It's different, Seth thinks. This holiday season. Taking a couple weeks out, just... being. There had been a couple weeks where the shows were hit and miss while they got some time off, and so they didn't have access to portals to go to the digiworld, and there was no way to check in on whatever was happening with Ziggler. Seth feels bad about that, he thinks, but he can't complain about the time off. Getting to sit at home, and introduce Betamon to the things in his world outside of fighting in the Digiworld and wrestling matches and whatever else. Like Christmas trees, and hot cocoa, and carols. It'd been an enjoyable last few days.
He's pretty sure the others are enjoying it too, although they're all as concerned about what may be waiting for them in the Dark Ocean as he is. But it's nice to have this time to regroup, especially after everything Dark Bagramon put them through. He rests his head back on a pillow and breathes, watching the Christmas lights gleam on the ceiling overhead.
"Everything's going to be ok," Betamon murmurs sleepily against his arm.
"I hope so," he murmurs back. "I hope so." There's a couple days until New Years, until they will return to the digiworld and try yet again to help Luke with everything. For now, he strokes his partner's forehead and mulls everything over. "My New Years resolution" he murmurs. "Leave the Digiworld in better shape than when I'd left it."
He smiles, envisioning a place of peace for all of the Digimon who live in the various, trauma filled lands. It's beautiful, it's incredible. it helps lull him right off to sleep.
