The first event is overwhelmingly a success, Ricardo feeling choked up with emotion as he finally feels like he's back where he belongs. In a ring alongside Alberto, watching things flourish, succeed. "Ai, mi hermano," he whispers between matches, lightly nudging Alberto. "Can you believe this?"

"Si, of course I can," Alberto murmurs back. "Everything works out best for me when you are by my side." Ricardo's teeth gleam in the faint light and then they go separate ways to continue overseeing, make sure nothing goes wrong now that they're finally here, now that things are going well.

Alicia is in the crowd, which makes Ricardo even more eager for things to go well as he stands in the ring, watching and waiting for his cue. The matches are intense, the competitors eager to start off on the best possible footing in this new federation, and all in all, the evening goes by so quickly that Ricardo can barely catch his breath sometimes, but it's all overwhelming in the best possible way and the crowd seems to enjoy it.

Later, once the final match ends, and the happy, tired crowd has all cleared out of the building, Alicia meets up with Ricardo and Alberto, resting her head on Ricardo's shoulder and humming as he hugs her close. "Great show, guys, it was a lot of fun," she says with a sleepy kind of smile.

"Gracias," Alberto tells her. "And muchas gracias to you as well, Ricardo. Tonight wouldn't have been half as successful without you here to help me with it." He wraps an arm around Ricardo and kisses the top of his head loudly, Alicia giggling at the sound.

Ricardo smiles up at him, eyes soft. "Nah, nah, I just supported you, you did the rest, El Patron. This is your baby, and it's quite impressive. I look forward to the next event."

Alberto grins. "Me too. Si, si, indeed." He claps Ricardo on the shoulder and starts to shoo them out of the building. "I will close up here, it looks like you both could use some sleep. I will see you later, hm?"

Ricardo hesitates, wanting perhaps to offer a quick celebration with Alberto, at the very least a toast to honor his current success, but ultimately nods when Alicia settles, heavier, against his side, making sleepy little noises. "Alright, gracias, El Patron. See you." Alberto's car is waiting for them and he settles in the back seat, Alicia's head resting in his lap as she sprawls out across the cushions, while they make the journey back to the hotel Alberto had booked for them until their flight back to Texas in the morning.

Once they arrive, she is fast asleep and he sighs quietly, hoisting her up and carrying her inside, relieved when he gets her to the elevators safely. She's not been competing, so she's lighter and easier to carry around, but she's still beautiful to him either way, as he lays her down on the plush mattress and brushes some of the hair out of her eyes. She looks young, and pensive, in her sleep and he smiles softly. "I love you, Alicia," he whispers to her, leaning in to kiss her on the lips. "I'm glad you were here with me tonight for this show." Toeing his shoes off as quietly as possible, he shrugs out of his dress clothes and sinks down into bed next to her. "Rest sweet, my love."

He breathes her in as he wraps an arm around her midsection and draws her closer against him, closes his eyes, and falls asleep almost immediately as well, smiling softly as he relives the event in his dreams.
