to summon further Autobot reinforcements to assist us, and at the very least, we will also need to summon Autobots from countless Transformers realities as well as the Maximals and lesser Predacons of the Beast Era. And fourthly, we will need to scour the Harbinger for the supply of protoforms to increase our numbers on Earth while simultaneously duplicating the protoforms either for clones or for additional numbers for the sparked protoforms. And lastly, even if we had a way to restore Cybertron, there is a good chance that any remaining Decepticon war criminals or other kinds of Decepticons along with splinter factions of MECH might return at some point in the future. We will need to protect Earth and Cybertron from such threats. Until then, we will not be leaving any time soon."

Miko cheered while Rafael and the others celebrated in their own ways.

Later, the humans were taken home, and Ratchet and Shadeskulker finally apologized to each other while Optimus sent out a message to any and all Autobots to come to Earth as an army once more.

His message is as follows: "Without a means of leaving this world without considering the possibility of any of our enemies returning, we Autobots take strength in the bonds we have forged with our three hundred and twenty-six young friends – true warriors, if not in body, then in spirit. But the fact remains, even with Megatron offline, something that is a rarity these days, the Decepticons outnumber us nine hundred and ninety-nine novemdecillion, eight hundred and eighty-eight octodecillion, seven hundred and seventy-seven septendecillion, six hundred and sixty-six sexdecillion, five hundred and fifty-five quindecillion, four hundred and forty-four quattuordecillion, three hundred and thirty-three tredecillion, two hundred and twenty-two duodecillion, one hundred and eleven undecillion, nine hundred and eighty-seven decillion, six hundred and fifty-four nonillion, three hundred and twenty-one octillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septillion, eight hundred and eighty-eight sextillion, seven hundred and seventy-seven quintillion, six hundred and sixty-six quadrillion, five hundred and fifty-five trillion, four hundred and forty-four billion, three hundred and thirty-three million, two hundred and twenty-two thousand, one hundred and eleven to six hundred and eighty-eight thousand, nine hundred and eleven. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any Autobots taking refuge among the stars: we are here. We are waiting. I order all Autobots to reunite with each other across the stars and come to Earth all together, as an army once more. I also send this message to any Decepticons who would bring devastation and conquest to Earth: though we did not choose to be of Earth, it would seem that we are indeed here to stay. If you approach this planet with hostile intent, know this: we will defend ourselves. We will defend humanity. We will defend... our home."

The End.
