Happy Holiday everyone! Have a lovely Christmas!!

The Next day

Mikey opens his eyes, blinking a bit to clear his vision. He slowly rises, stretches out his arms, and lets out a long yawn. After what happened yesterday, he had a perfect dream of what he pictured his life with Judi would be like. His face looks lovestruck, thinking about Judi, his new mate.

He reached out his phone, checking the time, and his eyes widened. December 25th, Christmas Day. "It's Christmas!!" he shouted happily. He quickly left his room, running to the living room like a kid on Christmas morning. "It's Christmas everyone!! Get up and do presents!!"

A chorus of groans is heard in the lair. Each turtle left their room one by one, and one Splinter walked with a tired expression on his face. In fact, they all look exhausted. They all headed to the living room.

"Geez, is he always like this on Christmas?" Ginny asked Leo.

"Every morning on this day," Leo answered with a yawn. "Can we at least eat first?" he asked. "Don't want to open on an empty stomach." Then Mikey got in his face.

"Breakfast later presents now!" Mikey yelled.

Leo, Raph, and Donnie groaned. They don't mind the holidays; they do enjoy their gifts and have a day off from crime fighting, but Mikey can at least not take the holiday too far. And with the new turtles, they would like today to be calming and enjoyable. No excitement, no surprises and no rowdiness.

Everyone sat around the tree while Splinter sat in his chair. He sighed, feeling relaxed. "So, who's gonna open first?" Splinter questioned them. Everyone looks at each other, thinking about who can take the first present.

Then Leo grabbed Ginny's gifts and placed them beside her. "You go first, Ginny." he offered.

"Okay." Ginny looks down at her gifts. She picked out the red gift, opened it, and looked inside. She let out a sharp gasp. "No way!!" She pulled out a basketball. "I always wanted one as a kid!! Thank you, Raph!!" she smiled at Raph.

"Can't wait to see how you play." Raph smiled back. He figured that Ginny must be the sporty kind, and he was so looking forward to her beating Leo in his own game.

Ginny grabbed an orange gift, ripped the wrapping off, and opened the lid. "A cookbook?" Ginny pulled out a cookbook, opened it, and looked inside. She then looked surprised." Oh my, it has recipes for a service of ten!!" she gasped.

"By yours truly," Mikey smirked.

"Oh, brother." Leo rolled his eyes.

Then she opened the other two. The purple gift held an iPhone, while the blue gift had a new sci-fi movie. Ginny couldn't stop smiling at the gifts she got. "Is this the new sci-fi movie!!? And I got an iPhone!" she grinned. "I can talk to my family again!! Thank you guys!!" She ran and hugged the four.

"Merry Christmas, Ginny." Raph hugged her back, looking at Leo, whose face was entirely red. He smirked invisibly; his brother was crushing hard on Ginny. The group hug broke off as Ginny went back to her seat.

"My turn! My turn!!" Judi happily chimed in. She opens a red present, pulling out a teddy bear. "Oh mi gosh!! He is adorable!!" She hugged the teddy bear. "I love him!!" She placed the teddy bear down and opened the blue gift, taking out a comic book of her favorite hero. "A Lady Luna comic with her partner, the mysterious Prince Solar!! Eeee!"

She put the comic next to her teddy bear and opened an orange gift and a purple gift. "New paint canvas with stickers!!!" she beamed happily. "Thank you!! Thank you!!" She hugged Leo, Raph, and Donnie. Then she hugged Mikey.

He hugged her back. "You're welcome, my love." he got a kiss on the cheek from Judi.

Donnie did a fake gag of this. Mikey was the first to get a mate out of all his brothers. He should have known it would come when being around them.

Then, it was Julian's turn. He ripped open a blue gift and pulled out a skateboard in yellow color. "Whoa, a new skateboard. And with my color, too." he smiled. He placed the skateboard down, grabbed the red gift, and opened it; inside were a pair of roller skates. "A pair of roller skates. That's amazing." he then turned to a purple present, ripped the wrappings off, and pulled out a book on human anatomy. "A book of human anatomy. What for?"

"Open your last present," Mikey told him.

Julian frowned, confused. But he grabbed the orange present, ripped it off, and opened the lid. He gasped in surprise. He pulled it out; it was a graphic drawing tablet.

"You guys got me a drawing tablet?" he asked them.

"I saw a few of your sketches, and you are a talented guy." Mikey smiled.

Julian was smiling huge. "I love it!! I can't wait to use it!!!" He set it down along with his gift. "Thank you so much!!!" He hugged Mikey, who hugged him back.

Nina stares at the four presents with her name on it. She frowned, almost like she was a bit upset. "It's been so long since I had a proper Christmas." Her mother never brought Christmas up ever since her father died. A waste of money and a useless holiday, she told Nina. Nina completely forgot what it's like to do the holiday.

"No rush, Nina," Donnie assured her.

Nina only sighed. So she grabbed a purple present, ripped the wrappings away, and opened the lid. Inside was an iPad Pro with a pen and headsets.

Nina blinked. "Wha?" She looked up. "I'm speechless."

Donnie smiled at her. "You deserve it."

Nina put her new iPad away and opened the rest. Inside the blue gift was a manga book of Demon Slayer. The orange gift had a book of animals, and the red gift had a blanket of her favorite Demon Slayer character.

"Is this Nezuko?" She looked at the image of her. Raph smiled at her. "I... I'm amazed."

"Merry Christmas, Nina." Donnie smiled at her.

"You guys are too kind. And we didn't even manage to get you guys some gifts." Ginny acknowledged.

"Hey. we are not mad at this," Raph assured her with a smile and a wave. "This is your first Christmas with us, and we want you to have a real happy Christmas."

"You're part of us now and part of the Hamato clan, too," Leo added.

The girls and Julian all have tears in their eyes, hearing how kind they are to them, and they accept them as part of their family. It has changed them so much after all they did for them and how much they put up with them. They all hugged the turtles and Splinter in a tight group hug.

"Okay, okay. Let's enjoy this day together." Splinter chuckled. The girls and Julian let them go. The turtles and Splinter all open their presents, happy with their gifts and happy together.

Once they all opened their gifts, they all had a good breakfast and are now watching a Christmas movie together. The teens all laughed at each funny scene and funny lines. Leo, Ginny, Nina, and Donnie sat on the couch as Judi, Mikey, Julian, and Raph on the floor.

"After, want to play some board games?" Mikey asked; the movie is near the end.

"Yeah!" Judi nodded.

Ginny smiled. "I'm in."

"Same here." Julian agreed.

Leo stood up from the couch. "And I got the perfect game."

"If you say CandyLand, I swear-"Leo interrupted Donnie.

"Candyland!!" Leo finished. Donnie groaned loudly while the three cheered at the idea of it. Raph and Mikey both shrugged; if the three want to play it, it's their choice. Can't argue over it.

After the movie is over, the turtles all gather in the game room with the CandyLand board game on the floor, and the turtles are in a circle. Each take turns playing, getting into the game. Around are Leo, Raph, Mikey, Ginny, Judi and Julian. Donnie and Nina are out of sight.

Sitting away from the group in a beanbag chair is Nina. She held her animal book, reading it and taking chemical notes. She looked at the group, frowning. She wants to join them but is still new to being in a group and being trusted. She brushed her hair back out of her eye, sighing. She turned back to her book.

Judi sees Nina alone there; she frowns at this. When it was Julian's turn to go, Judi left the game and went to Nina. She has her hands behind her back, approaching her. "Hey. Why aren't you joining us?" She asked her.

Nina heard her voice, looking up and facing her. She closed the book. "I...I am a little rusty with the Christmas thing. "she answered, a painful expression on her face. "My Nancy and Henry never celebrated Christmas after Taty died and never had a happy Christmas since." She revealed her past to Judi.

"But things are better now," Judi exclaimed. "Come join us. You're part of the team, too."

"I don't know.." Nina looks away from her, frowning.

"Come on. It will be a blast!" Judi smiled at her, trying to get her to be optimistic.

And it is working. Nina let out a small smile; she found her energy quite contagious. She has a way of bringing joy to others. "There's no way I am getting out, am I?" She turned to her.

"Nope!!" Judi grinned, taking Nina by the hand. "Come on, Scroogy!!!" She giggled.

Nina put the book on the beanbag as she got dragged by Judi all the way to their game. She watched Leo gasping as he got defeated by Ginny. They all laughed at his dramatic defect. Nina sat down beside Julian and Mikey, looking at their game.

She then noticed that Donnie was the only one who didn't appear. "Where's Donnie?" She asked.

"Probably in his lab, working on something like always," Leo answered, rolling his eyes. "Can get kinda overwhelming around the holidays." He added.

"Oh, I see." Nina nodded. She was hoping he would be around, but he needed his space to breathe and get his mind in order like her. Then, it became her turn to play.

When the others are still playing, Raph enters the med-bay. He held a present in his hand, looking down at Primrose's lying body. She is still in her coma; her heart monitor is still showing her heartbeat, strong still, and breathing fine with the air tube. He is starting to get very worried; she is not showing any signs of recovery. He fears if she doesn't wake up soon, she will be forced to die.

He sat on a chair beside her. He looked at her face, eyes closing and the tube over her mouth. "Hey, Prim." He began. "How are you feeling?" Hearing no reply. He sighed. "Still asleep. As always. Well…I came to say Merry Christmas." He stated. He placed the present on her chest. "Hope you will wake up next year. You still have a lot to live for. Please wake up." Raph begged her to wake up, but she didn't move a muscle.

Raph then slowly got up and left the med-bay, returning to his Christmas with his family.

Primrose lay still, almost like a statue. Suddenly, her eyebrow started to twitch before it stopped moving.

And that's when April arrived in the lair, carrying presents from her. "Merry Christmas, you beautiful mutants!!" April announced.

"April!!" Judi ran to her and hugged her. "Did you bring me gifts!?"

"Yes, Judi." April smiled. "But please be careful; I have a stack in my arms." She held them up in her arms while being hugged by Judi.

"Let me help you with that, April." Raph came into view after leaving the medbay.

April sighed in relief. "You are a lifesaver, big guy." She thanked him.

Raph grabbed the presents in April's arm, carrying them to the tree and placing them under it. He has a smile on his face, happy to see April visiting them.

April gets free from Judi, who walks away from her. She got along very well with the girls. Then April spots Nina peeking from the game room entrance, which was a first for her. Nina never leaves her room or refuses to let anyone close to her. But she is amazed by this.

"Look who decided to come out of her shell." April chuckled, heading to the game room.

Nina gulped. "Uh…yeah…" she muttered. "Sorry for my actions to you."

April shook her head. "Girl, it's past the shoreline. All is forgiven." She assured her. "Donnie told me what you've been through. I wish I could have helped a bit more."

Nina blinked. So Donnie told her as well. She frowned. "I really want help, but…"

"What your mom did was really out of line." April exhaled. Then she smiled softly to her. "You are good here with us."

Nina smiled back. "Thank April."

April hugged Nina, and she hugged her back. April feels happy that Nina is beginning to trust her now, even when she knows how cruel humans like her can be. But she won't turn a blind eye like they do; she knows better. She released Nina and spotted the turtles still playing Candy Land while Splinter sat on the couch with hot chocolate in hand, and Donnie had his phone in his hand as he stood against the wall.

"I see the turtles and one rat, but where is Draxum?" April asked them.

Leo shrugged. "Not sure. Haven't seen him since Thanksgiving."

"Last I spoke to him was back at his apartment," Donnie informed them. "Let me make a call real quick." He enters Draxum's number, waiting for the phone to answer. It ended up straight to voicemail. "Odd. He always kept his phone by his side." He hung up.

"You think he can be in trouble?" Mikey asked.

"I hope not. I can head to his place after our Christmas is done." Donnie claimed.

Mikey frowned, getting worried about his creator. "I hope he is okay." He muttered. "You don't think the yokai's got to him."

"Hard to say, buddy," Leo answered. They continue their game.

Donnie sighed; it's not like Draxum to not show up on holidays or miss a call. He just hoped he was still alive and somewhere else. He looked at his brothers playing with the girls, especially Nina, who was playing against Leo, Mikey, and Julian, who had a smile on her face.

Donnie smiled softly at this. He is proud that Nina is starting to be more open to everyone and getting along with them as well. She has developed so much in her.

In the dining room, it was dinner as the turtles, April and Splinter, ate their meal. It has roasted beef in sauce, stuffing, rolls, gravy, green beans, and mushroom pot pie.

"Mushroom pot pie?" Mikey was grossed out.

"Nina is the only one who hates meat," Ginny answered, eating her meal. "So I got to make an alternative dish, too."

Nina eats the mushroom pot pie with her green beans and rolls. It was the best food she ever had. "I love it. Thanks, Ginny." She smiled.

"Hey! I helped, too." April scoffed.

Nina chuckled nervously. Still getting used to trusting humans again. "Thanks, April. Sorry."

"You're forgiven." April smiled, taking a bite of her beef.

Judi pushed the empty place away and finished with her meal. "So, desserts?"

"Dinner first, then we can move on to desserts, you piggy." Ginny disclosed

Judi scoffed and crossed her arms. "Who are you calling Piggy?" She pouted.

Everyone laughed at her poutines. They mean well, but seeing her was too cute to pass. She has such a huge appetite. Everyone returns back to their dinner.

Nina looks up from her plate to Donnie, sitting next to her. "So, Donnie, what were you doing in your lab?" She asked him.

"Sorry, that's personal business," Donnie answered without hesitation.

Leo chuckled. "Secretive much?" He smirked.

"Oh?" Donnie raised an eyebrow from his mask. "Like your huge crush on G-"

"Geomancy!!!" Leo interrupted him. "I do love a good geomancy! Can't get enough of it!!" His face was blushing red.

Ginny raised an eyebrow at this; since when did Leo like Geomancy? He thought it was boring, and hearing him say it was very confusing.

Leo felt a sweat drop on his forehead. He chuckled nervously. "Say! Is it time to get the good old Yule Log?!" He changed the topic, trying to get out of hinting any sign of affection to Ginny.

"Finally! The best finish for today!!" Judi happily cheered.

Julian let out a laugh. "Geez, sis, you've become quite a sweet lover." He added.

"They're the best!!" Judi reposed. "Way better than yucky veggies!" She cringed in disgust.

"Veggies are good for you," Nina informed her. "Can help fuel your body and give you energy to live longer," she added.

Judi stuck her tongue out and did a fake gag; she is no fan of veggies. Hate how they taste and they don't have any flavor. Julian laughed at this. Oh, how much his sister has changed and how much she is developing.

April came back with a plate of the Yule Log cake. It has chocolate frosting around it and is designed as a log. It was dusted in powdered sugar to make it snowy and have a cranberry on top as well. She carefully placed it on the table, then used the bread knife to cut it into slices and placed them on small plates.

Raph grabs his plate, which was given to him by April. "Thanks, April." he thanked her.

"Anytime, big guy." April smiled.

Donnie stood up from his seat. "None for me, thanks." He refused. "I need to go to Draxum." After failing to get any call from him, he figures something must have happened to him and wants to check his theories wrong.

"Fine." Leo rolled his eyes, taking a bite of his cake.

"I'll save him a slice, April." Nina offered.

April nodded. "You got it, girl." she smiled.

"Thank Nina." Donnie thanked her. She replied back with a smile.

He walked away from the dining room, approaching the lair's entrance. He grabbed his BO staff in case he got caught in danger and needed to fight out. He looked behind him, seeing everyone enjoying the Yule Log. Then he left the lair.

Once he was gone, Nina grabbed her plate and Donnie's. "I'm gonna finish my dessert in my room if you guys are okay with it," she told them.

"Now?" Judi pouted; her lips got chocolate. Thankfully, Julian wiped it off.

"Judi." Ginny scolds Judi, then turns to Nina with a motherly smile. "Go ahead. Merry Christmas, Nina."

"Merry Christmas, guys." Nina bowed to them, leaving the dining room.

She headed to Donnie's lab first. She wondered why he decided to go there instead of with them. Maybe he is working on a new invention or planning for the team. As she entered inside, she looked and saw nothing had been touched or moved. It confused her; Leo said he was here, yet it was never touched all day. She sighed, hoping it would be something interesting.

She placed the plate on his desk, left the lab, and headed to her room. She softly sighed, today has been a good day. And it was nice celebrating the holiday again, and with the guys, too.

She approached her room, opened the door, and looked inside. She let out the loudest gasp, backed away, and her eyes widened so high she almost popped her eyeballs out.

Her room has changed! The mattress, the boxes, the broken mirror, and the shelves are all gone! In her room, she has a full-sized bed with clean purple sheets and a frame. She has a computer desk with two computer monitors, a gaming controller, and headsets. There's even a PlayStation 5 on her desk, with a Nintendo Switch too. A table with a chemistry set, two plants originating from the Philippines, a gaming chair with a footrest, and a third plant on her gaming desk. A shelf with figurines from her favorite game and anime. A low bookshelf with manga, chemistry books, and animal anatomy books. On top is a turtle tank with Bello lying under a heating lamp, a rug close to her bed, and light strings around her room in purple color. And the wall is dark purple as well. What used to be a rundown room turned into a gaming lab for an anime lover.

Nina was stunned. Someone must have done this while she was away for a day. She walked inside, taking in all her new furniture and items. She placed the plate on her new desk while scanning around.

She spotted a purple present on her bed. She grabbed it and opened it. Inside is an 18-inch plush of her favorite character, Raiden Ei. There was a tag on the ankle; grab it and read it. 'Merry Christmas, from Donnie.'

"Donnie.." She whispered his name. She let out a smile as tears ran down her cheek. She hugged her new plush as she sat on the bed. No one has ever done this for her, not even her parents. What he did for her was mind-blowing and amazing.

She looked up at the light, smiling at them. Her heart swells with the love and joy she experienced today. This has been the best Christmas in her new life.

Donnie enters Draxum's apartment through the open window, stepping gently on the floor. He looked around; the apartment hadn't been touched in weeks, and dust had dusted everywhere. It was cold like no one touched the heater.

"Draxum?" Donnie called out for him, no answer. He started his search.

He checked his bedroom; the bed was neatly made. But no sight of him. He checked the bathrooms, finding no living being. He even checked his lab, too; the set was covered in dust, and the window was open as well, letting the cold air in.

Donnie sighed. "No way he can't be in the Hidden City," he murmured to himself. He scans the lab around.

Then he saw Draxum's laptop open and still in the record. Donnie gasped; something happened while still at work. He grabbed the laptop, closed it, and took the battery. He quickly left the apartment. Draxum was missing, and it wasn't looking good, too.

Meanwhile, Draxum slowly wakes up, opening his eyes. His head was in pain, and he softly groaned. His vision was slightly blurry, but he could make out the shapes. He struggled to move, only to find he was tied to a chair.

He was surrounded by humans, all in black suits and black sunglasses. They all stare at him like he is a freak to be seen by humiliating eyes. He can hear loud screaming around their location, all sound in pain and fright.

He growled. "Do what you want with me, but I will never tell you everything." he glared at the group.

"You're going to." Bishop's voice is heard. The group parted in separate rows, revealing Bishop himself as he slowly approached Draxum. "One way or another." his face is close to Draxum's, glaring down at him. "Now answer me this: what else do you know of those turtles?" he asks.

"I already told you. They're not your concern!!" Draxum shouted at Bishop, who didn't flinch, still stone-faced. "They are true, Hamatos, and you know you can't hurt them!! That would go against your vows!"

Bishop nodded. "Yes. I did promise their ancestors I wouldn't get in their way with the Shredder," he answered. Then he stared down at Draxum. "But I am willing to make an acceptance by ripping their shells off."

Draxum snarled. "You don't know where their lair is."

"No, but I know who can lead me to them." Bishop brushed his jacket off some dust. He tilted his head, letting his sunglasses lean down and revealing his purple eyes," Ms. O'Neil." He finished.

Draxum gasped, hearing he knew they had a human ally. "You wouldn't.." he whispered, afraid of what he might do to her.

"My patient is going thin," Bishop warned him, putting his sunglasses back on. Then he grabbed Draxum's shoulder and shouted at his face. "Now, what do you know of them, or else I will force that girl to tell me!!"

"Okay! Okay!" Draxum surrender. "Just don't hurt April!"

Bishop let him go, setting him back in his potions and standing tall before him. "Go on." He motioned to him.

Draxum sighed, feeling he had no choice. "Yes, they are my creations from Hamato Yoshi's DNA. But they were my enemies from the moment we met," he revealed to them. "They released my oozeqitos to New York and fought my army of mutants. They are the ones that defected the Shredder and stopped the Krang's plans." he finished.

"So it was those turtles…quite meddlesome," Bishop mumbled to himself. He figures it must be someone who defected the Krang and how the citizens of New York have vanished in one day and appeared the next. And they are doing their job, too. He faced Draxum. "Now, what do you know of the missing teens? Where are they?" he asked with a growl.

"With the turtles, but I'm afraid they have also become mutants," Draxum told him. "So you are too late to get them back."

"Not without an antidote." Bishop heaved.

Draxum's eyes widened upon hearing this. "You're not thinking about returning them to humans, are you?" He implied. "Look, I may not know much about the girls and Julian. But I can tell they are much happier with the turtles than in their former lives. Please don't take away their happiness." he begged.

"I won't, but you will help me create the antidote." Bishop persuaded.

"If I refuse to?" Draxum glared. Bishop raised his eyebrow, hinting at his previous threat. Draxum frowned; he meant it. He frowned sadly. "I'll do it.." he gave in.

"Thank you." Bishop turned around and walked away.

"Just please don't hurt them!!" Draxum begged loudly. "They're good mutants!! They're New York's last hope!!!"

Bishop stopped his track. "I'm not a monster, old friend." he turned his head around, a side view of his purple eyes. "But I will be sure they are kept busy and taken care of." he finished, resuming his track.

Draxum's eyes widened in fear. He was trapped till he did as he was told to, creating an alternative to his mutagen and what Bishop would do if he caught them. He hoped they would be careful and keep the girls and Julian safe from EDF's eyes.
